Football Tips – February 2021

2nd Feb 2021

18:00 - Sheffield United v West Brom

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion square off in Premier League action this Tuesday at Bramall Lane in a crucial relegation six-pointer. Chris Wilder’s side are bottom of the table with just eight points to their name, while Sam Allardyce’s Baggies are in 19th place on 12 points, each having played 21 games so far. Both teams look nailed on for relegation to the EFL Championship, but could either start what would be a very impressive recovery in the second half the season? If see, one or other will certainly need to win this one at Bramall Lane in midweek.

United have had a miserable campaign thus far, winning just two games in the league all season, drawing two and losing 17 of their opening 21 matches. West Brom have also struggled, also having picked up two wins, but they’ve drawn six times and suffered 13 defeats. Both teams will be desperate for all three points at Bramall Lane, but we fancy the Blades and Baggies to play out a tense draw. You can get odds of 15/4 for the draw and both teams to score.

2nd Feb 2021

18:00 - Wolves v Arsenal

Arsenal Win @ 6/5

After no wins in eight Premier League matches, the pressure is starting to mount on Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo. This Tuesday night, Wolves welcome in-form Arsenal to Molineux for a vital league fixture. Can Wanderers pick up their first Premier League win since mid-December, or will the Gunners extend their unbeaten league run to eight games?

Since beating Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the reverse fixture back in November, Wolves have gone on to lose seven of their following 11 Premier League matches. Mikel Arteta’s men have shown a massive improvement over the past month or so, winning five and drawing two of their last seven matches in the league. We fancy the Londoners to leave Molineux in midweek with all three points. The away win is nicely priced at odds 6/5 which offers decent value in our eyes.

2nd Feb 2021

18:00 - Millwall v Norwich City

Norwich City to Win -1 Goal @ 10/3

EFL Championship leaders Norwich City make the trip to London in midweek to face Millwall. After dropping points at home in their last fixture, Daniel Farke’s Canaries will be targeting a win at The Den on Tuesday. The Lions are unbeaten in three league games, but Gary Rowett’s men have not won at home since a 2-0 success over Luton Town way back in October.

Norwich are in stunning form at present having won eight, drawn two and lost only one of their last 11 Championship fixtures. City have the best away record in the division and have collected an impressive 25 points from 12 games on their travels. In contrast, only Birmingham City and Wycombe Wanderers have taken fewer home points than the Lions so far. As such, we’re having a punt on Norwich to win with a -1 goal handicap at The Den at a nice price of 10/3.

2nd Feb 2021

20:15 - Manchester United v Southampton

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United entertain Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Having taken just one point from their last two fixtures, Man United will be hoping to get back to winning ways on home soil in midweek. As for the Saints, they have had a fine season thus far, but they head to Manchester having lost three games in a row in the league.

After losing at home to Sheffield United and drawing at Arsenal, Man United have dropped three points behind rivals Manchester City, who have a game in hand. Therefore, the Red Devils could really do with maximum points from this one if they are to sustain their title challenge. Southampton will want to stop a run of three successive league defeats but we are backing Ole’s boys to take the points on home soil. Check out the solid odds of 2/1 for the home win and both teams to score.

2nd Feb 2021

20:15 - Newcastle v Crystal Palace

Draw @ 9/4

At St James’ Park on Tuesday night, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace square off in the Premier League. Both teams had good wins last time out, as the Magpies picked up a 2-0 victory at Everton, while the Eagles beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Selhurst Park. In the reverse game back in November, Newcastle beat Palace 2-0 at Selhurst – can United complete a league double over Palace on Tuesday?

Newcastle had gone 11 league and cup games without a win before Saturday’s impressive victory at Goodison Park. Palace were also in poor form before their triumph over Wolves last time out. On paper, Newcastle and Crystal Palace seem pretty evenly matched. With that in mind, we can see the pair cancelling each other out at St James’ on Tuesday. Take a punt on the draw at odds of 9/4.

3rd Feb 2021

18:00 - Burnley v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 8/11

Premier League leaders Manchester City are on the road this Wednesday, as Pep Guardiola takes his side to Turf Moor to face Sean Dyche’s Burnley. The Citizens are in stunning form and have won each of their last 12 league and cup matches. Man City will be on the lookout for a ninth Premier League victory on the spin this Wednesday and there won’t be too many betting against them.

Having said that, it is certainly fair to say that Burnley have improved of late, picking up three wins from their past four games in all competitions. That includes their impressive 1-0 victory over champions Liverpool at (former) fortress Anfield. However, when the Clarets travelled to the Etihad Stadium a few months back, they crashed to a heavy 5-0 defeat. With City in such scintillating form at present, we could see a similar scoreline in this one. The Manchester giants have won without conceding a goal on 18 occasions across all competitions this term and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if that happened again here. Back Man City to win to nil in midweek at odds of 8/11.

3rd Feb 2021

18:00 - Fulham v Leicester City

Leicester City Win @ 10/11

Scott Parker’s Fulham welcome Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City to Craven Cottage for a Premier League fixture on Wednesday night that could have significance at both ends of the top flight table. The Cottagers, last season’s EFL Championship play-off winners, have had a tough time back in the top tier. The London side are seven points adrift of safety after 20 matches. As for the Foxes, they are challenging for a UEFA Champions League spot.

Fulham have won just two of their 20 league fixtures this season, so it is no surprise they find themselves in the bottom three. However, Parker has made his side hard to beat of late, with five of their previous seven games ending in draws. Leicester are having another fine season under Rodgers and City will want to bounce back after losing at home to Leeds United last time out. We can see Leicester nicking the points in west London on Wednesday. The away win is available at odds of 10/11, which looks like very good value to us.

3rd Feb 2021

19:30 - Leeds v Everton

Leeds United to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are having an excellent season in the Premier League after winning promotion as EFL Championship champions last term. So far, Leeds have racked up an impressive 29 points from their 20 league fixtures. Can United move onto 32 points with victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton at Elland Road on Wednesday? Leeds are the slight favourites to the take the points but this one really could go either way.

Last weekend, Bielsa’s troops stunned in-form Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, with goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison giving them a superb 3-1 win. That was Leeds’ fifth victory in eight Premier League fixtures. The Toffees head to Elland Road having lost two of their past four games in league action. United won 1-0 at Goodison Park in the reverse game in November, and you can get decent odds of 10/3 for Leeds to win by one goal once again.

3rd Feb 2021

19:45 - Brentford v Bristol City

Brentford to Win -2 Goals @ 3/1

Thomas Frank’s Brentford entertain Dean Holden’s Bristol City at the Brentford Community Stadium in EFL Championship action on Wednesday night. The Bees are flying, having won 13 of their 25 league matches to sit just six points off top spot with a game in hand. As for the Robins, they have won 12 times but find themselves down in ninth place as things stand.

Brentford are in stunning form in the Championship, emulating their late-season form of last term. Since a 3-2 loss at Stoke City in October, the London side are unbeaten in 18 league fixtures, winning 10 and drawing eight. Frank’s men have won five of their last six games in the Championship, thumping Wycombe Wanderers 7-2 last time out. Bristol City have blown hot and cold in recent weeks, and we fancy the Bees to secure a big win on Wednesday. Put a few quid on the hosts to win with a -2 goal handicap at an attractive price of 3/1.

3rd Feb 2021

20:15 - Aston Villa v West Ham

Draw & BTTS @ 3/1

Dean Smith’s Aston Villa and David Moyes’ West Ham United meet in an intriguing Premier League fixture at Villa Park on Wednesday evening. The Hammers are riding high in fifth spot at present, collecting an impressive 35 points. Villa, who have played two games fewer, are currently in ninth place with 32 points to their name.

Aston Villa have been in patchy form of late, but they did pick up a superb 1-0 win at Southampton in their last game. Before Sunday’s 3-1 home loss to Liverpool, West Ham had won six league and cup matches in a row. The Irons edged the reverse fixture at the London Stadium in November, but we fancy the pair to play out a draw at Villa Park this Wednesday. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 3/1.

3rd Feb 2021

20:15 - Liverpool v Brighton

Liverpool HT/FT @ 21/20

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are back on track after back-to-back Premier League away wins. After a 3-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Thursday, the champions beat West Ham United by the same scoreline at the London Stadium at the weekend. Liverpool will be hoping to make it three Premier League wins on the spin when Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion visit Anfield on Wednesday.

Liverpool lost their outstanding unbeaten home record in their last league fixture at Anfield, with Sean Dyche’s Burnley leaving with a surprising 1-0 win. Brighton have picked up lately, winning three and drawing one of their past four league and cup games, but the home side will be out for blood and should secure an easy victory in midweek. Have a punt on Liverpool to be winning at half time and full time at a good-value price of 21/20.

4th Feb 2021

20:00 - Tottenham v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea lock horns in a mouth-watering London derby in the Premier League on Thursday night. Spurs have lost two of their last four in the league at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Blues have picked up just one away league win since November. Both teams will be desperate for all three points from this one.

Tottenham have stuttered somewhat of late, losing back-to-back Premier League matches to Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion. The first of those is forgivable, the second less so. Meanwhile, Tuchel has started life at Mourinho’s old stomping ground of Stamford Bridge with a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers and a win against Burnley, with clean sheets in each. This one could go either way at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but we fancy Chelsea to claim a narrow away victory. Check out the tempting odds of 11/4 for the away team to win by a one goal margin, a result that would no doubt add an extra dose of gloom to the recent woes at Spurs.

5th Feb 2021

20:15 - Swansea v Norwich

Draw & Over 3.5 Goals @ 10/1

Swansea City and Norwich City square off in an EFL Championship cracker at the Liberty Stadium in South Wales on Friday night. The Canaries lead the way at the top of the division, five points clear of the Swans as things stand. With both teams in stunning form at present, this promises to be a real battle at the Liberty. Can Swansea reduce the gap at the top, or will Norwich pick up a priceless three points on the road?

Steve Cooper’s men are in excellent form at present and have won seven and drawn two of their last nine league and cup games since a 2-0 Championship loss at Derby County in mid-December. Norwich have drawn back-to-back league games, but Daniel Farke’s side have lost just one of their last 12 matches in the Championship. We fancy these two high flyers to play out an entertaining draw in Wales. The draw and over 3.5 goals is priced at very tempting odds of 10/1.

6th Feb 2021

12:30 - Aston Villa v Arsenal

Arsenal Win @ 13/8

Arsenal make the trip to Villa Park to face Aston Villa in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon. After an excellent run of five wins and two draws from seven league fixtures, the Gunners were beaten in the Premier League for the first time since December 19th in midweek, controversially losing 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. Can Mikel Arteta’s men bounce back with three points on Saturday?

Dean Smith’s Villa have had a fine season up until now. However, the Villans were beaten at home by West Ham United last time out and have been on a poor run for a little while now. As for Arsenal, before Tuesday’s eventful loss at Molineux, the London side had secured consecutive away league wins against Brighton & Hove Albion, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton. With Villa not quite at their best we are backing Arteta’s men to edge this one at Villa Park at the solid looking price of 13/8.

6th Feb 2021

12:30 - Coventry v Watford

Watford to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

The early kick off in the EFL Championship this Saturday sees Coventry City and Watford go head-to-head at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium. Mark Robins’ Sky Blues are in decent form, but the high-flying Hornets head to Birmingham as the bookies’ favourites. After a shock 2-1 home loss to Queens Park Rangers on Monday, can Xisco Munoz’s men strike back with a big three points on the road? They have slipped down to fifth so if they are to push for a top two finish this is very much the sort of game they need to win.

Coventry were beaten by Nottingham Forest in midweek, which was their first defeat at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium since October. Watford have been pretty poor on their travels, picking up just three away league wins all season. However, they have taken four points from their last two on the road. Watford edged the reverse game at Vicarage Road, and there is good value in the away team to win by one at 13/5.

6th Feb 2021

17:30 - Fulham v West Ham

West Ham United to Win -1 Goal @ 11/4

London sides Fulham and West Ham United meet in a Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage this Saturday. The Cottagers have been tough to beat of late, but West Ham have won seven of their last eight league and cup games and are really flying. David Moyes’ Hammers are the favourites in west London, but can Scott Parker’s men pick up a crucial three points on their own patch?

Parker has made Fulham tough to beat in recent months, with seven of their last 10 in the Premier League ending in draws. However, they have not won in league action since November and come into this game firmly rooted in the bottom three. The Irons picked up a 3-1 away win at Villa Park on Wednesday, which was their fifth victory in six Premier League matches. Jesse Lingard even got a brace on his debut and with everything Moyes touches turning to gold at the moment, take a punt on the in-form Hammers to win -1 at the Cottage at 11/4.

6th Feb 2021

20:00 - Manchester United v Everton

Draw @ 10/3

On Saturday night, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United welcome Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton to Old Trafford for a tasty Premier League fixture. In midweek, the Red Devils picked up a stunning 9-0 home win over Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton, who played most of the game with 10 men and ended it with nine! As for the Toffees they beat Leeds United 2-1 at Elland Road in a fast, frenetic affair. Who will prevail in this intriguing Premier League clash at Old Trafford?

Man Utd are in excellent form in the Premier League, losing only one of their previous 16. The Red Devils start the weekend just three points behind leaders Manchester City. Everton are sitting pretty in sixth, four points away from the UEFA Champions League places and with games in hand on all the teams above them. The Toffees have lost only two league games since November, and we fancy Ancelotti’s boys to leave Manchester with a point. Have a punt on the draw at general odds of 10/3.

7th Feb 2021

12:00 - Tottenham v West Brom

Tottenham Hotspur HT/FT @ 6/5

Tottenham Hotspur welcome West Bromwich Albion to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. After three straight league defeats, no less than three points will do for Jose Mourinho’s men as the pressure is starting to mount of the Special One. Sam Allardyce’s Baggies are in dreadful form, meanwhile, and the West Midlands outfit are just one point above bottom club Sheffield United.

Having taken zero points from their last three matches, Tottenham have slipped down to eighth place in the Premier League table. The Lilywhites are now on 33 points, seven points behind Liverpool, who currently occupy the final UEFA Champions League spot. Despite their poor form, the London side should ease past struggling West Brom on Sunday. Spurs have been ahead at half time in each of their previous four wins. Back the hosts to be winning at half time and full time on Sunday at odds of 6/5 as West Brom edge that bit closer to playing in the Championship next season.

7th Feb 2021

14:00 - Wolves v Leicester

Leicester City Win @ 6/5

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City lock horns in an all-Midlands Premier League affair at Molineux on Sunday. Wolves have been in poor form of late, but they did beat Arsenal at home in midweek. As for the Foxes, they bounced back from defeat against Leeds United with a win at Fulham on Wednesday.

Before the vital victory over the Gunners, Wanderers had gone eight league games without a win, drawing three and losing five. In contrast, Leicester have won four of their last six games in the Premier League, losing just twice since November. Only Manchester United have taken more points on the road than the Foxes so far this term, and we fancy Rodgers’ boys to claim a ninth away league win of their season at the weekend. City are priced at odds of 6/5 which represents decent enough value in our eyes to tempt us in.

7th Feb 2021

16:30 - Liverpool v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 3/1

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City square off in a blockbuster Premier League fixture at Anfield on Sunday. After back-to-back losses at home, the champions will be desperate to avoid defeat to the current league leaders. However, three points for Man City would be their 10th Premier League win on the bounce and they certainly have the wind in their sails at the moment.

Liverpool have been uncharacteristically poor on their own patch of late, failing to win any of the last four (two draws, two defeats). As for Man City, Pep’s boys are in stunning form. Since a 1-1 home league draw with West Bromwich Albion on 15th December, the Manchester giants have won 13 games on the trot in all competitions, keeping 10 clean sheets along the way. Given the disparity in form between the sides at present, we’re happy to take a punt on City to win to nil at Anfield at a nice price of 3/1.

7th Feb 2021

19:15 - Sheffield United v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win Both Halves @ 11/4

Thomas Tuchel has started life at Chelsea with two wins and a draw from three games thus far. The Blues will be looking for another three points when they make the trip to Bramall Lane this Sunday to take on Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United. Despite some good results of late, the Blades remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table. As you would expect, Chelsea are the clear favourites in this one and few will be betting against them.

Since starting with a 0-0 home draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tuchel has guided Chelsea to wins over Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur. On Thursday, a Jorginho penalty was enough to give the Blues a 1-0 victory over Jose Mourinho’s Spurs. Sheffield United have won three of their last four league and cup home fixtures, but we fancy Chelsea to secure a comfortable win at Bramall Lane this Sunday. You can get odds of 11/4 for the away team to win both halves, which looks a solid bet.

9th Feb 2021

17:30 - Burnley v Bournemouth

Bournemouth Win @ 23/10

Burnley and Bournemouth meet in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening with both sides fancying their chances of progressing to the last eight. The Clarets are in 17th place in the Premier League at present, while the Cherries sit sixth in the EFL Championship. Burnley are the favourites, but can the Championship side secure an away win and book their spot in the last eight? It wouldn’t be the biggest of cup upsets in history if they did.

Since winning three league and cup games in a row, including a memorable Premier League victory at Anfield, Sean Dyche’s Burnley troops have lost two and drawn one of their last three. There has been a change in management at Bournemouth, as Jason Tindall was sacked after a poor run of results, with Jonathan Woodgate stepping in as interim manager. Promotion will be the main aim, but we fancy the Cherries to book their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The away win is available at odds of 23/10 which looks like decent enough value to warrant a bet.

9th Feb 2021

19:00 - Sheffield Wednesday v Wycombe

Sheffield Wednesday to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe Wanderers go head-to-head at Hillsborough on Tuesday night in a crucial EFL Championship fixture. The Chairboys are rooted to the foot of the table after a tough season in the second tier, while Wednesday are currently second from bottom, nine points above. Both teams will be desperate for all three points from this one but out money is going on the home side to prevail.

After a good run of results, Sheffield Wednesday were brought back down to earth with a bang last weekend as they were thumped 4-1 at Millwall. As for Wycombe, they crashed to a heavy 3-0 home loss to Nottingham Forest. Despite last Saturday’s poor result in the capital, the Owls have certainly improved since caretaker boss Neil Thompson took over and they will want to get as many points on the board as possible in the coming weeks, especially against the sides around them in the table. Wednesday should come out on top in this one and we like the look of the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 12/5.

9th Feb 2021

19:30 - Manchester United v West Ham

Draw @ 7/2

Premier League clubs Manchester United and West Ham United square off in Emirates FA Cup action at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. Both teams are in fine fettle ahead of this tasty cup clash, but Man United are the odds-on favourites with the bookies. Will the Red Devils get the win and progress, or can the Hammers cause an upset in Manchester?

After letting a 2-0 lead slip and conceding at the death to draw 3-3 with Everton in the Premier League last time out, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will want to strike back with a win in the FA Cup on Tuesday. However, West Ham will be no pushovers, as the London club have won seven of their last nine games in all competitions. We fancy the Irons to take Man United the distance on Tuesday. Back the draw in 90 minutes at favourable odds of 7/2.

10th Feb 2021

17:30 - Swansea v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -2 Goals @ 6/4

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City travel to the Liberty Stadium in South Wales to face Steve Cooper’s Swansea City in Emirates FA Cup action on Wednesday evening. The Premier League leaders and 2019 FA Cup victors are in stunning form at present. They have won each of their last 14 league and cup games and have been playing with a confidence that simply wasn’t present a few months back. The Swans are riding high in the EFL Championship but Man City are the clear favourites in this fifth round FA Cup tie.

Cooper’s men are undefeated in 10 games across all competitions and have picked up eight wins and two draws in that fine run. The Welsh side have been beaten just once at home all season, but they haven’t faced a side of the quality of Manchester City in that time. As for Pep’s City, Sunday’s impressive 4-1 win at Anfield against Premier League champions Liverpool was their 10th top flight victory in a row. The Manchester giants should cruise past Swansea and book their place in the last eight of the competition. Take a punt on the away team to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 6/4.

10th Feb 2021

19:00 - Reading v Brentford

Brentford Win & BTTS @ 10/3

Reading and Brentford meet in a tasty EFL Championship fixture at the Madejski Stadium on Wednesday night. The Royals are in fourth spot in the second tier table with 48 points to their name, while the Bees sit in second spot, a point behind leaders Norwich City. A draw would be enough to take Brentford to the top of the Championship table and also to maintain their fantastic unbeaten run. But we can’t see them settling for a point.

Reading are in decent form, winning four and drawing three of their last seven games in the league. They have won three in a row at the Madejski, seeing off Luton Town, Coventry City and Bournemouth. Brentford, though, are on a staggering 20-game unbeaten run in the Championship, and have won 12 and drawn eight games since their last defeat. Thomas Frank’s men will be eyeing top spot and we fancy the London side to take all three points from this one. Check out the away win and both teams to score at a nice price of 10/3.

10th Feb 2021

19:30 - Leicester v Brighton

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Premier League sides Leicester City and Brighton and Hove Albion meet at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday in a fifth round Emirates FA Cup tie. With the Foxes having lost just one of their last 12 matches in all competitions, they will be going into this game high on confidence. The Seagulls have won four and drawn two of their past six league and cup games, however, so this FA Cup tie promises to be far from a one-sided affair.

Leicester, who sit third in the Premier League, have picked up impressive away wins over EFL Championship teams Stoke City and Brentford to reach the last 16. Brighton have beaten Newport County and Blackpool so this will be their sternest test to date. Brendan Rodgers’ troops are a tough nut to crack at the King Power and City should edge past Graham Potter’s Albion on Wednesday. Back the Foxes to win by one goal at odds of 11/4.

10th Feb 2021

19:30 - Sheffield United v Bristol City

Sheffield United Win @ 4/6

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United may be rock bottom of the Premier League table but the Blades will fancy their chances of booking their spot in the last eight of this season’s Emirates FA Cup. On Wednesday night, United welcome EFL Championship side Bristol City to Bramall Lane in fifth round action. Who will get the win and make it through to the quarter-finals?

Sheffield United look destined for relegation from the Premier League but the Blades have shown plenty of fighting spirit in recent weeks. In fact, United have won five of their last eight games in all competitions. In contrast, Dean Holden’s Bristol City have been in poor form of late, losing eight of their last 11 Championship games. Our money is going on the Sheffield United win in this one at a favourable price of 4/6.

10th Feb 2021

20:15 - Everton v Tottenham

Everton to Win 1-0 @ 7/1

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur go head-to-head at Goodison Park on Wednesday for a fascinating Emirates FA Cup fifth round fixture. On the opening weekend of the Premier League season back in September, the Toffees picked up a 1-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Will Everton beat the Londoners again in midweek or will Jose Mourinho motivate his side to rediscover their fine form from a few weeks ago?

These two teams are separated by just one point in the current Premier League standings, with the Merseysiders just ahead. On paper, the pair are evenly matched and both sides will fancy their chances of getting the win on Wednesday. This could be close on the scoreline but we fancy the home side to nick the win. Have a punt on Ancelotti’s boys to beat Spurs 1-0 again, which is available at the tempting odds of 7/1.

11th Feb 2021

17:30 - Wolves v Southampton

Wolverhampton Wanderers Win @ 11/8

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton go head-to-head at Molineux on Thursday in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup. With both teams in poor form in the Premier League at present, this cup tie could go either way. The bookies have made Wolves the favourites in this one, but can the Saints pick up their first away win since December? Both sides will fancy their chances of progressing to the quarter-finals and it is quite a difficult one to call.

Since a 2-1 victory at Arsenal back in November, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have won just two of their following 13 league games. As for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton, they have lost five Premier League matches on the spin. These two played out a 1-1 draw at Molineux in league action a few months ago and this FA Cup tight will no doubt be another tight affair. However, we fancy the home side to just about nick it at fair odds of 11/8.

11th Feb 2021

20:00 - Barnsley v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 6/5

Chelsea make the trip to South Yorkshire this Thursday to face EFL Championship side Barnsley in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup. Thomas Tuchel has made an impressive enough start to life at Stamford Bridge and the Premier League Blues head to Oakwell as the big favourites to get a comfortable win and book their spot in the last eight of this season’s FA Cup.

These two clubs have already met this season. Back in September in the Carabao Cup, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea thumped Gerhard Struber’s Barnsley 6-0 at the Bridge, with Kai Havertz scoring a hat-trick. After starting life in west London with a goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tuchel has guided Chelsea to three straight wins, keeping clean sheets in two of those. We think the Blues will be far too strong for Barnsley and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if they won by a similar margin as they did last time. We’ll be backing the Blues to win to nil at Oakwell at odds of 6/5.

12th Feb 2021

19:45 - Blackburn v Preston

Blackburn Rovers to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

Lancashire sides Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End lock horns at Ewood Park in EFL Championship action on Friday night. Tony Mowbray’s Rovers are sitting pretty in eighth place in the table at present, six points away from sixth spot and the prospect of making it into the mix for the playoffs. As for Alex Neil’s North End, they are down in 12th position with 36 points to their name as things stand. They have not given up hope of making it into the playoffs but they’ll need to put some recent poor form behind them.

Blackburn have been playing fairy well of late, winning three and drawing one of their four matches before last Saturday’s disappointing 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers. As for Preston, they have lost five of their last seven matches in all competitions, picking up just one victory since the turn of the year. We can see Rovers getting back to winning ways in this one. Blackburn won 3-0 at Deepdale in the reverse game, and there is good value in the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap on Friday at decent odds of 12/5.

13th Feb 2021

12:30 - Leicester v Liverpool

Leicester City to Win to Nil @ 6/1

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool go head-to-head at the King Power Stadium this Saturday afternoon in a mouth-watering Premier League match. The champions will be desperate to hit back after last weekend’s embarrassing 4-1 home loss to Manchester City. However, the Foxes are not an easy nut to crack and will really fancy their chances, especially with Jamie Vardy back in the squad.

Leicester start the weekend in third place, three points above Liverpool. The Reds head to the King Power in poor form, suffering four losses from their last six in all competitions and really struggling to score goals. Rodgers’ men have been hard to beat in recent months, losing only one of their previous 13 league and cup games. Leicester’s last three league wins have all ended 2-0 and with Klopp’s front three misfiring, we fancy the hosts to keep a clean sheet. You can get the tempting price of 6/1 for the home side to win to nil again at the weekend.

13th Feb 2021

12:30 - Nottingham Forest v Bournemouth

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth meet at the City Ground in Saturday’s early kick off in the EFL Championship. Since taking over on an interim basis from the sacked Jason Tindall, Jonathan Woodgate has guided the Cherries to wins over Birmingham City and Burnley (Emirates FA Cup). Can Woodgate make it three in a row this Saturday to get the south coast club’s promotion push back on track?

Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest have been in excellent form of late. The Reds have lost just one of their past 10 in the Championship, winning five times in the process. Since a 2-1 home loss to Middlesbrough, Forest have taken seven points from the last nine on offer. This one could go either way at the City Ground, but we fancy the pair to play out an entertaining draw. Take a punt on the draw and both teams to score (15/4).

13th Feb 2021

15:00 - Crystal Palace v Burnley

Crystal Palace Win @ 13/10

Crystal Palace and Burnley meet at Selhurst Park in Premier League action on Saturday. On paper, these two teams look well matched, but will we see a winner in south London? Roy Hodgson’s Eagles, who beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last home fixture, are the slight favourites with the bookies and we think they should prove too good for the Clarets.

That said, Crystal Palace are in patchy form, though the Londoners have won two of their last three at home, seeing off Wolves and Sheffield United. Since back-to-back wins over Liverpool and Aston Villa, Sean Dyche’s Burnley have taken just one point from a possible nine in the Premier League. They were also beaten at home by Bournemouth in the Emirates FA Cup in midweek. Given that mini slump, we fancy the Eagles to nick the points on their own patch. The Crystal Palace win is priced at 13/10 and that seems a good price.

13th Feb 2021

17:30 - Manchester City v Tottenham

Manchester City to Win -1 Goal @ 5/6

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur do battle in a blockbuster Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening. For many this is the biggest game of the round and if City can pass another tough test they will move another step close to the title. Man City are in stunning form, while Spurs have been stuttering of late and so we have to fancy the hosts. Three points for the home side on Saturday will be their 11th Premier League victory on the bounce and their 16th consecutive win in all competitions.

City top the Premier League table and have not lost since a 2-0 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium way back on November 21st. Since then, Pep’s boys have won 19 and drawn three of 22 league and cup games. Tottenham, who have lost three of their previous four in the league, could struggle in Manchester this weekend. They were knocked out of the FA Cup in midweek too in a gruelling clash with Everton that went to extra time. That 120-minute, 5-4 loss won’t help their cause here so put some money on Man City to win -1, which is available at the generous price of 5/6.

13th Feb 2021

20:00 - Brighton v Aston Villa

Brighton & Hove Albion to Win 2-1 @ 10/1

On Saturday night in the Premier League, Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa meet at the Amex Stadium. Graham Potter’s men are on a five-game unbeaten run in the league, winning three and drawing two to pull well clear of the bottom three. As for Dean Smith’s Villa, they have picked up eight away wins across all competitions this term. Which way will this intriguing fixture go?

Brighton have really turned their fortunes around since the turn of the year, picking up wins over Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. Since mid-December, only Arsenal and Manchester City have beaten them in league action. Aston Villa are enjoying a fine season, but we fancy the Seagulls to secure all three points on home soil. Brighton won the reverse fixture 2-1 – a repeat 2-1 Albion victory on Saturday is priced at 10/1.

14th Feb 2021

12:00 - Southampton v Wolves

Southampton Win @ 11/8

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton and Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers square off in Premier League action at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon. On Thursday in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup, goals from Danny Ings and Stuart Armstrong gave the Saints a 2-0 victory at Molineux. Will Southampton see off Wolves once again or will the West Midlands side bite back?

Both teams head into this Premier League fixture in poor league form. Hasenhuttl’s boys have lost each of their last five in the Premier League since edging past Liverpool in a surprise win in early January, while Nuno’s Wanderers have picked up just one league win in 10 league matches. That leaves Wolves closer to the relegation battle than that for the European places, which will be troubling for their fans. This one could go either way at St Mary’s, but we fancy the Saints to follow up the midweek FA Cup win at Molineux with another victory over Wolves at the weekend. Backing the Southampton win at odds of 11/8 looks a good course of action to us.

14th Feb 2021

13:00 - Brentford v Barnsley

Brentford Win & Over 4.5 Goals @ 7/1

Brentford will be looking for another three points when they welcome Barnsley to the Brentford Community Stadium in the EFL Championship this Sunday. After a 3-1 win at Reading in midweek, Thomas Frank’s Bees moved to the top of the Championship table. As for the Tykes, they are in 13th place in the table with 36 points to their name.

Brentford are in staggering form having won 13 and drawn eight of their last 21 Championship matches. Since a 1-1 draw with promotion rivals Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium last month, the Londoners have won four in a row, scoring 17 goals in the process. The Bees should make it five wins on the bounce at the weekend. Brentford have been involved in several high-scoring games this season, so check out the excellent odds of 7/1 for the home win and over 4.5 goals here.

14th Feb 2021

14:00 - West Brom v Manchester United

Manchester United HT/FT @ 10/11

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer takes his Manchester United troops to The Hawthorns this Sunday to face Sam Allardyce’s relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion. The Baggies have struggled on their Premier League return, picking up just two wins from their 23 matches to date. As for the Red Devils, they are sitting pretty in second place in the table at present, six points ahead of fifth-place Chelsea and five behind leaders Man City.

Since taking over in the West Midlands, Allardyce has guided West Brom to just one league win from 10 matches. Since a 3-2 victory at Molineux in mid-January, Albion have taken one point from a possible 15, which is hardly going to send them clear of the relegation zone. Man United’s shock home reverse to bottom club Sheffield United last month remains their only Premier League defeat since 1st November. Ole’s boys should sail to all three points at The Hawthorns this Sunday, barring any unforeseen mishaps. We’re confident the Red Devils will prevail and we’ll be backing United to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 10/11.

14th Feb 2021

16:30 - Arsenal v Leeds

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Arsenal and Leeds United go head-to-head in a tasty fixture at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. In the reverse Premier League game at Elland Road back in November, there was nothing to the split the pair in a goalless draw. These two are separated by just one position and one point, and this could be another close counter, but we fancy there will be some goals this time around.

Mikel Arteta’s men have improved of late, but the Gunners have lost back-to-back league games to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa. As for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds, since three league and cup defeats on the spin, United have won three of their following four in the Premier League, moving into the top half of the table as a result. We fancy Leeds to hold Arsenal to a draw on Sunday. Back the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.

14th Feb 2021

19:00 - Everton v Fulham

Everton to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

On Sunday night, Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton entertain Scott Parker’s Fulham in a Premier League affair at Goodison Park. When these two teams locked horns at Craven Cottage back in November, the Toffees edged a five-goal thriller in west London. Can in-form Everton do the league double over the struggling Cottagers this weekend and start challenging for the Champions League places?

Ancelotti’s boys beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-4 (after extra time) in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup in midweek, and the Toffees have been tough to beat of late, losing only once since New Year’s Day. Fulham are without a win since November and look destined to make an instant return to the EFL Championship. Everton will be looking for a comfortable win on home soil this Sunday, so back the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at the decent odds of 12/5.

15th Feb 2021

18:00 - West Ham v Sheffield United

West Ham United to Win -1 Goal @ 15/8

David Moyes’ West Ham United host Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United at the London Stadium in Premier League action on Monday evening. The Hammers are enjoying a fine season in the top flight and have picked up 11 wins from their 23 matches to date. In contrast, the Blades are bottom of the league having taken just 11 points from a possible 69, and facing the prospect of playing Championship football next season.

West Ham have been in superb form since the turn of the year, winning five, drawing one and losing one of seven Premier League matches. Sheffield United have shown a big improvement in 2021, winning three of their last six in the league, but we fancy Moyes’ West Ham to claim a comfortable win on home turf this Monday. You can get the solid odds of 15/8 for the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap.

15th Feb 2021

20:00 - Chelsea v Newcastle

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 10/11

Thomas Tuchel has made a strong start to life at Stamford Bridge, guiding Chelsea to four straight league and cup wins after starting with a 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers. On Monday, the Blues will be looking for five victories in a row when they entertain Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United at the Bridge in Premier League action. The hosts are the clear favourites in this one but could Newcastle spring a surprise?

Chelsea have been very solid at the back since Tuchel arrived, keeping clean sheets against Wolves, Burnley, Tottenham Hotspur and Barnsley (Emirates FA Cup). Unpredictable Newcastle head to west London having won two of their last three in the Premier League and have got the better of Everton and Southampton in recent weeks. However, Chelsea should win this one on home turf. Have a punt on Tuchel’s Blues to win to nil again at a fair price of 10/11.

16th Feb 2021

19:00 - Preston v Watford

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Preston North End and Watford meet at Deepdale on Tuesday in EFL Championship action. The Lilywhites are in 11th place in the table at present, while the Hornets are riding high in fourth spot. For a team challenging for promotion, Watford’s away form has been pretty poor this term. Nevertheless, Xisco Munoz’s men are the favourites in this one.

Alex Neil’s Preston have struggled for consistency of late, but they did pick up a precious 2-1 win against Lancashire neighbours Blackburn Rovers on Friday night. However, North End have not won at home since December. After three away league and cup defeats on the spin, Watford have won one and drawn two of their last three away games. We fancy this one to end all square at Deepdale. Back the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.

16th Feb 2021

19:00 - Stoke v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday Win @ 11/4

Stoke City entertain Sheffield Wednesday at the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday in the EFL Championship. Michael O’Neill’s Potters are on an awful run of form at present having drawn six and lost three of their nine matches since a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers on 19th December. The Owls have won six of their last nine in the Championship and are close to escape from the bottom three.

That win over Blackburn remains Stoke’s only victory in 15 league and cup matches. City’s poor form has seen them slip down to 10th position in the table. Neil Thompson is doing a fine job as caretaker manager of Sheffield Wednesday. After their recent pick up in results, Wednesday have moved on to 28 points, though they are still in the relegation zone, albeit just a point behind 21st place Rotherham. We fancy the away team to leave the Potteries with another precious three points in this one. Check out the away win at a decent price of 11/4.

16th Feb 2021

19:45 - Bristol City v Reading

Reading to Win -1 Goal @ 3/1

With the pressure starting to mount on Dean Holden, Bristol City will be desperate for all three points when they entertain Reading at Ashton Gate on Tuesday in the EFL Championship. The Robins head into this one having lost nine of their last 12 matches in the league. Last time out, Bristol City were thrashed 6-0 at Watford. Can the hosts avoid another defeat in midweek or will it be five league defeats on the bounce?

After four wins and three draws from seven, Reading’s promotion bid was well and truly back on track. However, over the past week the Royals have lost back-to-back Championship games to Brentford and Millwall. Nonetheless, Veljko Paunovic’s men are still in the playoff positions and will be up for this one. We can see Reading returning to winning ways against sorry Bristol City and you can get a fine price of 3/1 for the away team to win with a -1 goal handicap on Tuesday.

16th Feb 2021

19:45 - Wycombe v Derby

Derby County HT/FT @ 2/1

Bottom side Wycombe Wanderers welcome in-form Derby County to Adams Park for an EFL Championship encounter on Tuesday night. The Chairboys look to be heading back to EFL League One, but they showed plenty of fighting spirit in last weekend’s 3-2 win at Huddersfield Town. However, Wayne Rooney’s Rams are the odds-on favourites in this one after some decent form in recent weeks.

Derby have really turned their fortunes around in recent weeks, winning four of their last five games in the Championship. After a poor 3-0 defeat at Rotherham United, County hit back with a hard-fought 2-1 home victory over Middlesbrough last Saturday. Wycombe won their last game, but we fancy Derby to secure a comfortable victory at Adams Park in midweek. You can get the tempting odds of 2/1 for the visitors to be winning at half time and full time, which looks good to us.

16th Feb 2021

20:00 - Barcelona v PSG

Barcelona to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

On Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League, giants Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain go head-to-head in a heavyweight Round of 16, 1st leg tie at the Camp Nou. Ronald Koeman’s men have not been at their best this season and are only third in La Liga as things stand, but Blaugrana are in decent form ahead of this one. As for PSG, who reached the final last term, they have won eight of their last nine in all competitions and will be bang up for testing themselves against of the best sides in Europe.

Despite a 3-0 home loss to Juventus on matchday six, Barcelona had an excellent Champions League group stage campaign, winning five of six. Mauricio Pochettino has made a good start to life at the Parc des Princes, but this will be his toughest challenge yet. Three of Barca’s last four wins have been by a one-goal margin, and this one could also be close on the scoreline. Though either side could edge it if they raise their game sufficiently, we’ll be backing the hosts to win by a one goal margin at odds of 10/3.

16th Feb 2021

20:00 - RB Leipzig v Liverpool

RB Leipzig Win @ 19/10

Jurgen Klopp takes his Liverpool troops to Hungary on Tuesday, as the Premier League champions face RB Leipzig at the Puskas Arena in the 1st leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. The Reds will be desperate to put their woeful Premier League form to the back of their minds by picking up a priceless win in Europe on Tuesday.

Liverpool’s title defence has gone down the pan after five defeats in eight, with Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Leicester just the latest in a long line of setbacks. The Merseysiders are now a whopping 13 points behind leaders Manchester City and Klopp has conceded his side will not retain the title they won last term. Liverpool have lost each of their last three games, while Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig have won four league and cup fixtures in a row. Home advantage may be gone, but we fancy the German side to edge past Liverpool in Budapest. The Leipzig win is available at very favourable odds of 19/10.

17th Feb 2021

18:00 - Burnley v Fulham

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Burnley and Fulham meet in a rearranged Premier League fixture at Turf Moor on Wednesday night. The Cottagers are now seven points adrift of safety after a stunning 2-0 win at Everton on Sunday, which was their first league victory since November. The Clarets also picked up an excellent win last weekend, thumping Crystal Palace 3-0 at Selhurst Park.

After going four league and cup matches without a win, victory at Palace on Saturday was just what the doctor ordered for Burnley. The Lancashire side will want to follow that up with three points on their own patch this Wednesday. Fulham were excellent at Everton on Sunday, with Josh Maja netting twice in a 2-0 win. We fancy these two teams to play out a draw at Turf Moor. The draw and both teams to score is priced at odds of 15/4.

17th Feb 2021

19:00 - Coventry v Norwich

Norwich City to Win -1 Goal @ 5/2

Daniel Farke’s Norwich City are back at the top of the EFL Championship after last weekend’s results, a point ahead of Brentford who suffered an uncharacteristic home defeat to Barnsley. The Canaries beat Stoke City, while Brentford crashed to a shock home loss to Barnsley. On Wednesday night, Farke’s troops will be looking for another three points when they make the trip to St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium to play Mark Robins’ Coventry City.

Before last Saturday’s impressive win over Stoke, Norwich had gone four league and cup games without victory, losing two and drawing two. Coventry lost 3-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium, which was their fifth Championship defeat in 10 games. Norwich were excellent against the Potters, and we fancy the league leaders to leave Birmingham on Wednesday with another three points. Norwich to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 5/2 has caught the eye for us.

17th Feb 2021

20:00 - Porto v Juventus

Draw @ 11/5

Porto take on Juventus in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie on Wednesday night. The Italian giants make the trip to the Estadio do Dragao as the favourites with the bookies, but it will not be an easy task for Andrea Pirlo’s men. Can the home side frustrate the Old Lady and take a positive result to Turin?

Sergio Conceicao’s Dragons have been incredibly hard to beat this season, with the Portuguese side undefeated in 13 league matches (nine wins, four draws). However, each of their last three in the Primeira Liga have ended level. Juve were on a decent unbeaten run themselves before last weekend’s 1-0 loss at Napoli. Porto performed well in the group stage of the completion, finishing as the runners-up to Man City in Group C having amassed 13 points from their six matches. We are backing Porto to hold Juventus to a draw in this first leg, with the stalemate priced at fair odds of 11/5.

17th Feb 2021

20:00 - Sevilla v Borussia Dortmund

Sevilla to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund clash in an intriguing UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie, with the first leg taking place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Wednesday night. Los Rojiblancos are in stunning form and have won each of their last nine league and cup fixtures. In contrast, Dortmund have picked up just one Bundesliga victory in their last six games.

Sevilla, last season’s UEFA Europa League winners, are having another fine season under Julen Lopetegui. Since a 2-0 league loss to leaders Atletico Madrid a month ago, the club from Seville have won all of their matches across all competitions. Lopetegui’s men will certainly fancy their chances in this first leg on home soil. Take a punt on the home team to win by one goal, which the bookies have nicely priced at odds of 3/1.

17th Feb 2021

20:15 - Everton v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win Both Halves @ 2/1

Premier League leaders Manchester City make the trip to Merseyside on Wednesday to face Everton in Premier League action. The Toffees were stunned by lowly Fulham last time out, losing 2-0 to the Cottagers at Goodison Park. As you would expect, Man City, who are in stunning form, head to Everton as the clear favourites to get the win as they attempt to get ever closer to this season’s Premier League title.

The Citizens picked up a comfortable victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium in their last outing, with Ilkay Gundogan (2) and Rodri getting the goals in an easy 3-0 triumph. That was City’s 16th league and cup win on the bounce. The in-form visitors should secure a 12th Premier League victory in a row on Wednesday given Everton’s somewhat patchy form of late. There is good value in the away team to win both halves at odds of 2/1.

17th Feb 2021

20:15 - Bournemouth v Rotherham

Bournemouth Win & Over 4.5 Goals @ 7/1

Bournemouth entertain Rotherham United at the Vitality Stadium in the EFL Championship on Wednesday. The Cherries have made an unbeaten start under caretaker boss Jonathan Woodgate, who has guided the club to two wins and a draw from three league and cup matches. Bournemouth will be targeting all three points from this home fixture.

After wins over Birmingham City and Burnley (Emirates FA Cup), Woodgate’s side battled to a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest last weekend. Paul Warne’s Rotherham will be fresh after their game was called off due to the weather, but Bournemouth should see off the Millers at the Vitality. These two drew 2-2 at the New York Stadium back in November, and we could see another goal fest this Wednesday. The home win and over 4.5 goals to be scored it priced at the chunky odds of 7/1, which is enough to tempt us in.

18th Feb 2021

18:00 - Real Sociedad v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win -1 @ 3/1

Manchester United resume their UEFA Europa League campaign with a Round of 32 tie against Spanish side Real Sociedad. The 1st leg will take place on neutral territory due to current travel restrictions, with the Juventus Stadium in Italy playing host on Thursday night. After dropping out of the UEFA Champions League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys are now one of the favourites to win the Europa League. Can the Premier League outfit get off to a winning start in Turin against a side who have been the surprise package in La Liga for much of this season?

Imanol Alguacil’s Sociedad have had a mixed bag of results of late, but the Royals head to Italy having won their last two in La Liga and despite a stutter they are currently fifth. United have been very tough to beat this season, losing just eight of 37 league and cup games. In the Champions League, the Red Devils picked up wins over the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig. We fancy Man United to win -1 on Thursday at 3/1.

18th Feb 2021

18:00 - Wolfsberger v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur to Win to Nil @ 11/8

At the Puskas Arena on Thursday night, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur take on Austrian side Wolfsberger in the 1st leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie. Spurs are in poor form in the Premier League, but they are the clear favourites to get the win on Thursday and to progress through to the last 16 of the Europa League. Jose knows all about winning this competition and silverware would certainly buy him time in north London.

Tottenham have lost four of their last five in the Premier League, slipping down to ninth place as a result, although due to a game in hand and the compact nature of the current standings they remain in the hunt for a top four finish. However, in the Europa League, the London side have picked up an impressive seven wins from nine fixtures so far. In the Europa League group stage, Jose’s boys won without conceding on three occasions. The Portuguese boss knows exactly how to set about a two-legged tie and we are backing Tottenham to win to nil in Budapest on Thursday at 11/8.

18th Feb 2021

18:00 - Slavia Prague v Leicester City

Leicester City Win @ Evens

Brendan Rodgers takes his in-form Leicester City side to the Sinobo Stadium in the Czech Republic capital this Thursday to face Slavia Prague in the 1st leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie. The Foxes are having another fine season under Rodgers, and City will be looking to go far in Europe. Can they take a win back to the King Power Stadium as they continue a push for silverware alongside their battle to finish as high as possible in the Premier League?

Slavia Prague are a decent outfit, winning eight of their last nine in the Czech First League, and the Czech champions are sure to be very competitive over two legs. However, the Foxes, who beat Premier League champions Liverpool last time out, will fancy their chances in Prague. This is a massive step up in class for the hosts and one they may struggle with. Rodgers’ troops have a stunning record on the road this season, so back the Leicester win on Thursday at evens.

18th Feb 2021

20:00 - Benfica v Arsenal

Draw @ 13/5

Jorge Jesus’ Benfica and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal meet at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League. The 1st leg of this Round of 32 tie will take place in Rome, while next week’s 2nd leg will be played at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece. Just standard stuff in these crazy times! This mouth-watering Europa League knockout tie could go either way, though the Gunners are the favourites to go through and the Portuguese league is probably not as strong as it was five or so years ago.

Benfica have been in patchy form in the Primeira Liga lately too, picking up only two wins from their last eight in the league. As for Arsenal, after taking just one point from three league games, they got back to winning ways in the Premier League at the weekend, beating Leeds United 4-2 in fine style at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners were made to work hard in the second half by Leeds though and there may be a little fatigue here. Thursday’s clash in Rome could be a close one, and we like the look of the draw at 13/5.

18th Feb 2021

20:00 - Antwerp v Rangers

Rangers Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have had a staggering season so far. The Gers, who are miles clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, have lost just one of their 40 league and cup fixtures, winning 33 times along the way. On Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League, Rangers travel to the Bosuilstadion in Belgium to face Franky Vercauteren’s Antwerp and they have to be considered dark horses for this competition.

Rangers finished top of their Europa League group, winning four and drawing two of six to finish two points ahead of Benfica. Antwerp were runners-up to Tottenham Hotspur in Group J. With Gerrard’s men in such scintillating form, we can see the Glasgow giants getting a precious win in Antwerp on Thursday. Put some money on the away side to win and both teams to score, which is available at the solid odds of 3/1.

19th Feb 2021

19:45 - Watford v Derby County

Watford Win & BTTS @ 4/1

Watford and Derby County go head-to-head at Vicarage Road in the EFL Championship on Friday evening. They may be competing at different ends of the table but both teams are in good form, with the Hornets winning five of their last eight in the league, while the Rams have won five of six. As expected, Watford are the favourites on home turf, but can County cause an upset in Hertfordshire?

Xisco Munoz has made a solid start at Vicarage Road, guiding Watford to six wins from 10 Championship matches. Wayne Rooney’s Derby have certainly turned a corner, winning five of their last six in the league, but this will be a tall order for the Rams. Watford have the best home record in the Championship, collecting a really impressive 35 points from 15 games. Take a punt on the home win and both teams to score in this one at the very juicy price of 4/1.

19th Feb 2021

20:00 - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds United

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United meet in a fascinating Premier League fixture at Molineux on Friday night. Wolves’ have not had a great season in general but their results have picked up of late, while Leeds are capable of beating anyone in the Premier League. Who will come out on top at Molineux in this clash between sides currently 12th and 11th in the table respectively?

Nuno’s Wanderers have had a poor season by their high standards, but the Midlands club have won two and drawn one of their last three to sit just two points behind Leeds (though the Whites have a game in hand). It was a close game at Elland Road in the reverse fixture back in October, with a Raul Jimenez strike giving the visitors a narrow 1-0 win. In total, eight of Wolves’ 10 league and cup victories this season have been by a one-goal margin. Check out the solid odds of 10/3 for Wolves to win by one again on Friday.

20th Feb 2021

12:30 - Coventry City v Brentford

Brentford to Win -2 @ 11/2

Thomas Frank’s Brentford will be desperate to get back on track after suffering back-to-back EFL Championship losses. This Saturday, the high flying Bees make the trip to St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium to face Mark Robins’ Coventry City. The Sky Blues have struggled recently, drawing two and losing three of their last five league games.

Before last Sunday’s shock home defeat to Barnsley, Brentford had not lost in the Championship since October. Frank’s men then lost again in midweek, this time losing 2-1 to west London rivals Queens Park Rangers. Nevertheless, Brentford have looked the real deal in the Championship this season, and we are backing the Londoners to hit back in style at the weekend. Have a punt on the away team to win with a -2 goal handicap, which is available at odds of 11/2.

20th Feb 2021

12:30 - Southampton v Chelsea

Chelsea HT/FT @ 7/4

Saturday’s early kick off in the Premier League takes place at St Mary’s, as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton entertain Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea. The Blues will be looking for a fifth league win on the spin, while the Saints will be desperate to avoid a seventh successive Premier League loss. Chelsea are the clear favourites in this one as they attempt to cement their place in the top four in the table.

Since kicking off 2021 with a 1-0 home win over Liverpool, Southampton have gone on to lose six in a row in the Premier League, slipping down to 13th place in the table as a result. Tuchel started life in London with a 0-0 home league draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Chelsea have won every one of their following five games in all competitions. We can see the Blues easing to a relatively comfortable win at St Mary’s on Saturday. Back the away team to be winning at half time and full time at a fair price of 7/4.

20th Feb 2021

15:00 - Burnley v West Bromwich Albion

Burnley to Win to Nil @ 11/5

Sean Dyche’s Burnley and Sam Allardyce’s West Bromwich Albion go head-to-head at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The Baggies look to be heading for an instant return to the EFL Championship, with the West Midlands side having won just two Premier League games all season. Will Albion crash to a 16th league defeat this weekend or can they begin to salvage some pride after a pretty dire campaign?

Burnley have been in patchy form of late, but they have picked up three Premier League wins over the past month, seeing off the likes of current champions Liverpool, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. Since Allardyce arrived at The Hawthorns, West Brom have won one, drawn three and lost seven of their 11 Premier League fixtures. The Baggies have failed to score in five of their last seven defeats, so take a punt on Burnley to win to nil at odds of 11/5.

20th Feb 2021

17:30 - Liverpool v Everton

Draw & BTTS @ 9/2

Rivals Liverpool and Everton do battle at Anfield on Saturday in what promises to be a fascinating Merseyside derby. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are in miserable form in the Premier League and have lost each of their last three games at Anfield. As for the Toffees, they have fallen to back-to-back home league defeats to Fulham and Manchester City.

Champions Liverpool have been on a woeful run of late, losing five of their previous eight in the Premier League. However, the Reds did pick up a 2-0 win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League last time out. Everton have taken just five points from the last 18 on offer, but we fancy Carlo Ancelotti’s troops to hold their rivals to a draw on Saturday as the title slips ever further out of Klopp’s grasp. The draw and both teams to score is available at the top odds of 9/2 which looks good value to us.

20th Feb 2021

20:00 - Fulham v Sheffield United

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

Scott Parker’s Fulham and Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United meet at Craven Cottage in Premier League action this Saturday night. Despite some good results in recent weeks, the Blades remain rooted to the foot of the table with just 11 points to their name. Parker’s Cottagers are currently eight points ahead in 18th position, six points adrift of safety.

Fulham have picked up only one Premier League victory since November, but the London side have lost just four of their last 14 games in the league. Since the turn of the year, Sheffield United have won six of 11 league and cup games. These two drew 1-1 at Bramall Lane earlier in the season, and we fancy a similar outcome from this one. The 1-1 draw at the weekend is available at the tempting price of 11/2.

21st Feb 2021

12:00 - West Ham v Tottenham

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

London rivals West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur meet at the London Stadium in Premier League action on Sunday. David Moyes’ men are enjoying a stunning season, currently sitting pretty in fifth spot. Spurs are six points behind the Hammers in ninth. Sunday’s fixture is a huge game for both clubs, with both still hoping they might be able to clinch a top four spot.

West Ham have won six of their previous eight in the Premier League, easing past Sheffield United with a 3-0 win last time out. Tottenham secured a big victory in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, but Jose Mourinho’s men have lost four of their last five league matches. These two teams drew 3-3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in October, with West Ham scoring three times in the last eight minutes to earn an unlikely point. We fancy another decent game here so back the draw and both teams to score in this one at juicy odds of 10/3.

21st Feb 2021

14:05 - Aston Villa v Leicester

Leicester City Win @ 7/5

Midlands duo Aston Villa and Leicester City square off at Villa Park in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. The Villans have surprised many this season, with Dean Smith’s men winning half of their 22 Premier League matches so far. As for Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes, they are currently in third place with an impressive 46 points to their name. Once again, two teams looking to play in Europe next year but who will prevail here?

Aston Villa have been solid at Villa Park in the league lately, winning three of their last four. However, Leicester have been excellent on the road this season, picking up eight wins from 12 away league games. At the time of writing, only Manchester United have taken more points on their travels. City have lost just one game since mid-December, and Rodgers’ men should nick this one. The Leicester win is priced at 7/5 and that looks very solid to us.

21st Feb 2021

16:30 - Arsenal v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 8/5

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City meet in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture, arguably the biggest of the weekend, at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday. The Gunners have improved in recent months, while City are in staggering form. Can Arsenal cause an upset on home soil, or will Pep’s boys move a step closer to the title with three points in the capital? The champions-elect are breaking records for fun at the moment and look unstoppable but can the young apprentice get the better of his former master?

Arsenal have won six of their last 10 in the Premier League, beating Leeds United 4-2 at home last weekend. However, City’s run makes that look like a points drought. Since a 1-1 home league draw with West Bromwich Albion in mid-December, Man City have won 17 league and cup games in a row. They are proving almost impossible to score against too, their defence looking tighter than it ever has during Pep’s time in England. The reverse league game ended in a 1-0 win for City, with Raheem Sterling netting the only goal. Take a punt on the Citizens to win to nil again at 8/5.

21st Feb 2021

19:00 - Manchester United v Newcastle

Manchester United to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

On Sunday night, Manchester United welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford for a Premier League fixture. The Red Devils are in fine fettle, losing just two games across all competitions since early December. In contrast, the Magpies have lost six of their last eight in the Premier League and have drifted very much into the relegation battle. Will Man United pick up a comfortable home win on Sunday?

The Red Devils ran riot against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League in midweek, with the excellent Bruno Fernandes helping himself to a double in a 4-0 win in Turin. However, after back-to-back draws in the Premier League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys will be looking to get back to winning ways at the weekend. Our money is going on a routine home win here – take a punt on the hosts to win both halves (7/4).

22nd Feb 2021

20:00 - Brighton v Crystal Palace

Brighton & Hove Albion Win & BTTS @ 7/2

Rivals Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace lock horns at the Amex Stadium in the Premier League on Monday night. The Seagulls are in good form, unbeaten in six in the league, a run which has steered them away from the scrap at the bottom. In contrast, Palace have lost four of their last six Premier League matches, although they too should be safe. There is not much to separate these, geographically or in terms of ability and the pair drew 1-1 at Selhurst Park earlier in the season, but will there be a winner on Monday?

Brighton have turned their fortunes around with a string of good results since the turn of the year. The Seagulls are unbeaten in six, winning three and drawing three. The Eagles have been woeful in their last two, losing 2-0 at Leeds United before a 3-0 home defeat to Burnley last weekend. We fancy in-form Brighton to take the bragging rights in this one. Back the Albion win and both teams to score at 7/2.

23rd Feb 2021

18:00 - Leeds v Southampton

Leeds United Win & BTTS @ 13/5

On Tuesday evening at Elland Road, Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton meet in the Premier League. United have been in patchy form in recent weeks and have won three and lost three of their last six matches. As for the Saints, they stopped a six-game losing streak in the league with a good draw with Chelsea last time out.

Leeds have blown hot and cold this term, but the Yorkshire club have had a fine season back in the Premier League. Overall, Bielsa’s boys have picked up an impressive 32 points from 24 league games. The Saints have been in dreadful form of late, but last weekend’s draw with Chelsea was certainly a step in the right direction. We fancy this one to end all square at Elland Road. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 13/5.

23rd Feb 2021

19:00 - Birmingham v Norwich

Norwich City to Win -1 Goal @ 7/4

EFL Championship leaders Norwich City are on the road this week, as Daniel Farke takes his Canaries to St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium on Tuesday night to face Aitor Karanka’s Birmingham City. Norwich, who have won three in a row, head to Birmingham as the big favourites with the bookies.

Despite picking up a much-needed win at Sheffield Wednesday last time out, Birmingham have had a miserable season so far. The Blues have not won at home since a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town on 28th October, going on to lose nine and draw two of their following 11 at St Andrew’s. Norwich are back in control at the summit after three straight wins. We fancy the Canaries to take another step towards the Premier League with three points on Tuesday. You can get decent odds of 7/4 for Norwich to win with a -1 goal handicap.

23rd Feb 2021

19:00 - Derby v Huddersfield

Derby County Win & BTTS @ 15/4

Wayne Rooney’s Derby County and Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield Town meet in an intriguing EFL Championship fixture at Pride Park this Tuesday. The in-form Rams will be hoping to bounce back with a win after last weekend’s narrow loss at Watford. As for the Terriers, can they build on their stunning victory over promotion-chasing Swansea City?

Derby are in fine fettle and have gained victory in five of their last seven games in the Championship. As a result, County have moved five points clear of the bottom three. Huddersfield stunned the Swans last time out, thumping the Welsh side 4-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium. However, that was Town’s first win of 2021 and they have tended to struggle in recent times. We fancy Derby to secure all three points on home soil this Tuesday. Check out the solid odds of 15/4 for the home win and both teams to score in this one.

23rd Feb 2021

19:45 - Rotherham v Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Rotherham United and Nottingham Forest square off at the New York Stadium in EFL Championship action this Tuesday night. Despite showing signs of life in recent weeks, three straight defeats have taken the Millers back into the bottom three. Chris Hughton has made Nottingham Forest tough to beat, and the away side are the rightful favourites in this one.

Rotherham still have games in hand on their relegation rivals, but United are two points adrift of safety after last weekend’s results. Forest have moved well clear of the bottom three after several good wins, with Hughton’s side now up to 17th position in the table with 36 points to their name. This could be a close one, but we fancy Nottingham Forest to just about do enough to nick the points. You can get Forest to win by a one goal margin at odds of 3/1.

23rd Feb 2021

20:00 - Atletico Madrid v Chelsea

Draw @ 21/10

Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League campaign gets back up and running this Tuesday with a tough game against Atletico Madrid at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest. Atleti are flying in La Liga at present, and Diego Simeone’s men are the favourites in this one. However, Thomas Tuchel has made an unbeaten start to life in west London.

Madrid are the surprise leaders of La Liga as things stand, but Los Colchoneros were beaten at home by Levante last time out. That was Atleti’s first league reverse since losing the Madrid derby way back in mid-December. After five straight league and cup wins, Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton last weekend. This Round of 16 tie could go either way, and we fancy the pair to play out a draw in the Romanian capital on Tuesday at odds of 21/10.

23rd Feb 2021

20:00 - Lazio v Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich Win & BTTS @ 15/8

Lazio and Bayern Munich lock horns in a UEFA Champions League Round of 16, first leg tie at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Tuesday night. Simone Inzaghi’s men may be the underdogs against the current Champions League holders, but the White and Sky Blues are not an easy nut to crack in the Olimpico and have won each of their last seven games on home soil.

Bayern Munich were beaten at Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, which was just their third Bundesliga defeat of the season. Nevertheless, Hans-Dieter Flick’s men are still at the top of the table. As we mentioned, Lazio are excellent at home, but Bayern will fancy their chances of bringing home a lead for the second leg. Check out the top price of 15/8 for the away victory and both teams to score in this clash.

24th Feb 2021

17:00 - Tottenham v Wolfsberger

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -2 Goals @ 7/4

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur have one foot in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League after a convincing win in the first leg of their last 32 tie. Spurs will be hoping to get the job done in style when they welcome Ferdinand Feldhofer’s Wolfsberger to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening. As you would expect, Tottenham are the overwhelming favourites in this one and this match could come as light relief after some tricky weeks on the domestic front of late.

Mourinho’s men have been struggling in the Premier League recently but they were excellent in the first leg of this Europa League Round of 32 tie. The Londoners ran riot at the Puskas Arena in Budapest last week, with goals from Heung-Min Son, Gareth Bale, Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius giving them a resounding 4-1 win. Put some money on Tottenham to win with a -2 goal handicap again at odds of 7/4.

24th Feb 2021

19:00 - Brentford v Sheffield Weds

Brentford Win & BTTS @ 13/5

Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday clash in the EFL Championship on Wednesday at the Brentford Community Stadium. Thomas Frank’s Bees will be desperate to get back to winning ways after suffering three shock defeats on the spin. The London side are now seven points behind leaders Norwich City and their prospects of earning automatic promotion to the top flight are suddenly very much in the balance. Will Brentford pick up an invaluable three points on home soil in midweek?

Frank’s troops were going great guns before a surprise 2-0 home defeat to Barnsley on 14th February. They have crashed to two more defeats since then, losing at rivals Queens Park Rangers and at Coventry City. However, the lowly Owls have lost three of their last four games and are still in the bottom three as things stand. We get the impression Brentford will strike back with a vital victory in midweek and there is good value in the home win and both teams to score at odds of 13/5.

24th Feb 2021

19:45 - Preston v QPR

Queens Park Rangers Win @ 13/8

The pressure is starting to crank up on Alex Neil after his Preston North End side were hammered at the Cardiff City Stadium last weekend. Defeat in the Welsh capital was the Lilywhites’ fourth EFL Championship loss in five. This Wednesday at Deepdale, North End entertain in-form Queens Park Rangers, who have won each of their last four matches in the Championship.

After a poor run of results, Preston have dropped 10 points behind the play-off places in the Championship. In contrast, QPR are up to 13th position in the table after four wins in a row. The R’s have taken a staggering 18 points from the last 21 on offer and Mark Warburton’s men will back themselves to get the win at Deepdale in midweek. Put a few quid on the QPR to prevail at odds of 13/8.

24th Feb 2021

19:45 - Bournemouth v Cardiff

Cardiff City Win @ 12/5

Bournemouth and Cardiff City go head-to-head in a vital EFL Championship fixture at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night. The Bluebirds have been in stunning form since the experienced Mick McCarthy took over in the Welsh capital, drawing two and winning five of seven. Cardiff would go level with the Cherries if they can earn the three points at the Vitality on Wednesday.

Bournemouth have struggled for wins in recent months, picking up just three victories in the Championship since the turn of the year. Cardiff have had no such problems, as three points in midweek would be their sixth league win in a row. McCarthy has got City playing to their maximum capacity At present and we fancy the Welsh side to pick up a precious three points on the road on Wednesday. The Cardiff win is nicely priced at odds of 12/5.

24th Feb 2021

20:00 - Gladbach v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City travel to the Puskas Arena in Hungary this Wednesday to take on Marco Rose’s Borussia Monchengladbach in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16, first leg tie. Man City are in stunning form at the moment, and the Manchester giants are the bookies’ favourites to win this season’s Champions League. Will they be too strong for the Germans on Wednesday?

The Citizens head into this European game in astonishing form. Last weekend’s Premier League win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium was their 18th consecutive league and cup victory. Man City are unbeaten since a 2-0 league loss at Tottenham Hotspur way back in November. Rampant Man City should make light work of Gladbach on Wednesday, despite the Germans having qualified for the knockout stages ahead of Inter and just behind Real Madrid in Group B. Back the Premier League leaders to win both halves at a nice price of 7/4.

24th Feb 2021

20:00 - Atalanta v Real Madrid

Draw & Over 3.5 Goal @ 7/1

Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta welcome Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Wednesday night. Los Blancos are the favourites to win this UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie outright but the Serie A side are fancied to prevail in Bergamo in midweek. This promises to be an enthralling game between two free-scoring teams.

Gasperini’s side are having another fine season in Serie A, currently sitting in fourth spot with 43 points to their name. They gave Liverpool a decent run for their money in Group D but the Italians finished two points adrift of the Premier League champions in the end. Real closed the gap at the top of La Liga with a win over Valladolid at the weekend (while leaders Atletico Madrid fell to a shock home defeat). This Champions League affair could go either way on Wednesday, so we are backing the draw in Italy. Check out the draw and over 3.5 goals at a chunky price of 7/1.

25th Feb 2021

17:55 - Arsenal v Benfica

Arsenal Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Arsenal and Benfica go head-to-head in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie on Thursday night. The Gunners are the odds-on favourites at the Karaiskakis Stadium, but the Portuguese side will be no pushovers in Greece. The tie is delicately poised after the pair drew 1-1 at the Stadio Olimpico last week but Arsenal will be confident enough of progressing.

A Pizzi penalty gave Jorge Jesus’ Benfica the lead in Rome last Thursday, but Arsenal went straight down the other end and equalised through Bukayo Saka. The north London side have been in patchy form of late and have won just one of their last six matches in all competitions, but we fancy Mikel Arteta’s men to get the job done in Greece on Thursday. Not least because they had a 100% record in Group B of this tournament, when they won all six of their games. Check out the solid price of 11/4 for the Arsenal win and both teams to score in this one.

25th Feb 2021

17:55 - Rangers v Antwerp

Rangers to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers welcome Franky Vercauteren’s Antwerp to Ibrox Stadium this Thursday in UEFA Europa League action. The Gers edged a seven-goal thriller in the first leg of this Round of 32 tie last week, and the second leg promises to be another enthralling encounter. Will the runaway Scottish Premiership leaders book their spot in the last 16 of this term’s Europa League?

Gerrard’s men are having an astonishing season, with Rangers winning 35 of their 42 league and cup matches so far, including four of their six group matches in the Europa League. The Glasgow giants were 3-2 down with seven minutes to go in Belgium, but an Antwerp red card and late goals from Ryan Kent and Borna Barisic helped the Gers to a stunning 4-3 win. We are backing Rangers to seal a more comfortable victory on home turf this Thursday. Put some money on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 11/10.

25th Feb 2021

20:00 - Leicester v Slavia Prague

Leicester City Win @ 8/15

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City entertain Jindrich Trpisovsky’s Slavia Prague at the King Power Stadium on Thursday. In the first leg of this intriguing UEFA Europa League tie, there was nothing to split the pair in a 0-0 draw at the Sinobo Stadium in the Czech capital. Having battled to a draw in Prague, can the Foxes get the win on home turf this Thursday? They will certainly fancy their chances after some big home performances this term, despite the odd blip.

Leicester have been incredibly hard to beat lately, losing just one of their previous 16 games across all competitions. Since a surprise 3-1 home league loss to Leeds United, City have won four and drawn two of their last six games. Neither side could find a winner in the opening leg, but we fancy Rodgers’ Leicester to see off Slavia in the East Midlands on Thursday. The home win is available at a price of 8/15 to win the match.

25th Feb 2021

20:00 - Manchester United v Real Sociedad

Manchester United to Win to Nil @ 11/4

Manchester United have one foot in the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League after a convincing 4-0 win over Real Sociedad last week. This Thursday, the Red Devils will want to get the job done in style when they welcome the Spanish side to Old Trafford for the second leg of their Round of 32 tie. As expected, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys are the clear favourites in this one.

United are enjoying a fine season under Solskjaer, with the Manchester giants currently sitting pretty in second spot in the Premier League table. They have been tough to beat this term, losing just eight of their 39 matches to date. Man United ran riot when these two met in Turin last week, with goals from Bruno Fernandes (2), Marcus Rashford and Daniel James giving the Premier League club a resounding victory. Back United to win to nil again at a fair price of 11/4.

26th Feb 2021

19:45 - Derby v Nottingham Forest

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Derby County and Nottingham Forest lock horns in an East Midlands derby in the EFL Championship this Friday night. Neither side has enjoyed the sort of campaign they would have hoped for and both are at the wrong end of the table. Wayne Rooney’s Rams are in fine fettle right now though, and are the slight favourites at Pride Park, but Forest too are going well and have won four of their last six in the Championship. Who will come out on top in this fascinating fixture on Friday?

Derby have been on a great run since Rooney took over on a permanent basis, with County heading into this one having won six of their previous eight in the Championship. As we touched on, Nottingham Forest are also in good form under the experienced Chris Hughton. The reverse game at the City Ground back in October ended in a 1-1 draw, and we fancy the rivals to cancel each other out once again. Back the draw and both teams to score (15/4).

27th Feb 2021

12:30 - Manchester City v West Ham

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 20/21

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and David Moyes’ West Ham United square off in a Premier League meeting at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday. After a stunning run of results, City have moved a huge 10 points clear at the top of the table. Victory in this one will be their 14th Premier League win on the spin and teams can barely score against City right now, let alone take any points from them.

Since a 1-1 league draw with West Bromwich Albion on 15th December, Man City have gone on to win 19 in a row in all competitions. That includes yet another win to nil in midweek in the Champions League. West Ham are having a fine season under Moyes, with the Hammers currently in the UEFA Champions League places. However, we fancy City to secure a comfortable home win here. Pep’s boys have won without conceding a staggering 22 times this term so back the hosts to win to nil once again on Saturday at the very solid looking odds of 20/21.

27th Feb 2021

12:30 - Bournemouth v Watford

Watford Win & BTTS @ 9/2

Jonathan Woodgate’s Bournemouth and Xisco Munoz’s Watford square off at the Vitality Stadium in an EFL Championship cracker this Saturday. The Cherries lost their place in the top six after the midweek defeat to Cardiff City, who overtook them, while the Hornets secured their fourth win in a row. Can Watford leave the Vitality with another vital victory to really press their claims for automatic promotion this term?

Bournemouth have picked up just two Championship wins since starting 2021 with a 1-0 triumph over Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium. Since then, they have lost six of their following 10 in the league. In contrast, Watford are flying under Munoz, with Wednesday’s 3-2 win at Blackburn Rovers being their fourth success on the spin. This should be another good game for the neutral and we like the look of the Watford win and both teams to score in this one, which is available at the tempting price of 9/2.

27th Feb 2021

15:00 - West Brom v Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion Win @ 19/20

On Saturday afternoon at The Hawthorns, Sam Allardyce’s West Bromwich Albion and Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion square off in a big fixture in the Premier League. The Baggies are 11 points adrift of safety with 13 games left, while the Seagulls are four points above 18th place. This is a six-pointer in many ways and if the hosts can win they may just give themselves a sliver of hope. That said, Brighton head to the Midlands as the favourites.

Since a 3-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on 16th January, West Brom are winless in seven, drawing three and losing four. The West Midlands outfit look nailed on for an instant return to the EFL Championship. Brighton have been in good form of late, but they were beaten at home by rivals Crystal Palace last time out. Still, we are backing Potter’s boys to leave The Hawthorns this weekend with maximum points. The away win is priced at 19/20.

27th Feb 2021

17:30 - Leeds v Aston Villa

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Both Leeds United and Aston Villa have had fine seasons in the Premier League so far. Leeds are sitting pretty in 10th place having picked up 11 wins, while the Villans are in eighth with 36 points to their name from 23 games. This Saturday evening, the pair lock horns in a fascinating fixture at Elland Road. Who will come out on top in West Yorkshire? Much may depend on the team news, with both sides unsure if key men Kalvin Phillips (Leeds) and Jack Grealish (Villa) will be able to take part.

Leeds have won four of their last six on home turf, beating Crystal Palace and Southampton without conceding in the last two. As for the Villans, they have been strong away from home this season, collecting an impressive 20 points on their travels. Only six Premier League clubs have taken more away points up until now. On paper, these two are hard to split, so back the draw and both teams to score (10/3).

27th Feb 2021

20:00 - Newcastle v Wolves

Wolves to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United and Nuno Espirito Santo Wolverhampton Wanderers go head-to-head in Premier League action at St James’ Park on Saturday night. Wolves have had a disappointing season on the whole, but Nuno’s boys are starting to find their feet and have moved up the table as a result. Can Wanderers stetch their unbeaten league run to five games with a positive result at St James’?

Newcastle are in terrible form right now and are living dangerously close to the edge, as Fulham are now just three points behind United. Bruce’s boys have been poor in 2021, losing eight of 10 Premier League fixtures. Wolves have shown a big improvement in recent weeks, winning three and drawing one of their previous four in the league. Nine of Wanderers’ 11 league and cup victories this term have been by a one-goal margin. Back Wolves to win by one this weekend at 13/5.

28th Feb 2021

12:00 - Crystal Palace v Fulham

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

London sides Crystal Palace and Fulham lock horns in the Premier League this Sunday with the visitor seeking the points they need to haul themselves out of the bottom three. The Eagles are in patchy form but Roy Hodgson’s men have won three of their last five games, including a 2-1 victory at rivals Brighton and Hove Albion last time out. The Cottagers have been tough to beat lately and have lost just one of their last seven games in the Premier League. It hasn’t always been pretty to watch, but Fulham have been gradually grinding out the result that have given them a glimmer of hope.

Palace have struggled at home in recent months and have picked up just two league victories at Selhurst since early November. Fulham, meanwhile, appear to have grown into the season and Parker’s boys have lost only three of their last 14 in the league, though nine of those have ended in draws. Only Brighton have drawn more games than the Cottagers this term and we would not be at all surprised to see a stalemate here. The draw and both teams to score here is available at odds of 7/2.

28th Feb 2021

12:00 - Leicester v Arsenal

Leicester City Win @ 6/4

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal clash in a tasty-looking Premier League fixture at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. In midweek, the Foxes crashed out of the UEFA Europa League, while the Gunners edged past Benfica in Greece to book their spot in the Round of 16. Will Leicester return to winning ways, or can Arsenal seal a first away win in a month to help them push up the table?

Leicester’s Europa League loss on Thursday was their first defeat in any competition since a 3-1 home league reverse to Leeds United on 31st January. City have lost just two of their past 17 league and cup matches. Defeat in the Europa might actually do them a favour in their quest to finish in the Champions League spots. Arsenal, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four in the Premier League and have won just one of their last five. Overall we think backing the Leicester victory in this one at odds of 6/4 looks the way to go.

28th Feb 2021

12:00 - Wycombe v Norwich

Norwich City HT/FT @ 6/5

EFL Championship leaders Norwich City are in action this Sunday, as Daniel Farke takes his high flying Canaries to Adams Park to face bottom club Wycombe Wanderers. Gareth Ainsworth’s Chairboys look to be heading for an instant return to EFL League One having lost 18 of their 31 league games thus far. In contrast, Norwich are looking good for gaining promotion back to the Premier League.

After going four league and cup games without a win, Norwich have responded amazingly well, securing successive league victories over Stoke City, Coventry City, Rotherham United and Birmingham City. Wycombe have picked up one or two decent results of late, but Norwich should cruise to victory at Adams Park this Sunday. Check out the tempting price of 6/5 for the away team to be winning at half time and full time.

14:00 - Tottenham v Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/5

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate for all three points when they entertain Sean Dyche’s Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this Sunday. Spurs have had a couple of big wins in Europe of late, but they head into this weekend’s match having lost five of their last six games in the Premier League and with pressure mounting on the manager.

Tottenham’s woeful run of form has seen them slip down to ninth in the Premier League table, which is far below expectations at this stage of the campaign. Jose’s boys are now a whopping nine points adrift of the UEFA Champions League places. Burnley still have work to do in their battle for survival, with resurgent Fulham now only six points behind. Despite their recent poor form domestically we get the feeling Tottenham will dust themselves down and secure all three points from this home fixture. The hosts to win and over 2.5 goals to be scored in the game has caught the eye at odds of 7/5.

16:30 - Chelsea v Manchester United

Draw @ 12/5

Heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester United do battle at Stamford Bridge in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. The Blues are unbeaten in eight matches in all competitions under new boss Thomas Tuchel having won six and drawn two. As for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils, they have lost only one Premier League game since a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal way back on 1st November.

Chelsea have certainly improved under Tuchel, and the Londoners secured an excellent UEFA Champions League win over La Liga high flyers Atletico Madrid in midweek. United – who booked their spot in the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday – are sitting pretty in second place in the Premier League and they won’t have given up on the title just yet. United are the only unbeaten side in the division away from home, and we fancy Ole’s boys to battle to a draw in west London at a decent price of 12/5.

19:15 - Sheffield United v Liverpool

Liverpool to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

After four straight Premier League defeats, can champions Liverpool get back to winning ways at the weekend? On Sunday night, Jurgen Klopp takes his wounded Reds to Bramall Lane to face the league’s bottom side Sheffield United. Liverpool are in terrible form domestically, but the Merseyside outfit are the big favourites to win this one. Failure to do so would really get the alarm bells ringing for Liverpool fans.

The Blades are on their way back down to the EFL Championship after winning just three of their 25 league games so far. Chris Wilder’s side are a whopping 14 points adrift of safety with 13 fixtures to play. Liverpool have dropped down to sixth spot after their poor run of results, but they have won three of their last four games on the road in all competitions. Put some money on Liverpool to win with a -1 goal handicap this Sunday at odds of 11/10.

20:00 - Everton v Southampton

Everton to Win to Nil @ 11/4

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton meet at Goodison Park on Monday in the Premier League. The Toffees will still be buzzing after their 2-0 win at Anfield last time out, while the Saints will be looking to end a woeful run of eight league games without a win. As you would expect, Everton are the favourites in this one as they begin to knock on the door of the Champions League places.

The Toffees finally got the better of rivals and current champions Liverpool last Sunday, winning a Merseyside derby for the first time since October 2010. Everton will now be looking for their first home league win since mid-December. Southampton are in dreadful form and have lost seven of their last eight games in the Premier League. Since kicking off 2021 with a 1-0 win over the champions, the Saints have taken just one point from a possible 24. Given the boost in confidence the derby victory will have brought, coupled with Southampton’s woeful current form, we like the look of Everton to win this match to nil at odds of 11/4.
