Football Tips – April 2021

6th Apr 2021

20:00 - Manchester City v Dortmund

Manchester City HT/FT @ 11/10

Manchester City welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday for the 1st leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final. Pep Guardiola’s troops are having a stunning season, and the runaway Premier League leaders are the bookies’ favourites to win their first ever Champions League crown. Will the Citizens ease past Bundesliga side Dortmund in midweek? The Germans are a decent outfit but it really is hard to look past the home win given just good City have looked over the past few months.

Before Saturday’s Premier League clash with Leicester City, Man City have won a staggering 25 of their last 26 matches across all competitions. Pep’s boys have suffered just one defeat since November. Borussia Dortmund have improved in recent weeks after a sticky patch of form but they remain fifth in the Bundesliga, 18 points adrift of Bayern. Man City should be too strong for the German outfit on Tuesday. We like the look of 11/10 for City to be winning at half time and full time.

6th Apr 2021

20:00 - Real Madrid v Liverpool

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool meet in a mouth-watering UEFA Champions League quarter-final. The 1st leg of their heavyweight tie will take place at the Alfredo Di Stefano on Tuesday night. Eight nights later, the famous pair will lock horns at Anfield for the 2nd leg. Can the Premier League champions secure a positive result in Spain to cling onto their only hope of silverware this season?

Klopp’s Reds have had a miserable time in the league since the turn of the year, but they have managed to remain solid in Europe. They beat RB Leipzig 2-0 home and away in the previous round of the Champions League to progress 4-0 on aggregate. Real are in superb form and just love this competition but we fancy Liverpool to return to Merseyside with a precious draw. You can get the tempting odds of 10/3 for the draw and both teams to score.

7th Apr 2021

20:00 - Bayern Munich v PSG

Bayern Munich to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain lock horns in what is the tie of the round and a repeat of last season’s UEFA Champions League final. The 1st leg of this quarter-final tie will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Wednesday night. The Bavarians are the bookies’ favourites, but can PSG return to Paris with a positive result? This promises to be a Champions League cracker and whoever progresses will be right up there with Man City as overall favourites for the tournament outright.

In last year’s final at the Estadio da Luz back in August, Bayern edged a tight game to lift the trophy, with Kingsley Coman netting the only goal of the contest. We are expecting another close encounter between two of Europe’s elite, and one goal could be enough yet again. Hans-Dieter Flick’s troops are running away with the Bundesliga once again and they are the favourites here at evens, and there is good value in 3/1 for the hosts to win by exactly one goal.

7th Apr 2021

20:00 - Porto v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Thomas Tuchel has made an excellent start to life at Chelsea since taking over at Stamford Bridge back in January and he will be happy with the way the CL draw fell, even if he would never admit that. The in-form Blues will be looking to book their place in the last four of the UEFA Champions League by getting the better of Portuguese outfit Porto over two legs. The 1st leg of this quarter-final will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Wednesday.

Chelsea have the easiest tie on paper, but nothing is a foregone conclusion in the Champions League, especially at this stage. Nevertheless, the Premier League side have been superb under Tuchel so far, and the Blues will certainly fancy their chances of seeing off Porto in Seville over two legs. Chelsea have kept several clean sheets since Tuchel’s arrival, and the Londoners are priced at 15/8 to win to nil on Wednesday.

8th Apr 2021

20:00 - Arsenal v Slavia Prague

Arsenal to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal welcome Jindrich Trpisovsky’s Slavia Prague to the Emirates Stadium this Thursday for the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final. Slavia are in tremendous form and have already beaten Leicester City and Rangers in this season’s Europa League. However, the Gunners are the clear favourites in this one and, if they play to their capabilities, should get themselves into a relatively commanding position in the tie.

Since beating Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby in mid-March, Arsenal have lost two and drawn one of their following three in all competitions. One of those defeats was a 1-0 loss to Olympiacos in the Europa League, though the Londoners went through on aggregate. This could be a close encounter at the Emirates but we fancy Arsenal to nick it. Two of their last four wins have been by a one-goal margin – back the hosts to win by one goal this Thursday at odds of 5/2.

8th Apr 2021

20:00 - Granada v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win to Nil @ 7/5

Manchester United’s UEFA Europa League journey continues with a trip to Spain to face Granada of La Liga. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are fancied to get the win at Nuevo Los Carmenes this Thursday, with the bookies pricing the away victory at just 8/13. Can United take a lead to the second leg at Old Trafford or will they come unstuck against this very capable, if out-of-form, Spanish side?

Diego Martinez’s Granada have been in poor form of late, losing three in a row ahead of this one. In fact, the Spanish side have lost three of their last six in the Europa League but have somehow managed to reach the last eight. Man United’s recent Emirates FA Cup loss to Leicester City remains their only defeat since January and they are high on confidence and playing some decent football. The Red Devils have conceded just one Europa League goal so far and we like the look of the away win to nil at a fair price of 7/5.

9th Apr 2021

19:45 - Watford v Reading

Watford to Win to Nil @ 7/4

On Friday night in the EFL Championship, Xisco Munoz’s Watford and Veljko Paunovic’s Reading square off at Vicarage Road in a huge fixture that could have ramifications for the play-offs and the automatic promotion places. The Hornets are closing in on the Premier League, while the Royals are clinging on to the final play-off place at present. Who can hold their nerve and pick up a precious three points from this one?

Watford are in stunning form and have won 10 of their last 12 games in the Championship. Before last Monday’s 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough, Munoz’s men had won six matches on the trot. Reading secured a much-needed victory last time out, beating Derby County 3-1, but we fancy the Hornets to seal the points on home turf this Friday. The Hertfordshire club have kept clean sheets in four of their last six wins and you can get Watford to win to nil here at a very decent price of 7/4.

9th Apr 2021

20:00 - Fulham v Wolves

Fulham to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers meet in a massive Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage on Friday night. Wolves are in danger of being dragged into the relegation dogfight, as a victory for the hosts would take them to within six points of Nuno Espirito Santo’s men. However, a Wanderers win will surely see them safe for another season in the top flight and make life very difficult for Fulham.

Scott Parker’s boys will still be licking their wounds after last weekend’s disappointing loss to Aston Villa. Defeat at Villa Park was Fulham’s third loss in a row which leaves them with plenty of work to do if they are going to remain in the top flight for another season. As for Wolves, they are without a win in five matches in the Premier League having drawn two and lost three. Last time out, Nuno’s troops fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat to high-flying West Ham United, which propelled the Hammers into the top four. With Fulham fighting for their Premier League lives we like the look of the home side to win by a one goal margin this Friday at odds of 11/4

10th Apr 2021

12:30 - Manchester City v Leeds

Manchester City HT/FT @ 5/6

Runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City will be looking for another three points when they welcome Leeds United to the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime. Since a 1-1 league draw with West Bromwich Albion way back on 15th December, City have won all bar one of their games across all competitions. The momentum is clearly with the hosts and they are the overwhelming favourites here to get their latest win on the board.

Leeds have had a fine first season back in the Premier League after winning the EFL Championship last term. However, getting anything from this weekend’s trip to Manchester will most likely be a step too far for Marcelo Bielsa and his men. This could be a walk in the park for Pep Guardiola’s superstars who could well bang in a few goals. Have a punt on Man City to be winning at half time and full time at the Etihad, which is nicely priced at odds of 5/6.

10th Apr 2021

12:30 - Millwall v Swansea

Millwall Win @ 17/10

Gary Rowett’s Millwall and Steve Cooper’s Swansea City clash at The Den in the EFL Championship on Saturday. Things have gone horribly wrong for the Swans at just the wrong time of the campaign, while the Lions will be hoping to make a late dash for the play-offs. This intriguing Championship matchup could go either way in the English capital but home advantage could turn out to be the decisive factor.

Millwall have reignited their play-off hopes after three wins in a row has moved them up to ninth in the table. Last time out, the Lions secured a precious 2-1 triumph at Stoke City after 1-0 home victories over Middlesbrough and Rotherham United. Swansea have had a miserable month, crashing to consecutive Championship defeats to Bournemouth, Cardiff City, Birmingham City and Preston North End, and they even failed to score along the way. We can see the Welsh side losing once again this weekend as their position in the top six becomes ever more precarious. The Millwall win is priced at odds of 17/10 that looks very good value to us.

10th Apr 2021

15:00 - Liverpool v Aston Villa

Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are looking for their first win at Anfield since beating Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League way back in mid-December. On Saturday afternoon, the Reds entertain Dean Smith’s Aston Villa, who have had a fine season so far. Despite their woeful recent form on their own patch, Liverpool are the odds-on favourites in this one. And after a midweek defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League they would do with a victory to lift their spirits.

When these two met at Villa Park back in October, Aston Villa pulled off the result of the season, thumping the 2019-20 Premier League champions 7-2. Smith’s troops ran riot on their own patch, with Ollie Watkins helping himself to a first-half hat-trick. Nevertheless, Liverpool will be desperate for a win at Anfield, and we fancy them to edge an entertaining affair this Saturday. Put some money on the home win and both teams to score as a very reasonable price of 2/1.

10th Apr 2021

17:30 - Crystal Palace v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win -1 Goal @ 7/5

London sides Crystal Palace and Chelsea do battle at Selhurst Park in Premier League action on Saturday evening. After last weekend’s humiliating home defeat to lowly West Bromwich Albion, the Blues will be eager to hit back with maximum points this Saturday. Thomas Tuchel’s men head to Selhurst as the clear favourites with the bookies but will they bounce back or are the cracks starting to appear at the club?

Palace are in patchy form, though Roy Hodgson’s men have suffered just one defeat in their last six in the Premier League and look just about safe from relegation for another year. Before last weekend’s embarrassing 5-2 home reverse to the Baggies, Tuchel had started his time at Chelsea with 10 wins and four draws from 14 games. We are backing the Blues to bounce back with a big three points in south London on Saturday. Check out the solid odds of 7/5 for Chelsea to win -1.

11th Apr 2021

12:00 - Burnley v Newcastle

Draw @ 2/1

Burnley and Newcastle United lock horns in a vital Premier League fixture at Turf Moor this Sunday. At the time of writing, the Clarets are in 15th place with 33 points to their name, with the Magpies four points below in 17th. Both teams will be desperate for victory in this relegation six-pointer and if the visitors can win, the hosts will be well and truly sucked into the battle at the bottom.

Burnley let a 2-0 lead slip to lose 3-2 at Southampton last time out, which was only their second league defeat in two months. Newcastle fought hard to hold Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-2 draw at St James’ Park last Sunday and may even have been the better side overall. United picked up an impressive 3-1 win against Burnley earlier in the season, but they have won just one of their last seven visits to Turf Moor. This is a tough one to call, so our money is going on the draw at 2/1, a result which will see both edge slowly towards safety.

11th Apr 2021

14:05 - West Ham v Leicester

West Ham United Win & BTTS @ 9/2

Two high flyers go head-to-head in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture on Sunday, as David Moyes’ West Ham United welcome Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City to the London Stadium. The Foxes sit third at present, four points above the Hammers, who occupy the final UEFA Champions League place. Nobody would have predicted that with just eight games to go these two would be above Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal, but can they both stay in the top four? This is a huge fixture in the capital.

West Ham have been the surprise package in the Premier League so far, and Moyes’ men are genuine contenders to reach the UCL next season. The Irons, who thumped the Foxes 3-0 at the King Power Stadium in October, have won six of their last eight league and cup matches at the London Stadium. We fancy West Ham to edge this one on home soil. Take a punt on the United win and both teams to score at 9/2, good value given the potency both teams possess.

11th Apr 2021

16:30 - Tottenham v Manchester United

Manchester United Win @ 29/20

Sunday’s standout fixture in the Premier League is the blockbuster game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium between Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United. The Red Devils will be out for revenge after they were humiliated by Spurs at Old Trafford earlier in the season. United are the slight favourites with the bookies to get the points in London but the home side will be better rested with their opponents having played in Europe on Thursday night.

Tottenham have improved in the Premier League lately, winning four of their last six. As for Man United, Ole’s boys have suffered just two league defeats since that shock 6-1 reverse to Mourinho’s men at the start of the season. The Red Devils have won their last three in the Premier League, and Solskjaer’s side will fancy their chances in this one. The away victory is nicely priced at 29/20.

11th Apr 2021

19:00 - Sheffield United v Arsenal

Arsenal to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

Doomed Sheffield United host Arsenal at Bramall Lane in a Premier League fixture this Sunday night. The Blades are rock bottom of the table with a mere 14 points to their name. The Sheffield club are a whopping 15 points from safety with just eight games to play and it is only a matter of time before their demotion is mathematically confirmed. The Gunners are down in 10th but they are still hunting down a European place, so Mikel Arteta will want all three points from this one.

Sheffield United have had an abysmal season, and the Blades head into this fixture having lost seven of their previous eight in the Premier League. Arsenal have improved in the second half of their campaign, but the London side will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s heavy defeat to Liverpool. This game should be much more enjoyable for their fans though and it should be a walk in the park for Arsenal. We like the look of the away team to win -1 at 6/4.

12th Apr 2021

18:00 - West Brom v Southampton

West Bromwich Albion to Win 1-0 @ 10/1

Sam Allardyce’s West Bromwich Albion and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton square off at The Hawthorns in a huge Premier League fixture on Monday. The Baggies have given themselves a fighting chance after a truly stunning 5-2 win at Stamford Bridge last time out, which was just their fourth league victory of the season. However, Albion are eight points away from safety.

West Brom are showing signs of fight, winning two and drawing one of their last five. Allardyce’s troops have suffered only two defeats in their previous seven matches in the Premier League. Southampton followed up their impressive Emirates FA Cup win over Bournemouth with a vital three points against Burnley last weekend, but we are backing the Baggies here. Two of their four league wins have finished 1-0 and you can get the 1-0 West Brom victory on Monday at the juicy price of 10/1.

12th Apr 2021

20:15 - Brighton v Everton

Everton Win & Over 3.5 Goals @ 11/1

Carlo Ancelotti takes his Everton troops to the Amex Stadium to face Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Monday night. The Seagulls have improved lately, picking up six points from the last nine on offer, though they remain in the battle at the bottom. As for the Toffees, after two defeats and a draw from their previous three, the Merseyside outfit will be gunning for all three points in East Sussex as they seek to keep their European qualification hopes alive.

Before their three-game winless run, Everton had put together a string of three victories, seeing off Liverpool, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion, keeping clean sheets in all three. The Toffees beat Brighton 4-2 in a six-goal thriller at Goodison Park earlier in the season, with James Rodriguez helping himself to a brace. The Colombian notched on his return to action last time out (against Palace) and his presence also made Everton far more dangerous going forward, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin missing a number of chances. We fancy a similar outcome to the reverse fixture here, so check out the solid odds of 11/1 for the away win and over 3.5 goals.

13th Apr 2021

17:30 - Huddersfield v Bournemouth

Bournemouth to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

Huddersfield Town and Bournemouth square off at the John Smith’s Stadium in EFL Championship action this Tuesday night. Carlos Corberan’s men have struggled for wins of late, though they have drawn five of their last seven games. As for Jonathan Woodgate’s Cherries, victory would take them five points clear of Reading in the race for the top six which might well prove highly significant when the totals are totted up at the end of the season.

After a humiliating 7-0 loss to leaders Norwich City last Tuesday, Town responded with a 0-0 home draw with Rotherham United on Saturday. Bournemouth have hit form at just the right time, winning six of their eight games in the Championship after back-to-back losses to Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City in February. We are backing Bournemouth to secure a fifth successive league victory this weekend. Take a punt on the visitors to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 12/5.

13th Apr 2021

18:00 - Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea

Swansea City to Win to Nil @ 3/1

Darren Moore’s Sheffield Wednesday entertain Steve Cooper’s Swansea City in a huge EFL Championship fixture this Tuesday. The Owls are seven points adrift of safety with just six games to go, while the Swans are 10 points behind second place in fourth spot. Both teams will be desperate for the points for completely different reasons, but will we see a winner in the Steel City?

Sheffield Wednesday failed to build on their thumping 5-0 win over Swansea’s rivals Cardiff City in their last home game, as Moore’s boys were comfortably beaten at Queens Park Rangers last Saturday. Swansea stopped a run of four straight defeats with an impressive 3-0 triumph over Millwall at The Den. We fancy the Welsh outfit to win to nil on the road again in midweek, which is available at odds of 3/1.

13th Apr 2021

19:00 - Rotherham v QPR

Queens Park Rangers Win @ 8/5

Rotherham United’s busy week starts with a home fixture with Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night. Paul Warne’s men are in 22nd place in the EFL Championship table at present, though they have at least three games in hand on most of the teams around them. Can United secure a massive three points at the New York Stadium in midweek?

Since a 2-0 win at Bristol City last month, Rotherham have taken just one point from their subsequent three games. Mark Warburton’s QPR have been in fine fettle in 2021, with 11 of their 15 Championship victories coming since the turn of the year. Last time out, Rangers thumped lowly Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Our money is going on the QPR victory here at odds of 8/5.

13th Apr 2021

20:00 - Chelsea v Porto

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Chelsea and Porto lock horns at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville once again this Tuesday night. Thomas Tuchel’s Blues are in control of this UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, but can the Premier League outfit see the job through in Spain in midweek? As expected, Chelsea are the overwhelming favourites with the bookies to reach the last four and we fully expect them to prevail.

Chelsea put in a solid and assured performance in the first leg last week, with Mason Mount’s excellent finish giving them the lead in the first half. With five minutes left on the clock, Ben Chilwell capitalised on a defensive mistake to put the Blues 2-0 up. Chelsea have kept 13 clean sheets under Tuchel, with 10 of those resulting in wins. Back the London outfit to win to nil again on Tuesday at the tempting odds of 15/8 as they progress to the semis.

13th Apr 2021

20:00 - PSG v Bayern Munich

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Giants Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich lock horns in a heavyweight UEFA Champions League matchup at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night. After a thrilling first leg at the Allianz Arena last week, PSG hold a narrow 3-2 lead in this quarter-final tie. Can the holders turn things around in France, or will the Parisians get revenge from last season’s final defeat and go through to the semi-finals?

Kylian Mbappe was PSG’s hero in the first leg in Munich, netting twice to help Mauricio Pochettino’s troops to a memorable 3-2 win. That was only Bayern’s fourth defeat of what has been another dominant season. This will surely be close on the scoreline but we fancy PSG to go through by holding Bayern to a draw in Paris. Put some money on the draw and both teams to score at a fair price of 10/3.

14th Apr 2021

20:00 - Borussia Dortmund v Man City

Manchester City Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City side to the Westfalenstadion in Germany this Wednesday to face Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie. Phil Foden was City’s saviour in the first leg, netting in injury time at the Etihad Stadium to give Pep’s boys a 2-1 win. Can the Premier League leaders see the job through on Wednesday or will the Germans edge through to the semis?

Man City have been in stunning form over the past few months, but Guardiola’s men did suffer a shock league loss to Leeds United last time out. After defeats to Eintracht Frankfurt and Man City, meanwhile, Dortmund claimed a 3-2 win at Stuttgart in the Bundesliga at the weekend. However, we fancy City to come out on top in this one. You can get the solid price of 2/1 for the away team to win and both teams to score.

14th Apr 2021

20:00 - Liverpool v Real Madrid

Real Madrid Win @ 13/5

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have plenty of work to do in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid on Wednesday night. The Spanish giants head to Anfield with a handy 3-1 lead in the tie. After winning on home turf for the first time in 2021 last weekend, can the Reds shock Real and turn this tie around at Anfield? Liverpool are currently priced at odds of 11/4 to go through to the semi-finals.

Liverpool are actually in decent nick and have won four of their last five games in all competitions. However, they were second best at the Alfredo Di Stefano last week, with goals from Vinicius Junior (2) and Marco Asensio giving Zidane’s Galacticos a deserved 3-1 home win. Unfortunately for Liverpool, we fancy Madrid to win on Merseyside too. The away victory is available at odds of 13/5 which represents real value given Liverpool’s hit and miss home form in recent months.

15th Apr 2021

19:00 - Rotherham v Coventry

Rotherham United Win @ 6/4

Rotherham United and Coventry City meet in a huge EFL Championship matchup at the New York Stadium this Thursday. The Millers are in the bottom three, but Paul Warne’s men still have games in hand on their relegation rivals. Can United claw back another three points in this one before Saturday’s home clash with Middlesbrough?

Thursday’s fixture is the second of four successive home matches for the Millers. They have struggled on their own patch all season, but they must start putting things right at the New York Stadium if they are to remain a Championship club. The Sky Blues have had a tough time on their Championship return, and Mark Robins’ City have the worst away record in the division, winning just two of 20. With that in mind, back the Rotherham win at solid looking odds of 6/4.

15th Apr 2021

20:00 - Manchester United v Granada

Manchester United to Win to Nil @ 11/8

Manchester United welcome Granada to Old Trafford this Thursday night for the 2nd leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie. The in-form Red Devils have one foot in the final four after a comfortable 2-0 win at Nuevo Los Carmenes a week ago. Will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s troops get the job done in style on home turf on Thursday? They are looking good to seal second place in the Premier League and if they could add this trophy as well (they are currently firm favourites) it would have to be classed as an excellent season for them.

Man United were 2-0 winners in Granada in the 1st leg, with a Marcus Rashford goal and a Bruno Fernandes penalty doing the trick in that one. Ole’s boys are in fantastic form at present, winning five of their last six in all competitions. The Premier League outfit should cruise into the semi-finals with another easy win over Granada. They can afford to sit back and play their preferred counter-attacking game here so take a punt on United to win to nil again at 11/8.

15th Apr 2021

20:00 - Slavia Prague v Arsenal

1-1 Draw @ 6/1

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have work to do in their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie with Slavia Prague. The Gunners conceded at the death to draw 1-1 with the Czech side at the Emirates Stadium a week back. However, the Premier League team are still the favourites to win on the night and progress through to the last four of this season’s Europa League.

Nicolas Pepe thought he had won it for Arsenal when he opened the scoring in the 86th minute at the Emirates. Unfortunately for the Londoners, Tomas Holes levelled for Slavia in the fourth minute of added time. There was nothing to split the pair in the English capital, and this tie could go the distance in Prague this Thursday. The Gunners are a long way away from being a top side and they have weaknesses that the hosts can exploit. This is a tough one to call so back a repeat 1-1 draw in the 90 at the tempting odds of 6/1.

16th Apr 2021

20:00 - Everton v Tottenham Hotspur

Draw @ 12/5

The weekend football starts early as Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur square off at Goodison Park in a huge Premier League fixture on Friday night. With both clubs chasing down a UEFA Champions League spot, we should be in for an entertaining game. The Toffees currently sit eighth on 48 points, with Spurs a point and a place above but having played a game more. This is a must-win clash for both teams and if either lose they will have to settle for a place in the Europa League – at best.

Since sealing successive Premier League wins over Liverpool, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion, Everton have gone on to lose three and draw two of their following five league and cup matches. They have a lot of injuries but will hope to have key striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin back for this one. Tottenham have also struggled in recent weeks, winning only one of their previous five in all competitions. The pair are close in the table and look evenly matched on paper, so we fancy the rivals to cancel each other out at Goodison. Take a punt on the draw at the solid price of 12/5.

16th Apr 2021

18:00 - Reading v Cardiff City

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Reading entertain Cardiff City at the Madejski Stadium this Friday night in EFL Championship action. After Bournemouth’s win in midweek, the Royals have slipped five points behind the play-off places, while the Bluebirds are now 12 points adrift with five games to play. This is a huge fixture for Veljko Paunovic and his side.

Reading have picked up just one win from their last six in the Championship, losing at Watford last time out. As for Cardiff, they have improved drastically since Mick McCarthy took over, though the Bluebirds have won just one of their past seven games to drop out of the promotion race. A draw will not be good enough for Reading, but we can see the Welsh side frustrating the hosts at the Madejski. Back the draw and both teams to score, which is available at the decent odds of 7/2.

17th Apr 2021

17:30 - Chelsea v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -1 @ 2/1

Chelsea and Manchester City meet in the first Emirates FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening. City have enjoyed plenty of cup success since Pep Guardiola took over, and the runaway Premier League leaders are the clear favourites to book their spot in yet another FA Cup final. But can Chelsea find a way to get past the favourites and make it to the final?

Man City have been dominant on all fronts this term. In the FA Cup, the Manchester giants have eased past Birmingham City, Cheltenham Town, Swansea City and Everton to reach the final four. As for Chelsea, they have seen off Morecambe, Luton Town, Barnsley and Sheffield United, but their journey could come to an end on Saturday. The Citizens won 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in Premier League action at the start of the year and we could see a repeat of that scoreline, or something similar, in this one. We like the look of City to win with a -1 goal handicap this weekend at odds of 2/1.

17th Apr 2021

12:30 - Newcastle United v West Ham United

West Ham United Win & BTTS @ 10/3

David Moyes’ West Ham United have without doubt been the surprise package of the season so far. With just seven games to play, the Hammers are in the top four of the Premier League. This Saturday, Moyes takes the in-form Irons to St James’ Park to face Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United. Can West Ham return to London with another three points in the bag or will the relegation-threatened Magpies steal the points?

Moyes’ troops are in superb form, taking seven points from their last three games after a narrow loss at Old Trafford. Overall, the Londoners have accumulated an impressive 55 points from their 31 games thus far. Newcastle moved six points away from trouble after a win over Burnley last weekend but they are not out of the woods yet and they will be desperate for another victory to ease the pressure. Having said that, Newcastle’s desperation might well play into the hands of the visitors and we are backing the Hammers to prevail in this one. West Ham’s last two wins have ended 3-2, and you can get 10/3 for the away victory and both teams to score here.

17th Apr 2021

20:15 - Wolves v Sheffield United

Wolverhampton Wanderers HT/FT @ 7/4

Doomed Sheffield United make the trip to Molineux to face struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday night. The Blades have had a season to forget in the Premier League and have picked up just 14 points from their 31 matches to date. As for Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves, they are currently in 12th position in the table with 38 points to their name, which is sure to leave them clear of relegation but could be seen as an underperformance given the standards they’ve set in recent seasons (they finished seventh in each of the past two seasons).

After going five games without a win (two draws and three defeats), Wanderers hit back with an important 1-0 victory over Fulham last time out. Adama Traore netted at the death to steal all three points at Craven Cottage. Wolves have won just two home league games in 2021, but they should ease past the Premier League’s bottom club this weekend. Put a few quid on the home team to be winning at half time and full time at a decent price of 7/4.

17th Apr 2021

20:00 - Norwich City v Bournemouth

Norwich City to Win to Nil @ 9/4

Norwich City will secure promotion to the Premier League if they muster a victory over Bournemouth on Saturday night. The Canaries have had an astonishing season in the EFL Championship, racking up 90 points from 41 league games. With five games to play, Norwich look a good bet to finish on 100+ points. The Cherries are in good form, but City are the clear favourites in this one.

Since a 2-0 defeat to Swansea City back on 5th February, Norwich have dropped just four points from a possible 39, winning 11 and drawing two of their last 13. After a 7-0 win over Huddersfield Town, Norwich won 1-0 at Derby County last time out. Bournemouth are five points clear of seventh after five straight wins, but we can only see one winner here. Back Norwich to win to nil again at odds of 9/4.

18th Apr 2021

12:00 - Rotherham United v Birmingham City

Birmingham City Win @ 13/8

Rotherham United’s busy week continues when they welcome Birmingham City to the New York Stadium on Sunday in a huge EFL Championship clash. The Millers were in action on Tuesday and Thursday this week, while the Blues’ previous game was last Saturday. Can Lee Bowyer’s boys extend their unbeaten run to four against opponents who will surely be a little jaded here?

Paul Warne’s Millers have had a mixed bag of results of late, losing five straight home matches before Tuesday night’s massive 3-1 home success over Queens Park Rangers. Bowyer has really improved Birmingham, as City have won three, drawn one and lost one of five under their new manager. Last time out, the Blues beat Stoke City 2-0 at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium. We fancy Birmingham to win at the New York Stadium this Sunday, an outcome which is available at 13/8.

18th Apr 2021

13:30 - Arsenal v Fulham

Arsenal to Win 3-0 @ 14/1

Arsenal and Fulham go head-to-head in an all-London Premier League affair at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday. The Gunners are still hunting down a European place, while the Cottagers are running out of time to save their Premier League status. On the opening weekend of the season back in September, Arsenal eased to a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage and we fancy the same result again here.

Mikel Arteta’s men are in decent nick in the Premier League, losing only one of their last six. Last weekend, the Gunners cruised past bottom club Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, with Alexander Lacazette (2) and Gabriel Martinelli netting in a 3-0 win. Fulham were showing signs of life, but Scott Parker’s boys head to the Emirates having lost four in a row and there is a very real chance heads might begin to drop, especially if they concede an early goal. You can get the 3-0 Arsenal win on Sunday at the top odds of 14/1.

19th Apr 2021

20:00 - Leeds United v Liverpool

Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 2/1

Jurgen Klopp takes his wounded Liverpool to Elland Road on Monday to face Marcelo Bielsa’s in-form Leeds United in the Premier League. Having been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, the Reds can now turn their attention to breaking in to the top four, the only prize they have left to compete for in what has been a dreadful title defence. At the time of writing, Liverpool are three points behind West Ham United, who occupy fourth and two points behind Chelsea.

Leeds stunned Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last time out, winning 2-1 despite having Liam Cooper sent off midway through the game. The stunning victory in Manchester was United’s third league success on the bounce. Liverpool have shown a vast improvement in the Premier League in recent weeks, also winning three on the spin, so both teams should fancy their chances. This promises to be a cracker in Yorkshire, but we fancy Liverpool to edge it. Take a punt on the away win and both teams to score at 2/1.

18th Apr 2021

15:00 - Coventry City v Barnsley

Draw @ 23/10

Mark Robins’ Coventry City entertain Valerien Ismael’s Barnsley at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium in EFL Championship action this Sunday afternoon. Coventry have been a tough nut to crack in their temporary home this season, but in-form Barnsley head to Birmingham as the favourites with the bookies. This is a huge game at both ends of the Championship table with the visitors looking to cement their place inside the top six.

The Sky Blues have certainly had their problems away from home this season, but they have been pretty solid at St Andrew’s. Overall, they have suffered just five defeats from 20 home league fixtures. The Tykes have had a stunning season since Ismael arrived, and the Yorkshire side will fancy their chances of finishing in the play-off places. However, we fancy this one to end all square in the Midlands. Take a punt on the draw at 23/10.

18th Apr 2021

16:00 - Manchester United v Burnley

Manchester United to Win to Nil @ 11/10

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in-form Manchester United entertain Sean Dyche’s Burnley at Old Trafford in the Premier League this Sunday. United are flying right now, winning each of their last four in the league to take control of second spot. As for the Clarets, they have let leads slip to lose to Southampton and Newcastle United in their last two and despite Fulham’s poor form, they are not yet safe.

Man United have moved seven points clear of Leicester City in the table after a string of good results. Last weekend, the Red Devils came from a goal down to win 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and that showed real character. Ole’s boys won 1-0 at Turf Moor in the reverse fixture back in January, and the Manchester giants should do the league double this weekend. Burnley have struggled for goals all season and with United boasting one of the best defensive records in the top flight, it is hard to see them scoring here. Back Man United to win to nil again at odds of 11/10.

18th Apr 2021

18:30 - Leicester City v Southampton

Leicester City to Win -1 @ 12/5

On Sunday evening, Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton square off in the second Emirates FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium. After back-to-back Premier League defeats to Manchester City and West Ham United, Leicester will be desperate to get back to winning ways by booking their place in this season’s FA Cup final. If they can secure a top four finish and a piece of silverware it will have been a superb campaign for the Foxes but they will know from last season that they have to keep battling right until the end.

When these two sides clashed at the King Power Stadium in league action back in January, the Foxes cruised to a 2-0 win thanks to goals from James Maddison and Harvey Barnes. Since then, four of the Saints’ six wins have come in the FA Cup. Southampton have been in woeful form since the turn of the year, and we fancy Leicester to seal a comfortable cup victory on Sunday. Back City to win -1 at the very tidy price of 12/5.

20th Apr 2021

18:00 - Brentford v Cardiff

Draw & BTTS @ 9/2

Brentford handed promotion to Norwich City after a 0-0 draw with Millwall last weekend, which was the Bees’ fifth stalemate in six matches, form that was never likely to give them a realistic chance of claiming an automatic promotion spot. On Tuesday, Thomas Frank’s men welcome Mick McCarthy’s Cardiff City to the Brentford Community Stadium. The Londoners will be desperate to get back to winning ways as they hunt down Watford in the race for second place but have they already blown their chances?

Having picked up just two wins from eight, the play-offs seem a more likely destination for Brentford now. Cardiff have gone off the boil in recent weeks too but the Welsh side have been tough to beat since McCarthy took over in January, since when they have lost just three times. We fancy the Bluebirds, who have drawn their last two games, to hold the hosts to a draw on Tuesday. There is good value in the draw and both teams to score at odds of 9/2 and that’s the bet for us here.

20th Apr 2021

18:00 - Norwich v Watford

Watford to Win by One Goal @ 15/4

Despite falling to a 3-1 home defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday night, Norwich City celebrated promotion to the Premier League after Brentford could only manage a draw with Millwall. Watford are looking to join the Canaries in next season’s Premier League and Xisco Munoz’s men are currently six points ahead of third spot. Both teams will be hoping to bounce back from weekend defeats but which side will prevail in what should be a cracking match for the neutrals?

Daniel Farke’s Norwich have been the real deal in the Championship this season, winning a staggering 27 of their 42 league games so far. Watford have not been too far behind, and last weekend’s loss to Luton Town was their first reverse since a 1-0 defeat Bournemouth in February. The Hornets edged the reverse meeting at Vicarage Road and you can get a fair price of 15/4 for the away team to win by one goal again.

20th Apr 2021

19:00 - Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers Win & BTTS @ 9/2

Darren Moore’s Sheffield Wednesday host Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers in a huge EFL Championship fixture at Hillsborough this Tuesday. At the time of writing, the Owls are seven points adrift of safety with just four matches to go. Also, Rotherham United, who are directly above them, have two games in hand. Things are looking bleak for Wednesday and they could well be playing in the third tier next season.

Sheffield Wednesday have failed to kick on from their stunning 5-0 win over Cardiff City on Easter Monday and have taken just one point from their following three fixtures. Blackburn have won only two league games since January, with one of those coming on Friday when they beat Derby County 2-1 at Ewood Park. Our money is going on the Blackburn win here and the away victory and both teams to score is nicely priced at odds of 9/2.

20th Apr 2021

20:00 - Chelsea v Brighton

Chelsea HT/FT @ 6/4

Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea entertain Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion in Premier League action at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night with the sides facing challenges at either end of the table. The Blues will still be buzzing after booking their spot in the Emirates FA Cup final but they still have work to do in the race for the top four and Champions League qualification. As for the Seagulls, they are six points clear of the drop zone but are certainly not completely safe from the drop as things stand.

Chelsea have been incredibly hard to beat since Tuchel arrived in January. In fact, they have suffered just one Premier League defeat since Frank Lampard’s Chelsea lost 2-0 at Leicester City back on 19th January. Brighton will be a little jittery about the prospect of slipping closer to the drop zone and we fancy Chelsea to build on the positivity of their FA Cup semi final victory to secure a routine win on home soil this Tuesday. Put some money on the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 6/4.

21st Apr 2021

18:00 - Tottenham v Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 15/8

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Southampton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Premier League action this Wednesday. Jose Mourinho will not be in the Spurs dugout after being sacked on Monday with some reports suggesting it was after he opposed his club’s decision to sign up to the new European Super League. With the 2021 Carabao Cup final to come at the weekend, the home team will want to warm up for that one with three points in the Premier League. As expected, Tottenham are the clear favourites, despite Mourinho’s departure, but can the club keep their focus with so much going on away from the pitch.

Spurs have been in patchy form of late, winning only one of their previous six matches in all competitions. In the Premier League, the London side have taken just two points from the last nine on offer. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton have been dreadful in the league since the turn of the year, losing 11 of their last 14. Even with Mourinho gone, Tottenham should be too strong for the Saints on home turf this Wednesday. Take a punt on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 15/8.

21st Apr 2021

18:00 - Rotherham v Middlesbrough

Rotherham United Win @ 7/4

Paul Warne’s Rotherham United entertain Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough at the New York Stadium on Wednesday. The Millers are running out of time to save their EFL Championship status, though they still have games in hand on the teams around them. Warnock’s Boro will already be gearing up for next season in the Championship. Can the hosts secure a vital victory in midweek as they attempt to claw their way to survival?

This will be the last of four successive home games for Rotherham. So far, United have taken just three points from the previous three matches, losing to Coventry City and Birmingham City in the last two. Middlesbrough are in poor form, having picked up just one point from a possible 15. We fancy Rotherham to give themselves a survival lifeline by claiming three invaluable points on Wednesday. The home win is nicely priced at odds of 7/4 which looks fair value under the circumstances.

21st Apr 2021

19:45 - Birmingham v Nottingham Forest

Draw @ 9/4

On Wednesday night at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium, Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham City and Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest go head-to-head. Bowyer has done a terrific job in the West Midlands since taking over, while Forest have improved since Hughton’s arrival at the City Ground. This intriguing Championship clash could go either way at St Andrew’s.

Bowyer has guided Birmingham to wins over Reading, Swansea City, Stoke City and Rotherham United since arriving just over a month ago. The Blues have taken 10 points from the last 12 available. The Reds were unbeaten in four before last Saturday’s shock home defeat to Huddersfield Town. The reverse fixture at the City Ground on Boxing Day ended goalless, and we can see the pair playing out another draw on Wednesday night, which is available at the decent price of 9/4.

21st Apr 2021

20:15 - Aston Villa v Man City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 5/4

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City side to Villa Park this Wednesday to face Dean Smith’s Aston Villa in the Premier League. City’s quadruple hopes may be over but the treble is still well and truly on. Man City are clear at the top of the table, they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, and Pep’s boys are through to the last four of the UEFA Champions League.

Having been beaten by Chelsea in an Emirates FA Cup semi-final last time out as well as losing to Leeds United in their previous Premier League fixture, Man City will be eager to return to winning ways in midweek. There is no disputing the fact that Villa have had a fine season but we can see the Citizens hitting back with an easy away victory on Wednesday. City have won without conceding a goal on 26 occasions across all competitions this term and we’ll be backing the visitors to win to nil here at odds of 5/4.

22nd Apr 2021

20:00 - Leicester v West Brom

Leicester City to Win -2 Goals @ 4/1

On Thursday, West Bromwich Albion make the short trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City in the Premier League. Fresh from their Emirates FA Cup semi-final success, the Foxes will be looking for all three points as they hope to nail down a UEFA Champions League spot. As for the Baggies, they are nine points adrift of safety in 19th position in the table and are in serious trouble despite a recent upturn in fortunes.

Sam Allardyce’s Albion have won their last two, seeing off Chelsea and Southampton with ease, but they have left themselves with too much work to do in terms of Premier League survival. After back-to-back Premier League defeats to Manchester City and West Ham United, Brendan Rodgers’ troops will be hoping to get back to winning ways in midweek. City eased to a 3-0 win at The Hawthorns on the opening weekend, and we like the look of Leicester to win with a -2 goal handicap again at decent odds of 4/1.

23rd Apr 2021

20:00 - Arsenal v Everton

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium in Premier League action on Friday night. These two seem pretty well matched these days, with the Toffees three points and one place above the Gunners in the current Premier League standings. Both sides still have eyes for a European spot but both still have work to do on that front.

Arsenal are unbeaten in four games in all competitions, though they left it late to rescue a point against lowly Fulham last time out. Everton are without a win in six league and cup matches, losing three before three successive Premier League draws. There is not a lot to split these two clubs right now and we can see the pair cancelling each other out at the Emirates on Friday night. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 4/1.

24th Apr 2021

12:30 - Liverpool v Newcastle

Liverpool to Win -1 Goal @ 8/11

Saturday’s action in the Premier League gets underway at Anfield in the afternoon when Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool host Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United. The Reds are still very much in the mix to claim a UEFA Champions League place but only three points will do this weekend. The Magpies have boosted their survival chances with seven points from their last three and they are now in 15th place in the table.

Liverpool have improved of late, winning three and drawing one of their past four games in the league. The Merseysiders secured their first home league victory of 2021 in their last game at Anfield, coming from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1. United are pretty much safe for another season after back-to-back wins over Burnley and West Ham United, but we fancy Liverpool to ease to victory on Saturday. Have a punt on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 8/11.

24th Apr 2021

12:30 - Bournemouth v Brentford

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Bournemouth and Brentford meet in a mouth-watering EFL Championship fixture at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon. After the midweek results, Thomas Frank’s Bees might have to settle for a place in the play-offs, where they could end up facing Jonathan Woodgate’s Cherries. This intriguing Championship clash could go either way but both sides will want to put down a marker ahead of the play-offs.

Bournemouth have been in sensational form of late, hitting their stride at just the right time. Since a 3-2 loss to Barnsley in mid-March, the Cherries have won three home games in a row in the Championship. Brentford, who have drawn six of their last seven games, slipped 10 points behind second place after the midweek results. These two look hard to split on paper right now and we are backing Brentford to draw again this weekend. The draw and both teams to score is nicely priced at odds of 10/3.

24th Apr 2021

17:30 - West Ham v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

David Moyes’ West Ham United and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea go head-to-head in a huge Premier League fixture at the London Stadium on Saturday evening. Things are starting to hot up in the race for the UEFA Champions League spots, with the Hammers and Blues each on 55 points. Both clubs will be gunning for maximum points from this one and it could prove a tough one to call.

After a 0-0 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in midweek, Chelsea leapfrogged West Ham and moved back into the top four. At the time of writing, Tuchel’s troops are in fourth spot in the table, ahead of Moyes’ boys on goal difference. The Irons have enjoyed an excellent season so far, but we can see Chelsea edging this massive fixture at the London Stadium. Check out the solid odds of 13/5 for the away team to win by one goal.

24th Apr 2021

20:00 - Sheffield United v Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion HT/FT @ 7/4

Relegated Sheffield United entertain Brighton and Hove Albion at Bramall Lane on Saturday night. After picking up an excellent point at Stamford Bridge in midweek, Graham Potter’s Seagulls will be looking for all three points in the Steel City at the weekend. Brighton are the big favourites with the bookies but could the home side give Brighton a relegation headache of their own?

Sheffield United’s dismal season could not end soon enough for the Blades fans. It has been a struggle from start to finish, as United have mustered up just four Premier League wins from 32 games, collecting a mere 14 points along the way. Barring any disasters, Brighton will stay up, but Potter and his troops will want to make sure of that sooner rather than later. Albion should secure a comfortable win at Bramall Lane, so back the away team to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 7/4.

25th Apr 2021

12:00 - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Burnley

Wolverhampton Wanderers Win @ Evens

Sunday’s early game in the Premier League sees Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sean Dyche’s Burnley lock horns at Molineux. The Clarets still have work to do in their fight for survival, while Wolves have lifted themselves up to 12th after a couple of wins. This is a huge fixture for Dyche’s men but their struggles may go on for a while longer yet.

Wanderers have been far from their best this season, but Nuno’s boys sit in a respectable 12th position after back-to-back wins. The Midlands outfit beat Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage before seeing off Sheffield United by the same scoreline at Molineux last time out. Burnley have been playing some decent stuff of late, but they head to the Midlands having lost successive games against Southampton, Newcastle United and Manchester United. The Wolves win on Sunday is nicely priced at evens.

25th Apr 2021

12:00 - Reading v Swansea City

Draw @ 11/5

Reading and Swansea City meet in the EFL Championship this Sunday. The Royals could miss out on the play-offs after slipping six points behind sixth with just nine to play for. As for the Swans, they will have to settle for a play-off spot after watching Watford speed off with second place. Both teams will be looking for maximum points at the Madejski Stadium but who will prevail?

One win in eight looks to have put paid to Reading’s play-off hopes. Veljko Paunovic’s troops have spent pretty much all season in the top six and have dropped out at just the wrong time. Swansea have also had a rough patch lately, losing five of their past eight. Nonetheless, the Swans will reach the play-offs for a second season running so their minds might already be turning to the battles ahead. We can see these two playing out a draw (11/5) in Berkshire on Sunday.

25th Apr 2021

13:00 - Bristol City v Luton Town

Luton Town Win @ 6/4

Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City and Nathan Jones’ Luton Town square off at Ashton Gate in EFL Championship action this Sunday. The Robins will be glad to see the back of what has been a miserable season, while the Hatters will be looking for a good finish to an exceptional campaign in the Championship. Luton are the slight favourites here.

Bristol City crashed to a 22nd league defeat in midweek, losing at bottom club Wycombe Wanderers. In 2021, the Robins have lost 13 of their 21 Championship fixtures. Luton head to Bristol having won two and drawn one of their last three. Jones’ boys have been very competitive of late, winning six of their previous 11. We are backing Town to secure maximum points at Ashton Gate this Sunday, with the away win available at the nice price of 6/4.

25th Apr 2021

14:00 - Leeds United v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win -2 @ 5/1

Old rivals Leeds United and Manchester United do battle at Elland Road in the Premier League this Sunday. Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have enjoyed a fine season up until now, giving plenty of the big boys problems along the way and thrilling neutrals with their attacking style and never say die approach. As for the Red Devils, they are in stunning form in the Premier League, losing just one league fixture since November whilst also progressing to the semis of the Europa league.

In their last two, Leeds have won at Manchester City and drawn with Liverpool, registering late goals in both games. Bielsa’s troops are unbeaten in five, winning three and drawing two. Man United are in tremendous form though, winning five league games on the spin since a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace in early March. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys romped to a 6-2 win when the pair met at Old Trafford earlier in the campaign, and we like the look of Man United to win -2 this Sunday at the very big price of 5/1.

25th Apr 2021

16:30 - Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester City HT/FT @ 13/10

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur contest this season’s Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon. After FA Cup defeat to Chelsea, the quadruple is no more but Pep Guardiola’s City are flying at the top of the Premier League and are through to the last four of the UEFA Champions League, so a famous treble is still very much on for the Citizens. The Manchester giants are the clear favourites in this one but Spurs have players who can hurt anyone in a one-off contest.

In midweek, Man City moved a step closer to claiming the Premier League title, coming from a goal down after 20 seconds to earn a 2-1 win at Aston Villa. Tottenham also came from behind to win 2-1, edging past Southampton at home. After the shock sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier in the week, Ryan Mason will take charge of Spurs in this final. Unfortunately for Mason and Tottenham, we fancy City to be too strong. You can get 13/10 for Pep’s troops to be winning at half time and full time and with their class and experience, that looks more than fair.

25th Apr 2021

19:00 - Aston Villa v West Bromwich Albion

Aston Villa Win & BTTS @ 3/1

West Bromwich Albion are involved in their second all-Midlands Premier League affair in a week, as Sam Allardyce takes his Baggies to Villa Park this Sunday to play Dean Smith’s Aston Villa. The Villans scored after just 20 seconds in their eventual 2-1 defeat to champions elect Manchester City last time out, and they will be looking for another fast start here.

Aston Villa have enjoyed a solid season in the Premier League. After surviving by the skin of their teeth last term, many had Villa down to be relegation candidates again. However, Smith’s boys have spent most of their season in the top half. After back-to-back losses to Liverpool and Man City, Aston Villa will be eager to return to winning ways here. The Baggies are fighting hard right now but they might just be outclassed here. Check out the solid odds of 3/1 for the home win and both teams to score.

26th Apr 2021

20:00 - Leicester City v Crystal Palace

Leicester City Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Leicester City welcome Crystal Palace to the King Power Stadium for a Premier League fixture on Monday night. Having booked their place in this season’s Emirates FA Cup final, the Foxes will now want to nail down a UEFA Champions League spot in the Premier League. As for Palace, they will be looking for a strong finish to what has been another solid campaign in the top flight.

Brendan Rodgers’ boys have blown hot and cold of late, but City will be targeting all three points from this home match. The Eagles held the Foxes to a 1-1 draw when the duo locked horns at Selhurst Park back in December, and Roy Hodgson’s side could cause Leicester problems again. However, our money is going on the home victory here. Take a punt on the hosts to win and both teams to score at 11/4.

27th Apr 2021

19:00 - Brentford v Rotherham

Brentford to Win -1 Goal @ 11/8

In the EFL Championship on Tuesday night, Brentford welcome Rotherham United to the Brentford Community Stadium. This is a massive game for Paul Warne’s Millers, who find themselves four points adrift of safety with two games in hand. Brentford will miss out on automatic promotion, but Thomas Frank’s boys will be in the play-offs once again.

Brentford are currently in third spot, having collected an impressive total of 78 points from their 43 league fixtures so far. However, after Watford’s win over Millwall last weekend, the Bees will have to settle for a place in the play-offs again. Rotherham are fighting for their lives but Warne’s troops head to west London having lost four Championship games on the bounce. Unfortunately for United, Brentford should cruise to victory in this one, so back the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at fair odds of 11/8.

27th Apr 2021

20:00 - Real Madrid v Chelsea

Real Madrid to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea lock horns in a mouth-watering UEFA Champions League semi-final, with the first leg taking place at the Alfredo Di Stefano on Tuesday night. The home side are the bookies’ favourites, but the Blues have been incredibly tough to break down since Tuchel took over in London and have a decent chance of causing something of an upset in this on.

Real Madrid beat Premier League side Liverpool in the previous round, largely getting the job done in the first leg with a comfortable 3-1 win before easing to a 0-0 draw at Anfield. Chelsea, meanwhile, beat Porto in the quarters, before which they got the better of Real’s rivals Atletico Madrid, winning both legs. This tie could go either way but Madrid have been strong in their temporary home of late. We fancy Zidane’s men to edge a close encounter in the Spanish capital – back the home team to win by one goal at odds of 3/1.

28th Apr 2021

20:00 - PSG v Manchester City

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City go head-to-head in a huge UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg clash on Wednesday night. The first fixture of this mouth-watering two-legged tie will take place at the Parc des Princes and it promises to be quite a contest for fans and neutrals alike. Pep Guardiola’s men, who won yet another Carabao Cup last weekend, head to Paris as the bookies’ favourites.

PSG have been in patchy form of late but Mauricio Pochettino’s side head into this semi having won three on the bounce, scoring 11 goals to boot. In the last round of the Champions League, the Parisians beat holders Bayern Munich and given the quality of the players at their disposal they should clearly not be taken lightly. Man City got the better Borussia Dortmund in their quarter-final, winning 2-1 both home and away to reach the last four. Pep’s boys will fancy their chances of getting the victory in Paris, but we can see the two giants playing out an entertaining draw. You can get the draw and both teams to score at odds of 4/1.

29th Apr 2021

20:00 - Manchester United v Roma

Manchester United to Win Both Halves @ 3/1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United welcome Paulo Fonseca’s Roma to Old Trafford on Thursday for the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final. The in-form Red Devils will be hoping to take a handy lead to Rome, but can the Serie A giants pick up a positive result in Manchester? This fascinating tie promises to be a cracker and one that could feasibly go either way on the night.

Man United have lost just two games in all competitions since the turn of the year. After losing to Leicester City in the Emirates FA Cup last month, Ole’s boys went on to win five and draw one of their next six games. Roma are winless in four having drawn two and lost two. Last time out, the Yellow and Reds lost 3-2 to Cagliari in league action and there is every chance they will find things too hot to handle at Old Trafford. We fancy United to secure a comfortable win on home turf, so check out the generous price of 3/1 for the hosts to win both halves and put themselves in a great position ahead of the second leg.

29th Apr 2021

20:00 - Villarreal v Arsenal

Arsenal Win @ 19/10

Arsenal go up against their former boss Unai Emery and his Villarreal side in their UEFA Europa League semi-final, with the first leg being played at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Thursday night. The Gunners have had another poor season in the Premier League but have looked incredibly strong in Europe. Can Mikel Arteta’s men get the better of the Spaniards over two legs and book their spot in this season’s Europa League final?

After six straight wins, Villarreal’s form has dipped in recent weeks as they have gone on to lose three of their last five matches. Arsenal warmed up for this one with a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Everton last Friday. However, the London side have won nine of their 12 Europa League fixtures this term and have looked a completely different side at times on Thursday evenings. We like the look of the Arsenal to continue their fine European form and we’ll be backing them to win on Thursday at decent odds of 19/10.

30th Apr 2021

20:00 - Southampton v Leicester

Leicester City to Win -1 Goal @ 13/5

Southampton and Leicester City meet in Premier League action at St Mary’s on Friday night. The Foxes will move another step closer to securing UEFA Champions League football with a win, while the Saints still have work to do in the battle for survival, although ultimately they should be safe. In the corresponding fixture last season, Leicester left St Mary’s with a famous 9-0 win but it would take a brave punter to opt for something similar here.

That said, Southampton’s Premier League form has been atrocious since the turn of the year, and they have won just three league fixtures in 2021. In contrast, Leicester have won six of their last eight in all competitions, booking their spot in this season’s Emirates FA Cup final a fortnight ago. We fancy Brendan Rodgers’ boys to cruise to a fourth straight victory on Friday night and keep the pressure on Man United above them. Have a punt on the visitors to win -1, which is generously priced at 13/5.

1st May 2021

12:30 - Crystal Palace v Manchester City

Manchester City HT/FT @ 20/21

Manchester City could make sure of the Premier League title if results go their way this weekend which would leave them 100% free to concentrate on the Champions League. On Saturday afternoon, Pep Guardiola takes his City superstars to Selhurst Park to play Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. The Citizens cruised to victory in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium, and the leaders are the massive favourites in this one. With the title within touching distance there is unlikely to be any complacency and we have to predict an easy victory for the visitors.

Man City warmed up for Saturday’s Premier League game by coming from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Parc des Princes on Wednesday in the 1st leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final. In the league, City returned to winning ways at Aston Villa last week after a shock home loss to Leeds United. Pep’s troops should be too strong for the Eagles, so check out the solid odds of 20/21 for the away team to be winning at half time and full time.

1st May 2021

12:30 - Sheffield Weds v Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest Win @ 13/5

Darren Moore’s Sheffield Wednesday host Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough in Saturday’s early kick off in the EFL Championship. This is a massive game for the Owls, who find themselves four points from safety with just two games to go. If they lose on Saturday, Wednesday will be an EFL League One club next season. For a club of their size they have spent too long in the third tier over the past 20 years already so relegation again would be a disaster.

Sheffield Wednesday failed to kick on from a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in their last home game, losing 3-1 at Middlesbrough last time out. The reverse at the Riverside has left Moore’s men on the brink of relegation but they will hope a miracle is yet possible. Forest are a tough nut to crack under Hughton though, and the Reds will be looking for all three points in the Steel City after no wins in four. The Nottingham Forest victory on Saturday is available at 13/5 and that looks a generous price to us.

1st May 2021

15:00 - Brighton v Leeds

Leeds United Win @ 9/4

Last term’s EFL Championship winners Leeds United have had a fine first season back in the Premier League, sitting in ninth with five games to play. The Whites will want to stretch their unbeaten run to seven when they make the trip to the Amex Stadium this Saturday to play Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls hover seven points above the drop zone in 17th and whilst they should be safe, their manager will not relax until survival is mathematically guaranteed.

Brighton could do with a win having drawn two and lost two of four since back-to-back victories over Southampton and Newcastle United. They continue to play well and create chances but their forwards have been misfiring all season. Leeds have had a memorable few weeks, beating Manchester City and drawing with Chelsea, Liverpool and great rivals Manchester United. The West Yorkshire have come through a really tough spell of fixtures and are unbeaten in six, and we fancy them to leave the Amex with maximum points. You can get the away win at the very nice price of 9/4.

1st May 2021

15:00 - Swansea v Derby

Swansea City Win @ 13/10

Swansea City and Derby County go head-to-head at the Liberty Stadium in the EFL Championship this Saturday. The Swans made sure of a play-off berth after drawing 2-2 with Reading last time out and other than maintaining momentum and form have nothing to play for. As for the Rams, they still have work to do in the battle for EFL Championship survival. This is a huge game for Wayne Rooney and his troops and they could be in real trouble if they lose here.

Steve Cooper has done stunning job at Swansea since taking over, guiding the Welsh club to the play-offs two seasons in a row. City could still finish as high as third in the Championship table but really promotion is all that matters. Derby are four points ahead of Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United, with the Millers having a game in hand. Unfortunately for Rooney’s Rams, we can see them crashing to a sixth successive defeat. Back the Swansea win at 13/10.

1st May 2021

15:00 - Norwich v Reading

Norwich City to Win -1 Goal @ 8/5

Norwich City are just one victory away from winning the 2020-21 EFL Championship title. On Saturday afternoon, Daniel Farke’s boys will be looking to get the job done when they welcome Veljko Paunovic’s Reading to Carrow Road. The Royals have missed out on the play-offs, but against the odds and pundits’ predictions, Paunovic has had a fine first season at the Madejski Stadium.

After back-to-back defeats to Bournemouth and Watford, Norwich returned to winning ways in style last weekend. Goals from Xavi Quintilla, Max Aarons and the brilliant Emiliano Buendia gave City a 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Norwich have lost their last two at home, but they were unbeaten at Carrow Road since October prior to those defeats. We like the look of the hosts to win -1 on Saturday at 8/5.

1st May 2021

15:00 - Brentford v Watford

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Thomas Frank’s Brentford and Xisco Munoz’s Watford meet in a mouth-watering EFL Championship fixture at the Brentford Community Stadium this Saturday. The Hornets are already in next season’s Premier League after securing promotion last weekend, but will the Bees join them? This promises to be an entertaining Championship encounter in the capital.

Brentford have drawn far too many games of late, although the Londoners have been beaten just once since February. Since a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City, which pretty much put paid to their automatic hopes, the Bees have sealed back-to-back 1-0 wins over Bournemouth and Rotherham United. Watford still have the title to go for, but winning promotion this season was the main aim so it is job done really. Six of Brentford’s last nine have ended level, and there is good value in the draw and both teams to score here at 7/2.

1st May 2021

17:30 - Chelsea v Fulham

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 13/10

West London rivals Chelsea and Fulham lock horns at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. With the Blues battling for a UEFA Champions League place, while the Cottagers fight for their life at the bottom, this is a huge Premier League fixture for both clubs. As you would expect, Thomas Tuchel’s troops are the clear favourites in this one, although they may have at least one eye on their UCL semi-final second leg against Real Madrid.

Since taking over at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel has suffered just two defeats in 22 league and cup games. Chelsea are in the fourth and final Champions League spot at present, three points clear of West Ham United in fifth, though they could yet win this season’s competition to qualify anyway. The Blues should ease past their rivals on home turf at the weekend. They have kept a whole host of clean sheets under their new boss, so back Chelsea to win to nil on Saturday at 13/10.

1st May 2021

20:00 - Everton v Aston Villa

Everton to Win to Nil @ 12/5

On Saturday night, Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Dean Smith’s Aston Villa go head-to-head at Goodison Park in the Premier League. The Toffees are hunting down a UEFA Champions League place and are just six points away from fourth whilst also having a game in hand. As for the Villans, they find themselves in 11th after a solid season in the top flight and will want to push into the top half of the table with a strong finish.

Stats can be misleading as they are now unbeaten in four but after no wins in six in all competitions, Everton got back to winning ways last time out. They finally put their poor record at Arsenal to bed, with a late Bernd Leno own goal and complete howler gifting the Toffees a 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium. Villa have had a fine campaign, but we are backing the home team to make it back-to-back wins this weekend. Everton have a number of key players back from injury now and have kept clean sheets in each of their last four victories – back the hosts to win to nil here at excellent odds of 12/5.

2nd May 2021

14:00 - Newcastle v Arsenal

Newcastle United Win @ 5/2

On Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal meet at St James’ Park. The Magpies start the weekend in 16th place, nine points clear of 18th. As for the Gunners, they are in 10th spot with 46 points to their name. It’s fair to say that neither side has had a particularly impressive season in the top flight this term. Arsenal are the bookies’ favourites in this one at evens as they attempt to sneak into the European places.

Newcastle have turned their fortunes around of late, losing just one of their past eight games in the Premier League. After wins over Burnley and West Ham United, United scored at the death to leave Liverpool with a deserved point last time out. Arsenal will have one eye on next week’s UEFA Europa League semi, so they could suffer a lack of focus on this one. As such, we fancy Newcastle to extend their unbeaten run to five with three points on home turf. The home win is priced at odds of 5/2 which looks a decent bet against a side who have slipped up in the North East in the past.

2nd May 2021

16:30 - Manchester United v Liverpool

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Rivals Manchester United and Liverpool lock horns in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. Despite being 14 points behind in the current table, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds head to Manchester as the bookies’ favourites. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in-form Red Devils will be no pushovers on home soil, though. This promises to be a cracker between the fierce rivals and it really could go either way.

Liverpool are still nowhere near back to their best but the Merseysiders have improved in the Premier League of late, having won three and drawn two of their last five matches. Man United have suffered just one league defeat since a 1-0 home reverse to Arsenal way back on 1st November. This is a tough one to call, so we are backing the pair to play out an entertaining stalemate on Sunday. The draw and both teams to score is available at the decent odds of 7/2 and that’s the bet for us.

2nd May 2021

19:15 - Tottenham v Sheffield United

Tottenham Hotspur to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for a big three points when they entertain bottom club Sheffield United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Premier League action on Sunday. At the time of writing, Spurs are five points behind fourth place. After last weekend’s heartbreaking defeat in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium, can Tottenham return to winning ways?

Before the cup final defeat, interim boss Ryan Mason – who is set to take charge of first-team duties for the rest of the season – guided Tottenham to a 2-1 home win over Southampton in his first match in charge. The Londoners have loads of work to do in terms of breaking into the top four, but they should ease past the relegated Blades this weekend. Put some money on Spurs to win both halves at a fair price of 7/4.

3rd May 2021

18:00 - West Brom v Wolves

Wolves to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Rivals West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers square off in a Black Country derby in the Premier League on Monday night. Sam Allardyce’s men are running out of time to save their top-flight status, with the Baggies nine points adrift of safety with 15 points to play for. Albion have shown signs of life of late, but can they pick up a precious three points here?

West Brom were seconds away from winning at Villa Park last time out, which would have been their third victory in four games. However, a mix-up between the defence and goalkeeper saw two points slip away at the death. Wolves are in patchy form, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad is full of match-winning quality. We fancy the visitors to edge this one at The Hawthorns. Back Wolves to win by one goal at odds of 3/1.

3rd May 2021

20:15 - Burnley v West Ham

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Sean Dyche’s Burnley and David Moyes’ West Ham United do battle at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Monday night. The Clarets are all but safe after last weekend’s stunning win at Molineux. As for the Hammers, they are still well and truly in the mix for the UEFA Champions League places. Can the Londoners leave Lancashire on Monday with a huge three points?

After three straight defeats, Burnley returned to winning ways in emphatic style last Sunday, thumping Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at Molineux. West Ham could do with a win after damaging back-to-back defeats to Newcastle United and Chelsea. The Irons won the reverse game 1-0, and this could be another close encounter between the pair. With that in mind, check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2.
