20:00 - Liverpool v Atalanta

Liverpool to Win Both Halves @ 10/3

Liverpool have dominated Group D of the UEFA Champions League, winning three out of three, scoring eight and conceding none. Jurgen Klopp’s men will be looking for another comfortable European victory when they entertain Serie A side Atalanta at Anfield on Wednesday night. As you would expect, the Premier League champions are the clear favourites to take maximum points from this one, but it might not be quite so easy an evening as the odds suggest if complacency creeps into the home side’s ranks.

Liverpool ran riot in Bergamo in the reverse game, with new signing Diego Jota helping himself to a hat-trick in the 5-0 romp – Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane got the others. The Reds are already five points clear of Ajax and Atalanta in Group D and – if they stay focused and ruthless – Liverpool should have no problems. We are backing Klopp’s boys to win both halves of this one at Anfield, which is available at a fair price of 10/3.

25th Nov 2020

19:45 - Bristol City v Watford

Watford to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Dean Holden’s Bristol City welcome Vladimir Ivic’s Watford to Ashton Gate this Wednesday. These two sides both have Premier League aspirations, and this promises to be an entertaining EFL Championship encounter in Bristol. Can the Robins fly to all three points on home soil, or will the Hornets return to Herefordshire with a big three points in the bag?

Bristol City made a solid start to their season before going five games without a win. Nevertheless, City have got back on track since. Watford are one of the title favourites, and Ivic has settled in nicely at Vicarage Road. This has the potential to swing either way, but we fancy the in-form Hornets to seal a narrow margin of victory at Ashton Gate. Have a punt on the away team to win by a one goal margin at odds of 11/4.

25th Nov 2020

19:00 - Millwall v Reading

Draw @ 13/5

Gary Rowett’s Millwall and Veljko Paunovic’s Reading meet at The Den in an intriguing fixture in the EFL Championship on Wednesday night. The Royals may have had a slump in form of late, but Paunovic has made a strong start at the Madejski Stadium on the whole, guiding Reading to seven wins from their first eight Championship matches. Can the boys from Berkshire secure the points in the capital on Wednesday?

Millwall have not lost many games this season, but the London side are an unpredictable outfit these days. Even without fans in the stadium, The Den is always a tough place to visit. The Lions head into this one as the favourites with the bookies, but we fancy Reading to hold the home team to a frustrating draw. If you agree, you can get the draw at the decent price of 23/10.

25th Nov 2020

19:00 - Middlesbrough v Derby

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

In the EFL Championship in midweek, Middlesbrough welcome lowly Derby County to the Riverside Stadium. The experienced Neil Warnock has made his Boro side hard to beat this season, and the home team will be looking for a positive result here. The Rams, who recently parted ways with Phillip Cocu, have made a woeful start to their Championship campaign.

As we touched on, Middlesbrough have been a tough nut to crack under Warnock this term. Boro could be dark horses for the play-offs, while Derby will be desperate to avoid a relegation scrap. These two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Riverside Stadium back in January when they last met, and we fancy this one to end all square in North Yorkshire. The draw and both teams to score is available at odds of 15/4.

25th Nov 2020

17:55 - Olympiakos v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 6/5

Manchester City travel to Greece in midweek to take on Olympiakos at the Karaiskakis Stadium in UEFA Champions League action. City are one of the tournament favourites, and three points in Piraeus on Wednesday would see them safely through to the knockout stages of this season’s Champions League. After easing to three wins out of three so far, Pep Guardiola’s men are the big favourites in this one.

Man City came from behind to beat Porto at the Etihad Stadium in game one. The Premier League giants followed that up with comfortable 3-0 wins over Marseille and Olympiakos. Ferran Torres, Gabriel Jesus and Joao Cancelo got the goals in the easy victory over the Greeks in Manchester. We fancy Pep’s boys to keep another clean sheet on Wednesday. You can get City to win to nil at decent odds of 6/5.

24th Nov 2020

20:00 - Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest

Bournemouth to Win -1 Goal @ 21/10

Jason Tindall’s Bournemouth and Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest do battle at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night in the EFL Championship. After suffering the agony of relegation from the Premier League last term, the Cherries will be hoping for an instant return to the top tier. Bournemouth have made a steady start under their new boss, but can they secure all three points on home turf in midweek?

Nottingham Forest lost each of their opening five league and cup matches under Sabri Lamouchi. However, Forest have shown a big improvement since the experienced Hughton arrived. Tuesday’s clash at Bournemouth will be one of their toughest challenges yet, though. We can see the home side securing a comfortable victory at the Vitality. Have a punt on Bournemouth to win with a -1 goal handicap, which you can get at the decent odds of 21/10.

24th Nov 2020

20:00 - Man United v Istanbul Basaksehir

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 7/4

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United will be out for revenge when they welcome Okan Buruk’s Istanbul Basaksehir to Old Trafford this Tuesday night in UEFA Champions League action. The Turkish side picked up a 2-1 win when the pair clashed in Istanbul before the international break. Nonetheless, the Red Devils are the clear favourites in this one.

Man United made a stunning start to Group H, winning 2-1 against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes back in October. United followed that up with an impressive 5-0 home victory over RB Leipzig on Matchday Two, with Marcus Rashford netting a hat-trick at Old Trafford. The defeat in Turkey was a setback, but Solskjaer’s side should return to winning ways on Tuesday. We like the look of the home win and both teams to score at odds of 7/4.

24th Nov 2020

17:55 - Rennes v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 12/5

Chelsea continue their UEFA Champions League campaign with a trip to Roazhon Park to take on Julien Stephan’s Rennes this Tuesday evening. Frank Lampard’s boys and Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla have both picked up seven points from a possible nine so far so this could be a good opportunity for the Blues to edge towards finishing at the top of the group. Chelsea cruised to victory over the Ligue 1 side a fortnight ago – will the Premier League outfit claim another easy win in midweek?

Rennes have struggled in Champions League Group E, drawing one and losing two of their games thus far. As for Chelsea, after a 4-0 away win at Krasnodar, goals from Timo Werner (2) and Tammy Abraham gave the Blues a 3-0 victory over Rennes at Stamford Bridge in their last European encounter. We fancy Chelsea to get three points and keep a clean sheet in France. Take a punt on the away team to win to nil at odds of 12/5.

22nd Nov 2020

19:15 - Liverpool v Leicester City

Liverpool to Win -1 Goal @ 11/5

Champions Liverpool welcome the current Premier League leaders Leicester City to Anfield this Sunday night for a mouth-watering fixture. The Foxes are the surprise leaders as things stand, winning six of their opening eight. Ahead of this weekend’s fixtures, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds find themselves just a point behind in third. This promises to be a cracker at Anfield, but which side will prevail?

Since shock back-to-back home defeats to West Ham United and Aston Villa, Leicester have gone on to win six matches in a row in all competitions. As for Liverpool, they are unbeaten in seven league and cup games since that incredible 7-2 league defeat at Villa Park. Brendan Rodgers’ boys are a tough nut to crack, but Liverpool should make home advantage count on Sunday. The Reds have won by more than one goal five times this term. With that in mind we are going to back the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap here at odds of 11/5.

22nd Nov 2020

16:30 - Leeds United v Arsenal

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United welcome Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. United have made a decent start to their season, although their previous two games have ended in 4-1 defeats. As for the Gunners, they will be hoping to hit back after a shock 3-0 home loss to Aston Villa before the international break.

Leeds are down in 15th place in the table at present, but Bielsa’s boys have pulled off some eye-catching results this season. They have won three league games, taken a point off Manchester City as well as giving Liverpool a good game of it at Anfield. Arsenal have blown hot and cold, winning four and losing four of their opening eight. We fancy these two to play out a draw at Elland Road. We’ll be backing the draw and both teams to score at odds of 10/3 as we certainly can’t see the match ending goalless.

22nd Nov 2020

14:00 - Sheffield United v West Ham

West Ham United to Win to Nil @ 3/1

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United and David Moyes’ West Ham United clash in Premier League action at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon. The Blades are bottom of the league having taken just one point from eight games thus far. Sheffield United could really do with their first league win of the season this weekend, but the Hammers head to the Steel City in good form and are favourites to get the victory.

West Ham have won three, lost three and drawn two of their opening eight matches. Before the international break, a late goal from Tomas Soucek gave the Irons a 1-0 home victory over Fulham. Sheffield United have lost without scoring on four occasions already this season and there have been no obvious signs they are in a position to turn things around. As such, we’re taking a punt on West Ham to win to nil at Bramall Lane, which is nicely priced at odds of 3/1.

21st Nov 2020

20:00 - Manchester United v West Brom

Manchester United to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United entertain Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion in Premier League action at Old Trafford this Saturday night. With the Red Devils down in 14th place at present, only three points will do for the home team. Albion, who were promoted from the EFL Championship last term, have yet to win a Premier League game this season and we do not see them starting here.

Before the break, two Bruno Fernandes goals and a late strike from Edinson Cavani gave United an impressive 3-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park. However, that was just their third Premier League victory of the season. As for the Baggies, they have drawn three and lost five of their opening eight. Man Utd are a streaky side and we fancy they will go on a good run now. They should sail past West Brom at Old Trafford this weekend so back the hosts to win both halves at solid odds of 7/4.

21st Nov 2020

17:30 - Tottenham v Manchester City

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

The standout game of the round in the Premier League this weekend sees Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City lock horns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Jose Mourinho’s Spurs have started well, sitting a point behind leaders Leicester City in second place. Pep Guardiola’s Man City are already six points adrift of the top, although the Citizens do have a game in hand. This is a massive fixture for both clubs with a little extra spice coming from the animosity between the two managers.

Tottenham have recovered well from their opening day defeat to Everton, going on to win five and draw two of seven in the league. Man City have yet to get going, but Pep’s boys are unbeaten in their last nine across all competitions (six wins, three draws). We fancy these heavyweights to play out an entertaining draw in the capital. The draw and both teams to score is available at 15/4.

21st Nov 2020

15:00 - Aston Villa v Brighton

Aston Villa Win and BTTS @ 3/1

Villa have surprised everyone this season, not least Liverpool who they battered 7-2 in one of the shocks of the Premier League. Depending on other results they could go top of the table with a win here and we expect them to do that against a Brighton outfit struggling, down in 16th and with just one win to their name. Brighton have probably played better at times than results suggest but things have not quite gone their way.

Villa will certainly be a tough nut for them to crack this weekend, with the Midlands outfit thriving with the ever-improving Jack Grealish pulling the strings and Ollie Watkins really taking well to Premier League life. The Seagulls have not had too many problems scoring this term though and we think they will get on the scoresheet here. They have notched in defeats against Spurs, Everton, Man United and Chelsea already this season so the Villa win and both teams to score is the way to go here at nice odds of 3/1.

21st Nov 2020

12:30 - Bournemouth v Reading

Bournemouth to Win -1 Goal @ 15/8

Jason Tindall’s Bournemouth and Veljko Paunovic’s Reading square off in Saturday’s early kick off in the EFL Championship. The Royals may be top of the table, but the Cherries are the clear favourites to pick up all three points at the Vitality Stadium. Reading will be desperate to avoid a fourth straight defeat, while Bournemouth will leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table with a home win.

Bournemouth have made a steady start to life back in the Championship, losing only one of their 11 games so far. After a 1-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday, Tindall’s troops hit back with a 3-1 win at Birmingham City before the break. Reading are still top, but they head to the Vitality having lost three on the spin. Their expected goal stats suggest the current slump is a better indication of their true level and so we think they may struggle again here against a very decent side. We like the look of Bournemouth to win -1 at 15/8.

21st Nov 2020

12:30 - Newcastle United v Chelsea

Chelsea HT/FT @ 5/4

Premier League football is back this weekend, starting with Saturday’s early game at St James’ Park between Newcastle United and Chelsea. The Blues were beginning to hit their stride before the international break, winning four league and cup matches in a row. A slight change in formation has seemingly got the best out of the Blues’ new signings and they are looking good. Chelsea will be hoping to make it three Premier League victories on the spin with three points at St James’ on Saturday.

Steve Bruce’s Magpies have made a steady enough start themselves though, picking up three wins, suffering three defeats and drawing two of eight Premier League matches. Chelsea were sluggish out of the blocks, but Lampard’s men have won three and drawn two of their previous five in the league. The London side are in good shape, and the visitors should return to the capital with all three points. We fancy Chelsea to be winning at half time and full time (5/4).

20th Nov 2020

19:45 - Coventry City v Birmingham City

Birmingham City Win @ 31/20

Mark Robins’ Coventry City and Aitor Karanka’s Birmingham City square off at St Andrew’s in EFL Championship action on Friday night. These two clubs may share the same ground these days, but there will be no love lost on the pitch as both teams look for maximum points from this one. The Blues, who are five points ahead of the Sky Blues in the table, are the favourites.

Coventry were promoted as EFL League One champions last term, but they have had a tough time in the Championship up until now. Robins’ side have won two, drawn two and lost seven. Birmingham have made a slightly better start, though they have picked up just two wins since the opening weekend. This could be a close one at St Andrew’s, but our money is going on a narrow Birmingham win (31/20).

18th Nov 2020

19:45 - Wales v Finland

Wales to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Wales and Finland square off in a vital UEFA Nations League fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday night. The Dragons are top of League B, Group 4 with one match to play, a point ahead of the Finns, who recently sealed qualification for Euro 2020. A draw will see Wales through to League A, but the home side will be looking for all three points in Cardiff in midweek. This promises to be a cracking Nations League fixture between two teams punching well above their weight in football terms right now.

Wales have been incredibly solid in Group B4 so far, with all four of their wins ending 1-0. The Dragons are one of two countries yet to concede a single goal in this season’s Nations League. A clean sheet on Wednesday will see the Welsh promoted to League A and against a side that have hardly been free-scoring, they should manage that. This will no doubt be another close encounter, so our money is going on the hosts to win by one at 13/5, with the 1-0 home win also well worth backing at even longer odds.

18th Nov 2020

19:45 - Rep of Ireland v Bulgaria

Draw & BTTS @ 9/2

Can Republic of Ireland finally win a UEFA Nations League game when they welcome Bulgaria to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Wednesday? With Ireland on two points, while the Bulgarians have taken just one point from a possible 15, Wednesday’s clash in the Irish capital is a huge one for the pair. Who will get the win and avoid relegation to League C?

A point will be enough for Stephen Kenny’s men, but the Republic will be gunning for all three at the Aviva. It has been another disappointing Nations League campaign for the Irish, but avoiding relegation is a must. These two sides drew 1-1 in Sofia in September, with Shane Duffy’s late equaliser giving Ireland a point. Have a punt on the draw and both teams to score on Wednesday at the tasty price of 9/2.

18th Nov 2020

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Romania

Romania Win @ 29/20

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland take on Mirel Radoi’s Romania at Windsor Park on Wednesday in UEFA Nations League action. Norn Iron are bottom of League B, Group 1 and look certain to drop down to League C. It has been a miserable campaign for the Green and White Army, who also lost a UEFA Euro 2020/21 play-off last week.

Since battling to a draw in Bucharest on matchday one back in September, Northern Ireland have lost each of their following four Nations League games. Despite taking a late lead in Vienna last time out, Norn Iron went on to lose 2-1 to group leaders Austria at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion. The Romanians have been far from fantastic, but we can see Radoi’s men leaving Belfast on Wednesday with all three points. The Romanian win is priced at 29/20 and with home confidence in short supply that looks the value call here.

18th Nov 2020

19:45 - England v Iceland

England to Win to Nil @ 4/6

Gareth Southgate’s England welcome Erik Hamren’s Iceland to Wembley Stadium on Wednesday for their final UEFA Nations League fixture of the season. After a 2-0 defeat in Belgium at the weekend, the Three Lions’ hopes of reaching the Nations League finals were ended. However, England will be hoping to finish on a high with three points at home on Wednesday and against the group whipping boys they should deliver, even if the manager tries out some fringe players.

The English have won two, lost two and drawn one of five Group A2 matches. As for the Icelanders, they have lost all five of their fixtures, conceding a whopping 13 goals in the process. England have lost their last two Nations League games, but we fancy Southgate’s troops to end on a positive note at Wembley. Raheem Sterling scored the only goal of the game when the pair met in Reykjavik back in September. Back England to win to nil again at very nice odds of 4/6.

15th Nov 2020

19:45 - Austria v Northern Ireland

Austria to Win to Nil @ 6/5

Ian Baraclough takes his Northern Ireland troops to the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna on Sunday to play Franco Foda’s Austria in UEFA Nations League action. The Austrians have been solid in League B, Group 1 so far, picking up an impressive nine points from a possible 12. In contrast, Norn Iron have taken just one point and look nailed on for relegation to League C.

It has been a tough Nations League campaign for Northern Ireland. After a good 1-1 draw with Romania in Bucharest, Baraclough’s side were beaten 5-1 at home by Norway in game two. 1-0 defeats to Austria and Norway have followed. This will be another stern test for the Green and White Army. Back Foda’s Austria to win to nil again, which is available at the tempting price of 6/5.

15th Nov 2020

19:45 - Belgium v England

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Roberto Martinez’s Belgium and Gareth Southgate’s England meet at Den Dreef in Leuven this Sunday for what could well prove to be a decisive UEFA Nations League fixture. Group A2 is extremely tight at present, with the Belgians top with nine points, and England and Denmark level on seven. After losing at home to the Danes last time out, can the Three Lions get back to winning ways at the weekend?

England came from behind to beat Belgium at Wembley Stadium in the reverse game last month, with Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount getting the goals. However, that remains Belgium’s only defeat of the campaign. Martinez’s men are incredibly hard to beat, and the hosts are the favourites in this one. With just one game left after this, both teams will be looking for maximum points on Sunday. However, we are backing the draw and both teams to score at 10/3, a result which could let Denmark move into the race for top spot.

15th Nov 2020

17:00 - Wales v Republic of Ireland

Wales to Win 1-0 @ 9/2

Wales and Republic of Ireland go head-to-head at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday in a UEFA Nations League fixture. The reverse game in Dublin may have ended in a 0-0 draw, but the Dragons and the Irish have had several ding-dong battles in recent times. With Sunday’s Group B4 showdown taking place in the Welsh capital, Wales are the favourites at evens.

Ryan Giggs’ men have been incredibly solid in this season’s Nations League up until now. After back-to-back 1-0 wins over Finland and Bulgaria, Wales battled to a 0-0 draw with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium a month back. The Dragons then returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Bulgarians at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. You can get the excellent odds of 9/2 for Wales to win 1-0 yet again and in a tight looking game that’s our call here.

15th Nov 2020

14:00 - Slovakia v Scotland

Draw @ 23/10

Steve Clarke’s in-form Scotland continue their UEFA Nations League campaign with a trip to Slovakia on Sunday. The Scots have been excellent so far, winning three and drawing one of their opening four Group B2 fixtures and promotion looks a real possibility. Victory at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium in Trnava at the weekend will seal Scotland’s move to League A of the Nations League.

When these two sides met at Hampden Park a month ago, Scotland secured a narrow victory on home turf. Lyndon Dykes, who has enjoyed a good run in the side of late, scored the only goal of the game. With promotion in sight, the Scots would love all three points from this one ahead of their final matchup against Israel. However, a draw would also be an excellent result for Clarke and his boys. The stalemate is priced at nice odds of 23/10.

12th Nov 2020

20:00 - England v Republic of Ireland

England HT/FT @ 19/20

Gareth Southgate’s England welcome Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland to Wembley Stadium on Thursday evening for an international friendly match. When these two last met, the pair drew 0-0 in a friendly in Dublin over five years ago. Incredibly, each of the last five meetings have ended in draws, while the Three Lions have not beaten the Irish since 1985.

England had been in good form before their shock 1-0 home defeat to Denmark in the UEFA Nations League last time out. That was their first reverse since a 2-1 loss to Czech Republic in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier in October 2019. Kenny has had a tough time since taking over the Irish national team, and Thursday’s fixture in London will be another difficult one for the Boys in Green. England are priced at odds of 19/20 to be winning at half time and full time.

12th Nov 2020

19:45 - Wales v USA

Wales to Win -1 Goal @ 7/2

On Thursday night at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Wales and USA lock horns in an international friendly match that will be a decent test for the home side. This will be the first meeting between the two nations since the States beat the Welsh 2-0 in a friendly in San Jose, California back in May 2003. The Dragons are a different animal these days, though, and the home team are the favourites to get the win in midweek.

Wales have been in good form lately, losing just one game across all competitions in well over a year. Since a disappointing 3-0 loss to rivals England at Wembley Stadium last month, the Welsh have hit back with four points from a possible six in their UEFA Nations League campaign. USA are also in good form, winning four of their past five matches, but we are backing Wales in this one. There is excellent value in the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 7/2.

12th Nov 2020

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Slovakia

Northern Ireland to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland go up against Slovakia at Windsor Park this Thursday for a place at next summer’s UEFA European Championship tournament. These two nations look well matched on paper, with the bookies having a tough time calling a favourite. Norn Iron will be looking to make home advantage count at Windsor Park, though the Slovakians will not be an easy nut to crack by any stretch of the imagination.

Both teams progressed through to the Path B final with penalty shootout semi-final victories. Northern Ireland drew 1-1 with Bosnia-Herzegovina, going on to seal a 4-3 win on spot kicks. Slovakia were held to a 0-0 home draw by Republic of Ireland, although they prevailed 4-2 on penalties in Bratislava. This will surely be another tight affair, with one goal potentially being enough to edge the tie. Home advantage might not mean so much without fans being present, but we’re backing the hosts to win by a one goal margin at odds of 10/3.

12th Nov 2020

19:45 - Serbia v Scotland

Serbia Win & BTTS @ 7/2

Scotland travel to Serbia this Thursday for a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying play-off. The Red Star Stadium in Belgrade is a tough place to visit, and Steve Clarke’s men are certainly the underdogs in this one. However, the Scots have improved of late, winning seven and drawing one of eight since losing 4-0 in Russia over a year ago. Can they cause an upset and book their place in next summer’s Euros or will the Scots stumble in Serbia?

Serbia are in patchy form, but Ljubisa Tumbakovic has several top players in his squad, and the home team will fancy their chances in this Path C final. The Serbians edged past Norway in Oslo in their semi-final, while Scotland beat Israel on penalties at Hampden Park. We can see the away side scoring in Belgrade, but Clarke’s boys could fall short on Thursday. The home win and both teams to score is available at a decent price of 7/2.

9th Nov 2020

19:45 - Oxford City v Northampton

Northampton Town HT/FT @ 13/8

Oxford City and Northampton Town go head-to-head at Marsh Lane on Monday night in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup. City currently ply their trade in the National League South, while the Cobblers were promoted to EFL League One via the EFL League Two play-offs last season. As you would expect, Keith Curle’s men are the big favourites with the bookies, but can Oxford City cause an upset on home soil?

The club from Marston have made a good start to their season, although they were beaten at home by Hampton & Richmond Borough last time out. Northampton have been steady at best in League One, taking 11 points from 11 games. Still, Town are unbeaten in two and should ease into round two of the FA Cup on Monday. There is a clear gulf in class and preparation between the two teams and so ultimately we predict a routine away win. Take a punt on the visitors to be winning at half time and full time at solid looking odds of 13/8.

8th Nov 2020

19:15 - Arsenal v Aston Villa

Arsenal to Win Both Halves @ 7/2

On Sunday night in the Premier League, Mikel Arteta’s in-form Arsenal entertain Dean Smith’s Aston Villa, who head to the Emirates Stadium having lost their last two. The Gunners have won three league and cup games on the spin, winning 1-0 at Manchester United last Sunday. Arsenal should move on to 15 points with a routine home win this weekend.

The London side have had a mixed start to their Premier League campaign, winning four and losing three of seven. Aston Villa won their opening four league matches, though Smith’s men have lost 3-0 and 4-3 in their last two. We fancy the Gunners, who have netted eight goals in their previous three, to secure a comfortable home win. You can get 7/2 for the hosts to win both halves of this one and that price looks more than fair to us.

8th Nov 2020

16:30 - Manchester City v Liverpool

Manchester City to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Premier League heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool do battle at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday. Jurgen Klopp’s men may be the Premier League champions and current league leaders, but Pep Guardiola’s City are the favourites in this one. These two have been involved in several thrilling matches in recent times, and Sunday’s showdown in Manchester promises to be another enthralling encounter.

After six games played, Man City find themselves down in 10th spot in the Premier League table, already five points behind Liverpool, who have played a game more. City cannot afford that gap to extend to eight as we head into the final international break of 2020. Neither side have been at their scintillating best this season, but the pair are in good form, despite both having major issues at the back. Home advantage could be the deciding factor in this one, whilst Pep’s men also have slightly fewer defensive concerns. Back Man City to win by one at nice odds of 3/1.

8th Nov 2020

14:30 - Eastbourne Borough v Blackpool

Blackpool Win & BTTS @ 9/4

The magic of the Emirates FA Cup is back this weekend, and Eastbourne Borough of the National League South will be hoping for an upset when EFL League One Blackpool make the long trip south to Priory Lane in first round action on Sunday. Danny Bloor’s Eastbourne will relish the opportunity, but Neil Critchley’s men are the clear favourites to get the job done in East Sussex.

Borough have started their 2020-21 season in fine fettle, and they have already seen off Sheppey United and Dulwich Hamlet in the FA Cup so far. Blackpool have made an indifferent start to their League One campaign, winning four, losing six and drawing one. We fancy Eastbourne to give the Tangerines a really good game at Priory Lane, but our money is going on the away win. The Blackpool victory and both teams to score is nicely priced at 9/4.

8th Nov 2020

14:00 - Leicester v Wolves

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Midlands duo Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers lock horns in a fascinating Premier League fixture at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Foxes have made an excellent start, winning five of their opening seven to sit second behind leaders Liverpool. Wolves are just two points behind in sixth. Which way will this one go at the King Power?

Leicester have responded expertly well since back-to-back home defeats to West Ham United and Aston Villa, winning each of their last five in all competitions. Wanderers are also in fine fettle, collecting an impressive 10 points from the last 12 on offer in the Premier League. These two are hard to split on paper, and we can see the pair cancelling each other out in Leicester. Check out the draw and both teams to score at really big odds of 7/2.

8th Nov 2020

12:00 - West Brom v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 13/10

West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur square off in Premier League action at The Hawthorns on Sunday. The Baggies are still searching for their first league win of the season, while Spurs are just two points behind leaders Liverpool, with some believing their front three could see them mount a title challenge. Tottenham head to the Midlands looking for a fifth victory in six league and cup matches.

After winning promotion from the EFL Championship, life back in the Premier League has been tough for West Brom so far. Slaven Bilic’s boys have drawn three and lost four of their opening seven, conceding 16 goals along the way. In contrast, Tottenham are unbeaten in six league games since losing to Everton on the opening weekend. We fancy Jose Mourinho’s men to secure a comfortable victory at The Hawthorns. Back the visitors to win -1 at 13/10.

7th Nov 2020

20:00 - West Ham United v Fulham

West Ham United to Win -1 Goal @ 21/10

David Moyes’ West Ham United and Scott Parker’s Fulham clash in an all-London Premier League affair at the London Stadium on Saturday night. The Hammers have been in good form of late, with last weekend’s narrow loss at Liverpool being their first defeat in five games in the league. As for the Cottagers, last Monday’s victory over West Bromwich Albion was their first Premier League win of the season.

West Ham have had some tricky games of late, playing Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool in their last three, drawing two and losing one. The Irons have been excellent at home in recent fixtures, winning three and drawing one of their last four matches in all competitions. Fulham may have secured a rare victory last time out, but we are backing West Ham in this one. The home win with a -1 goal handicap is priced at odds of 21/10.

7th Nov 2020

17:30 - FC United of Manchester v Doncaster

FC United of Manchester Win & BTTS @ 16/1

Neil Reynolds’ FC United of Manchester of the Northern Premier League welcome EFL League One side Doncaster Rovers to Broadhurst Park for an Emirates FA Cup first round fixture on Saturday evening. Darren Moore’s Donny are sitting pretty in ninth place in England’s third tier at present, but this will no doubt be a tricky cup tie in Manchester for the Yorkshire club.

Since moving into their new home in 2015, FC United have been a tough nut to crack on their own patch. The Manchester club have been beaten just once at home so far this season. Of course, League One Doncaster are the clear favourites, but we can see Reynolds’ boys causing a big FA Cup upset on Saturday. Back the home win and both teams to score at chunking odds of 16/1.

7th Nov 2020

17:30 - Chelsea v Sheffield United

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 13/10

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea welcome Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United to Stamford Bridge in Premier League action this Saturday. The Blades are one of three clubs yet to taste victory, while the Blues are in seventh spot with 12 points to their name. United will be desperate for a positive result at the Bridge, but Wilder’s boys are the big underdogs in this one.

Since losing to Tottenham Hotspur on penalties in a Carabao Cup game back in September, Chelsea are undefeated in seven league and cup matches. After three draws, the London side have now won three in a row without conceding. In truth, Lampard’s boys should have no problems seeing off the lowly Blades in this one. Chelsea’s last five victories have come with clean sheets and we can see them achieving that feat again. Back the hosts to win to nil on Saturday at odds of 13/10.

7th Nov 2020

12:30 - Reading v Stoke City

Reading to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

EFL Championship leaders Reading entertain Stoke City at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Despite losing two in a row, the Royals remain top of the Championship table, three points clear of Swansea City in second. Can Veljko Paunovic’s men get back to winning ways on home soil at the weekend?

Reading started their season like a house on fire, winning seven and drawing one of their opening eight. However, it has been a disastrous week for the Berkshire club, who have lost to Coventry City and Preston North End. Michael O’Neill’s Potters conceded at the death to fall to a 3-2 defeat at Watford last time out, and we can see Stoke losing by a narrow margin again. Check out the decent odds of 10/3 for the home side to win by a one goal margin.

7th Nov 2020

12:30 - Everton v Manchester United

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Everton and Manchester United lock horns at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime. The Toffees have failed to win any of their last three since winning their opening seven league and cup matches of the season. As for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United, they have lost to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir in their last two games and can’t find any level of consistency.

Everton’s dip in form has seen them drop from the top of the Premier League table down to fourth place. The Red Devils, meanwhile, have made a miserable start, losing three of their opening six games. Ahead of this round of fixtures, Man United are languishing in 15th place in the table with just seven points to their name. Both teams will be desperate for maximum points from this one, but we fancy the draw and both teams to score at Goodison at odds of 10/3.

6th Nov 2020

20:00 - Southampton v Newcastle

Southampton HF/FT @ 2/1

Southampton have made a superb start to their 2020-21 Premier League season, racking up an impressive 13 points from seven matches. After four wins and a draw from their last five, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Saints will be looking for another victory when Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United visit St Mary’s on Friday night. Will Southampton move on to 16 points and shoot up to the top of the table (albeit temporarily)?

Hasenhuttl’s side started the season with back-to-back defeats to Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. However, the Saints have been scintillating since, seeing off Burnley, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Aston Villa. The Magpies picked up an excellent win over the Toffees last time out, but we fancy in-form Southampton in this one. Take a look at the tempting odds of 2/1 for the home side to be winning at half time and full time on Friday night.

6th Nov 2020

19:45 - Harrogate v Skelmersdale United

Harrogate United to Win to Nil @ 11/10

EFL League Two new boys Harrogate Town welcome North West Countries League outfit Skelmersdale United to Wetherby Road this Friday night in the first round of the 2020-21 Emirates FA Cup. Since four league and cup wins in a row, Town head into this cup clash having taken just one point from four league games. Can they get back to winning ways in the FA Cup?

Skelmersdale will certainly enjoy the occasion against the Football League club, but Harrogate will be looking for a comfortable home win in the cup on Friday night. The Sulphurites have picked up five wins across all competitions this season, with three of those coming with clean sheets. With that in mind, have a punt on the home team to win this one to nil at odds of 11/10.

6th Nov 2020

18:00 - Cardiff City v Bristol City

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Severnside rivals Cardiff City and Bristol City lock horns at the Cardiff City Stadium in the EFL Championship on Friday evening. Both teams picked up much-needed wins in midweek, with the Bluebirds winning at home for the first time this season, while the Robins secured their first victory in six games. It is usually a spicy encounter when these two neighbours lock horns, but who will come out on top in this one?

Neil Harris’s Cardiff eased past Barnsley on home soil in midweek, which was their first home win since July. Before Bristol City’s 2-1 victory at the John Smith’s Stadium on Tuesday, Dean Holden’s Robins had lost three and drawn two of their last five games. Both fixtures last season ended in 1-0 wins for the away sides, and this will surely be another tight affair between the pair. With both sides capable of finding a breakthrough, we’re backing the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.

6th Nov 2020

17:30 - Brighton v Burnley

Brighton & Hove Albion Win @ 17/20

Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion and Sean Dyche’s Burnley meet in Premier League action at the Amex Stadium this Friday night evening. The Clarets find themselves rock bottom of the Premier League table at present, having lost five and drawn one of their opening six matches. Brighton have also struggled, meanwhile, with the Seagulls picking up one victory, drawing twice and losing four times. This is a huge game for both clubs and even at this early stage of the campaign it could be viewed as a relegation six-pointer.

Since an impressive 3-0 win at Newcastle United on matchday two, Brighton have taken just two points from the following five games. Burnley have struggled to get going, with their sole point coming in a 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. Neither side are playing well, but we fancy Albion to nick the points on home soil. The Brighton victory is priced at decent enough odds of 17/20.

5th Nov 2020

20:00 - Celtic v Sparta Prague

Celtic to Win to Nil @ 8/5

Celtic and Sparta Prague meet at Celtic Park in UEFA Europa League action this Thursday. Having taken just one point from their opening two fixtures, Neil Lennon’s Bhoys really need all three points from this home fixture. AC Milan lead the way in Group H on six points, with Lille in second with four points to their name. Celtic have one point to their name thus far, while Prague have zero points from their two games.

The Scottish champions were 2-0 up at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy last Thursday, but they shipped two goals in the second half to leave Lille with a 2-2 draw. Sparta have already conceded seven goals in Group H, and Vaclav Kotal’s boys are likely to fall to a third Europa League defeat on Thursday. Celtic’s last five wins have come with clean sheets – back the Hoops to win to nil at odds of 8/5.

5th Nov 2020

20:00 - Leicester City v Braga

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City welcome Carlos Carvalhal’s Braga to the King Power Stadium for a UEFA Europa League fixture on Thursday night. The Foxes are back in form having won each of their last four league and cup matches since back-to-back Premier League defeats. Last time out, Leicester thumped Leeds United 4-1 at Elland Road in the league. Will City make it five wins on the bounce in the week?

Leicester and Braga have both beaten Zorya Luhansk and AEK Athens to take six points from a possible six in Group G. These two sides will surely go through to the knockout stages, but who will finish top of the group? With this one taking place at the King Power, Leicester should have the slight edge. You can get the tempting price of 13/5 for Rodgers’ boys to win by one.

5th Nov 2020

20:00 - Arsenal v Molde

Arsenal HT/FT @ 4/5

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal would take a giant leap towards the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League with victory over Molde at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday. The Gunners and the Norwegian side have both picked up six points out of six in Group B so far. However, Arsenal head into this home match as the big favourites to get the win and take control of the group.

After edging past Rapid Vienna on matchday one, Arsenal were far too strong for Irish side Dundalk at the Emirates last week. Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock and Nicolas Pepe scored in a routine 3-0 home win. The north Londoners, who won 1-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League last Sunday, will fancy their chances against Molde this Thursday. Take a punt on Arsenal to be winning at half time and full time at a fair price of 4/5.

5th Nov 2020

17:55 - Benfica v Rangers

Rangers Win & BTTS @ 13/2

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers are one of the form sides of European football at the moment. The Scottish Premiership giants have made a stunning start to their 2020-21 campaign, winning 16 and drawing two of their opening 18 league and cup matches. Can Rangers secure a 10th victory in a row when they take on Benfica at the Estadio da Luz in UEFA Europa League Group D action this Thursday?

The Glasgow giants have picked up six points thus far, beating Standard Liege 2-0 and Lech Poznan 1-0. Jorge Jesus’s Eagles have also won their opening two fixtures, scoring seven and shipping two. This will arguably be the Gers’ toughest challenge of the season yet, but we fancy Gerrard’s boys to get the three points in Lisbon. The away victory and both teams to score is available at a tempting price of 13/2.

5th Nov 2020

17:55 - Ludogorets Razgrad v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 10/11

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur travel to Bulgaria this week to take on Ludogorets Razgrad in a UEFA Europa League Group J fixture that the north London side could really do with winning. After defeat in Antwerp last Thursday, Spurs will be gunning for all three points at the Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad, but it might not be easy. Antwerp sit top of the group as things stand, with Tottenham and LASK joint second with three points each. Ludogorets are bottom having lost both matches so far, but they have the ability to raise their game on occasion.

Spurs kicked off their European campaign with an impressive 3-0 home victory over LASK. However, they were beaten 1-0 by Antwerp at Bosuilstadion last Thursday, leaving them on three points from a possible six. Tottenham are flying in the Premier League at present, and the London side should get back on track in Europe with a comfortable win on the road on Thursday. We’ll be backing the Lilywhites to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 10/11.

4th Nov 2020

20:00 - Chelsea v Rennes

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 5/4

Chelsea are back in UEFA Champions League action in midweek, taking on French Ligue 1 side Rennes at Stamford Bridge in Group E. The Blues moved to the top of the group with a stunning 4-0 win at the Krasnodar Stadium last week. Will the Premier League outfit make it seven points from nine with victory over Julien Stephan’s side on Wednesday?

After a frustrating 0-0 home draw with Sevilla, Chelsea were outstanding in Russia last time out in Group E, walloping Krasnodar 4-0 thanks to goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic. Rennes started with a 1-1 home draw with Krasnodar before losing 1-0 in Seville last week. Chelsea have kept two clean sheets so far and Lampard’s men should stop Rennes from scoring at the Bridge. The Blues are priced at odds 5/4 to win to nil, which looks a good bet to us.

4th Nov 2020

19:45 - Derby County v QPR

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

At Pride Park on Wednesday night, Phillip Cocu’s Derby County host Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Championship. The Rams have picked up just one win this term, but County go into this midweek fixture unbeaten in three (all draws). As for QPR, they secured a stunning 3-2 win over Cardiff City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday.

Derby have been poor so far, losing five of their opening nine games. Having said that, Cocu’s men have been hard to beat in recent games. Last Saturday’s stalemate at Bournemouth was Derby’s third straight 1-1 draw. Before their dramatic win over Cardiff last time out, Rangers had not won since beating Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend of the season. QPR have drawn four times in the Championship this season, and we can see the London side leaving Pride Park with a point. Back the draw and both teams to score at odds of 10/3.

4th Nov 2020

17:55 - Istanbul Basaksehir v Manchester Utd

Manchester United to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

Manchester United make the trip to Istanbul for a European fixture on Wednesday night. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys have been excellent in UEFA Champions League Group H so far, but can they get all three points against Okan Buruk’s Istanbul Basaksehir at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium on Wednesday night? The Red Devils head to Turkey as the strong favourites to get the win but many a side have stumbled in Turkey in this competition.

Basaksehir have found it tough going in Group H so far, losing both their matches without scoring a single goal. United may have lost to Arsenal at home in the Premier League on Sunday, but they thumped RB Leipzig 5-0 at Old Trafford in the Champions League last Wednesday. Prior to that, Ole’s boys beat Paris Saint-Germain in Paris, which was an exceptional result. We fancy Man United will get the job done here and we’re willing to back them to win with a -1 goal handicap in midweek, which is available at a price of evens.

3rd Nov 2020

20:00 - Atalanta v Liverpool

Liverpool Win @ 11/10

Jurgen Klopp takes his Liverpool side to Italy on Tuesday night to play Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in UEFA Champions League action. The Reds have not been at their blistering best this season, but Klopp’s boys will move on to nine points from a possible nine in Group D with victory in Bergamo in midweek. We think Liverpool will get the job done, but it might not be a walkover.

Atalanta, who had a memorable Champions League campaign last season, have taken four points from their opening two fixtures. After a thumping 4-0 win over Midtjylland in Denmark, the Italians drew 2-2 at home with Ajax in their second game. Liverpool, meanwhile, have beaten Ajax 1-0 and Midtjylland 2-0. We can see the Premier League champions moving on to nine points with an away win in Italy on Tuesday night at a decent price of 11/10.

3rd Nov 2020

20:00 - Manchester City v Olympiakos

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 11/10

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City welcome Pedro Martins’ Olympiakos to the Etihad Stadium this Tuesday in a UEFA Champions League Group C fixture. City are leading the way at the top of the group table, picking up six points out of six so far. In truth, the Premier League giants should be too strong for the Greek outfit in this one, but Pep will be taking nothing for granted in a season that has thrown up plenty of surprises thus far.

Man City came from behind to beat Porto at the Etihad in their opening Champions League game, which they followed up with an impressive 3-0 victory over Marseille at the Stade Velodrome in their last European outing. Olympiakos beat Marseille before losing 2-0 to Porto in Portugal last week. We fancy City to pick up all three points and keep a clean sheet on their own patch. You can get Man City to win to nil at odds of 11/10, which looks a fair price to us.

3rd Nov 2020

19:45 - Cardiff City v Barnsley

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

Neil Harris’s Cardiff City entertain Valerien Ismael’s Barnsley at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night in EFL Championship action. Having picked up just two league wins thus far, the Bluebirds could really do with maximum points on home soil in midweek. However, City have yet to win at home this season. This promises to be an intriguing Championship battle in South Wales, and one which could go either way.

On the whole, Cardiff have been poor up until now, winning two, drawing four and losing three of their nine league matches. The Tykes have an identical record, but they have won their last two under new boss Ismael. Last time out, Barnsley shocked Watford with a 1-0 win at Oakwell. We can see the Yorkshire side leaving South Wales with a point on Tuesday. Cardiff’s last two games at home have ended 1-1, and we’re backing the 1-1 draw again in this one at a tempting price of 11/2.

3rd Nov 2020

19:45 - Blackburn Rovers v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough Win & BTTS @ 11/2

Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers entertain Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough at Ewood Park on Tuesday night in EFL Championship action. Rovers are in 14th place in the table after an indifferent start to the campaign, while Boro are riding high in fifth spot. Middlesbrough are unbeaten in eight games since losing at Watford on the opening weekend of the season. Will Warnock’s men extend that run with a positive result on the road in midweek?

Blackburn have been in poor form of late, losing four of their past five matches. In contrast, Middlesbrough have been superb in recent games, winning four and drawing two of their previous six in the Championship. After two home wins, can Boro pick up all three points on the road in midweek? We like the look of the visitors to win and both teams to score in what should be an open game. As such, we’ll be backing that outcome at odds of 11/2.

2nd Nov 2020

20:00 - Leeds United v Leicester City

Leeds United to Win by One Goal @ 15/4

While Fulham and West Bromwich Albion have struggled, Premier League new boys Leeds United have flourished in the top flight so far. On Monday night, Marcelo Bielsa’s boys will be looking for another positive result when Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City visit Elland Road. At the time of writing, United sit sixth and the Foxes are fourth. This promises to be an entertaining Premier League fixture in West Yorkshire and one that should be close.

Leeds have been extremely competitive so far this season, beating Fulham, Sheffield United and Aston Villa. They also held Manchester City to a draw at Elland Road and pushed Liverpool all the way at Anfield. Leicester have blown hot and cold, winning four and losing two. This is a tough one to call between two in-form teams, but we fancy Bielsa’s boys to get a narrow win on home turf. Back United to win by one at 15/4.

2nd Nov 2020

17:30 - Fulham v West Bromwich Albion

Draw & Under 2.5 Goals @ 11/4

Fulham have struggled to get going in the Premier League since gaining promotion via the EFL Championship play-offs. Scott Parker’s boys sit bottom, picking up just one point thus far and not really deserving all that much more. West Bromwich Albion, who were also promoted from the second tier, have not fared much better, drawing three and losing three of their opening six. It is still early days, of course, but this one at Craven Cottage already feels like a relegation six-pointer and both sides will be desperate to get a first win of the season on the board.

Fulham have lost five of their opening six Premier League matches, drawing the other one with fellow strugglers Sheffield United. As for Slaven Bilic’s Baggies, their three points have come in draws with Chelsea, Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion. These two are evenly matched on paper, and we can see the pair playing out a tense draw at the Cottage on Monday. The draw and under 2.5 goals is priced at nice looking odds of 11/4.

1st Nov 2020

19:15 - Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion

Tottenham Hotspur to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur and Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion go head-to-head at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday night. Spurs were beaten in the UEFA Europa League in midweek, but the London side have not tasted defeat in the Premier League since losing to Everton on the opening weekend. Tottenham are the clear favourites in this one.

Mourinho’s men have made a steady start to their league campaign, taking 11 points from a possible 18 and in a strange season some are suggesting their front three could fire them to the title. Spurs sit just two points behind joint leaders Everton and Liverpool. Brighton have picked up one win so far, drawing two and losing three of the other five. The Seagulls caused Tottenham plenty of problems last season, but the home side should edge this one. Spurs’ last three wins over Albion have been by a single goal so back the hosts to win by one again on Sunday at the nice price of 11/4.

1st Nov 2020

16:30 - Manchester United v Arsenal

Manchester United to Win 1-0 @ 9/1

Old foes Manchester United and Arsenal lock horns in Premier League action this Sunday. After winning just two of their opening five, the Red Devils find themselves down in 15th place in the current table. As for the Gunners, they are not doing too much better and have already lost three of their opening six Premier League matches. This is a huge fixture for both clubs, but who will come out on top at Old Trafford?

Despite their poor league position, Man Utd have been in good form since that 6-1 battering by Tottenham Hotspur. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have won three of their last four, including two excellent UEFA Champions League victories against Paris Saint-Germain (away) and RB Leipzig (5-0). Since a narrow win over Sheffield United, Arsenal have lost their last two league games, losing 1-0 to both Manchester City and Leicester City. You can get the 1-0 Man Utd win this weekend at huge and good value odds of 9/1.

1st Nov 2020

14:00 - Newcastle United v Everton

Everton Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Premier League leaders Everton make the trip to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United this Sunday. The Toffees were beaten for the first the first time this season last weekend, losing 2-0 to Southampton at St Mary’s. Carlo Ancelotti’s troops will be eager to get back to winning ways at the first time of asking. Everton are the favourites in this one and we think they will deliver the goods.

Steve Bruce’s Magpies have had a mixed bag of results so far, winning two, drawing two and losing two of six. In their last outing, United picked up a handy 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. Everton won their opening four, though they head to St James’ having taken just one point from the last six on offer. We fancy the Toffees to strike back with a big three points on Sunday. The Everton win and both teams to score is priced at very nice odds of 11/4.

1st Nov 2020

12:00 - Aston Villa v Southampton

Southampton Win @ 9/5

With the chance to go top had they won, Aston Villa were brought back down to earth with a heavy 3-0 home loss to Leeds United last time out. Prior to that, the Villans had won their opening four in the Premier League, including a memorable 7-2 victory over champions Liverpool. This Sunday, Dean Smith’s men entertain Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton at Villa Park. The Saints have taken 10 points from their last four games and beat league pacesetters Everton in good style last time out.

Aston Villa shocked many with their stunning start, but last Friday’s disappointing 3-0 home reverse to Leeds was a poor result for the Midlands club. Since losing their opening two, the Saints’ season has taken off, winning three and drawing one of their following four. Southampton have travelled extremely well under Hasenhuttl, and we can see the Hampshire club leaving the Midlands on Sunday with all three points (9/5).

31st Oct 2020

17:30 - Liverpool v West Ham United

Liverpool to Win & Over 4.5 Goal @ 16/5

Champions Liverpool welcome in-form West Ham United to Anfield this Saturday for an intriguing Premier League fixture. The Reds have won three and drawn one of their last four league and cup matches since that shocking 7-2 reverse at Villa Park. The Hammers are unbeaten in four in the league, winning two and drawing two and playing some really nice football at times.

After thumping victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City, West Ham have held Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City to draws in their last two so they certainly know they can mix it with the best sides in the division. The London outfit will no doubt give Liverpool a good game at Anfield this weekend, but the Reds’ qualities should shine through in the end. In the last fixture between the pair, Liverpool edged a five-goal thriller on home turf. Given the mounting defensive problems the hosts have we recommend you take a punt on the home win and over 4.5 goals at big odds of 16/5.

31st Oct 2020

15:00 - Burnley v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Sean Dyche’s Burnley entertain Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Turf Moor in Premier League action on Saturday. The Clarets have had a tough start, failing to win any of their opening five in the Premier League. As for Chelsea, they may have been beaten just once, but the Blues have drawn three of their previous four league fixtures. They got an excellent result in midweek though so will be feeling confident here despite the lack of preparation time. Will the Londoners prevail in Lancashire this weekend?

Burnley have taken just one point from five, drawing with West Bromwich Albion and losing to Leicester City, Southampton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur. Last Monday, Dyche’s boys fought hard but fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Spurs. We can see something similar happening to the Clarets in this one. Check out the decent odds of 13/5 for Chelsea to win by exactly one goal at Turf Moor.

31st Oct 2020

12:30 - Sheffield United v Manchester City

Manchester City HT/FT @ 12:30

Pep Guardiola’s takes his Manchester City troops to Bramall Lane this Saturday afternoon to play Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United in the Premier League. City have not been at their best this season, but they did secure an impressive UEFA Champions league victory in Marseille in midweek. Will the Citizens be too strong for the struggling Blades at the weekend or will we see another strange result in this strangest of seasons?

Sheffield United have lost five of their opening six in this season’s Premier League, picking up just one point from a possible 18. Man City have played five league games, winning two, drawing two and losing one. After dropping points in three of their last four, Pep’s boys will be on the lookout for a comfortable away win on Saturday. Back City to be winning at half time and full time at Bramall Lane at very fair odds of 10/11.

31st Oct 2020

12:30 - Bristol City v Norwich City

Norwich City to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Bristol City and Norwich City square off at Ashton Gate this Saturday in EFL Championship action. Having won their opening four league games, the Robins head into this one without a win in four, drawing two and losing two. In contrast, the Canaries are unbeaten in four, picking up three victories and a draw. Those contrasting fortunes have yielded identical points and the duo sit seventh and sixth on 14 points.

Dean Holden’s Bristol City started the season like a house on fire, seeing off Coventry City, Stoke City, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest in successive matches. However, since returning from the international break, the Robins have taken just two points from a possible 12. Norwich are beginning to find their feet, and we fancy Daniel Farke’s men to leave Bristol with maximum points. All four of their wins have been by one goal so back Norwich to win by one yet again on Saturday at the excellent price of 3/1.

30th Oct 2020

20:00 - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Crystal Palace

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace to Molineux this Friday night for a Premier League fixture. Since losing three league and cup matches in a row, Wolves are unbeaten in three, winning two and drawing one. However, after dropping points at home to Newcastle United last time out, Nuno’s boys will want to return to winning ways on Friday.

The Eagles have had a patchy start, but they did secure a big three points against Fulham at Craven Cottage in their last outing. That was Palace’s first victory since winning at Old Trafford in September. Despite their decent form, Wolves’ season has yet to really take off. Still, we fancy them to pick up a routine home win on Friday night despite the good away record the Eagles can boast. Wanderers’ three wins this term have come with clean sheets so against low scoring opponents, back Wolves to win to nil at 15/8.

30th Oct 2020

19:45 - Coventry City v Reading

Reading HT/FT @ 10/3

Surprising many, Reading have looked the real deal in the EFL Championship this season, dropping just two points up until now. Veljko Paunovic has hit the ground running at the Madejski Stadium, guiding the Royals to seven wins and a draw from eight league fixtures. After winning 4-2 at Blackburn Rovers in midweek, Reading will be looking for another three points when they take on Coventry City at St Andrew’s on Friday night.

In real contrast to their opposition, Mark Robins’ Sky Blues have found Championship life tough going so far. Since beating Queens Park Rangers on matchday two, Coventry have taken just two points from a possible 18. Unfortunately for City, we can see them falling to a third straight defeat on Friday. We like the look of odds of 10/3 for the league leaders to be winning at half time and full time in the Midlands.

29th Oct 2020

20:00 - Arsenal v Dundalk

Arsenal HT/FT @ 2/7

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal welcome Filippo Giovagnoli’s Dundalk to the Emirates Stadium this Thursday for a UEFA Europa League Group B matchup. The Gunners will be desperate to hit back with three points in Europe after a disappointing home defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League last weekend. Will Arsenal be too strong for the League of Ireland Premier Division team? We have to think they will, even if Arteta rests many of his best players.

Arteta’s troops came from behind to win their Europa League opener last week. Goals from David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were enough to give the London side a 2-1 win over Rapid Vienna in Austria. As for Dundalk, they let a lead slip to lose 2-1 to Norwegian side Molde in Dublin. In truth, Arsenal should cruise past the Irish side at the Emirates. Back the hosts to be winning at half time and full time (2/7), a great option for your midweek accas.

29th Oct 2020

20:00 - Rangers v Lech Poznan

Rangers Win @ 4/7

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have made a stunning start to their 2020-21 season. The Gers will be looking for another win when they entertain Polish side Lech Poznan at Ibrox this Thursday night for a UEFA Europa League Group D encounter. The Scottish Premiership leaders started the group with a superb 2-0 win at Standard Liege. Can the Teddy Bears move on to six points in midweek as they continue their great form both in Scotland and Europe?

Lech Poznan were on the wrong end of a six-goal thriller against Benfica at the Stadion Miejski last Thursday, falling to a 4-2 defeat. The Gers won 2-0 on the road, with goals from James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe doing the business in Liege including a stunning run and strike from inside his own half. Rangers have been in spectacular form this season, winning 14 and drawing two of 16 league and cup matches and we fancy the Glasgow giants to win again in midweek (4/7).

29th Oct 2020

17:55 - Lille v Celtic

Lille to Win -1 @ 13/8

After eight successive league and cup victories, Neil Lennon’s Celtic are without a win in three (two defeats, one draw). That unwanted run could stretch to four, as the Hoops take on Christopher Galtier’s Lille at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in a tough UEFA Europa League Group H fixture on Thursday night. The French side are top after a thumping 4-1 win at Sparta Prague in their opener and should claim another win against the out of sorts Hoops.

The Bhoys kicked off Group H with a 3-1 loss to AC Milan at Celtic Park. After losing to rivals Rangers in the Premiership, Celtic dropped points again last weekend, drawing 3-3 at Aberdeen. Lille were excellent in Prague last Thursday, and Galtier’s troops should ease past the Scottish side at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Have a punt on the home team to win -1 at the decent odds of 13/8.

29th Oct 2020

17:55 - AEK Athens v Leicester City

Leicester City to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City are in Greece on Thursday, as the Foxes play AEK Athens at the Olympic Stadium in a UEFA Europa League Group G game. Leicester are top after easing past Zorya Luhansk at the King Power Stadium last Thursday. City followed that up with an excellent win at Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday. Can Rodgers’ boys make it three wins on the spin?

Massimo Carrera’s AEK Athens could struggle in the group. The Greek side were easily beaten on matchday one, losing 3-0 to Braga at the Estadio Municipal. Goals from James Maddison, Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho gave Leicester a 3-0 home win over Zorya. We can see a similar outcome in Athens this week. There is good value in the away team to win to nil at 15/8.

29th Oct 2020

17:55 - Antwerp v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 @ 13/10

Jose Mourinho takes his Tottenham Hotspur troops to Belgium this Thursday to play Antwerp in UEFA Europa League Group J action. Spurs, who are one of the tournament favourites, kicked off their Europa League group campaign with a comfortable home win over LASK last week, while Antwerp won away at Ludogorets Razgrad. These were always likely to be the two battling it out for top spot so this game could well prove crucial.

Despite a couple of dodgy results here and there, Tottenham have looked good so far this term. Mourinho’s men were far too strong for LASK at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, with an own goal and strikes from Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son giving the Lilywhites an easy 3-0 victory. Antwerp won on the road in their opener, but Spurs should come out on top at the Huvepharma Arena on Thursday. You can get Tottenham to win -1 at 13/10 and even with a changed XI they should have too much.

28th Oct 2020

20:00 - Manchester United v RB Leipzig

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United entertain Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig in a tasty UEFA Champions League Group H fixture at Old Trafford on Wednesday night. The Red Devils picked up a stunning away win at Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener. Can the three-time winners of this competition move on to six points with a home victory in midweek?

Since that shock 6-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur before the international break, United have hit back with two wins and a draw. In fact, the Red Devils have won five of their last seven across all competitions. Leipzig are a solid side under Nagelsmann, who may be interviewing for the Man City job with this game if you believe the papers, but United will fancy their chances of making home advantage count, even if there are no fans roaring them on. Red Bull are an attacking side though and we can see the visitors netting in Manchester, so take a punt on the home win and both sides to score at really nice odds of 3/1.

28th Oct 2020

20:00 - Krasnodar v Chelsea

Chelsea Win & Under 2.5 Goals @ 13/5

Chelsea continue their UEFA Champions League campaign with a trip to Russia to play Krasnodar at the Krasnodar Stadium on Wednesday night. With both matchday one fixtures ending in draws, all four sides in Group E are on one point. The Blues drew at home with Sevilla in their opener, but can Frank Lampard’s men pick up an invaluable three points on the road in midweek to take charge of the group?

Murad Musayev’s Krasnodar, who finished third in the Russian Premier League last term, have won just one of their last four across all competitions, losing 3-1 at home to Spartak Moscow in the league last time out. Chelsea are not in great shape either to be fair and have drawn three in a row since thumping Crystal Palace. Even so, the Londoners should edge past the Russian outfit on Wednesday. The away win and under 2.5 goals is available at 13/5 and that looks too big to us.

28th Oct 2020

19:45 - Rotherham United v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Two South Yorkshire sides go head-to-head at the New York Stadium in the EFL Championship on Wednesday night, as Paul Warne’s Rotherham United host Garry Monk’s Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls remain bottom of the table on -4 points, having started on -12, while the Millers are currently in 18th spot with six points to their name. This is a massive game for both clubs with pride and points to play for.

Rotherham have struggled this season, failing to win since edging past Wycombe Wanderers on the opening weekend. Wednesday have suffered back-to-back home defeats, but Monk’s men have taken six points from a possible nine on the road. This could be close on the scoreline at the New York Stadium, but our money is going on the Sheffield Wednesday win. Back the visitors to prevail by exactly one goal at 11/4.

28th Oct 2020

19:45 - Derby County v Cardiff City

Cardiff City to Win to Nil @ 3/1

With Derby County losing five of their opening seven EFL Championship matches, the pressure is starting to mount on Dutch boss Phillip Cocu. The Rams were expected to mount a promotion push this term but nothing has gone right for them. This Wednesday night, Cocu’s troops welcome Neil Harris’ Cardiff City to Pride Park. The Bluebirds have taken seven points from a possible nine on the road. Can the Welsh side pile more misery on County in this one or can Derby finally get their season started?

It has been a woeful campaign for Cocu and his Derby side so far. The Rams have won one, drawn one and lost five, taking a mere four points from a possible 21. Cardiff have had a patchy start, but Harris’ boys are a tough nut to crack on the road. Cardiff have won two and drawn one of three away matches, keeping three clean sheets to boot. Put some money on City to win to nil in midweek at 3/1.

28th Oct 2020

19:45 - Bournemouth v Bristol City

1-1 Draw @ 6/1

Bournemouth and Bristol City meet in a fascinating EFL Championship fixture at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night. The Cherries are unbeaten in the league so far, winning three and drawing four of seven, while the Robins sit second in the table with 13 points to their name. Both sides will be gunning for all three points from this top of the table clash.

Jason Tindall has made a good start to his managerial career at the Vitality, guiding Bournemouth to 13 points from seven games. Dean Holden has also hit the ground running, with Bristol City winning four of their opening fixtures. The Cherries have drawn three in a row, and we can see the away team battling to a draw at the Vitality in midweek. Bournemouth’s last two have ended 1-1, and a repeat scoreline on Wednesday is available at big odds of 6/1.

27th Oct 2020

20:00 - Liverpool v Midtjylland

Liverpool to Win by 3 or More @ 10/11

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are back in UEFA Champions League Group D action on Tuesday night. Danish side Midtjylland, who were thumped 4-0 at home by Atalanta in their opener, make the trip to Anfield. As you would expect, the Premier League champions are the overwhelming favourites to get the win on home soil, with the bookies pricing them at just 1/9.

Liverpool edged a tight and tense encounter against Erik ten Hag’s Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena last Wednesday, with an own goal settling the game in the Reds’ favour. Things should be far more straightforward for Klopp’s boys at Anfield in midweek. We fancy the Merseyside heavyweights to claim a big Champions League home victory. You can get 10/11 for the hosts to win by three or more goals.

27th Oct 2020

20:00 - Marseille v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -1 @ Evens

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City troops to the Stade Velodrome in France in midweek to play Andre Villas-Boas’ Marseille in UEFA Champions League Group C action. Les Olympians started their European campaign with a narrow loss to Olympiacos, while City secured a comfortable home win over Porto. Can the Premier League club move on to six points with victory in France on Tuesday?

Man City fell behind early on against Portuguese outfit Porto at the Etihad Stadium last week, but goals from Sergio Aguero, Ilkay Gundogan and Ferran Torres turned the game on its head to give the Citizens a routine home win. The Manchester giants have not been at their best this term, but they should cruise past Marseille in midweek. Take a punt on City to win -1 at evens.

27th Oct 2020

19:45 - Wycombe Wanderers v Watford

Watford HT/FT @ 13/10

Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe Wanderers welcome Vladimir Ivic’s Watford to Adams Park this Tuesday for an EFL Championship fixture. The Chairboys have yet to take a single point in this season’s Championship, while the Hornets have picked up 14 and sit joint second in the table. Will Watford claim a comfortable win in Buckinghamshire in midweek?

Since winning promotion via the EFL League One play-offs, Wycombe have had a miserable time in the second tier. Wanderers have lost all seven of their Championship games, scoring two and conceding 15. Last weekend, they shipped late to lose 2-1 at Norwich City. Ivic has started life at Vicarage Road in fine fettle, guiding the Hornets to four wins from seven in the league. This should be a walk in the park for Watford. We like the look of the away team to be winning at half time and full time at 13/10.

27th Oct 2020

19:45 - Swansea City v Stoke City

Stoke City Win @ 21/10

Steve Cooper’s Swansea City and Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City clash at the Liberty Stadium in South Wales on Tuesday night in the EFL Championship. After going three games without a win, the Swans will be desperate for all three points on home turf in midweek. However, they are coming up against a Potters outfit who are unbeaten in seven league and cup games.

It has been a tough week on the road for Swansea. After a 1-1 draw at Coventry City, City battled to another 1-1 stalemate against Bristol City at Ashton Gate last Saturday. In contrast, Stoke picked up an excellent win against Brentford at the bet365 Stadium last time out, with Steven Fletcher, James McClean and Tyrese Campbell netting in a 3-2 victory over the Bees. We can see in-form Stoke winning again in midweek (21/10).

27th Oct 2020

19:45 - Brentford v Norwich City

Norwich City Win & BTTS @ 13/2

Thomas Frank’s Brentford and Daniel Farke’s Norwich City go head-to-head in a tasty EFL Championship encounter at the Brentford Community Stadium on Tuesday night. The Canaries have found their feet after a slow start, winning each of their last three. As for the Bees, they will want to bounce back from defeat to Stoke City last time out.

After back-to-back wins, Brentford’s 3-2 reverse at the bet365 Stadium was somewhat of a shock result. Farke’s Norwich are starting to get things right, as last weekend’s late win over Wycombe Wanderers at Carrow Road was their third Championship success on the spin. This will no doubt be a close game in the capital, but we fancy Norwich to edge it. Take a punt on the Canaries to win and both teams to score at 13/2.

26th Oct 2020

20:00 - Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur HT/FT @ 6/4

The final Premier League fixture of the round sees Sean Dyche’s Burnley and Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur go head-to-head at Turf Moor on Monday night. Spurs have made a strong start to their season, but the Lilywhites let a 3-0 lead slip to draw 3-3 with rivals West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their last league outing. Will Jose’s boys strike back with three points in Lancashire on Monday or will Burnley prove stubborn opponents?

Burnley are one of four Premier League clubs yet to pick up a win in this season’s Premier League. After four games, the Clarets have drawn one and lost three, which is rather out of character for them based on recent seasons. Tottenham, who cruised to a 3-0 win in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening, should leave Turf Moor on Monday with a comfortable victory. Take a punt on Spurs to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 6/4.

26th Oct 2020

17:30 - Brighton v West Brom

Draw @ 3/1

Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion and Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion lock horns at the Amex Stadium on Monday evening in Premier League action. The Seagulls have not won in the league since beating Newcastle United 3-0 at St James’ Park on matchday two. As for the Baggies, their last league victory came in last season’s EFL Championship.

It has been a tough start to life back in the top tier for West Brom, who have taken just two points from five games. Brighton have also made a poor start, losing two and drawing one of their previous three matches in the Premier League. Alexis Mac Allister scored late to rescue a point for Potter’s troops against rivals Crystal Palace last time out, and we fancy this clash to end all square at the Amex. The draw is priced at odds of 3/1, which is decent enough to tempt us in.

25th Oct 2020

19:15 - Arsenal v Leicester City

Arsenal to Win -1 Goal @ 9/4

Arsenal and Leicester City go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday night in a tasty Premier League fixture. The Gunners have made a solid start to their campaign, winning seven of their opening nine league and cup matches so far. As for the Foxes, they followed up back-to-back league losses with a comfortable win in the UEFA Europa League On Thursday evening.

These two sides have already met this season, with Arsenal winning 2-0 at the King Power Stadium last month in Carabao Cup action. Mikel Arteta’s men have been hard to beat this term, with only Liverpool and Manchester City getting the better of the north London club up until now. Arsenal will fancy their chances of securing a fourth league win of the season on Sunday. Back the Gunners to beat the Foxes with a -1 goal handicap again at odds of 9/4.

25th Oct 2020

16:30 - Wolves v Newcastle United

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win to Nil @ 7/4

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers have had a mixed bag of results so far this season, but Wolves will be gunning for three Premier League victories on the spin this weekend. On Sunday afternoon, Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United make the trip to Molineux. Wanderers are the clear favourites on home soil, but can the Magpies give the home team something to thing about?

Since a shock 4-0 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium, Wolves have hit back with much-needed back-to-back wins in the Premier League. Nuno’s troops beat Fulham 1-0 at Molineux, which they followed up with a 1-0 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road last Monday. We are backing Wolves to make it three victories on the bounce this Sunday. Having kept clean sheets in all three of their league successes so far, we’re backing the hosts to win to nil again at a decent price of 7/4.

25th Oct 2020

14:00 - Southampton v Everton

Everton Win & BTTS @ 15/4

Premier League leaders Everton travel to St Mary’s to play Southampton on Sunday. Carlo Ancelotti’s men have been superb so far, dropping just two points from five games, and they’ll be doing all they can to maintain their momentum. As for the Saints, they have taken a respectable seven points from a possible 15 thus far. After drawing at home with rivals Liverpool last time out, the Toffees will be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend. They will certainly be confident of getting the victory.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have been in good form of late, beating Burnley and West Bromwich Albion and drawing with Chelsea in their last three matches. Before last weekend’s stalemate in the Merseyside derby, Ancelotti’s troops had won seven league and cup matches in a row. We fancy the in-form Toffees to leave St Mary’s with maximum points on Sunday. There is good value in the away win and both teams to score at odds of 15/4.

24th Oct 2020

20:00 - Liverpool v Sheffield United

Liverpool to Win to Nil @ Evens

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool welcome Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United to Anfield for a Premier League fixture on Saturday night. The Premier League champions will be looking for their first league victory in three having lost at Aston Villa before the international break and drawn with rivals Everton at Goodison Park last weekend. The Blades have struggled so far, and Liverpool, even with their injury problems at the back, should cruise to all three points on home turf this Saturday.

After going three league and cup games without a win, Klopp’s boys picked up an excellent 1-0 away victory at Ajax in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Now, the Merseysiders will want to get back to winning ways in the Premier League. Sheffield United have picked up just one point from a possible 15 so far, failing to score in three of their five fixtures. They don’t have the firepower to get at Liverpool’s suspect back line so back the Reds to win this one to nil at evens.

24th Oct 2020

17:30 - Manchester United v Chelsea

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Perhaps the biggest game of the weekend sees Manchester United and Chelsea lock horns in a heavyweight Premier League tussle at Old Trafford this Saturday. These two English giants have played out several memorable affairs throughout the Premier League years, and we should be in for another scintillating spectacle in Manchester on Saturday. Will United make home advantage count? Can the Blues return to the capital with all three points?

After the embarrassing 6-1 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur, Man Utd have responded with two much-needed victories after the international break. Having won 4-1 at Newcastle United last weekend, the Red Devils performed superbly to deservedly beat Paris Saint-Germain away from home in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Chelsea have had a mixed bag of results so far, winning only three of their opening eight across all competitions despite spending huge sums in the summer. We fancy United to edge this one on their own patch. The home win and both teams to score is available at cracking odds of 3/1.

24th Oct 2020

12:30 - Watford v Bournemouth

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Vladimir Ivic’s Watford and Jason Tindall’s Bournemouth square off at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon in the EFL Championship. This was a Premier League meeting last season, now both clubs are fighting to get back into the top flight. The pair have made good starts, with the Hornets sitting third on 13 points, while the Cherries are a point and a place behind. This promises to be a Championship cracker in Hertfordshire and may even prove to be a promotion six-pointer come the final reckoning.

Ivic, the latest boss on the managerial conveyor belt at Watford, has made a solid start to life at Vicarage Road, guiding his troops to four wins from six league matches. The Hornets have won their last two, beating Derby County at Pride Park and Blackburn Rovers at home. Bournemouth are undefeated in the Championship so far, winning three and drawing three. After back-to-back stalemates, Tindall’s team will be looking for all three points in Hertfordshire. However, we fancy the pair to play out an entertaining draw. Take a punt on the draw and both teams to score (7/2).

24th Oct 2020

12:30 - West Ham v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City side to the capital this Saturday to play West Ham United in Premier League action at the London Stadium. David Moyes’ Hammers came from three goals down to draw 3-3 with rivals Tottenham Hotspur last time out and are in good form right now. Prior to that, United had thumped Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 and beaten Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium. Can the Irons cause an upset on Saturday against a City side who were in midweek action?

Man City have not been at their best this season, but they have won three and drawn one of their last four league and cup matches since that shock 5-2 home league defeat to Leicester. The Citizens have a stunning recent record over the London outfit, and Pep’s boys should put another three points on the board this weekend. They won 3-1 in midweek and a similar sort of outcome is what we predict here. You can get City to win -1 at evens.

23rd Oct 2020

20:00 - Aston Villa v Leeds United

Aston Villa to Win -1 Goal @ 3/1

In-form Aston Villa welcome Leeds United to Villa Park this Friday night for an intriguing Premier League fixture. This will be the first top flight meeting between these two famous clubs since February 2004. The Villans have shocked all and sundry by taking maximum points so far. Can they make it five wins from five on Friday evening?

Dean Smith’s troops have been sensational so far, seeing off Sheffield United, Fulham, Liverpool and Leicester City to take 12 points from a possible 12. After their incredible 7-2 home victory over the Premier League champions, Villa returned from the international break with a solid 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium last Sunday. Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have been very competitive so far, but we fancy the Villans to move on to 15 points with a comfortable home win. Back the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 3/1.

23rd Oct 2020

19:45 - Nottingham Forest v Derby

Nottingham Forest to Win to Nil @ 9/4

On Friday night in the EFL Championship, Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest take on Phillip Cocu’s Derby County in a tasty East Midlands Derby at the City Ground. Both sides have struggled so far, with Forest on four points from a possible 15, while the Rams have just three points to their name. The Reds have improved under Hughton and the home side are the favourites in this one. But Derby are not going to give their regional neighbours an easy ride in this one.

Under Sabri Lamouchi, Nottingham Forest lost their opening four Championship matches. However, since Hughton arrived, the Reds have beaten Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park and drawn at home with Rotherham United. As for Derby, Tuesday’s defeat at Huddersfield Town was their sixth loss in seven in all competitions. County have failed to score in their last two, and though they’ll no doubt do all they can to win, we think they’ll fall short. As such we’re backing Forest to win to nil at odds of 9/4.

22nd Oct 2020

20:00 - Celtic v AC Milan

AC Milan to Win Both Halves @ 9/2

After their damaging defeat to bitter rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership last weekend, Neil Lennon’s Celtic must dust themselves down and get ready to kick off their UEFA Europa League campaign on Thursday night. The Bhoys welcome 18-time Italian champions AC Milan to Celtic Park for a mouth-watering game in Group H, one that fans will be gutted to miss.

This is an extremely tough group for Celtic, who also go up against Sparta Prague and Lille. Stefano Pioli’s Milan are one of the favourites to win the Europa League, and Lennon’s boys will be up against it from the very first whistle on Thursday. I Rossoneri are top of the Serie A after five wins from five, and Milan should leave Scotland with an easy victory in Europe. Back the away team to win both halves at big odds of 9/2.

22nd Oct 2020

20:00 - Leicester v Zorya Luhansk

Leicester City Win @ 2/7

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City welcome Viktor Skrypnyk’s Zorya Luhansk to the King Power Stadium this Thursday for a UEFA Europa League fixture. This will be the Foxes’ first ever game in this competition. After back-to-back losses in the Premier League, Leicester will be desperate for all three points from this one. Can City start their European campaign with a win and bounce back from domestic disappointment?

Leicester kicked off their season in superb style, winning their opening three Premier League matches, including a remarkable 5-2 win at Manchester City. However, they have lost to West Ham United and Aston Villa since then. Zorya have made a poor start to their league season, winning only one of six. Home advantage and a real difference in class should give Leicester the clear edge in this one. Put some money on the hosts to come out on top at 2/7 – short odds but still solid value.

22nd Oct 2020

20:00 - Tottenham v LASK Linz

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -2 Goals @ 12/5

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur start their UEFA Europa League journey with a home game against LASK Linz on Thursday night. Spurs are the strong favourites to win Group J, which also contains Ludogorets Razgrad and Antwerp. After letting a 3-0 lead slip to draw 3-3 with rivals West Ham United in the Premier League last weekend, Tottenham will be out for blood in this one.

Spurs, who were UEFA Champions League finalists in 2019, are one of the big hitters in this season’s Europa League. The Londoners should have no problems in the group, and we are expecting Mourinho’s men to start with a handsome win over the Austrian outfit at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in midweek. Check out the decent odds of 12/5 for the Lilywhites to win this one -2.

22nd Oct 2020

17:55 - Standard Liege v Rangers

Rangers Win & BTTS @ 15/4

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have been in sensational form this season and they will really fancy their chances of a strong run in this competition. Can the Gers chalk up another win when they take on Standard Liege at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne in UEFA Europa League Group D action on Thursday night? Rangers may be a long way from home, but Gerrard’s men are the favourites to take all three points in Belgium.

The Glasgow giants have hardly put a foot wrong this term, winning 12 and drawing two of their 14 league and cup matches. Last weekend, the Light Blues beat Old Firm rivals Celtic at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership, with Connor Goldson netting both goals in a 2-0 win. We fancy the Glasgow giants to make it six victories in a row on Thursday night so back the away win and both teams to score at the very juicy looking odds of 15/4.

22nd Oct 2020

17:55 - Rapid Vienna v Arsenal

Arsenal HT/FT @ 13/10

Mikel Arteta takes his Arsenal troops to the Allianz Stadion in Austria this Thursday to face Rapid Vienna in their first UEFA Europa League fixture of the season. The Gunners have been in decent form in the Premier League this term, though they were narrowly beaten at Manchester City last time out. Can the London side return to winning ways in Europe on Thursday in a competition they will feel they have a great chance of winning?

Group B consists of Arsenal, Rapid Vienna, Molde and Dundalk. To be fair, the draw has been kind to the Gunners, who, like their north London rivals Tottenham, should win the group with ease. Arsenal have won six league and cup matches already this term, and Arteta’s men should cruise past Rapid Vienna in the Austrian capital in midweek. You can get Arsenal at the tempting odds of 13/10 to be winning at half time and full time at the Allianz Stadion and that looks big to us.

21st Oct 2020

20:00 - Ajax v Liverpool

Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 15/8

Jurgen Klopp takes his Liverpool team to Amsterdam on Wednesday night to play Erik ten Hag’s Ajax in UEFA Champions League Group D action. With Atalanta and Midtjylland also in their group, these two teams will almost certainly be gunning for top spot. Liverpool won this competition in 2019 but they were knocked out at the last 16 stage last term. How far will the Reds go this time around?

Having been thumped 7-2 by Aston Villa before being held to a 2-2 draw by local rivals Everton, Liverpool will be desperate to get back to winning ways on Wednesday. That will not be an easy task against the Eredivisie champions at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but the 2019-20 Premier League winners have a very strong squad and they will fancy their chances. There is good value in the Liverpool win and both teams to score at odds of 15/8.

21st Oct 2020

20:00 - Manchester City v Porto

Manchester City HT/FT @ 8/11

Manchester City begin their UEFA Champions League campaign with a home game against Porto on Wednesday night. Pep Guardiola’s men, who are one of the favourites to lift the trophy, will also take on Olympiakos and Marseille in Group C. Man City will be hoping to get off to a perfect start, and the Premier League club are the big favourites at the Etihad Stadium.

City secured a much-needed 1-0 home win over Arsenal last weekend, which was only their second league success of the season. Porto, the current Primeira Liga champions, have picked up just one point from their last two league matches. In truth, this should be a comfortable victory for the home side. You can get the tempting odds of 8/11 for Man City to be winning at half time and full time, which looks a solid option to us.

21st Oct 2020

19:45 - Watford v Blackburn Rovers

Watford to Win to Nil @ 12/5

Vladimir Ivic’s Watford and Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers lock horns at Vicarage Road on Wednesday evening in the EFL Championship. The Hornets sit fifth in the table as things stand on 10 points, with Rovers three points behind them in ninth spot. Watford are the clear favourites on their own patch and Ivic’s boys will be targeting all three points from this midweek Championship affair.

Last Friday, the Hornets got back to winning ways with a crucial 1-0 victory over Derby County at Pride Park, which was their third league success of the season. As for Rovers, since thumping Wycombe Wanderers 5-0 and Derby 4-0, they have taken only one point from two games and failed to score a single goal. With that in mind, have a punt on Watford to win to nil on Wednesday, which is available at the decent odds of 12/5.

21st Oct 2020

19:45 - Cardiff City v Bournemouth

Draw @ 9/4

There is a full fixture list in the EFL Championship in midweek, with 12 matches taking place across Tuesday and Wednesday. One of the standout games sees Cardiff City and Bournemouth go head-to-head at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday night. The Bluebirds have been strong away from home but poor on their own patch. Can Neil Harris’s men pick up their first home point of the season in midweek?

Bournemouth are sitting pretty in third place at the moment, winning three and drawing two to take 11 points from a possible 15. Victory in South Wales on Wednesday could lift the Cherries to the top of the table. Since Harris arrived in Cardiff, the Bluebirds have become one of the best away teams in the Football League. However, they have struggled on home turf. We can see this one ending in a draw in the Welsh capital at odds of 9/4.

20th Oct 2020

20:00 - Chelsea v Sevilla

Chelsea to Win 2-1 @ 15/2

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea and Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla square off at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night for a UEFA Champions League group game. The Blues are the favourites on home turf, but last season’s UEFA Europa League winners will not be an easy nut to crack. On their way to Europa League success last term, the Spanish side beat Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United so they certainly won’t fear the Blues here.

Chelsea progressed to the knockout stages of the Champions League last season, losing out to eventual winners Bayern Munich in the Round of 16. The west London outfit will be looking to go even further this time around. Tuesday’s clash against Sevilla will be tricky, but Lampard’s men are usually formidable at home, and the hosts should edge it. The 2-1 Chelsea win is available at the tempting odds of 15/2.

20th Oct 2020

20:00 - PSG v Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain to Win -2 Goals @ 7/2

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer takes his wounded Manchester United side to the Parc des Princes this Tuesday to take on Thomas Tuchel’s Paris Saint-Germain in UEFA Champions League Group H action. RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir are also in the group, meaning progression will not be a walk in the park for United. PSG reached the final of this competition for the first ever time last season, narrowly losing out to Bayern Munich. Man Utd could be in for a long night in Paris and their out of sorts defence will really be tested by Neymar and co.

The Red Devils have made a poor start to their Premier League campaign. In their previous home match, United were embarrassed by Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur, crashing to a heavy 6-1 defeat to the Londoners. PSG have found their feet after a slow start, and the Parisians should be too strong for Ole’s boys at the Parc des Princes. Take a punt on the hosts to win -2 at big odds of 7/2.

20th Oct 2020

19:45 - Norwich v Birmingham

Draw & Over 3.5 Goals @ 11/1

Norwich City welcome Birmingham City to Carrow Road on Tuesday night for an EFL Championship fixture. Daniel Farke’s Canaries, who were relegated from the Premier League last term, have been in patchy form at the start of this campaign. Nonetheless, can Norwich pick up their first home league victory since beating Leicester City back in February?

Aitor Karanka has made a solid enough start to life at Birmingham City, with the Blues drawing both of their away matches so far. Birmingham picked up the same number of points away from home as they did at St Andrew’s last season, and we fancy Karanka’s troops to battle to another draw at Carrow Road in midweek. When the pair met at St Andrew’s in the 2018-19 season, they played out an entertaining 2-2 stalemate. We think this could well be another goalfest, so back the draw and over 3.5 goals in this one at the huge price of 11/1.

20th Oct 2020

19:45 - Millwall v Luton Town

Millwall to Win by One @ 13/5

Gary Rowett’s Millwall welcome Nathan Jones’ Luton Town to The Den for an EFL Championship encounter on Tuesday night. The Hatters were one of the favourites for relegation before a ball was kicked, but Jones’ troops have made an excellent start so far, carrying on from their strong finish to the last campaign. However, The Den is a notoriously tough place to go, even without fans present. The Lions are the favourites in this one and rightly so, but it will be close.

Millwall were beaten just five times at home in last season’s Championship, while Luton suffered 15 away defeats. The London side have yet to win at home in the league this term, though, drawing with Stoke City and Brentford. This could be close on the scoreline in the capital, but we fancy the Lions to edge it on home soil. With that in mind, take a punt on Millwall to win by exactly one goal at a tidy price of 13/5.

19th Oct 2020

20:00 - Leeds United v Wolves

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United entertain Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Monday evening in a fascinating Premier League fixture. United, last season’s EFL Championship winners, have made a superb start to life back in the top tier. They have picked up seven points so far and have played with a refreshing fearlessness. Can Leeds move on to 10 points with a home win on Monday night?

After narrowly losing at Liverpool on the opening weekend, Bielsa’s boys bounced back with back-to-back wins over Fulham and Sheffield United. Before the international break, Leeds held Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to a draw at Elland Road. Wolves have made an indifferent start to the campaign, winning two and drawing two of their opening four matches. Having drawn at home last time out, we fancy United to battle to another stalemate on Monday. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.

18th Oct 2020

16:30 - Tottenham v West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

We have another derby up next as Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur and David Moyes’ West Ham United do battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Sunday in an all-London Premier League affair. Tottenham have been in superb form of late, winning 7-2 against Maccabi Haifa and 6-1 at Old Trafford in their last two fixtures. Will Spurs be too strong for the Hammers, or can in-form West Ham spring another surprise this weekend?

Mourinho’s men are unbeaten since losing to Everton on the opening weekend of the Premier League season. West Ham head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having won their last two in the league, thumping Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 and Leicester City 3-0. However, we are backing Spurs to secure a routine home victory on Sunday. There is good value in Tottenham to win -1 at 6/4.

18th Oct 2020

14:00 - Crystal Palace v Brighton

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

On Sunday afternoon, rivals Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion lock horns at Selhurst Park in Premier League action in the rather prosaically named M23 derby. After two wins, Palace head into this derby fixture having lost their last two. As for Brighton, they have lost three league and cup matches on the spin despite some good performances against tough teams along the way. Both sides will be desperate for all three points in the capital at the weekend.

These two have had several ding-dong battles in the Premier League in recent years. The Seagulls were unbeaten in three against the Eagles before last February’s 1-0 home defeat. The pair look well matched on paper, and Sunday’s showdown at Selhurst will no doubt be another close encounter between Palace and Brighton. Our money is going on the draw and both teams to score, which is available at the huge price of 15/4 in this goal-packed season.

18th Oct 2020

12:00 - Preston v Cardiff City

Draw @ 12/5

Preston North End entertain Cardiff City at Deepdale on Sunday afternoon in the EFL Championship. Before the international break, North End came impressively from two goals down to win 4-2 at the Brentford Community Stadium. As for Cardiff, all four of their Championship points have come away from the Cardiff City Stadium this season. Which way will this in intriguing fixture go in Lancashire?

Preston’s season finally came alive when they shocked Brentford last time out. Prior to that, the Lilywhites had taken just one point from a possible nine. The Bluebirds picked up a decent 0-0 draw at Blackburn Rovers before the break. Both sides have collected just four points from a possible 12 so far, and Sunday’s clash at Deepdale could go either way. We fancy the pair to cancel each other out and you can get the draw at very nice looking odds of 12/5.

17th Oct 2020

20:00 - Newcastle v Manchester United

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 12/5

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United will be desperate to get back to winning ways after their humiliating defeat last time out. Before the break, the Red Devils were beaten 6-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. This Saturday night, Man United make the trip to St James’ Park to take on Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United. Only three points will do for the away side but Newcastle won’t roll over for them.

Newcastle have made a steady start to their Premier League campaign, winning two, drawing one and losing one of their opening four games. The Red Devils have already been beaten by Crystal Palace and Spurs, though they did win their one and only away match at Brighton and Hove Albion. Ole will be demanding a response, and United should squeeze past the Magpies at the weekend. Check out the away win and both teams to score, which is available at odds of 12/5.

17th Oct 2020

17:30 - Manchester City v Arsenal

Manchester City HT/FT @ 21/20

This weekend’s standout fixture in the Premier League takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening, as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City welcome Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to Manchester. The Gunners have made a solid start and have certainly improved since Arteta left City to join life at the Emirates Stadium, but the home side are the odds-on favourites to be victorious in this one.

In their last home league match, City were shocked by Leicester City, crashing to a rather astonishing 5-2 defeat. Then before the break, Pep’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road. Arsenal have taken nine points from a possible 12 so far, but Saturday’s game in Manchester will no doubt be a tough one. Having picked up just one point from their last two, Man City will surely return to winning ways in this one. You can get a decent price of 21/20 for City to be leading at half time and full time.

17th Oct 2020

15:00 - Chelsea v Southampton

Chelsea to Win -1 Goal @ 5/4

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea entertain Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton at Stamford Bridge in Premier League action this Saturday afternoon. The Blues thumped Crystal Palace 4-0 at the Bridge before the international break, while the Saints beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at St Mary’s. Southampton were superb on the road last season, but Chelsea are the big favourites on their own patch this weekend.

Lampard’s boys have had a mixed bag of results so far this term, but the Blues will be buoyed after their big win over Palace. Southampton head to the capital having won their last two, beating Burnley and West Brom. But getting anything at Stamford Bridge this Saturday will be a tall order for Hasenhuttl and his troops. We fancy the hosts to secure an easy win and we will be backing Chelsea to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 5/4.

17th Oct 2020

12:30 - Celtic v Rangers

Celtic Win & Over 3.5 Goals @ 13/2

Rivals Celtic and Rangers do battle at Celtic Park this Saturday in the first Old Firm game of the 2020-21 Scottish Premiership season. These two will be battling it out for the title this term, and both clubs have made an excellent start. Having played a game more, Steven Gerrard’s Gers are a point ahead at the top of the table. Who will come out on top in this mouth-watering match on Saturday?

Neil Lennon’s Bhoys have dropped just two Premiership points so far, winning eight and drawing one. As for Rangers, they have won eight and drawn two of their 10 games thus far. Celtic are incredibly hard to topple on their own patch, with Lennon’s troops winning every home league game so far this season. This promises to be a cracker between two evenly matched teams in Glasgow, but we fancy the Celts to edge a thrilling encounter. Have a punt on the home win and over 3.5 goals at a price of 13/2.

17th Oct 2020

12:30 - Everton v Liverpool

Everton Win @ 11/4

Merseyside rivals Everton and Liverpool clash at Goodison Park in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon. The Toffees have a woeful recent record against their neighbours, but Carlo Ancelotti’s men will fancy their chances this weekend having made a stunning start to their season. Can Everton finally get the better of their bitter rivals or will the Premier League champions bring their neighbours back down to earth?

The Toffees are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table after winning four out of four matches thus far. Ancelotti’s troops have been on fire, seeing off Tottenham Hotspur, West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool had won their opening three league matches, but the Reds were stunned at Villa Park before the international break, crashing to a heavy and almost unbelievable 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa. The momentum is with the Toffees and our money is going on the Everton win in this one at very nice odds of 11/4.

16th Oct 2020

19:45 - Derby County v Watford

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

The EFL Championship is back this weekend, with the action getting underway on Friday night with a tasty-looking match. Vladimir Ivic’s Watford make the trip to Pride Park to play Phillip Cocu’s Derby County. The Rams picked up their first win of the season last time out after three successive defeats, while the Hornets have collected seven points from a possible 12. This promises to be an intriguing Championship fixture in the East Midlands and both sides will fancy their chances of landing the three points.

A late Wayne Rooney goal gave Derby a 1-0 victory at Norwich City last time out, which ended a run of three straight league defeats. As for Watford, they won two and drew one of their opening three matches, but they were beaten at Reading before the international break. County will be desperate to build on their victory at Carrow Road, but we fancy Watford to leave Pride Park with a point. There is great value in the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2, and that is the bet for us in this one.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - Croatia v France

France Win & Over 3.5 Goals @ 5/1

In a repeat of the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, Croatia and France lock horns in a UEFA Nations League fixture on Tuesday night. This one may be taking place at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb, but the French are the clear favourites to get the win. Portugal, the winners of the inaugural Nations League, lead the way in Group A3, ahead of Les Bleus on goal difference, so the margin of any France victory could prove crucial.

France started their Nations League campaign with wins over Sweden and Croatia. Last weekend, though, Didier Deschamps’ men were held to a goalless draw by Portugal at the Stade de France. The world champions will be eager to get back to winning ways in midweek. These two have been involved in some high-scoring meetings of late and we can see something similar evolving in this one. As such we’ll be backing France to win and over 3.5 goals to be scored on Tuesday at a nice price of 5/1.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - Italy v Netherlands

Italy to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Italy and Netherlands lock horns at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in Bergamo this Tuesday for a UEFA Nations fixture between two of Europe’s heavyweights. Things are very tight in League A, Group 1 ahead of this round of matches, as just one point separates Italy, Holland and Poland. Also, bottom side Bosnia-Herzegovina are only three points off top spot.

When these two sides squared off at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam last month, a Nicolo Barella effort just before half time proved to be enough to give Italy a 1-0 away win. This is likely to be another close battle between two evenly matched sides in Bergamo, but we fancy the Italians to edge past the Dutch once again. Have a look at the decent odds of 11/4 for the hosts to win by a one goal margin.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - Bulgaria v Wales

Wales to Win to Nil @ 2/1

Ryan Giggs’ Wales could take another significant step towards promotion to UEFA Nations League A when they take on Bulgaria at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia on Tuesday night. The Dragons would move on to 10 points from four games with a win. Giggs’ men are in form and will fancy their chances in Sofia on Tuesday.

Wales picked up a handy 0-0 draw with Republic of Ireland in Dublin last weekend. Before that, the Welsh had started their Nations League campaign with 1-0 wins over Finland and Bulgaria. Wales have looked strong defensively up until now, and we fancy Giggs’ boys to get the three points and keep a clean sheet at the Vasil Levski National Stadium on Tuesday night. The away win to nil is nicely priced at odds of 2/1, which looks a good option to us.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - Norway v Northern Ireland

Norway to Win -2 Goals @ 10/3

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland make the trip to the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo in midweek to take on Lars Lagerback’s Norway. Norn Iron have had a poor UEFA Nations League campaign thus far, picking up just one point from a possible nine. As for the Norwegians, they have six points to their name. Can Northern Ireland cause an upset in Oslo?

Last month, Norway thumped the Green and White Army in Belfast, with Erling Haaland and Alexander Sorloth both scoring braces in a 5-1 romp at Windsor Park. Despite taking his side through to the UEFA Euro 2020 play-off finals, Baraclough has had a tough time in the Northern Ireland dugout so far. We can see Norn Iron crashing to another heavy Nations League defeat on Tuesday. Back the hosts to win with a -2 handicap at odds of 10/3.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - Scotland v Czech Republic

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

In-form Scotland entertain Czech Republic in a crucial UEFA Nations League match at Hampden Park on Tuesday night. The Scots have had a fine League B, Group 2 campaign thus far, winning two and drawing one of their three matches. Steve Clarke’s men are also through to the UEFA Euro 2020 play-off finals. Can Scotland extend their unbeaten run in midweek?

After drawing with Israel at Hampden on matchday one, the Scots picked up an excellent 2-1 win against the Czech Republic in Olomouc in their second match. Then last time out, Scotland edged past Slovakia with a 1-0 win at Hampden. The Czechs will be out for revenge in this one, but we fancy Clarke’s boys to hold Jaroslav Silhavy’s side to a draw in Glasgow. Put some money on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.

14th Oct 2020

19:45 - England v Denmark

England to Win -1 Goal @ 15/8

Gareth Southgate’s England welcome Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark to Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night in UEFA Nations League action. This is a vital fixture for both sides, as the Three Lions lead the way in Group A2, a point above Belgium and three points ahead of the Danes. England would take a giant leap towards the Nations League finals with victory in London in midweek.

Southgate’s troops came from behind to beat the Belgians 2-1 at Wembley last weekend. In doing so, England moved to the top of League A, Group 2. Meanwhile, Denmark were too good for Iceland at Laugardalsvollur, cruising to a 3-0 victory in the Icelandic capital. However, Tuesday’s game in England’s capital will be a tough test for the Danes. Take a punt on the Three Lions to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 15/8.

11th Oct 2020

19:45 - France v Portugal

Portugal Win @ 13/5

FIFA World Cup holders France and current UEFA European Championship champions Portugal go head-to-head in a mouth-watering UEFA Nations League fixture at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis on Sunday night. The French and Portuguese have both picked up maximum points thus far, but who will prevail in France at the weekend? The home side are the favourites but we have a sneaky feeling an upset may just be on the cards.

Before beating Croatia 4-1 at home, Les Bleus started their campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Sweden in Solna, with Kylian Mbappe scoring the only goal. Cristiano Ronaldo hit a brace in Portugal’s 2-0 success in Sweden last time out in the Nations League. Prior to that, Fernando Santos’ men put four past the Croatians in a 4-1 victory in Porto. France are the favourites, but the Portuguese are a tough nut to crack under Santo. Given the odds, our money is going on the away win at 13/5.

11th Oct 2020

19:45 - Poland v Italy

Italy to Win -1 Goal @ 13/5

Poland and Italy meet at the Stadion Energa Gdansk in UEFA Nations League action on Sunday night. The Italians currently lead the way in League A, Group 1, picking up four points from a possible six. As for the Poles, they have won one and drawn one so far. Roberto Mancini’s men head to Poland as the clear favourites, but can they leave Gdansk with maximum points to cement their position at the head of the group?

After narrowly losing to Netherlands in their opener, Jerzy Brzeczek’s men hit back with an excellent 2-1 away win against Bosnia & Herzegovina on matchday two. Gli Azzurri drew with Bosnia before winning 1-0 at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam. Italy have the stronger team on paper, and the visitors should leave Poland with a comfortable victory on Sunday. Back Italy to win -1 at nice looking odds of 13/5.

11th Oct 2020

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Austria

Austria HT/FT @ 21/10

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland have another tough UEFA Nations League matchup to contend with this weekend, as Franco Foda’s Austria visit Windsor Park in League B, Group 1 action. Baraclough’s boys will be desperate to respond after their humiliating 5-1 home defeat to Norway a month back. However, the Austrians head to Northern Ireland as favourites.

Last month’s heavy defeat was a setback for Norn Iron, especially as they started their campaign with an excellent 1-1 draw with Romania in Bucharest. As for Austria, they won 2-1 in Norway before losing 3-2 to the Romanians in Klagenfurt. We fancy Foda’s men to bounce back with a comfortable victory in Belfast at the weekend. Check out the decent odds of 21/10 for the away team to be winning at half time and full time at Windsor Park.

11th Oct 2020

19:45 - Scotland v Slovakia

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

Steve Clarke’s Scotland and Pavel Hapal’s Slovakia go head-to-head at Hampden Park in a UEFA Nations League fixture on Sunday. The Scots have made a solid start to their campaign, taking four points from their opening two fixtures. In stark contrast, the Slovakians are bottom of League B, Group 2 at present, but Hapal’s men can be a dangerous side on their day.

Scotland followed up a 1-1 draw with Israel at Hampden on matchday one with a hard fought win over Czech Republic in Olomouc. After going a goal down, strikes from Lyndon Dykes and Ryan Christie gave the Scots a memorable 2-1 victory. The Scots will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the group on Sunday. We can see the hosts battling to a draw in Glasgow – the 1-1 stalemate is nicely priced at very big odds of 11/2.

11th Oct 2020

17:00 - England v Belgium

England Win or Draw @ 1/2

Gareth Southgate’s England and Roberto Martinez’s Belgium meet at Wembley Stadium in the UEFA Nations League this Sunday. These two nations went head-to-head on two occasions at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, with the Belgians winning both matches. Can the Three Lions get some revenge in the Nations League on Sunday to give themselves a great chance of once again progressing in this competition?

In-form Belgium have started their campaign like a house on fire, winning two out of two and scoring seven goals. As for Southgate’s side, they left it late to beat Iceland in their opening League A, Group 2 fixture. The English then drew 0-0 with Denmark at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. This is a tough fixture to call, but we fancy England to battle to at least a draw at Wembley. The England win or draw (double chance) is available at 1/2.

11th Oct 2020

14:00 - Republic of Ireland v Wales

Wales Win & BTTS @ 11/2

Republic of Ireland and Wales go head-to-head once again at the weekend. Sunday’s UEFA Nations League matchup at the Aviva Stadium will be the fourth meeting between the two countries in just three years. The Dragons have won the last two, beating the Republic home and away in the previous Nations League campaign. Can the Boys in Green get revenge in this enticing Group B4 encounter?

Ireland have had a tough start so far, collecting one point from a possible six. In contrast, Wales have won both matches to take control of the group. Ryan Giggs’ men have secured back-to-back 1-0 wins over Finland and Bulgaria and will face England in a friendly prior to this clash. The Dragons are a team bang in form at the moment, which could give them the edge in Dublin this Sunday. Back the away win and both teams to score at 11/2.

10th Oct 2020

19:45 - Ukraine v Germany

Germany HT/FT @ 20/21

Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukraine welcome Joachim Low’s Germany to the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev this Saturday for a UEFA Nations League fixture. After drawing their opening two League A, Group 4 games, the Germans will be looking for all three points in the Ukrainian capital. The home side have won one and lost one of their matches so far, and they are currently sitting one point behind leaders Spain in second spot.

Ukraine started the Nations League with a 2-1 win over Switzerland in Lviv. A few days later, though, Shevchenko’s men were hammered 4-0 by Spain in Madrid. Germany conceded at the death to draw 1-1 with the Spaniards in Stuttgart before drawing 1-1 with the Swiss in Basel. We fancy Low’s boys to get back to winning ways in Kiev at the weekend. There is good value in the away team to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 20/21.

10th Oct 2020

19:45 - Spain v Switzerland

Spain to Win -1 Goal @ 21/20

Spain and Switzerland square off in UEFA Nations League action on Saturday night in a game that could prove rather entertaining. After two games, La Roja lead the way in League A, Group 4, collecting four points from a possible six. As for the Swiss, they are bottom at present, losing one and drawing one of their opening two, so there is definitely room for improvement. Who will prevail at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium in Madrid?

Spain drew 1-1 with Germany at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart on Matchday One, which they followed up with a thumping 4-0 victory over Ukraine in the Spanish capital in their second game. Spain are on a tremendous unbeaten run, and they should see off Vladimir Petkovic’s Switzerland with ease on home soil this Saturday. Check out the tempting odds of 21/20 for Luis Enrique’s men to win this one with a -1 goal handicap.

8th Oct 2020

20:00 - England v Wales

England HT/FT @ 5/6

Old rivals England and Wales do battle in an international friendly at Wembley Stadium this Thursday that is sure to get the pulses racing. As expected, Gareth Southgate’s men are the clear favourites on their own patch, with the bookies pricing the Three Lions at just 1/3 to get the victory. However, the Dragons keep on improving under Ryan Giggs, and the away win is priced generously at odds of 9/1. Who will prevail in the English capital?

This will be the first meeting between the foes since they locked horns at UEFA Euro 2016 in France. England came from behind to get a 2-1 win in that one, but the Dragons went on to win the group and reach the semi-finals. The Three Lions have a good record in this fixture and, all things considered, Southgate’s men should edge past Wales at Wembley on Thursday. Take a punt on the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 5/6.

8th Oct 2020

19:45 - Scotland v Israel

Scotland to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Steve Clarke’s Scotland welcome Willibald Ruttensteiner’s Israel to Hampden Park this Thursday in UEFA Euro 2020 play-off action. The Scots have not qualified for a European Championship since Euro ’96, which was played on English soil. But they are two games away from booking their spot in next summer’s tournament. If they see off Israel, Scotland will play either Norway or Serbia in Oslo or Belgrade in the play-off final next month.

These two nations know each other well having played three times over the past 24 months. They have met in both UEFA Nations League campaigns so far, drawing 1-1 at Hampden back in September. This will no doubt be another tight encounter between the two evenly matched countries, but we fancy Clarke’s boys to secure a narrow win on home soil. The hosts are priced at odds of 5/2 to win by a one goal margin in Glasgow, which looks worth a bet to us.

8th Oct 2020

19:45 - Slovakia v Republic of Ireland

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Pavel Hapal’s Slovakia and Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland square off in a UEFA Euro 2020 play-off fixture at Tehelne pole in Bratislava on Thursday night. The winners of this tie will take on either Bosnia-Herzegovina or Northern Ireland in Sarajevo or Belfast for a place in next summer’s tournament. Can Ireland get the win in the Slovakian capital?

Slovakia have been in patchy form over recent games, but they are always a tough nut to crack on home soil. The Republic have picked up just one win from their last six matches in all competitions. Each of the last four meetings have ended in draws, and we can see the pair playing out an entertaining stalemate in normal time on Thursday. The draw and both teams to score is priced at odds of 15/4.

8th Oct 2020

19:45 - Bosnia-Herzegovina v N. Ireland

Bosnia-Herzegovina to Win -1 Goal @ 13/5

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland travel to the Stadion Grbavica in Sarajevo this Thursday for a UEFA Euro 2020 qualification play-off against Bosnia-Herzegovina. This will not be an easy fixture for Northern Ireland, but can they upset Dusan Bajevic’s men? The home side are the favourites to get the win and book their place in the play-off final, while Northern Ireland are priced at odds of 16/5.

These two nations went head-to-head in the inaugural UEFA Nations League, with Bosnia beating Northern Ireland home and away. Baraclough has had a tough start, losing 5-1 at home to Norway in a Nations League encounter last time out. Unfortunately for the Green and White Army, we can see the Golden Lilies being too strong on home soil. Back the home team to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 13/5.

7th Oct 2020

19:45 - Portugal v Spain

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Fernando Santos’ Portugal and Luis Enrique’s Spain clash in a tasty friendly fixture at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon on Wednesday night. It’s certainly the pick of Wednesday’s matches, though Germany versus Turkey and France versus Ukraine could also be interesting. Portugal, the current UEFA European Championship champions, will back themselves on home soil against their near neighbours, but you can never rule out Spain with the class and ability they possess. The bookies are having a tough time splitting these two, and Wednesday’s game in Lisbon could go either way.

Portugal have been on a good run of results of late, winning seven of their last eight matches. Defeat to Ukraine last October remains their only loss in over two years. Spain have also been in good form in recent matches, winning 10 and drawing three of their previous 13 games. We fancy these two evenly matched nations to play out an entertaining draw in the Portuguese capital. The draw and both teams to score is available at odds of 10/3 which looks a decent price to us.

4th Oct 2020

19:15 - Aston Villa v Liverpool

Liverpool to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have opened their season with three wins out of three so far. Will the Premier League champions leave Villa Park with all three points at the weekend? Aston Villa have also started well, winning two out of two in the league. However, this will be a stern test for Dean Smith and his Villans. Liverpool are the strong favourites in this one and it would be a major surprise if the champions falter.

After edging past Leeds United in their opener, the Reds have beaten both Chelsea and Arsenal by two goal margins. Aston Villa gave Liverpool a real game at Villa Park last season, with Klopp’s boys scoring two late goals to win 2-1. In-form Villa have the potential be tough opponents once again, but the champions should cruise to three points in the Midlands. You can get a reasonable price of 7/4 for the away team to win both halves.

4th Oct 2020

16:30 - Manchester United v Tottenham

Manchester United to Win -1 Goal @ 9/4

The standout fixture of the Premier League weekend takes place at Old Trafford on Sunday as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United host Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have won just one of their last five league and cup matches against United, and Mourinho’s men are the underdogs in this one.

The Red Devils were involved in a five-goal thriller at Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, with Bruno Fernandes’ last-gasp penalty giving United a 3-2 away win. That was just what the doctor ordered for Ole’s boys after their poor defeat to Crystal Palace in their opening Premier League game. Tottenham have been incredibly busy of late, and Sunday’s fixture at Old Trafford will be a tough one for the London side. We fancy the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at a price of 9/4.

4th Oct 2020

14:00 - Wolves v Fulham

Wolverhampton Wanderers HT/FT @ 11/8

After last weekend’s shock 4-0 defeat at West Ham United, Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking for a big response from his Wolverhampton Wanderers players this Sunday. Scott Parker’s Fulham, who have lost three out of three so far, visit Molineux this weekend. Wolves will be desperate to hit back with three points from this one.

Wanderers were unusually poor at the London Stadium last time out, falling to a heavy 4-0 defeat in the capital. That was Wolves’ third consecutive loss in all competitions. Fulham’s return to the Premier League has been tough up until now, as the Cottagers have been beaten by Arsenal, Leeds United and Aston Villa. We can see Scott Parker’s men crashing to a fourth successive league loss on Sunday. Wolves are priced at odds of 11/8 to be winning at half time and full time.

4th Oct 2020

14:00 - Arsenal v Sheffield United

Arsenal to Win to Nil @ 6/4

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal entertain Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium in Premier League action this Sunday afternoon. The Blades have had a tough start to their league season so far, picking up zero points from their opening three matches. As expected, the Gunners are the big favourites to get the win in this one.

Arsenal kicked off their league season with an impressive 3-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage. The London side followed that up with a narrow home victory against David Moyes’ West Ham United. After losing at Liverpool last weekend, Arteta’s troops will want to bounce back with three points at home this Sunday. This will be another tough one for Sheffield United, and we like the look of Arsenal to win to nil at a very fair price of 6/4.

4th Oct 2020

12:00 - Leicester v West Ham

Leicester City Win & BTTS @ 11/5

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City will be looking to make it 12 points from a possible 12 when the Foxes welcome West Ham United to the King Power Stadium this Sunday in the Premier League. Last time out, Leicester secured a stunning victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Will City be too strong for the Hammers this weekend?

Leicester put on a masterclass performance at the Etihad last Sunday, with the excellent Jamie Vardy helping himself to a hat-trick. James Maddison and Youri Tielemans were also on the scoresheet in the extraordinary 5-2 win. West Ham sealed their first league victory of the season last weekend, thumping Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at home, but Leicester should maintain their 100% winning record in the league. There is good value in the home win and both teams to score at odds of 11/5.

3rd Oct 2020

20:00 - Newcastle United v Burnley

Newcastle United HT/FT @ 3/1

Newcastle United welcome Burnley to St James’ Park this Saturday night for a Premier League fixture featuring two sides who could be battling for survival come the end of the season. The Magpies have four points to their name thus far, while the Clarets have lost both of their Premier League matches. Will Newcastle secure three points on home soil, or can Burnley get off the mark at St James’ Park?

Steve Bruce’s boys picked up a controversial point at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, with Callum Wilson dispatching a contentious penalty right at the death. Sean Dyche’s troops have had a tough start, losing 4-2 at Leicester City and 1-0 at home to Southampton. Unfortunately for the Clarets, we fancy them to fall to another league defeat on Saturday. Check out the solid price of 3/1 for the home side to be winning at half time and full time.

3rd Oct 2020

17:30 - Leeds United v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -2 Goals @ 15/8

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City meet in a mouth-watering Premier League game at Elland Road this Saturday. Leeds have made an excellent return to life in the top tier of English football, picking up six points from three games. In the game they lost they pushed champions Liverpool all the way and were unlucky to Anfield without at least a point. As for Man City, they will be hoping to hit back after last weekend’s shock home defeat to Leicester City.

After narrowly losing at Anfield on the opening weekend, Leeds have secured back-to-back Premier League wins over Fulham and Sheffield United. United will be up for this one, but City will be out for blood after their woeful 5-2 home defeat against the Foxes last Sunday. Pep’s boys should return to winning ways in style at the weekend. You can get a price of 15/8 for the away team to win with a -2 goal handicap at Elland Road, which looks worth considering.

3rd Oct 2020

12:30 - Norwich City v Derby County

Norwich City to Win -1 Goal @ 8/5

Daniel Farke’s Norwich City entertain Phillip Cocu’s Derby County at Carrow Road in EFL Championship action on Saturday afternoon. The Rams have made a woeful start to their season, losing all three league matches so far. Last time out, County were thumped 4-0 at home by Blackburn Rovers. Can Derby avoid a fifth successive league and cup loss on Saturday?

Norwich have made an indifferent start to their season, with the Canaries taking four points from a possible nine. After winning at Huddersfield Town on the opening weekend, City have drawn with Preston North End and lost to Bournemouth. Farke’s men will be eager to return to winning ways at the weekend, and the hosts should ease past Derby at Carrow Road. Back the home team to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 8/5.

3rd Oct 2020

12:30 - Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Draw & BTTS @ 5/1

London sides Chelsea and Crystal Palace lock horns at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Frank Lampard’s Blues have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions since winning 3-1 at Brighton and Hove Albion in their opening game. As for the Eagles, they have picked up six points from a possible nine so far, which isn’t a bad return.

Chelsea were dumped out of the Carabao Cup in midweek, losing on penalties to Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Since beating Brighton, Lampard’s boys have taken just one point from league games against Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion. Palace were beaten at home by in-form Everton last time out, but they edged past Southampton and Manchester United before then. We fancy Roy Hodgson’s men to leave the Bridge with a point this weekend. The draw and both teams to score looks a good option and is available at odds of 5/1.

2nd Oct 2020

19:45 - Coventry City v Bournemouth

Bournemouth to Win by One Goal @ 15/4

Jason Tindall takes his Bournemouth troops to St Andrew’s on Friday to play Mark Robins’ Coventry City in EFL Championship action. The Sky Blues have made a steady return to the life in the second tier, winning one, drawing one and losing one of their three matches so far. Friday’s clash against one of the title favourites will be a tough assignment, though. Bournemouth are a decent side who performed well in recent years in the top flight before getting relegated last term.

Bournemouth have started well in their new Championship home, picking up seven points from a possible nine. The Cherries beat Blackburn Rovers on the opening weekend before drawing 1-1 at Middlesbrough. Last time out, Arnaut Groeneveld’s goal earned them a 1-0 home victory over Norwich City. Both of Bournemouth’s league wins have been by narrow margins so far, and this could be another close one. We think the away team will just nick it though and we’ll be backing Bournemouth to win by a one goal margin at odds of 15/4.

1st Oct 2020

19:45 - Liverpool v Arsenal

Liverpool HT/FT @ 11/5

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal lock horns once again as the pair meet in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Anfield on Thursday. This will be the third meeting between the English giants this season. After beating the Gunners in the Premier League on Monday, will the Reds see off the London side yet again? Or will Arsenal raise their game sufficiently to make it through to the next round?

Arsenal beat Liverpool in the FA Community Shield back in August, but Klopp’s men eased to a 3-1 league victory at Anfield on Monday night. Both managers will chop and change their teams, which could make it a more even affair. However, we still fancy the Premier League champions to get the win and book their place in the final eight. You can get the tempting odds of 11/5 for the home team to be winning at half time and full time, which looks like the bet for us.

1st Oct 2020

19:00 - Aston Villa v Stoke City

Aston Villa to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Dean Smith’s Aston Villa welcome Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City to Villa Park on Thursday for a fourth round tie in the Carabao Cup. The Villans have made an excellent start to their season, winning all four league and cup matches thus far. Can Villa make it five victories on the spin and seal their passage through to the last eight of the EFL Cup?

Aston Villa, who reached the final of this competition last term (which they lost to Manchester City), have beaten Burton Albion and Bristol City so far. In the Premier League, Smith’s boys have seen off Sheffield United and Fulham without conceding a single goal. Aston Villa will be looking for a comfortable win in the cup before facing champions Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend. We thinking the home side have enough about them to win this one with room to space. As such we’ll be backing the Villa to win to nil at odds of 15/8.

1st Oct 2020

17:30 - Brentford v Fulham

Brentford to Win -1 Goal @ 7/2

London rivals Brentford and Fulham meet again even though their Championship play-off final is still fresh in the memory. This time, the pair square off in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at the Brentford Community Stadium on Thursday night. The Bees have already seen off two Premier League clubs in the competition so far. Can Thomas Frank’s men make home advantage count and book their place in the EFL Cup quarter-finals?

After seeing off Wycombe Wanderers on penalties in the first round, Brentford have gone on to beat Southampton and West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup. Fulham have got past Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday, but Scott Parker’s men have lost all three Premier League matches so far, which doesn’t bode well for them. We fancy the Bees to get the job done on home turf and get a small dose of revenge for their play-off defeat. There is good value in the home side to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 7/2.

30th Sep 2020

19:45 - Everton v West Ham United

Everton Win & BTTS @ 12/5

Carlo Ancelotti’s in-form Everton welcome West Ham United to Goodison Park on Wednesday for a fourth round tie in the Carabao Cup. The Toffees have been quicker out of the blocks than most sides this term, winning five league and cup matches in a row. As for the Hammers, they have won three of their last four in all competitions and are not likely to lie down in this one.

West Ham were superb on Sunday, walloping Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at the London Stadium in the Premier League. Before that, United beat Hull City 5-1 at home in the EFL Cup. Everton have also been excellent of late. The Toffees have won all five league and cup matches thus far, seeing off Salford City and Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup. The home side should edge this one at Goodison and we think there’s value in backing the Everton win and both teams to score at a price of 12/5.

30th Sep 2020

19:45 - Brighton v Manchester United

Manchester United Win & Over 3.5 Goals @ 7/2

Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion welcome back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United to the Amex Stadium for a fourth round fixture in the Carabao Cup this Wednesday night. These two teams played out a thriller at the Amex in the Premier League last weekend, with United scoring a penalty in the 100th minute to win the game 3-2. What unfolds in this cup match on Wednesday is open to question, but it is certainly no foregone conclusion that the favourites will triumph.

Man United have been nowhere near their best at the start of this season, but they will be full of confidence after last Saturday’s incredible win at the Amex. Brighton have been extremely competitive so far, winning three league and cup games in a row before their narrow defeat to the Red Devils last time out. We fancy this to be another enthralling match between the pair and our tip is for the United win and over 3.5 goals to be scored at odds of 7/2.

30th Sep 2020

19:00 - Burnley v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

After last Sunday’s humiliating home Premier League defeat to Leicester City, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will be hoping to hit back at the first time of asking on Wednesday night. City travel to Turf Moor to take on Sean Dyche’s Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. Despite last Sunday’s woeful result, the holders are the big favourites to win this one.

Burnley have lost both of their opening Premier League matches so far, losing 4-2 at Leicester and 1-0 at home to Southampton. However, they did win 2-0 at Millwall in the third round of the EFL Cup. Man City were poor against the Foxes last time out, falling to a deserved 5-2 league defeat at the Etihad. Guardiola’s boys will be out for blood in this one, though. We’ll be backing City to win with a -1 goal handicap at Turf Moor at a fair price of evens.

30th Sep 2020

17:30 - Newport v Newcastle

Newcastle United HT/FT @ 11/10

Mike Flynn’s Newport County and Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United clash at Rodney Parade in fourth round Carabao Cup action on Wednesday night. The EFL League Two outfit have had a good run in the cup so far, beating Swansea City, Cambridge United and Watford. Can the Welsh side see off Premier League opposition on Wednesday evening?

Newcastle have made a decent start to their season by their own usually erratic standards, winning three, drawing one and losing one of five league and cup fixtures. The Magpies made light work of League Two opposition in the previous round, thumping Morecambe 7-0. Newcastle should also be too strong for Newport at Rodney Parade in midweek. United were 5-0 up at half time at the Globe Arena, and the Premier League side are priced at odds of 11/10 to be winning at half time and full time on Wednesday which looks like cracking value to us.

29th Sep 2020

19:45 - Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea

Chelsea Win & BTTS @ 5/2

London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea square off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night for a fourth round fixture in the Carabao Cup. With a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs, both teams will be desperate to win this one. Frank Lampard’s troops make the short trip to north London as favourites to progress but Jose isn’t going to want to taste defeat against one of his former clubs so he’ll have his players fired up for this one.

Spurs have had a mixed bag of results at the start of this season. After three league and cup wins on the spin, Mourinho’s men conceded late to draw 1-1 at home with Newcastle United in Premier League action last time out. Chelsea have also made an indifferent start, though they did put six goals past Barnsley without reply in the previous round of the EFL Cup. This could be a close affair, but we can see the Blues nicking it at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The away win and both teams to score is available at fair odds of 5/2.

28th Sep 2020

20:00 - Liverpool v Arsenal

Liverpool HT/FT @ 5/4

Giants Liverpool and Arsenal lock horns at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday night in the biggest game of the round. Something has to give on Merseyside, as both teams have picked up maximum points so far. Unsurprisingly, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are the strong favourites to get the win, but can Mikel Arteta’s Gunners cause an upset at Anfield and continue the revolution?

Liverpool have started the defence of their title with wins over Leeds United and Chelsea. Last weekend, Sadio Mane netted a brace in the 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge. Despite their solid start, this will be a tough test for Arsenal, who won only four away league matches last term and have long been poor on the road. Moreover, Liverpool dropped just two points at Anfield on their way to the title, and they should see off the Londoners on home soil this Monday. We like the look of the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at a general price of 5/4.

28th Sep 2020

17:45 - Fulham v Aston Villa

Aston Villa Win @ 6/4

Scott Parker’s Fulham and Dean Smith’s Aston Villa go head-to-head at Craven Cottage on Monday evening for a Premier League fixture. Having lost both of their opening league matches, Parker’s Cottagers will be desperate for a positive result on home soil. As for Smith’s Villa, can they follow up last week’s win over Sheffield United with another three points?

Fulham are going well in the EFL Cup, but the Cottagers have been beaten by Arsenal and Leeds United in the Premier League, conceding seven times along the way. Aston Villa kicked off their league campaign with a 1-0 win over Sheffield United at Villa Park last Monday. The Villans are the slight favourites at the Cottage, and we can see Smith’s side securing a narrow victory in the capital following on from a good win in midweek. The away win is available at 6/4 and that looks a shade too big to us.

27th Sep 2020

19:00 - West Ham v Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win 2-0 @ 9/1

On Sunday evening at the London Stadium, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers do battle in the Premier League. The Hammers have lost both league matches so far, while Wolves have taken three points from a possible six, having lost to Man City. West Ham will be desperate to get off the mark, but Wanderers are not an easy team to beat under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Wolves have an excellent recent record over the London side. Since they arrived back in the Premier League in 2018, the Midlands outfit have won all four league meetings without conceding a single goal. The Irons will want to avoid a third straight Premier League defeat, but our money is on the visitors in this one. Wolves beat West Ham 2-0 home and away last season, and a repeat scoreline on Sunday is available at very tempting odds of 9/1.

27th Sep 2020

16:30 - Manchester City v Leicester

Manchester City HT/FT @ 5/6

Manchester City will be hoping to make it six points from a possible six when they welcome top of the table Leicester City to the Etihad Stadium in Premier League action on Sunday. Pep Guardiola’s men started their league campaign with an impressive 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux last Monday. The Foxes have made a good start, but Brendan Rodgers’ boys are the big underdogs in this one and would probably settle for a point despite their strong start.

Man City were very good at the Etihad last season, with only champions Liverpool picking up more home points. City won 15 of 19 home league fixtures, including a 3-1 victory over Leicester in December. Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus earned the Citizens a 3-1 win at Wolves last Monday, and Man City will be looking for something similar on Sunday. The hosts are available at 5/6 to be winning at half time and full time and that seems more than fair.

27th Sep 2020

14:00 - Tottenham v Newcastle

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 6/5

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur welcome Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday for a fixture in the Premier League. Spurs were scintillating at St Mary’s last weekend, with Son Heung-Min scoring four, all assisted by Harry Kane, in the 5-2 rout. As for Newcastle, they followed up last weekend’s very disappointing 3-0 home league loss to Brighton & Hove Albion with a morale-boosting 7-0 EFL Cup victory at Morecambe in midweek.

Tottenham responded from their opening weekend loss to Everton by thumping Southampton at St Mary’s in their previous Premier League game. The Magpies won 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last term, but Spurs returned the favour with a 3-1 victory at St James’. Mourinho’s men should see off United on Sunday and there is good value in Tottenham to win -1 at odds of 6/5.

27th Sep 2020

12:00 - Sheffield United v Leeds

Leeds United to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Yorkshire sides Sheffield United and Leeds United lock horns in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture at Bramall Lane this Sunday. The Blades will be searching for all three points after two losses so far. As for Leeds, can the division’s entertainers follow up last Saturday’s 4-3 home win over Fulham with another Premier League victory this weekend?

Sheffield United had a remarkable first season back in the top flight last term, although they have started their 2020-21 campaign with back-to-back defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa. Leeds have been involved in two thrillers, losing 4-3 at Liverpool and beating Fulham by the same score at Elland Road. We fancy Marcelo Bielsa’s boys to edge this South v West Yorkshire derby in Sheffield on Sunday. Check out the solid odds of 10/3 for the visitors to win by exactly one goal.

26th Sep 2020

20:00 - Burnley v Southampton

Burnley to Win 2-1 @ 12/1

Having lost each of their opening three league and cup games of the season, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton could really do with three points in the Premier League this weekend. The Saints make the trip to Turf Moor to play Sean Dyche’s Burnley on Saturday night. Despite their poor start, Southampton head to Lancashire as favourites.

Burnley lost their opening Premier League match of the season at Leicester City last Sunday. However, they have won two out of two in the Carabao Cup, beating Sheffield United and Millwall. Southampton will still be licking their wounds after last weekend’s heavy 5-2 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur. This one could go either way at Turf Moor, but we fancy the hosts to nick a narrow victory on their own patch. You can get top odds of 12/1 for the Clarets to win 2-1.

26th Sep 2020

17:30 - West Brom v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion welcome Frank Lampard’s Chelsea to The Hawthorns for a Premier League fixture on Saturday. The Baggies have found it tough going in the Premier League so far, losing 3-0 at home to Leicester City and 5-2 at Everton. They were also beaten in the EFL Cup by Brentford in midweek. Saturday’s game will be another stern test for Bilic’s boys but they will be desperate to try and stop the rot.

Chelsea brushed aside EFL Championship side Barnsley in the Carabao Cup in midweek, with Kai Havertz helping himself to a hat-trick in the 6-0 romp. That was just what the doctor ordered for the Blues after last weekend’s league loss to champions Liverpool. Lampard’s Chelsea should be too strong for West Brom at The Hawthorns this Saturday. The away side are available at evens to win -1.

26th Sep 2020

12:30 - Wycombe v Swansea

Swansea City Win @ 3/4

Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe Wanderers host Steve Cooper’s Swansea City at Adams Park on Saturday afternoon in EFL Championship action. The Chairboys, who won the EFL League One play-offs last term, have lost both of their league matches thus far, crashing to a heavy 5-0 loss at Blackburn Rovers last time out. How will they fare this weekend?

Swansea will be content with their start and have begun their Championship season with four points from a possible six. After a good 1-0 win against Preston North End at Deepdale on the opening weekend, the Swans drew 0-0 with Birmingham City at the Liberty Stadium last weekend. Wycombe will be desperate for a positive result on home soil after a woeful start, but we can see Cooper’s Swansea taking three points back to South Wales. The away victory is priced at solid looking odds of 3/4.

26th Sep 2020

12:30 - Brighton v Manchester United

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Manchester United travel to the Amex Stadium this Saturday afternoon to play Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League. The Red Devils kicked off their season with a disappointing home defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend, though they did ease past Luton Town in the Carabao Cup in midweek. Can United get a much-needed league win at Brighton?

The Seagulls were excellent at Newcastle United last Sunday, picking up an impressive 3-0 win. Since losing to Chelsea in their Premier League opener, when they probably deserved a draw, Albion have won three league and cup matches on the spin. Graham Potter’s men could be a tough nut to crack this season, especially if they can get things right at the Amex. We can see Brighton holding United to a draw on Saturday. The draw and both teams to score is very nicely priced at odds of 15/4.

25th Sep 2020

19:45 - Huddersfield v Nottingham Forest

Huddersfield Town to Win 2-1 @ 10/1

Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield Town welcome Sabri Lamouchi’s Nottingham Forest to the John Smith’s Stadium for an EFL Championship fixture on Friday night. Both teams have lost all three league and cup games so far, so Friday’s clash in West Yorkshire is a huge fixture for the pair. In the Championship, the Terriers have lost to Norwich City and Brentford, while Forest have been beaten by Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City. Both sides will be desperate for the points as they seek to try and move away from the foot of the table.

In this fixture last season, goals from Christopher Schindler and Steve Mounie gave Town a narrow 2-1 home win. We can see this one being another tight and tense affair at the John Smith’s Stadium, but Huddersfield could just have the edge on their own patch. The 2-1 home win is nicely priced at double-digit odds of 10/1.

24th Sep 2020

20:00 - Willem II v Rangers

Rangers to Win 2-1 @ 8/1

Eredivisie outfit Willem II entertain Scottish Premiership side Rangers in a UEFA Europa League qualifier on Thursday. This promises to be a cracking European fixture at the Koning Willem II Stadion in Tilburg, Holland, but can Steven Gerrard’s men return to Glasgow with a win? The Gers are the bookies’ favourites and whilst the SPL will be the focus, they will also want a good run in Europe too.

Rangers have made an excellent start to their season, winning seven out of nine league and cup matches. However, after last weekend’s frustrating 2-2 league draw with Hibernian, the Teddy Bears will be looking to return to winning ways in Europe this Thursday. Willem, who thumped Heracles 4-0 last time out, will not be an easy nut to crack, but our money is going on a narrow away win. Take a punt on Rangers to win 2-1, which is available at the massive price of 8/1.

24th Sep 2020

20:00 - Sporting Lisbon v Aberdeen

Sporting Lisbon to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

Ruben Amorim’s Sporting Lisbon welcome Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen to the Estadio Jose Alvalade in a UEFA Europa League qualifying fixture on Thursday night. This will be a very tough task for the Scottish Premiership side, who head to Portugal as the big underdogs. Nevertheless, the Dons have won six of their eight league and cup matches this term and will back themselves to cause an upset in Lisbon.

With the Portuguese Liga season yet to get underway, Thursday’s Europa League game will be Sporting’s first competitive fixture of the 2020-21 campaign. In contrast, Aberdeen have already played eight times this term. However, Lisbon are one of the most decorated sides in Portuguese football history, and even if they are a little rusty, Amorim’s men will be extremely hard to topple on Thursday. Back the hosts to win -1 at evens.

24th Sep 2020

20:00 - Bayern Munich v Sevilla

Bayern Munich to Win to Nil @ 7/4

Hans-Dieter Flick’s Bayern Munich take on Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla in the 2020 UEFA Super Cup in Budapest on Thursday night. FC Hollywood, last season’s UEFA Champions League winners, are in red-hot form, winning each of their last 22 matches across all competitions. Will the German giants be too strong for the Spanish side in the Hungarian capital?

Since drawing 0-0 with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga back in February, Bayern have won every league and cup game. In the Champions League final in August, the Bavarians beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0. Also, they kicked off their 2020-21 season with an emphatic 8-0 win over Schalke last Friday. We can see the German champions getting a win and keeping a clean sheet on Thursday. Put some money on Flick’s boys to win to nil in Budapest at solid odds of 7/4.

24th Sep 2020

19:45 - Manchester City v Bournemouth

Manchester City to Win -2 Goals @ 9/4

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City begin the defence of their EFL Cup with a home fixture this week. Bournemouth, who were relegated to the EFL Championship last term, visit the Etihad Stadium in third round action on Thursday night. Man City have won each of their last 10 games against the Cherries and will be looking to make it 11 in a row here. Of course, City are the massive favourites in this one.

Guardiola’s men started their season with a 3-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Monday. As for Jason Tindall’s men, they beat Blackburn Rovers 3-2 before drawing 1-1 with Middlesbrough last weekend. In the second round of the EFL Cup, Bournemouth beat Crystal Palace on penalties. Despite seeing off Premier League opposition in the previous round, we can see the Cherries falling to a heavy defeat in Manchester on Thursday. Both managers will rotate but City have the far superior strength in depth so back them to win -2 at 9/4.

24th Sep 2020

19:45 - Lincoln City v Liverpool

Liverpool HT/FT @ 4/6

Liverpool begin their 2020-21 Carabao Cup campaign with a trip to Sincil Bank to play Michael Appleton’s Lincoln City on Thursday night. The Reds started their season with a penalty shootout defeat to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield, although they have won both of their opening Premier League matches since then. Will Liverpool ease into round four of the EFL Cup?

Lincoln have been excellent so far this season, winning four and drawing one of five league and cup fixtures. However, Thursday’s game against the champions of England will be an arduous task for the EFL League One outfit. Liverpool cruised past Chelsea in the league last time out, and Jurgen Klopp’s men will surely be too strong for Lincoln in the cup on Thursday. The Reds will make a lot of changes but even so, have a punt on the away team to be winning at half time and full time at 4/6.

24th Sep 2020

19:00 - Shkendija v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur are in Macedonia on Thursday in UEFA Europa League qualifying action. Spurs make the trip to the Tose Proeski National Arena to face Macedonian First League side Shkendija. This will not be an easy European tie for the Premier League team, but the north Londoners head to Macedonia as the strong favourites and have begun to settle into their season after a shaky start.

Shkendija finished third in their domestic league last term, picking up one of the Europa League places. So far, the Macedonian outfit have beaten Sumqayit and Botosani in the previous rounds. Tottenham left it late to see off Lokomotiv Plovdiv last week, coming from behind to win 2-1 in Bulgaria. Spurs should win this one, but it could be a tricky evening for Mourinho’s men. The Tottenham win and both teams to score is nicely priced at very chunky odds of 2/1.

24th Sep 2020

18:30 - Hapoel Beer Sheva v Motherwell

Hapoel Beer Sheva to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Stephen Robinson’s Motherwell travel to the HaMoshava Stadium to face Yossi Abukasis’ Hapoel Beer Sheva this Thursday in UEFA Europa League qualifying. This will be a tricky contest for the Scottish Premiership side, who head to Israel as the underdogs. Nevertheless, can the Steelmen cause an upset and secure a memorable away win in Europe?

Hapoel finished fourth in the Israeli Premier League last term, but the club won Israel’s top division three years in a row from 2016 to 2018. Motherwell edged past Northern Ireland side Coleraine on penalties in the previous round, but Beer Sheva will be formidable opponents for the Scottish team on Thursday night. We can see the hosts snatching a win in this one. There is good value in big odds of 11/4 for Hapoel to win by one goal.

24th Sep 2020

18:00 - Riga v Celtic

Celtic to Win -1 Goal @ 4/6

Neil Lennon takes his Celtic side to the Baltics on Thursday to play Latvian champions Riga in a UEFA Europa League qualifier. The Scottish giants will be desperate to book their place in this season’s Europa League after being dumped out of the UEFA Champions League in the qualifiers. The Hoops head to Riga as the clear favourites.

Since their disappointing exit from the Champions League, Celtic have hit back with four successive Scottish Premiership wins. The Bhoys have made a solid start domestically, dropping just two points so far. This is a massive game for the Hoops, but Lennon’s men should get the job done at the Skonto Stadium. We fancy the Scottish champions to secure a comfortable win in Riga. You can get the tempting odds of 4/6 for Celtic to win -1 on Thursday.

23rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Morecambe v Newcastle United

Newcastle United HT/FT @ 5/6

Steve Bruce takes his Newcastle United troops to the Mazuma Stadium in Lancashire on Wednesday night to play Derek Adams’ Morecambe in the third round of the Carabao Cup. After last Sunday’s poor showing against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League, the Magpies will be desperate to avoid a cup upset in midweek.

Morecambe have had a mixed start to their season. Adams’ side have won three of their five league and cup matches, though the Shrimps were walloped 5-0 at home by Cambridge United in EFL League Two last time out. Newcastle had sealed back-to-back wins over West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers before Sunday’s shock 3-0 home loss to Brighton. United will be out for blood in this one. Back Newcastle to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 5/6.

23rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Leicester City v Arsenal

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Premier League sides Leicester City and Arsenal square off in the third round of the Carabao Cup at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night in what many will see as the tie of the round. This should be a fascinating cup match between two evenly matched teams, but who will book their spot in round four? The Gunners may be away from home, but Mikel Arteta’s boys head to the Midlands as favourites with the bookies.

Both Leicester and Arsenal have won two out of two in the Premier League so far. Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes have beaten West Bromwich Albion and Burnley, while Arteta’s Gunners have seen off Fulham and West Ham United. The pair are hard to split, and we fancy this tie to go the distance at the King Power. Take a punt on the draw and both teams to score in the 90 minutes at odds of 10/3.

23rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Fleetwood Town v Everton

Everton to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town entertain Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton at Highbury Stadium in Carabao Cup action on Wednesday. The Toffees have made a bright start to their season, winning two out of two in the Premier League and easing past Salford City in the EFL Cup. Can Ancelotti’s men make it four wins out of four in midweek?

Fleetwood won four in a row in all competitions before last weekend’s 2-1 league loss at Peterborough United. Barton’s side will be pushing for the play-offs in EFL League One again this season, but their League Cup journey will surely come to an end on Wednesday. Everton have looked good so far this term, and we fancy the Merseyside outfit to make it four league and cup wins on the spin. Back Everton to win with a -1 goal handicap at a very fair price of 11/10.

23rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Chelsea v Barnsley

Chelsea to Win -2 Goals @ 11/8

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea entertain Gerhard Struber’s Barnsley at Stamford Bridge this Wednesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup. The Blues are one of the favourites to win this competition this season, and Lampard will be taking this game very seriously. Chelsea head into this home tie as the overwhelming favourites to get the win.

After last Sunday’s Premier League loss to champions Liverpool, the Londoners will be eager to strike back with a win at the first time of asking. The Tykes have had a poor start in the EFL Championship, losing two out of two matches so far, but the Yorkshire side have beaten Nottingham Forest and Reading in the cup. This will be a tough match for Barnsley, and Chelsea will surely ease into round four. We like the look of the home team to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 11/8 in a game they should win at a canter.

23rd Sep 2020

19:00 - Fulham v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday Win @ 10/3

Scott Parker’s Fulham and Garry Monk’s Sheffield Wednesday lock horns on Wednesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup. The Cottagers are the favourites to win this tie at Craven Cottage, but can the EFL Championship Owls cause the Premier League team one or two problems? This promises to be an intriguing cup clash in the capital.

Fulham have started life back in the Premier League with back-to-back losses to Fulham and Leeds United. However, they did beat Ipswich Town away from home in the previous round of the EFL Cup. Wednesday suffered a points deduction in the Championship, but the Owls have won three and drawn one of their four league and cup fixtures thus far. We are backing Monk’s men to secure a narrow win at the Cottage in midweek. The Wednesday victory is priced at decent odds of 10/3.

22nd Sep 2020

20:15 - Luton v Manchester United

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United travel to Kenilworth Road this Tuesday to play Nathan Jones’ Luton Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup. After last weekend’s disappointing result and performance against Crystal Palace in the league, the Red Devils will be desperate to secure their first win of the season on Tuesday.

United were poor last Saturday, losing 3-1 at home to Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. As for Luton, they have won four out of four at the start of this season, beating four Championship clubs in the league and cup. The Hatters will fancy their chances of upsetting United in midweek, but the Premier League team should edge this one at Kenilworth Road. Back Man United to win and both teams to score, which is available at the decent price of 2/1.

22nd Sep 2020

19:30 - West Ham v Hull City

West Ham United to Win Both Halves @ 5/2

Premier League West Ham United entertain Hull City of EFL League One at the London Stadium in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday night. As expected, the Hammers are the clear favourites to get the victory and progress through to round four. However Grant McCann’s Tigers will be doing all they can to cause an upset in the capital, even if it is a tough task.

After league defeats to Newcastle United and Arsenal, David Moyes’ West Ham will be hoping to follow up their comfortable win over Charlton Athletic with another easy victory over League One opposition in the EFL Cup this Tuesday. The Irons have some tricky-looking Premier League matches on the horizon (with Wolves, Leicester, Spurs, Man City and Liverpool all coming up before the end of October), so they could really do with a win in the cup on Tuesday to help them build some momentum. United should be too strong for Hull at the London Stadium, and we like the look of the hosts to win both halves at a price of 5/2.

22nd Sep 2020

19:00 - West Brom v Brentford

Brentford to Win by One Goal @ 15/4

Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion and Thomas Frank’s Brentford square off in an intriguing EFL Cup clash at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night. These two teams went head-to-head for promotion from the EFL Championship last season, with the Baggies pipping the Bees to second spot by just two points in the end. Who will come out on top in the Carabao Cup in midweek?

West Brom have had a difficult start to their Premier League season, losing 3-0 at home to Leicester City and 5-2 at Everton. Brentford have secured back-to-back wins over Southampton and Huddersfield Town. Despite this tie taking place at The Hawthorns, we fancy Frank’s Bees to secure a narrow win and book their spot in the next round. Back Brentford to win by a one goal margin at odds of 15/4.

22nd Sep 2020

18:00 - Leyton Orient v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -2 Goals @ 11/4

Tottenham Hotspur’s busy schedule continues on Tuesday evening as Jose Mourinho’s men face EFL League Two outfit Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road in the third round of the Carabao Cup. After Tuesday’s match, the Lilywhites travel to Macedonia for a UEFA Europa League game on Thursday. Jose will change up his starting XI for both fixtures no doubt, and his squad should have enough quality to see off Orient in the cup.

The O’s have made a fine start to their season, winning four and drawing one of five league and cup matches thus far. However, Tuesday’s clash against one of the Premier League’s big boys will be a tough task for Ross Embleton’s troops to say the least. Tottenham will be looking for a comfortable evening in east London, and they should ease past the League Two side. Put some money on the visitors to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 11/4.

21st Sep 2020

20:15 - Wolves v Manchester City

Manchester City Win & BTTS @ 21/10

Manchester City’s Premier League season gets underway with a tricky game at Molineux on Monday night. Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers kicked off their campaign with a comfortable 2-0 victory at Sheffield United. Wolves are second favourites in this one, but can Nuno’s boys cause an upset on Monday?

Watching Liverpool dominate the Premier League last season will have certainly hurt Pep Guardiola and his Man City troops. Nevertheless, City are the favourites to win the title this term, with the bookies pricing them at odds of just 5/6. Molineux is a tough place to go these days, and Wolves beat the Citizens home and away in the Premier League last term. However, we fancy Man City to edge this one. The away victory and both teams to score has caught our eye at a fair price of 21/10.

21st Sep 2020

18:00 - Aston Villa v Sheffield United

Aston Villa Win @ 17/10

Dean Smith’s Aston Villa get their Premier League season up and running with a game against Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United at Villa Park on Monday evening. The Villans warmed up for their league opener with a 3-1 win at Burton Albion in the second round of the Carabao Cup last Tuesday. Can the West Midlands club pick up maximum points from this one?

Sheffield United’s 2020-21 Premier League season got off to a losing start, as two early goals gave Wolverhampton Wanderers a 2-0 victory at Bramall Lane. On Thursday night in the EFL Cup, the Blades lost on penalties to Burnley at Turf Moor. Villa won their last two home games of last season as they edged towards safety, and we can see them starting this season with three points at Villa Park on Monday. The home win is available at odds of 17/10 which looks a very decent price to us.

20th Sep 2020

19:00 - Leicester City v Burnley

Draw & BTTS @ 9/2

Sean Dyche’s Burnley start their 2020-21 Premier League season with a tough trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City on Sunday night. The Foxes kicked off their league campaign with an impressive 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion last Sunday, with Jamie Vardy scoring a brace and Timothy Castagne also finding the net. Can City make it six points from an available six or will ever-stubborn Burnley stifle the home side?

Each of the last three Leicester versus Burnley meetings have ended in 2-1 scorelines, with the Foxes winning two of those. The Clarets are a tough nut to crack, as has been the case for many years now under Dyche’s guidance, and the Lancashire club will be desperate to start their season with a positive result in the East Midlands at the weekend. This could be another close encounter between the pair, so take a punt on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 9/2.

20th Sep 2020

16:30 - Chelsea v Liverpool

Liverpool to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Heavyweights Chelsea and Liverpool do battle at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this Sunday afternoon. Frank Lampard’s men started their league season with a 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium last Monday, while the Reds’ title defence started with an action-packed 4-3 home victory over plucky Leeds United. Who will come out on top in this mouth-watering match at the Bridge on Sunday?

These two giants met four times in various competitions last season, with Liverpool winning three of those. Overall, there were a staggering 17 goals netted across the four fixtures. Jurgen Klopp’s boys did the league double over Chelsea on their way to the Premier League title, and they could well have enough to edge this one in the capital. Put some money on the champions to win by a one goal margin at odds of 3/1.

20th Sep 2020

14:00 - Newcastle v Brighton

Newcastle United to Win to Nil @ 3/1

Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United entertain Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion at St James’ Park in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. The Magpies have had a good start to their season, winning at West Ham United in the league and beating Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup. Can Bruce’s boys make it three league and cup victories on the spin this weekend?

Newcastle kicked off their Premier League season with an impressive 2-0 win at West Ham, with Callum Wilson and Jeff Hendrick netting on their debuts. As for Brighton, they were beaten 3-1 at home by Frank Lampard’s Chelsea last Monday. The Magpies have looked good so far, and they should secure all three points from this one. United have yet to concede this term, and we like the look of Newcastle to win to nil on Sunday at a fair price of 3/1.

20th Sep 2020

12:00 - Southampton v Tottenham

Southampton Win @ 9/4

After losing at home to Everton last weekend, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bounce back and claim all three points when they travel to St Mary’s to take on Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton this Sunday. However, Spurs have an extremely busy week, as they travel to Bulgaria to play Lokomotiv Plovdiv in UEFA Europa League action this Thursday. Can Southampton make home advantage count in this one?

Both sides were beaten 1-0 on the opening weekend of the 2020-21 Premier League season. The Saints lost to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, while Tottenham were deservedly beaten by Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday. The Saints have won the last two league games between the pair at St Mary’s, and the home team look good value at odds of 9/4 to take maximum points from this one against a Spurs side who haven’t been at the top of their game for a while now.

19th Sep 2020

20:00 - Arsenal v West Ham

Arsenal to Win Both Halves @ 11/4

London sides Arsenal and West Ham United meet at the Emirates Stadium in Premier League action on Saturday night. The Gunners cruised to a comfortable win at Fulham on the opening weekend, while the Hammers were beaten at home by Newcastle United in a very disappointing display. As you would expect, Arsenal are the big favourites to take all three points from this one.

Mikel Arteta’s troops were far too strong for Scott Parker’s Cottagers last weekend. Goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang earned the Gunners a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage. Arsenal started their season with a win over Liverpool in the FA Community Shield. West Ham eased past Charlton Athletic in the EFL Cup in midweek, but they lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle in their Premier League opener last weekend. Back Arsenal to win both halves of this one at a decent-looking price of 11/4.

19th Sep 2020

17:30 - Man United v Crystal Palace

Manchester United to Win -1 Goal @ 10/11

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United get their 2020-21 Premier League season up and running this weekend. On Saturday evening, the Red Devils welcome Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace to Old Trafford. In this fixture back in August last season, the Eagles flew away from Manchester with a shock 2-1 win. Can Palace cause another upset at Old Trafford or will the home side get off to a positive start to the new campaign?

The south Londoners kicked off their season with a hard-fought victory over Southampton at Selhurst Park last weekend, with Wilfried Zaha’s early goal giving them a narrow 1-0 win. However, Palace were beaten on penalties by Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening. United will be raring to get the new season underway, and Solskjaer’s side will fancy their chances of picking up maximum points from this home fixture. Take a punt on the Red Devils to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 10/11.

19th Sep 2020

12:30 - Nottingham Forest v Cardiff

Cardiff City to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Sabri Lamouchi’s Nottingham Forest and Neil Harris’s Cardiff City do battle at the City Ground in EFL Championship action on Saturday afternoon. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from opening weekend defeats. The Bluebirds have an excellent recent record over the Reds, but Forest head into this one as the slight favourites with the bookies.

Nottingham Forest started their league season with a 2-0 loss at Queens Park Rangers. Cardiff were also beaten 2-0, as Garry Monk’s Sheffield Wednesday left the Cardiff City Stadium with all three points last Saturday. Both fixtures between Forest and Cardiff were tight and tense affairs last season, and this could be another close one. Check out the tempting odds of 10/3 for the Bluebirds to win by one goal at the City Ground.

19th Sep 2020

12:30 - Everton v West Brom

Everton to Win to Nil @ 8/5

After last weekend’s impressive win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Everton will be looking for another three points when West Bromwich Albion visit Goodison Park in the Premier League this Saturday. The Toffees were excellent at Spurs, and Carlo Ancelotti’s men are the clear favourites in this one. Can Everton make it six points from a possible six or will they come unstuck against newly promoted West Brom?

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s header was enough to give the Merseysiders a deserved 1-0 victory at Tottenham last weekend. As for the Baggies, they were easily beaten by Leicester City at The Hawthorns, as Jamie Vardy dispatched two penalties to help the Foxes to a 3-0 win. After last Sunday’s superb display, we fancy Everton to secure a comfortable home victory this Saturday. You can get a decent price of 8/5 for the home side to win to nil.

18th Sep 2020

19:45 - Coventry v QPR

1-1 Draw @ 5/1

Coventry City and Queens Park Rangers clash at St Andrew’s in EFL Championship action on Friday night. After gaining promotion from EFL League One as champions last term, the Sky Blues will be desperate to stay up this season. Having started with a loss, City could really do with all three points from this one. Can Coventry get the win on Friday night?

Mark Robins’ men were narrowly beaten by Bristol City last weekend, losing 2-1 at Ashton Gate. As for Mark Warburton’s QPR, they surprised a few by beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. This is a tough one to call, as both teams look for the three points in Birmingham. Neither is likely to take too many risks however and we fancy the pair to cancel each other out. As such we’ll be backing the 1-1 draw at decent odds of 5/1.

17th Sep 2020

19:45 - Brighton v Portsmouth

Brighton & Hove Albion Win & BTTS @ 11/4

On Thursday night in the Carabao Cup, Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Kenny Jackett’s Portsmouth to the Amex Stadium. The Seagulls are the clear favourites to get the win on home soil, but EFL League One side Pompey could be a tough nut to crack for the Premier League team. This promises to be an intriguing cup clash on the south coast.

Brighton’s Premier League opener ended in defeat, as Albion were beaten at home by Frank Lampard’s Chelsea on Monday night. As for Portsmouth, they started their League One campaign with a 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury Town at Fratton Park last Saturday. This will be the first meeting between the sides since March 2012 so there’s no recent head to head to go on. Brighton should edge it, however, and there is good value in the odds of 11/4 for the Seagulls to win and both teams to score.

17th Sep 2020

19:30 - Viking v Aberdeen

Aberdeen to Win 2-1 @ 9/1

Bjarne Berntsen’s Viking and Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen go head-to-head at the Viking Stadion in Stavanger for a second round qualifying tie in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. This will be a tough task for the Dons, but can the Scottish Premiership side get past the Norwegians and book their place in the third qualifying round?

McInnes’s men have been in excellent form of late, winning five league and cup games in a row since losing 1-0 to Rangers on the opening weekend of the Premiership season back on 1st August. In the previous round of the Europa League, Aberdeen thumped Runavik of Iceland 6-0 at Pittodrie, with Ryan Hedges helping himself to a hat-trick. We can see the Dandies edging this one in Norway. The 2-1 away win is nicely priced at odds of 9/1.

17th Sep 2020

19:30 - Coleraine v Motherwell

Motherwell to Win -1 Goal @ 9/5

Northern Ireland side Coleraine welcome Scottish team Motherwell to The Showgrounds for a UEFA Europa League qualifier on Thursday night. The Scottish Premiership team head to Northern Ireland as the clear favourites with the bookies, but this is a huge occasion for the Bannsiders of Coleraine, who finished second in the 2019-20 NIFL Premiership. Can Oran Kearney’s men cause another upset on Thursday?

Coleraine pulled off a monumental shock in the first round, beating 15-time Slovenian champions Maribor away from home. After a 1-1 draw, the side from Northern Ireland went on to win 5-4 on penalties. As for Motherwell, they eased past Glentoran, who also ply their trade in the NIFL Premiership. Coleraine will no doubt have a real go on home turf, but we fancy Stephen Robinson’s men to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 9/5.

17th Sep 2020

19:00 - Wolves v Stoke City

Wolverhampton Wanderers HT/FT @ 6/4

Wolverhampton Wanderers entertain Stoke City on Thursday for a second round tie in the Carabao Cup. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were strong at Molineux in the Premier League last season, losing just four times. When these two teams last met, Wolves picked up a 2-0 win at Stoke in the FA Cup back in January 2017.

Wolves started their Premier League season with an impressive 2-0 win at Sheffield United on Monday night, with early goals from Raul Jimenez and Romain Saiss doing the damage. Stoke kicked off their EFL Championship campaign with a 0-0 draw at Millwall. Wanderers are a hard team to play against these days, and we fancy Wolves to cruise into round three. Take a punt on the home team to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 6/4.

17th Sep 2020

17:00 - Lokomotiv v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -2 Goals @ 6/4

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to the Lokomotiv Stadium this Thursday to face Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second round of UEFA Europa League qualifying. Spurs will be looking to see off the Bulgarian First League side and book their spot in the next qualifying round. This should be an easy win for Mourinho’s men.

Tottenham’s 2020-21 Premier League campaign got off to the worse possible start last weekend, as Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a deserved 1-0 win. However, with games coming thick and fast, Spurs cannot afford to feel sorry for themselves. Jose will be looking for a response from his players, and the Premier League outfit should be too strong for the Bulgarian minnows on Thursday. Back Tottenham to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 6/4.

17th Sep 2020

16:00 - Lincoln Red Imps v Rangers

Rangers to Win 2-0 @ 6/1

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers are in UEFA Europa League qualifying action on Thursday night. Gerrard takes his Gers to the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar to play William Amaral de Andrade’s Lincoln Red Imps in the second qualifying round. The Glasgow giants have made a stunning start to their Scottish Premiership campaign, winning six and drawing one of their seven games so far. Can they take their league form into Europe?

Lincoln Red Imps ended their 2019-20 season in third place in the Gibraltar National League which, it has to be said, isn’t the greatest standard. In the first Europa League qualifying round, Lincoln beat Luxembourg outfit Union Titus Petange, though again, there is little pedigree to speak of here. Rangers have been excellent in the Premiership so far, dropping just two points and conceding no goals from seven games. We fancy the Light Blues to keep a clean sheet on Thursday and the odds of 6/1 for a 2-0 away win is standing out for us.

16th Sep 2020

20:15 - Everton v Salford City

Everton to Win Both Halves @ 6/5

Premier League Everton welcome EFL League Two side Salford City to Goodison Park in Carabao Cup action on Wednesday night. The Toffees were mightily impressive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, kicking off their Premier League season with a deserved 1-0 away win. Can Carlo Ancelotti’s men follow that up with a comfortable home victory in the cup in midweek?

Everton were excellent at Tottenham last weekend, with a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header giving the Toffees a 1-0 victory on the road. Salford started their League Two campaign with a 2-2 home draw with Exeter City. Whatever starting line-up Ancelotti chooses to field should be too strong for the Ammies on Wednesday night. You can get the top price of 6/5 for Everton to win both halves of this cup tie at Goodison, which looks decent value to us.

16th Sep 2020

19:45 - St Mirren v Celtic

Celtic to Win -2 Goals @ 13/10

Neil Lennon’s Celtic are back in Scottish Premiership action on Wednesday, as the champions travel to St Mirren Park to take on Jim Goodwin’s St Mirren. Since drawing 1-1 at Kilmarnock on matchday two, the Hoops have won each of their last three Premiership games, scoring nine and conceding none. Can the Bhoys make it four league wins on the spin this Wednesday?

St Mirren head into this one having lost back-to-back games. Last weekend, the Buddies were beaten 3-0 at home by Hibernian. Celtic picked up a thumping 5-0 victory at Ross County last time out, with five different players getting on the scoresheet. This should be another walk in the park for Lennon’s Bhoys. Check out the tempting odds of 13/10 for the champions to win with a -2 goal handicap at St Mirren Park in midweek.

16th Sep 2020

19:45 - Leeds United v Hull City

Leeds United to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

Leeds United and Hull City go head-to-head at Elland Road in the second round of the EFL Cup in midweek. Marcelo Bielsa’s men were outstanding at Anfield in the Premier League last weekend against last season’s champions, though they were beaten 4-3 in the end. As for the Tigers, they started life in EFL League One with a decent 2-0 win at Gillingham.

These two teams met in the EFL Championship last season. Leeds won both games with ease, following up a 2-0 victory at Elland Road with an emphatic 4-0 win at the KCOM Stadium. United’s season ended with the title, while Hull finished rock bottom of the Championship. On paper, this should be an easy home win, and we fancy Leeds to cruise into round three. Have a punt on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 11/10.

15th Sep 2020

19:45 - Burton Albion v Aston Villa

Aston Villa HT/FT @ 13/10

EFL League One outfit Burton Albion entertain Premier League Aston Villa at the Pirelli Stadium in the EFL Cup this Tuesday night. Jake Buxton’s boys have had a tough start to their season, losing 2-1 at Fleetwood Town in their league opener last weekend. As for Villa, Tuesday’s cup fixture in Staffordshire will be their first match of the 2020-21 campaign.

These two sides met in the 2017-18 Championship season, with Aston Villa winning both fixtures. However, the pair squared off in the EFL Cup in August 2018, which Burton won 1-0. Dean Smith’s Villans will have one eye on next Monday’s Premier League clash with Sheffield United, but they should see off the Brewers in the cup in midweek and this will serve as a decent warm-up match before their league season gets underway. Put some money on Villa to be winning at half time and full time at a decent price of 13/10.

15th Sep 2020

19:30 - Newcastle v Blackburn

Newcastle United to Win 2-1 @ 15/2

Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United welcome Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers to St James’ Park in the second round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night. After an impressive win at West Ham United in the Premier League last weekend, can the Magpies follow that up with victory in the EFL Cup in midweek? Rovers could be a tough nut to crack, but United are the rightful favourites.

Newcastle started their league campaign with an impressive 2-0 win at the London Stadium last Saturday, with debutants Callum Wilson and Jeff Hendrick getting the goals in the capital. Blackburn played their part in a five-goal thriller at Bournemouth on the opening weekend of the EFL Championship season, eventually falling to a 3-2 defeat. We think the top flight side will have enough ammunition to get the job done here so we’ll be putting a few quid on the 2-1 Newcastle win this Tuesday at odds of 15/2.

15th Sep 2020

19:30 - West Ham v Charlton

West Ham United Win & BTTS @ 9/4

West Ham United and Charlton Athletic lock horns in an all-London EFL Cup affair at the London Stadium on Tuesday night. This will be the first meeting between the two sides since the Addicks thumped the Hammers 4-0 in a Premier League match way back in February 2007. West Ham are the big favourites, but can Charlton cause an upset in Stratford?

United’s season got off to the worst possible start as they were beaten 2-0 at home by Newcastle United last weekend. As for Athletic, they started their EFL League One campaign with a 2-0 win at Crewe Alexandra last time out. Charlton will have a go at the London Stadium, but West Ham’s Premier League quality should shine through. Take a look at the home win and both teams to score at betting odds of 9/4.

14th Sep 2020

20:15 - Brighton v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win -2 Goals @ 4/1

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea kick off their 2020-21 Premier League season with a trip to the Amex Stadium to take on Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday night. Lampard did a sensational job in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge last term, guiding the Blues to the UEFA Champions League. Having made a number of superstar signings over the summer, can Chelsea challenge for the title this season? They will certainly be expecting to get a win here.

Brighton had another tough time in the Premier League last term. The Seagulls struggled on their own patch, with just Bournemouth, Southampton and Norwich City picking up fewer home points. Chelsea had the fourth best away record in the division and with confidence high due to their activity in the transfer market they should prove too good here. Lampard’s troops should leave the Amex with a comfortable victory on Monday so back the Blues to win -2 at big odds of 4/1.

14th Sep 2020

18:00 - Sheffield United v Wolves

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United and Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers meet at Bramall Lane on Monday night in Premier League action. Both of these teams enjoyed excellent campaigns last time around and will hope to build on that. The Blades finished in ninth position in the table last term, while Wolves were five points above in seventh. This fascinating fixture in Sheffield on Monday could go either way and fans of both sides will be chomping at the bit come Monday night.

United had a season to remember following promotion from the EFL Championship at the end of the 2018-19 campaign. Wilder’s men were particularly solid at Bramall Lane last term, winning 10 of 19 league fixtures on their own patch. As for Wolves, only five clubs picked up more away points than Nuno’s boys in the top tier last season. We can see this one ending in an entertaining draw on Monday night. Put some money on the draw and both teams to score at 4/1.

13th Sep 2020

16:30 - Tottenham Hotspur v Everton

Tottenham Hotspur to Win 1-0 @ 7/1

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur and Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton lock horns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the opening weekend of the Premier League season. Spurs finished in sixth last term, while the Toffees ended up in 12th, positions that are unlikely to have satisfied either set of supporters. Back in July, Spurs picked up a 1-0 victory over Everton on home turf. Can Tottenham secure another home win over the Merseyside outfit this Sunday or will the Toffees cause an upset?

Tottenham certainly improved under Mourinho towards the end of last season, with the club winning four and drawing two of their last six games in the Premier League. As for the Toffees, they claimed just one victory from their last six matches of the 2019-20 season and need to rediscover some energy in order to get back into the winning spirit. Both teams will be desperate for a positive result on the opening weekend, but we can see Tottenham edging this one in the capital. You can get the tempting odds of 7/1 for a 1-0 Spurs win, which looks good value to us.

13th Sep 2020

14:00 - West Brom v Leicester City

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

West Bromwich Albion welcome Leicester City to The Hawthorns in Premier League action on Sunday. The Baggies are back in the top tier of English football after finishing runners-up to Leeds United in the EFL Championship last term. However, this weekend’s clash against Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes will be a stern test for Slaven Bilic’s boys. The top flight new boys will be eager to get off to a positive start but Leicester are likely to see this as a match they should win if they are going to challenge for the Champions League places this season.

After two years in the second tier, West Brom are back in the Premier League after a solid campaign in the second tier. The Baggies have a tough start, though, as they play Everton and Chelsea in their next two games after this one. Leicester ran out of steam last season but still finished in fifth to secure UEFA Europa League football. The Foxes will view that as a disappointment though after looking fairly comfortable in the top four for large portions of the season. This game could be close on the scoreline, but we fancy City to seal a narrow win. Leicester are priced at odds of 11/4 to win by one goal, and that’s the bet for us.

12th Sep 2020

20:00 - West Ham v Newcastle

1-1 Draw @ 6/1

Saturday evening’s game in the Premier League takes place at the London Stadium in the capital, as David Moyes’ West Ham United host Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United. These two look well matched on paper, but the Hammers are the slight favourites with the bookies. Last season, the Magpies won 3-2 in this fixture, while the pair drew 2-2 at St James’ Park.

West Ham sailed far too close to the wind in terms of relegation last term, though they did end up finishing five points clear of the bottom three. Newcastle accumulated 44 points, five more than the Irons. Both would love to kick off the 2020-21 season with three points, but we fancy the sides to cancel each other out at the London Stadium. Check out the 1-1 draw, which is available at the very decent price of 6/1.

12th Sep 2020

17:30 - Liverpool v Leeds United

Liverpool HT/FT @ 4/5

Talking of tough starts, things couldn’t be much more difficult for another promoted side, Leeds. Premier League champions Liverpool welcome EFL Championship champions Leeds United to Anfield on the opening weekend of the 2020-21 Premier League season. After several years away from England’s top tier, the West Yorkshire side are finally back in the big time. However, they could not have asked for a tougher start. Will Jurgen Klopp’s men be far too strong at Anfield?

Liverpool had an exceptional 2019-20 season, racking up a staggering 99 points to win their first English title for 30 years. Klopp’s men won 18 of 19 home league fixtures along the way, dropping just two points from a possible 57. Leeds had the best away record in the Championship, but this will be a daunting challenge for Marcelo Bielsa’s boys. We are backing Liverpool to be leading at half time and full time at nice odds of 4/5.

12th Sep 2020

12:30 - Birmingham City v Brentford

Brentford to Win to Nil @ 21/10

On Saturday afternoon, Thomas Frank takes his Brentford side to the Midlands to play Aitor Karanka’s Birmingham City at St Andrew’s. The Bees, last season’s losing Championship play-off finalists, will be looking for all three points on the opening weekend but for the second summer running they have sold their main striker.

Brentford had an exceptional season last time around, finishing third and reaching the play-off final at Wembley Stadium. It ended in tears against Fulham, but the Londoners are one of the favourites for promotion this term. In the other dugout, the experienced Karanka is the new man in charge at Birmingham, but the Blues could be set for another season of struggle in the second tier. We can see Brentford winning this one, and there is good value in the away win to nil at best odds of 21/10.

12th Sep 2020

12:30 - Fulham v Arsenal

Arsenal to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

The 2020-21 Premier League season kicks off this Saturday with an all-London affair between top flight new boys Fulham and Arsenal at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers were promoted from the EFL Championship via the play-offs last season, while the Gunners finished down in eighth spot in the Premier League. Arsenal have a good recent record over Fulham, and Mikel Arteta’s men will be gunning for maximum points at the Cottage this Saturday.

Scott Parker’s men won five of their last seven regular Championship matches before beating Cardiff City over two legs in the play-off semi-finals. Fulham then got the better of London rivals Brentford in the final at Wembley Stadium. On the whole, Arsenal had a poor 2019-20 season, but they did show an improvement under Arteta and have won the FA Cup and Community Shield recently. This is a tough start for Fulham, so back the away team to win -1 at Craven Cottage at 6/4.

11th Sep 2020

19:45 - Watford v Middlesbrough

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

The 2020-21 EFL Championship season gets underway on Friday night after a shorter than usual break, as Watford welcome Middlesbrough to Vicarage Road. The Hornets, now managed by former Maccabi Tel Aviv and PAOK boss Vladimir Ivic, will be looking for an instant return to the Premier League after suffering relegation from the top flight last term. As for Boro, they will want to push for the play-offs after a decent finish to an otherwise troublesome campaign last season.

Watford are among the favourites for promotion, but Boro could be a tough nut to crack under the experienced Neil Warnock. The 71 year old guided Middlesbrough to four wins from five away matches at the end of last season to guide them away from the relegation danger than plagued them for much of the season. When these two last met, the pair played out a goalless draw in the Premier League back in January 2017. We anticipate another stalemate between the two on Friday night but this time with some goals for the fans to enjoy. Take a punt on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 15/4.

8th Sep 2020

19:45 - France v Croatia

France HT/FT @ 15/8

France and Croatia lock horns in UEFA Nations League action on Tuesday night. This mouth-watering match at the Stade de France will be a repeat of the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, which Les Bleus won 4-2 in Moscow. Didier Deschamps’ men are the strong favourites to win this one on home soil, but can the Croatians get some revenge?

France secured a 1-0 victory at the Friends Arena in Sweden on matchday one of the 2020-21 Nations League, with Kylian Mbappe scoring the only goal of the game. As for Croatia, they were thumped 4-1 by Portugal in Porto. The French will be looking to make it two wins from two in League A, Group 3 on Tuesday night. Put some money on the home side to be leading at half time and full time at odds of 15/8.

8th Sep 2020

19:45 - Denmark v England

England to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark welcome Gareth Southgate’s England to the Parken Stadium on Tuesday night for a UEFA Nations League fixture. The Danes started their League A, Group 2 campaign with a home defeat to Belgium, while the Three Lions picked up a narrow win in Reykjavik. Can the English make it six points from a possible six on Tuesday?

Goals from Jason Denayer and Dries Mertens were enough to give the Belgians a 2-0 victory in Copenhagen last Saturday. That was Denmark’s first defeat in any competition for two years. England’s victory in Iceland was their fourth win in a row and though it was far from a vintage performance, Southgate’s men did just about enough to justify the victory. Raheem Sterling’s injury-time penalty won it at Laugardalsvollur. This could be another tight one, but our money is going on another narrow England win. Back the away side to win by a one goal margin at odds of 11/4.

7th Sep 2020

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Norway

1-1 Draw @ 9/2

After travelling to Romania to kick off their 2020-21 UEFA Nations League campaign, Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland welcome Lars Lagerback’s Norway to Windsor Park for a matchday two fixture on Monday. Norn Iron are the favourites to get the win on home soil, but the Norwegians could be tricky opponents in Belfast, despite not being as strong as they have been in the past.

Northern Ireland had a poor inaugural Nations League campaign a couple of years back, crashing to four defeats from four and shipping seven goals. They will be looking to fare much better this time around. These two last met in FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying, with both teams winning the home fixture. This could go either way at Windsor Park, but we can see the pair cancelling each other out. Put some money on the 1-1 draw, which is nicely priced at 9/2.

7th Sep 2020

19:45 - Czech Republic v Scotland

Czech Republic HT/FT @ 19/10

Steve Clarke takes his Scotland troops to the Andruv Stadion in Olomouc on Monday to face Jaroslav Silhavy’s Czech Republic in a UEFA Nations League fixture. Slovakia and Israel are also in League B, Group 2, with the Scots kicking off their campaign against the Israelis at Hampden Park before Monday’s trip. This will be a stern test for Scotland, as the home team are the favourites to get all three points from this Nations League fixture and well fancied to top the group.

The Scots performed well in the first Nations League, gaining promotion to League B after winning their League C group. Scotland will have to go some to repeat that feat this time around, though. The Czechs are the favourites to win the group, and Silhavy’s side should be too strong for the Scots in Olomouc on Monday. Back the home team to be leading at half time and full time (19/10).

7th Sep 2020

19:45 - Netherlands v Italy

Netherlands to Win 2-1 @ 8/1

One of the standout UEFA Nations League fixtures of the week takes place at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Monday, as Dwight Lodeweges’ Netherlands take on Roberto Mancini’s Italy. Before this mouth-watering matchup, Holland begin their campaign with a home fixture with Poland, while the Italians play Bosnia & Herzegovina in Florence.

These two European giants will surely battle it out for top spot in League A, Group 1. In the first Nations League, the Dutch went all the way to the final, losing out to Portugal. Ronald Koeman has left to take over at Barcelona, but Holland will still be a force in this competition, whilst Italy we want to improve after a poor showing last time around. This promises to be a cracker in the Dutch capital, but we fancy the hosts to nick it. Check out the 2-1 Netherlands victory at very nice odds of 8/1.

6th Sep 2020

17:00 - Republic of Ireland v Finland

Republic of Ireland Win & BTTS @ 4/1

Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland welcome Markku Kanerva’s Finland to the Aviva Stadium this Sunday in UEFA Nations League action. Ireland picked up a point on the road in their opener last Thursday, while the Finns were beaten at home by Wales. Can the Irish secure maximum points on home turf at the weekend?

Ireland battled away in Bulgaria last Thursday, with Shane Duffy’s last-gasp goal rescuing a point for Kenny in his first game in charge. As for Finland, they lost 1-0 to Ryan Giggs’ Dragons at the Olympic Stadium Helsinki. With Wales to come in their next match, the Boys in Green could do with all three points from this one. They won’t have it all their own way but have a punt on the home side to win and both teams to score at nice odds of 4/1.

6th Sep 2020

14:00 - Wales v Bulgaria

Wales to Win to Nil @ 11/10

Ryan Giggs’ Wales play their second match of the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League campaign on Sunday afternoon, as Georgi Dermendzhiev’s Bulgaria travel to the Cardiff City Stadium in the Welsh capital. The Dragons started with a win in Finland, while the Bulgarians were held to a draw by Republic of Ireland in their opener.

Wales can stamp their authority on League B, Group 4 with victory on home soil this Monday. Giggs’ men have been strong at the Cardiff City Stadium in recent times, and they head into this one having won five and drawn two of their previous seven. In Helsinki last Thursday, Kieffer Moore’s goal was enough to give the Welsh a 1-0 win. We fancy Wales to pick up all three points and keep another clean sheet on matchday two. The hosts are available at 11/10 to win to nil and against a really poor Bulgaria side that seems more than fair.

6th Sep 2020

12:00 - Brentford v Wycombe Wanderers

Brentford Win @ 1/2

Two EFL Championship clubs lock horns in the first round of the Carabao Cup this Sunday, as Thomas Frank’s Brentford entertain Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe Wanderers. This is one of the ties of the round and may give us an indication of whether or not Brentford are in good shape to mount another push for promotion. The opponents here were promoted via the EFL League One play-offs last term, while the Bees were beaten by Fulham in the 2020 EFL Championship play-off final. This will be the first competitive game at the new Brentford Community Stadium and the hosts will be desperate to mark the occasion with a win.

Brentford had a stunning 2019-20 season in the Championship, just missing out on promotion to the Premier League. Frank’s troops are one of the favourites to go up this term. Wycombe, who finished third in League One last season, are gearing up for their first ever year in the Championship. Brentford will be looking to start life in their new home with a cup victory on Sunday, and the home win is priced at 1/2. Those odds may seem short but they look solid to us and this is a good one for your EFL accas.

5th Sep 2020

17:00 - Iceland v England

England to Win 2-1 @ 8/1

Erik Hamren’s Iceland and Gareth Southgate’s England meet at Laugardalsvollur in Reykjavik at the weekend in the opening round of the UEFA Nations League. The Three Lions kick off with two tough away games, as they travel to the Parken Stadium to face Denmark next weekend. Can Southgate’s troops secure back-to-back away victories at the start of their campaign as they bid to make the Nations League finals once again?

Iceland have been on a meteoric rise over the past few years. Arguably, their best result (and one of England’s worst ever) came against the Three Lions in the knockout stages of UEFA Euro 2016. England are also on the up under Southgate, as they finished third in the inaugural Nations League as well as reaching the semi finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Saturday’s showdown in Iceland’s capital will not be easy, but our money is going on a 2-1 away win at 8/1.

5th Sep 2020

14:15 - Walsall v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday to Win -1 Goal @ 11/5

Gary Monk takes his Sheffield Wednesday troops to the Bescot Stadium this Saturday to face Darrell Clarke’s Walsall in round one of the Carabao Cup. The Owls have a 12-point penalty to contend with and have been tipped to struggle in the EFL Championship this term, but can they get their 2020-21 season up and running with a win in the EFL Cup? Wednesday are the favourites in the West Midlands.

Walsall finished 12th in EFL League Two last season, winning 13, drawing eight and losing 15 of 36 games in the truncated campaign. As for Monk’s men, they picked up 56 points to finish 16th in the Championship. These two teams last met back in 2012, while the Owls have not beaten the Saddlers in three attempts. Nonetheless, we are backing Wednesday to win comfortably on Saturday. The away team are priced at 11/5 to win -1 and with the gulf in class that is solid value.

5th Sep 2020

12:00 - Derby County v Barrow

Derby County Win & BTTS @ 15/8

Phillip Cocu’s Derby County and David Dunn’s Barrow square off at Pride Park in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Saturday afternoon. The Rams start their EFL Championship season with a home game against Reading next weekend, but they must navigate past Barrow, who were promoted to the EFL at the end of last term, in the EFL Cup first.

Derby missed out on the Championship play-offs last season, eventually finishing in 10th spot despite some good post-Christmas results. Cocu’s men will be looking for a top six finish this time at the very least. The Bluebirds of Barrow booked their place in the Football League by winning the National League and will be full of confidence. Of course though, Derby are the favourites, but Barrow could give County problems at Pride Park. Check out the solid odds of 15/8 for the home side to win and both teams to score on Saturday.

4th Sep 2020

19:45 - Romania v Northern Ireland

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

Ian Baraclough takes Northern Ireland to Bucharest this Friday to play Mirel Radoi’s Romania in a UEFA Nations League encounter. This will be a stern test for Norn Iron at the Arena Nationala, but can they return to Belfast with a positive result? As expected, the Romanians are the clear favourites to get the win but we think the bookies are underestimating the visitors. Austria and Norway are also in League B, Group 1 and a win for either side here would stand them in very good stead in the context of the group.

Romania have improved in recent years, but they head into this Nations League opener having lost their last two games, including a 5-0 defeat to Spain in their previous match. Northern Ireland also crashed to a heavy loss last time out, losing 6-1 to Germany in a UEFA European Championship qualifier. Nonetheless, we are backing the Green and White Army to leave Bucharest on Friday with a point. The 1-1 draw is available at odds of 11/2 which looks a fair price to us.

4th Sep 2020

19:45 - Scotland v Israel

Scotland to Win -1 Goal @ 9/4

Scotland’s UEFA Nations League campaign gets underway on Friday night when Israel make the trip to Hampden Park. The Scots will also go up against Czech Republic and Slovakia in League B, Group 2. Having earned promotion from League C in the inaugural Nations League tournament, can Scotland book their place in League A at the end of this campaign and start to mix it with the biggest teams on the continent?

Steve Clarke’s men have a tough few days ahead, as they travel to Olomouc to take on Czech Republic next Monday after Friday’s clash in Glasgow. Israel are the weak link of the group, and Scotland will be targeting all three points from this Group B2 opener. The Scots have won their last two matches at Hampden, scoring nine goals in the process. We fancy the hosts to win this one with a -1 goal handicap on Friday at the decent price of 9/4 so that’s what we’ll be backing.

4th Sep 2020

17:30 - Middlesbrough v Shrewsbury Town

Middlesbrough to Win to Nil @ 15/8

On Friday evening at the Riverside Stadium, Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough take on Sam Ricketts’ Shrewsbury Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup. Warnock did a fine job to keep Boro in the EFL Championship last season, but the Teessiders must kick on this term. Middlesbrough will be hoping to start their 2020-21 season with a win in the cup against EFL League One opposition on Friday.

Boro were involved in a relegation battle all season long, but Warnock steadied the ship and guided the club to a 17th place finish in the end. As for Shrewsbury, they ended up in 15th position in League One. This will be the first fixture between the pair since Boro won an FA Cup game 1-0 at home back in January 2012. We fancy the hosts to be too strong for the Shrews and we’ll be backing Boro to win to nil on Friday at odds of 15/8.

3rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Finland v Wales

Wales to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Ryan Giggs’ Wales get their 2020-21 UEFA Nations League campaign up and running with a match against Markku Kanerva’s Finland at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital on Thursday. Having qualified for UEFA Euro 2021, the Dragons will be looking for a successful Nations League tournament. Wales head to Helsinki as the favourites to get the win.

Giggs’ men are in good form ahead of this Nations League opener. Since back-to-back defeats to Croatia and Hungary in June 2019, the Welsh have won four and drawn two of six, winning their last two Euro qualifiers to book their place in the finals. Finland will be hoping to make home advantage count on Thursday, but we can see Wales getting the points in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Take a punt on the away side to win by one goal at odds of 11/4.

3rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Bulgaria v Republic of Ireland

Republic of Ireland Win @ 13/10

Stephen Kenny starts life as Republic of Ireland boss with a tough trip to Sofia on Thursday to take on Bulgaria in this UEFA Nations League group game. League B, Group 4 will see Ireland, Bulgaria, Wales and Finland do battle. All four nations are capable of winning the group and advancing to League A. Can Kenny’s Ireland get all three points in the Vasil Levski National Stadium on Thursday night or will they stumble at the first hurdle?

The Irish were certainly heading in the right direction under Mick McCarthy, who left his role in April. However, Kenny was recently in charge of the under 21s and is familiar with the squad of players. Bulgaria will not be an easy nut to crack in Sofia, but the Boys in Green will fancy their chances in the Bulgarian capital. As such we’ll be putting a few quid on the Ireland win at odds of 13/10.

3rd Sep 2020

19:45 - Germany v Spain

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

Joachim Low’s Germany and Luis Enrique’s Spain clash in a mouth-watering UEFA Nations League fixture at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart this Thursday. With Switzerland and Ukraine also in League A, Group 4, the Germans and Spaniards will be battling out for top spot and a place in the 2020-21 Nations League finals. Which side can get off to a flying start on Thursday?

Germany were poor in the inaugural Nations League campaign a couple of years back, taking just two points from a possible 12 and finishing bottom of their group. As for Spain, they were pipped by England to first place in Group A4. These two nations are among the favourites to win the competition this time around, but we fancy the pair to play out a draw in Stuttgart. The 1-1 draw is available at decent-looking odds of 11/2 and that’s the pick for us.
