Football Tips – November 2021

2nd Nov 2021

17:45 - Malmo v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win -2 Goals @ 13/10

Thomas Tuchel takes his Chelsea troops to Sweden to face Malmo in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening. The current European champions have work to do in Group H, with Juventus leading the way on nine points, while the Blues have six points in the bag. Still, the current Premier League leaders would put one foot in the last 16 if they muster a win in Sweden in midweek.

Chelsea wiped the floor with Malmo in the reverse meeting at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago. A Jorginho brace and efforts from Andreas Christensen and Kai Havertz gave the Blues a convincing 4-0 win. Malmo have suffered three heavy defeats so far and the Swedish champions could be on the wrong end of another big scoreline here. Have a punt on the away team to win with a -2 goal handicap, which is available at the decent price of 13/10.

2nd Nov 2021

19:45 - Birmingham City v Bristol City

Draw @ 12/5

Birmingham City and Bristol City square off at St Andrew’s in EFL Championship action on Tuesday night. These two have identical records, winning five, drawing four and losing six of their opening 15 games. This could be a tight game in the West Midlands, though the home team are the favourites with the bookies. Who will come out on top in this intriguing Championship clash?

Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham have had a mixed start to their season but the Blues head into this one having won two games on the spin. After a 2-1 home victory over Swansea City, Birmingham beat Middlesbrough 2-0 at the Riverside Stadium last time out. Bristol City have struggled with consistency but they picked up a crucial home win over Barnsley in their last outing after three straight losses. We fancy the evenly matched teams to play out a draw, which is available to back at odds of 12/5.

2nd Nov 2021

19:45 - Luton v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough to Win by One Goal @ 7/2

Luton Town and Middlesbrough go head-to-head at Kenilworth Road in an EFL Championship fixture on Tuesday night. The Hatters may have suffered defeat at Preston North End in their last one, but Nathan Jones’ boys have made a fantastic start to their season. Can they get back to winning ways against Neil Warnock’s unpredictable Boro in midweek?

Before last weekend’s 2-0 loss at Deepdale, Luton were five games unbeaten, winning three and drawing two. Middlesbrough have had a mixed bag of results of late, and Warnock will be looking for a response from his players after Saturday’s home defeat. Boro had won three in a row before that and we are backing the North Yorkshire club to sneak a win in Luton. Put some money on the visitors to win by one goal at a fair price of 7/2.

2nd Nov 2021

19:45 - Millwall v Reading

Millwall to Win 2-1 @ 15/2

At The Den on Tuesday night, Gary Rowett’s Millwall take on Veljko Paunovic’s Reading in the EFL Championship. The Lions will be looking to roar back after the disappointing loss in Huddersfield last time out. As for the Royals, they will be hoping to stop a run of three consecutive Championship defeats. The home side are the favourites in this one and rightly so in our eyes.

Millwall’s loss at the John Smith’s Stadium at the weekend was only their fourth league reverse of the campaign. Prior to that, Rowett’s troops had won four of their previous five games. Since posting five wins from six matches, Reading have suffered three straight defeats. The Lions picked up a 2-1 win over Reading back in February when these two teams last locked horns and a repeat scoreline this Tuesday is available at the tempting odds of 15/2.

2nd Nov 2021

20:00 - Atalanta v Manchester United

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United will be hoping to take a giant leap towards the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds with three points against Atalanta in midweek. These two played out a five-goal thriller at Old Trafford last month, with United coming from two goals down to win 3-2. We anticipate the pair could put on quite a show in Bergamo on Tuesday and it could be a great match for the neutrals.

After losing their opening game in heartbreaking fashion, Man United have bounced back with two much-needed home wins in Group F. They have not been at their best, though, edging both matches by a one-goal margin. Atalanta gave the Red Devils a scare at Old Trafford, but United came from behind to get the points. You can get the solid odds of 11/4 for the Man United win and both teams to score in this one, which looks a good bet to us.

3rd Nov 2021

19:45 - Blackburn v Fulham

Fulham to Win to Nil @ 5/2

Blackburn Rovers and Fulham square off at Ewood Park on Wednesday in an intriguing EFL Championship fixture. Tony Mowbray’s men have made a solid start to their campaign, sitting just one point away from the play-offs in seventh. In-form Fulham are in second spot after 10 wins from their opening 15 matches.

After four games without a win, Rovers have bounced back with two victories in a row. Marco Silva’s boys are in stunning form, winning four on the spin since that shock 4-1 loss at Coventry City. The Cottagers have scored goals for fun during that run, netting 13 and shipping just one. Fulham have kept clean sheets in their last three games, and we like the look of the 5/2 price available for the away team to win to nil once again in midweek.

3rd Nov 2021

20:00 - Manchester City v Club Brugge

Manchester City HT/FT @ 4/9

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City welcome Philippe Clement’s Club Brugge to the Etihad Stadium this Wednesday for a UEFA Champions League fixture. City ran out emphatic 5-1 winners at the Jan Breydel Stadium last month, and the Premier League champions will be looking for another big Group A victory in midweek.

Man City are currently in second spot, a point behind leaders Paris-Saint Germain. With Brugge on four points, the Citizens will take a giant leap towards the Round of 16 with victory. City have had a week to forget, losing in the EFL Cup to West Ham United before suffering a shock home league defeat to Crystal Palace. Nevertheless, they should ease past the Belgians on Wednesday. We’ll be putting a few quid on the home team to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 4/9.

3rd Nov 2021

20:00 - Liverpool v Atletico Madrid

Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 12/5

Two European heavyweights go head-to-head in UEFA Champions League Group B on Wednesday night, as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool host Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid at Anfield. The Reds already have one foot in the last 16 after winning three out of three. Atleti have work to do, as the Spanish champions are level with Porto on four points.

Liverpool have had an eventful Champions League campaign thus far, winning 3-2 twice and thumping Porto 5-1 away from home. Mohamed Salah netted a brace to help the Reds to a 3-2 victory at the Metropolitano Stadium in the reverse match. Klopp’s boys have conceded in all three of their Group B fixtures so far and you can get the top price of 12/5 for the home victory and both teams to score in this one, which looks a tempting option to us.

3rd Nov 2021

20:00 - West Brom v Hull City

West Brom to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

West Bromwich Albion entertain Hull City at The Hawthorns in the EFL Championship on Wednesday. Valerien Ismael’s men have been in patchy form of late, losing three and winning two of their last five. The Tigers have really struggled on their Championship return and Grant McCann’s team head to the West Midlands having lost four games on the bounce.

Since the opening weekend win at Preston North End, Hull have picked up just one Championship victory. West Brom have not been at their best lately, and Albion suffered a heavy defeat at Fulham last time out. Still, the Baggies should be too strong for struggling Hull at The Hawthorns. West Brom have won by more than one goal three times this term, and you can get the decent price of 11/10 for Ismael’s side to win with a -1 goal handicap in midweek.

4th Nov 2021

17:45 - Brondby v Rangers

Rangers to Win to Nil @ 12/5

Steven Gerrard takes his Rangers troops to Denmark in midweek to face Brondby in a vital UEFA Europa League fixture. Lyon are flying high at the top of Group A after taking maximum points, but the battle for second place could go to the wire, with the Scottish giants not performing as well as they did in this competition 12 months ago. Sparta Prague hold second at present, with the Gers just a point behind in third so there is still everything to play for.

The Scottish champions started their European campaign with a 2-0 home reverse to Lyon. Gerrard’s men then suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in Prague. However, they picked up a huge three points in game three, with Leon Balogun and Kemar Roofe scoring in a 2-0 success over Brondby. We fancy Rangers to get the points and keep another clean sheet in this one so back the Glasgow giants to win to nil at once again at the very tidy price of 12/5.

4th Nov 2021

17:45 - Genk v West Ham

West Ham United to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

Genk and West Ham United lock horns in UEFA Europa League Group H action on Thursday night. The in-form Hammers have one foot in the last 16 after taking nine points from a possible nine as they continue to thrive in every competition they are playing in at the moment. Can West Ham move on to 12 points with a win at the Luminus Arena in midweek? United are the bookies’ favourites at evens and they think they will have a comfortable night in Belgium.

West Ham made light work of the Belgians when they met at the London Stadium two weeks ago. Efforts from Craig Dawson, Issa Diop and Jarrod Bowen gave the Irons an easy 3-0 home win. Moyes’ men are in stunning form right now, winning eight of their last nine across all competitions. They should be too strong for Genk again, and there is good value in big odds of 12/5 for West Ham to win -1.

4th Nov 2021

20:00 - Leicester v Spartak Moscow

Leicester City Win & BTTS @ 7/4

After a memorable 4-3 win at Spartak Moscow in their last European outing, Leicester City’s UEFA Europa League campaign has finally taken off. This Thursday, Brendan Rodgers’ side welcome Spartak to the King Power Stadium in a huge Group C fixture. Victory for the Foxes would put them in the top two with two games to play.

Leicester have found the Europa League tough going so far this season, but their win over Moscow has kept their dreams alive. Little known Patson Daka was the hero at the Otkritie Arena in the Russian capital, netting City’s four goals in the 4-3 victory. This promises to be another entertaining game between the pair, so take a look at the tempting odds of 7/4 for the home side to win and both teams to score.

4th Nov 2021

20:00 - Ferencvarosi v Celtic

Celtic Win @ 3/10

Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic travel to Hungary this Thursday to take on Peter Stoger’s Ferencvarosi in UEFA Europa League action. The Bhoys have given themselves a lifeline after their win in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago, but the Glasgow side still have plenty of work to do. Can they move on to six points with victory at the Ferencvaros Stadion to keep themselves in the hunt for a vital top-two spot?

Celtic won 2-0 at Celtic Park when the pair met two weeks back. It was a massive result for the Hoops, with an own goal and a Kyogo Furuhashi strike doing the business. Celtic have found form of late, winning five and drawing one of their last six in all competitions. We fancy the Scottish outfit to leave Hungary with a big three points in the bag. The bookies have the away win priced at 3/10 and it offers value even at those short odds.

4th Nov 2021

20:00 - Tottenham v Vitesse

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 11/5

Tottenham Hotspur are back in UEFA Europa Conference League action on Thursday when they welcome Vitesse to the English capital. Spurs will be out for revenge after their 1-0 loss in Arnhem, and the Lilywhites are the red-hot favourites on home soil. Tottenham could do with a win after taking just four points from a possible nine in Group G and slipping down the Premier League table domestically too.

Nuno Espirito Santo endured a tough time since taking over in north London but he wasn’t really given long. Antonio Conte looks set to replace him but that won’t come in time for this clash. Tottenham have already suffered seven defeats this term, with two of those coming in this competition. Spurs were poor in Holland two weeks back, and the London outfit have lost three of their last four league and cup games. Nevertheless, they should bounce back with a much-needed European victory on Thursday with players keen to impress whoever the new manager turns out to be. You can get the home win and both teams to score at 11/5.

5th Nov 2021

19:55 - Sudbury v Colchester United

Colchester United to Win -1 Goal @ 8/11

Away from the monied world of the Premier League we have a little bit of romance to enjoy. On Friday night, Sudbury and Colchester United go head-to-head in the first round of the 2021-22 FA Cup, bidding to edge closer to a potential glamour third round tie against one of the big boys. The Suffolk club currently ply their trade in the Isthmian League North Division. EFL League Two Colchester are the clear favourites, but can the non-league side cause a big cup upset at King’s Marsh on Friday?

Sudbury booked their place in round one by seeing off Dartford in the previous round. Mark Morsley’s men picked up a handy 3-1 victory on home soil. United have been in poor form of late, though they did secure a vital home league win over fellow strugglers Scunthorpe United last time out. Colchester’s Football League experience should get them over the line in this one. We like the look of 8/11 for the visitors to win -1.

5th Nov 2021

20:00 - Southampton v Aston Villa

Southampton Win @ 3/1

The weekend’s Premier League action begins on Friday night when Southampton and Aston Villa lock horns at St Mary’s. The Villans are in poor form, losing four in a row since that famous win at Old Trafford in September. As for the Saints, they are unbeaten in three in the Premier League and starting to click into gear, though if they lose this their opponents will move above them in the table.

Southampton failed to win any of their opening seven league matches, drawing four and losing three. However, they finally got their first victory with a 1-0 home success over Leeds United in game eight. They then drew with Burnley and beat Watford and that has seen them rise to 14th in the table. Aston Villa suffered their fourth straight reverse last weekend, losing 4-1 at home to West Ham United. Southampton’s two wins have been by a single goal, and the hosts are priced at big odds of 3/1 to win by exactly one on Friday, good value against a team out of sorts.

6th Nov 2021

12:30 - Manchester United v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Rivals Manchester United and Manchester City lock horns in a mouth-watering Premier League Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils bounced back from the Liverpool debacle with a big three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend. As for Man City, they crashed to a shock home defeat to Crystal Palace.

United have struggled on their own patch this season, already suffering defeats to West Ham United, Aston Villa and Liverpool. Man City were beaten in their last away fixture, losing on penalties to West Ham in the Carabao Cup. However, they are undefeated on the road in the league since the opening weekend reverse at Spurs. This Manchester derby could go either way, but we fancy City to nick a narrow win at Old Trafford – back the visitors to win by one at big odds of 11/4 against a United side that will surely sit back and look to play on the counter.

6th Nov 2021

15:00 - Chelsea v Burnley

Chelsea to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Premier League leaders Chelsea welcome struggling Burnley to Stamford Bridge this Saturday afternoon. The Blues have looked the real deal under Thomas Tuchel this season, winning eight of their opening 10 league games and also going along very nicely in the cups too. The London outfit will stay at the top of the table during the November international break with three points on home turf and we fully expect them to deliver, even against a side who were very good last time out.

Chelsea have been in stunning form of late, winning their last seven league and cup games since losing to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League in September. The Clarets finally picked up their first Premier League win of the season last time out, beating Brentford 3-1 at home. However, this will be a major step up in class from that and a really stern test for Sean Dyche and his boys. Chelsea should claim another comfortable home victory here, so take a punt on the Blues to win both halves at odds of 7/4 which look more than fair to us.

6th Nov 2021

17:15 - Banbury United v Barrow

Barrow Win & BTTS @ 6/4

Banbury United of the Sothern League Premier Division Central welcome EFL League Two side Barrow to the Spencer Stadium in an FA Cup first round tie on Saturday evening. As you would expect, the Football League club are the favourites, but can the Puritans pull off a huge cup upset in front of their own supporters and show that the romance of the cup lives on?

Banbury booked their place in the first round by seeing off Bath City in mid-October, winning 1-0 on home turf. Barrow have been in poor form of late, failing to win in any competition since a 1-0 League Two victory at Mansfield Town on 2nd October. This will not be an easy game for Mark Cooper’s men, but we fancy the EFL side to snatch a win in Oxfordshire. Back the away victory and both teams to score (6/4).

6th Nov 2021

17:30 - Brighton v Newcastle

Brighton & Hove Albion Win @ 3/5

Brighton & Hove Albion entertain Newcastle United at the Amex Stadium in Premier League action on Saturday evening. Fresh from their excellent point at Anfield, the Seagulls will be looking for all three points from this one. The Magpies have failed to win any of their opening 10 Premier League matches, and this will be another tough game for United. Saudi billions are all well and good but how attractive will the Magpies look in the Championship?

Brighton came from two goals down to pick up an unlikely point at Liverpool last time out. They thoroughly deserved it though and were probably the better side over the 90 minutes. Albion have been very hard to beat this season, with just Everton and Manchester City getting the better of them in the league. Managerless Newcastle have made a dreadful start, drawing four and losing seven of their opening 11 league and cup matches. Back Brighton to pile yet more misery on the Noth East club and to pick up their first league win since mid-September (3/5).

6th Nov 2021

17:30 - Blackpool v QPR

Blackpool to Win 2-1 @ 9/1

Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers go head-to-head in Saturday evening’s kick off in the EFL Championship. After a slow start, the Tangerines have hit their stride and have turned themselves into genuine play-off contenders, while QPR have been in patchy form of late but also look like they could be there or there abouts come May. Who will come out on top in this intriguing clash at Bloomfield Road?

Neil Critchley’s Pool have been in excellent form over the past six weeks or so, beating the likes of Fulham, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United. Rangers made a strong start to their season, but the London club have struggled for consistency lately. This one could go either way between two evenly matched teams, but we fancy the Seasiders to edge it on home soil. Check out the 2-1 Blackpool victory at the top price of 9/1.

7th Nov 2021

12:15 - Sheffield Wednesday v Plymouth

Plymouth Argyle Win @ 14/5

Two EFL League One sides meet in the first round of the FA Cup on Sunday, as Sheffield Wednesday welcome Plymouth Argyle to Hillsborough. The Pilgrims are flying high in second place at present, collecting an impressive 33 points from 16 League One games. Can Ryan Lowe’s men take their league form into the FA Cup?

Plymouth wiped the floor with Wednesday when the duo locked horns at Home Park in September, with Joe Edwards, Dan Scarr and Ryan Law on target in a deserved 3-0 success. This will be the first meeting between the pair at Hillsborough for over a decade. Argyle have suffered just one league loss so far and we fancy the visitors to see off the Owls in the cup at the weekend. The Plymouth victory is nicely priced at odds of 14/5 and that will do for us.

7th Nov 2021

14:00 - Arsenal v Watford

Arsenal HT/FT @ 11/10

In-form Arsenal welcome a disjointed and struggling Watford side to the Emirates Stadium for a Premier League game on Sunday afternoon that has significance for both sides. The Gunners have improved drastically in recent weeks after some indifferent displays and Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to 10 games in all competitions. As excepted, the home team are the clear favourites in this one.

Since an embarrassing 5-0 league reverse at Manchester City in August, Arsenal have bounced back with seven wins and two draws from their following nine league and cup games. Last weekend’s 2-0 victory at Leicester City took the Londoners to sixth place in the table and they can once again dream about breaking into the Champions League. Under Claudio Ranieri, the Hornets have won one and lost two of their three matches. We fancy in-form Arsenal to secure another comfortable home victory here. Have a punt on the solid odds of 11/10 for Arsenal to be winning at half time and full time.

7th Nov 2021

14:00 - Everton v Tottenham

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Everton and Tottenham Hotspur meet in a tasty Premier League clash at Goodison Park on Sunday. After taking over from the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo in the week, this will be Antonio Conte’s first league game in charge of Spurs. Can the former Chelsea boss pile more misery on Rafa Benitez and Co with a win at Goodison?

Benitez made a positive impact when he arrived at Everton, guiding the Toffees to four wins from their opening six Premier League matches of the season. However, the Merseysiders have taken just one point from a possible 12 since and have lost the last three after some rather toothless displays. Tottenham have lost five of their previous seven league matches. With both teams in poor form, a point apiece would not be a bad result. As such we’ll be backing the draw and both teams to score at odds of 10/3.

7th Nov 2021

14:00 - Leeds v Leicester

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Leeds United and Leicester City lock horns at Elland Road on Sunday in Premier League action. United made a poor start to their season but have improved in recent weeks. As for Leicester, they will be hoping to hit back after last weekend’s disappointing home defeat to Arsenal. This one could go either way at Elland Road and it promises to be an intriguing encounter.

Leeds have collected seven points from the last 12 on offer to move on to 10 points. Last weekend, Marcelo Bielsa’s boys sealed their first away win of the current campaign, beating bottom club Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road. Before last Saturday’s loss to Arsenal, Leicester were on a four-game unbeaten run in the Premier League. This one could be close but we fancy the Foxes to nick the points in Yorkshire. The away win by one is available at odds of 10/3.

7th Nov 2021

15:00 - Stratford Town v Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Town to Win -1 Goal @ 5/6

Stratford Town of the Southern League Premier Division Central welcome EFL League One side Shrewsbury Town to Knights Lane this Sunday in the FA Cup. With the Shrews struggling in League One at present, can Paul Davis’s Bards cause a huge upset this weekend? The home victory is priced at 7/1 which is sure to tempt a few neutrals who are sniffing out a big cupset.

Stratford needed a replay to see off Boston United in the previous round to set up this clash with the third-tier outfit. After a 1-1 draw on the road, Davis’s side edged a five-goal thriller on home soil. The Shrews have struggled to get going this season, but Steve Cotterill’s men have won three of their last six in all competitions. The League One side should seal their passage through to round two with a comfortable victory in Warwickshire and we’ll be backing the away side to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 5/6.

7th Nov 2021

16:30 - West Ham v Liverpool

West Ham United Win @ 15/4

One of the standout Premier League fixtures of the weekend is the West Ham United v Liverpool affair at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon. This will be the final match before the November international break. West Ham are in stunning form at present, while the Reds are the only unbeaten side left in the Premier League.

David Moyes’ men head into this one having won four of their previous five league encounters. Last time out in the Premier League, the Hammers thumped Aston Villa 4-1 away from home. Liverpool let a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 with Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield last week. Jurgen Klopp’s men remain unbeaten, but we fancy Moyes’ in-form Irons to edge this one on their own patch. The West Ham win is generously priced at odds of 15/4, which looks good value to us.

7th Nov 2021

17:15 - St Albans v Forest Green

Forest Green Rovers to Win Both Halves @ 2/1

St Albans City take on Forest Green Rovers at Clarence Park in the first round of the FA Cup this Sunday. The Saints from Hertfordshire currently ply their trade in the National League South. As for Rovers, they are sitting pretty at the top of the EFL League Two table right now. Can the hosts cause an upset, or will the Football League side be too strong?

Forest Green finished sixth in League Two last term, losing to Newport County in the play-offs. This year, the Green Army are hoping to go up automatically. St Albans will enjoy the occasion and no doubt have a real go in front of their home supporters, but Forest Green’s qualities should shine through. Check out the decent odds of 2/1 for the away team to win both halves.

8th Nov 2021

19:45 - Dagenham & Redbridge v Salford

Salford City to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

On Monday night in the FA Cup, National League side Dagenham and Redbridge welcome EFL League Two outfit Salford City to Victoria Road. These two clubs have been on very different paths in recent years. Dagenham will fancy their chances on their own patch, but Gary Bowyer’s side head to East London as the favourites.

Salford have had a mixed bag of results in League Two so far this season, winning four, drawing four and losing seven of their games to this point. They did pick up a 5-3 win over Leeds United U21 in the Football League Trophy in midweek, however. This will not be an easy game against the National League side, but Bowyer’s boys should just about edge it. There is good value in the odds of 11/4 for Salford to win by one goal at Victoria Park.

11th Nov 2021

19:45 - Republic of Ireland v Portugal

Portugal to Win to Nil @ 11/10

The Republic of Ireland entertain Portugal at the Aviva Stadium this Thursday night in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying action in what is sure to be a tough night for the hosts. The Portuguese are in pole position to claim top spot in Group A, as Ferando Santos’s men are a point behind leaders Serbia with a game in hand – Portugal and Serbia meet in Lisbon this Sunday. Ireland are already eliminated after just one win from six after a pretty woeful qualification campaign.

Stephen Kenny’s men have hardly put a foot right in recent months, taking a mere five points from a possible 18 and even lost to lowly Luxembourg. However, they did pick up a win in their last one, beating Azerbaijan 3-0 in Baku. Portugal have dropped just two points so far, and the Navigators should navigate past the Irish with ease in Dublin. They have won their last two Group A games without conceding and we’ll be backing the visitors to win to nil again at odds of 11/10.

11th Nov 2021

19:45 - Greece v Spain

Spain to Win -1 Goal @ 11/8

Luis Enrique takes his Spain troops to the Olympic Stadium in Athens this Thursday to play Greece in a vital 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. The Spaniards still have work to do in Group B, as they are currently two points behind leaders Sweden with two fixtures to go. Spain and Sweden lock horns in Seville on Sunday and La Roja will be looking for six points from their final two qualifiers.

Greece have been competitive in Group B, winning three, drawing two and losing only one of their six games thus far. They cannot qualify directly to Qatar but John van ’t Schip’s men can still make the play-offs. However, we think Spain should be too strong for the Pirate Ship in Athens on Thursday. The Spaniards won 2-0 in Kosovo in their last qualifier and you can get the solid price of 11/8 for the visitors to win with a -1 goal handicap in Greece, which looks good to us.

12th Nov 2021

19:45 - England v Albania

England HT/FT @ 8/15

Gareth Southgate’s England end their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying home campaign with a tasty fixture against Albania at Wembley Stadium on Friday night. The Three Lions still have a little bit of work to do after drawing two of their past three, but Southgate’s side have one foot in next year’s World Cup in Qatar. The Albanians still have qualifying hopes of their own, as they are just two points behind Poland.

England have had another dominant qualifying campaign. They should have secured qualification already, but a couple of draws has prolonged the wait. Albania have been excellent so far, but Edoardo Reja’s boys could find life difficult at Wembley on Friday. England should cruise to victory on home soil, so check out the tempting price of 8/15 for the Three Lions to be winning at half time and full time.

12th Nov 2021

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Lithuania

Northern Ireland to Win Both Halves @ 11/4

Ian Baraclough’s Northern Ireland take on Valdas Ivanauskas’s Lithuania in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Windsor Park in Belfast this Friday night. Even though the nations are already eliminated from Group C, both teams will be gunning for all three points from this one. Norn Iron will avoid finishing bottom of the group with three points in front of their home fans.

It has been a tough campaign for Baraclough and his Northern Ireland troops. The Green and White Army have picked up just one win from six games, drawing two and losing three of the other five. However, when these two met in Vilnius back in September, Northern Ireland romped to a 4-1 win. The hosts should dominate this one, so check out the solid odds of 11/4 for Norn Iron to win both halves.

12th Nov 2021

19:45 - Italy v Switzerland

Italy to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Italy and Switzerland go head-to-head in a crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Friday night. The pair are the current top two in Group C, both collecting 14 points from six games. They drew 0-0 in Basel in the reverse fixture, but will we see a winner in Rome? The UEFA Euro 2020 champions are the favourites on home soil.

The winners of this showdown in the Italian capital should go on to win the group and secure direct qualification to Qatar. There was nothing to split the pair when they locked horns at St Jakob-Park in Basel two months back, and this one will no doubt be another tight encounter. However, home advantage could be key, and we fancy Gli Azzurri to nick a narrow victory. As such we’ll be backing the hosts to win by one goal at odds of 5/2.

13th Nov 2021

19:45 - Wales v Belarus

Wales to Win to Nil @ 8/11

Wales entertain Belarus at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday night in a vital 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. The Dragons are in an excellent position to take second spot in Group E, as they are level on points with Czech Republic with a game in hand. Belgium are five points clear at the top and look nailed on to win the group. Can Wales pick up a precious three points here to bolster their chances of making it to Qatar?

Rob Page’s men have had a solid qualifying campaign up until now, winning half of their six matches. The Welsh are unbeaten in the group since losing to the Belgians in Leuven back in March. Belarus are rock bottom after six defeats from seven, and the home team should secure a comfortable victory here. We will therefore be having a punt on Wales to win to nil at odds of 8/11.

13th Nov 2021

19:45 - Montenegro v Netherlands

Netherlands to Win -2 Goals @ 21/10

Netherlands make the trip to the City Stadium in Podgorica to take on Montenegro this Saturday in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Louis van Gaal’s Holland are top of Group G and in pole position to reach Qatar directly. Montenegro still have slim hopes of qualification, but this will be a tough game for the home side. Will the Dutch move on to 22 points?

Holland have been very easy on the eye during this qualifying campaign, with Oranje winning six of eight matches and scoring a staggering 29 goals. When these two teams locked horns at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven back in September, Netherlands cruised to a 4-0 home win. We fancy a similar outcome here, so check out the tempting odds of 21/10 for the away team to win with a -2 goal handicap.

14th Nov 2021

19:45 - Luxembourg v Republic of Ireland

Republic of Ireland Win @ 11/10

Republic of Ireland end their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a trip to Luxembourg this Sunday. Stephen Kenny’s men have had a pretty miserable time in Group A, although they are unbeaten in the last four. They won’t be at the World Cup in Qatar but will want to finish the group on a minor high. Can the Irish end with a win in the Stade de Luxembourg this Sunday night?

The Republic held Portugal to 0-0 draw in front of over 50,000 fans at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday night. After Pepe was sent off with 10 minutes to go, the Irish could have won it in Dublin so their morale will be decent coming into this. The point was another step in the right direction for the Boys in Green and as they build for the future, they will expect all three here. Luxembourg have had a decent campaign, winning three times, but we fancy Ireland to end on a high note. The away victory is nicely priced at solid looking odds of 11/10.

14th Nov 2021

19:45 - Portugal v Serbia

Portugal to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Portugal and Serbia meet in a crunch 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Sunday night. With the hosts rather slipping up last time out against Ireland, this group is very much alive right now. In fact, with both of these nations collecting 17 points from a possible 21, this is a straight shootout for first place in Group A. The pair played out a four-goal draw in Belgrade back in March, and Sunday’s showdown at the Estadio da Luz is likely to be another tight one.

Portugal have a better goal difference and are in pole position to win the group, with a draw being enough for Fernando Santos’ men. Serbia have been very easy on the eye during this World Cup qualifying campaign, and Dragan Stojkovic’s troops will be no pushovers in Lisbon. However, we fancy the Portuguese to pick up a narrow victory on home turf. You can get big odds of 13/5 for Portugal to win by one and in what should be a tense clash that looks generous to us.

15th Nov 2021

19:45 - Northern Ireland v Italy

Italy HT/FT @ 4/5

Northern Ireland entertain UEFA Euro 2020 winners Italy at Windsor Park in their final 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Monday night. The Italians are embroiled in a fascinating scrap for first place with Switzerland. Gli Azzurri are in Belfast, while the Swiss host Bulgaria in their last game. Can Ian Baraclough’s Green and White Army cause an upset on home soil?

Northern Ireland have had a difficult time in Group C but can still finish above the Bulgarians in third. Italy dropped the ball against Switzerland last time out, drawing 1-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. However, we fancy Roberto Mancini’s men to bounce back with a comfortable victory in Northern Ireland. Put some money on the away team to be winning at half time and full time at the decent odds of 4/5.

15th Nov 2021

19:45 - Scotland v Denmark

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

The top two in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group F go head-to-head this Monday, as Steve Clarke’s Scotland entertain Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark at Hampden Park. The Danes are the only nation in World Cup qualifying to have won all of their matches at this point and they’ll want to maintain that excellent record. This will be a real test for the Scots, but Clarke’s in-form side will fancy their chances in Glasgow.

Since losing 2-0 to Denmark in Copenhagen back in September, Scotland have won five in a row in Group F to make second spot their own. The Scots have racked up an impressive 20 points from 27 on offer. Scotland are in terrific form, while the Danes have been sensational of late. We are backing the home side to hold the Group F winners to a draw at Hampden – the draw and both teams to score is priced at odds of 7/2.

15th Nov 2021

19:45 - San Marino v England

England to Win -4 @ 4/11

Gareth Southgate’s England will secure their spot in next year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar with any kind of positive result in San Marino on Monday. The Three Lions won the reverse game 5-0 at Wembley Stadium back in March, and the English will be looking for another big margin of victory at the San Marino Stadium in Serravalle.

England blew Albania away at the weekend, scoring five times in the first half to secure an emphatic 5-0 home victory. That result put Southgate’s side on the cusp of automatic World Cup qualification. Overall, England have won seven and drew two of nine, scoring 29 goals in the process. In contrast, San Marino have lost nine out of nine and shipped 36. This will be a walk in the park for the Three Lions – back the away win with a -4 goal handicap at odds of 4/11.

16th Nov 2021

19:45 - Wales v Belgium

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Rob Page’s Wales and Roberto Martinez’s Belgium square off at the Cardiff City Stadium this Tuesday in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying action. The Belgians have already won Group E after six wins and a draw from seven games, while the Dragons are currently three points above Czech Republic in the race for second place. Who will come out on top in the Welsh capital in midweek?

Wales are already assured of a play-off place after their performance in the last UEFA Nations League campaign. However, finishing second in the group should give them an easier draw on paper. The in-form Belgians, who are the number one ranked nation in the world at the moment, will certainly be tough opponents, but they have nothing muh to play for and could rest some key players. As such we fancy Wales to hold the Red Devils to a draw in Cardiff. The draw and both teams to score is nicely priced at odds of 10/3.

16th Nov 2021

19:45 - Finland v France

France to Win to Nil @ 13/8

Finland and France go head-to-head at the Helsinki Stadium in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying action on Tuesday night. The world champions secured their spot in next year’s World Cup in Qatar with a thumping 8-0 home win over Kazakhstan at the weekend. Les Bleus will be looking to sign off with a fifth Group D victory on Tuesday.

Finland are two points above Ukraine in the race for second place in the group. The Ukrainians travel to Zenica to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in their last one. France can take their foot off the gas after securing qualification, but Didier Deschamps’ men will want the win in Helsinki to maintain their momentum. An Antoine Griezmann brace gave the French a 2-0 victory in the meeting between the pair in Lyon two months back and we can see a similar result in this one. As such we’ll be putting some money on France to win to nil again at odds of 13/8.

16th Nov 2021

19:45 - Netherlands v Norway

Netherlands Win @ 2/5

In 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group G, Netherlands and Norway clash in a huge game at De Kuip in Rotterdam on Tuesday night. After letting a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 with Montenegro last time out, Louis van Gaal’s men still have work to do in terms of securing direct qualification to Qatar. Both Turkey and Norway are just two points behind the Dutch.

Holland would already be preparing for next year’s World Cup if they had held on against Montenegro at the weekend. Two goals in the last eight minutes gave the Montenegrins a share of the spoils in Podgorica. Due to their far inferior goal difference, a point should be enough for the Netherlands to go through as group winners. However, we fancy the hosts to get the job done with a victory, which is available to back at odds of 2/5.

19th Nov 2021

19:45 - Queens Park Rangers v Luton Town

Queens Park Rangers Win & BTTS @ 10/3

The EFL Championship is back this Friday night when Queens Park Rangers and Luton Town square off at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Both teams have made good starts to their respective seasons. QPR are in in the play-offs after racking up 26 points from 17 games, while Luton are just two points behind.

Rangers are unbeaten in their last three games in the league, drawing two and winning one. They have been incredibly strong at the Kiyan Prince this term, with just Bristol City winning on their patch in league action. Luton have started well, but the Hatters head to London having lost two of their last three Championship matches. QPR should edge this one on home turf, and there is good value in the odds of 10/3 for the home win and both teams to score.

20th Nov 2021

12:30 - Leicester City v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win -1 @ 2/1

The Premier League gets back up and running after the latest international break with a potentially thrilling encounter between Leicester City and Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Despite dropping points at home to Burnley last time out, the Blues are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table. Can they get back to winning ways in the Midlands this weekend?

Leicester have been tough to beat of late, losing just one game in all competitions since September. However, Saturday’s showdown against the league leaders will be a tough task for Brendan Rodgers and his men. Thomas Tuchel’s boys have looked very strong on all fronts so far and we fancy them to seal a comfortable away win here. Check out the top odds of 2/1 for Chelsea to win with a -1 goal handicap at the King Power.

20th Nov 2021

12:30 - Sheffield United v Coventry City

Coventry City Win @ 3/1

On Saturday afternoon, Sheffield United and Coventry City go head-to-head at Bramall Lane in the EFL Championship. Before a ball was kicked, the Blades were fancied for promotion, while the Sky Blues were tipped for a season of struggle, but things have been quite different so far. City are 11 points clear of United ahead of Saturday’s clash in Sheffield.

Slavisa Jokanovic was brought in to get Sheffield United back into the Premier League at the first time of asking. However, the 53 year old has had a difficult time at Bramall Lane so far, guiding the Blades to just five wins from 17 league games. In contrast, Mark Robins’ Coventry have been the surprise package in the Championship and they are currently sitting in fourth place in the table on 30 points. Check out the away win here at the top price of 3/1, which looks fair value to us.

20th Nov 2021

15:00 - Watford v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Claudio Ranieri’s Watford and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United meet at Vicarage Road in Premier League action on Saturday. The pressure has been heaped on United boss Solskjaer after his side has suffered four defeats from their last six matches in the Premier League. As for the Hornets, they have lost four of their previous five and as such this is a massive game for both teams.

The Red Devils have blown hot and cold lately, to say the least. After an embarrassing 5-0 home loss to Liverpool, United bounced back with a 3-0 away victory at Tottenham Hotspur. However, before the break, Ole’s boys were easily beaten by Manchester City at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby. Ranieri has struggled at Watford so far, losing three of his four games. We fancy Man United to edge this one a Vicarage Road and we’ll be putting some money on the visitors to win by one goal at odds of 13/5.

20th Nov 2021

17:30 - Liverpool v Arsenal

Draw & BTTS @ 5/1

The standout fixture of the Premier League weekend comes from Anfield on Saturday evening, as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool take on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. After suffering their first loss of the campaign before the international break, the Reds will be eager to get back to winning ways here. However, the Gunners head to Merseyside on an impressive 10-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

Liverpool succumbed to in-form West Ham United last time out, losing a five-goal thriller at the London Stadium. As for Arsenal, they kept up their fine form with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Watford at the Emirates Stadium. Liverpool are the favourites on home soil, but we fancy Arteta’s Gunners to return to the capital with a point. The draw and both teams to score is standing out for us, with the bookies offering a decent price of 5/1.

21st Nov 2021

12:00 - Derby v Bournemouth

Bournemouth to Win -1 Goal @ 21/10

EFL Championship leaders Bournemouth are in action on Sunday when they travel to Pride Park to face bottom side Derby County. After suffering their first league loss of the campaign, the Cherries bounced back with an emphatic 4-0 home success over Swansea City before the international break. Can Scott Parker’s boys chalk up another three points here?

Derby have not won since a 1-0 home victory over Reading back in September. Since then, Wayne Rooney’s side have drawn five and lost two of their following seven matches. In contrast, Bournemouth have looked the real deal of late, winning six of their last seven games. The Rams are fighting for their lives, but we fancy the Cherries to claim a comfortable away victory on Sunday. Take a punt on the leaders to win with a -1 goal handicap, which is available at odds of 21/10.

21st Nov 2021

14:00 - Manchester City v Everton

Manchester City HT/FT @ 4/7

Sunday’s early game in the Premier League will see Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Rafa Benitez’s Everton square off at the Etihad Stadium. City will be looking to kick on from their impressive victory over rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford before the latest international break. As for the Toffees, they are winless in five and starting to drift down the table.

Man City were stunned by Crystal Palace in their last home league match, losing 2-0 to Patrick Vieira’s men. However, the champions bounced back with a dominant display against Man United. The pressure is on Benitez, though, after his Toffees have gone five games without a win, drawing two and losing three. Pep’s boys will be after a comfortable home victory and we like the look of the odds of 4/7 for Man City to be winning at half time and full time at the Etihad.

21st Nov 2021

16:30 - Tottenham v Leeds

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 5/2

Antonio Conte takes charge of his first home Premier League game as Tottenham Hotspur boss this weekend. On Sunday afternoon, Spurs welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Leeds have picked up in recent weeks after an indifferent period but the home side head into his home game as the odds-on favourites with the bookies to get the win.

Conte has taken charge of two Tottenham games so far. In match one, Spurs beat Vitesse 3-2 at home in the UEFA Europa Conference League. They then drew 0-0 with Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League. Leeds are unbeaten in three games in the league, but we fancy Conte’s side to get the three points. Check out the tempting price of 5/2 for Tottenham to win and both teams to score in this one.

23rd Nov 2021

17:45 - Villarreal v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win by One Goal @ 10/3

Life after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for Manchester United starts at Villarreal on Tuesday night. Michael Carrick is set to take charge of this huge UEFA Champions League Group F game as the team attempt to regroup after Solskjaer’s sacking. The Red Devils are currently top of their group, ahead of the Spanish side only on head-to-head points. The group is incredibly tight, though, with Napoli on five and Young Boys on three, so a win here would be a big boost United.

Man United have had a mixed time in the Champions League so far. There has been plenty of late drama in Group F, with United conceding one and scoring two significant injury-time goals. This will no doubt be another tough European night for the Red Devils, but we are backing Carrick to get a win in his first game in charge. It could be another close game, so check out the top odds of 10/3 for United to win by a margin of one goal.

23rd Nov 2021

19:45 - Coventry v Birmingham

Coventry City Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Mark Robins’ Coventry City and Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham City lock horns in EFL Championship action this Tuesday night at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The Sky Blues were tipped by many to struggle this season, but Robins’ men have been the surprise package in the Championship up until now. Can they claim another home win here or will their good form come to an end?

Coventry have been outstanding since returning home, winning seven of nine Championship fixtures on their own patch. They have the joint best home record in the league with leaders Fulham. Birmingham make the short trip to Coventry having lost two in a row after three straight wins. We fancy the Sky Blues to secure another home victory on Tuesday. Check out the tempting price of 3/1 for the home win and both teams to score in what should be an open match.

23rd Nov 2021

20:00 - Chelsea v Juventus

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 13/8

Chelsea and Juventus go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night in a heavyweight UEFA Champions League clash. Juve are already safely through to the knockouts after picking up 12 points from a possible 12. The Blues will join the Old Lady in the last 16 if they managed to claim three points on their own patch on Tuesday.

Tuchel’s Chelsea, who are top of the Premier League at present, have been very hard to beat this term. However, Juve are one of just two teams to have edged past the European champions, winning the reverse game at the Juventus Stadium in September by a goal to nil. Nevertheless, we fancy Chelsea to return the favour in this one. Check out the solid price of 13/8 for the London club to win to nil for a 12th time this season.

23rd Nov 2021

20:00 - Reading v Sheffield United

Draw & Under 2.5 Goals @ 10/3

Reading and Sheffield United do battle at the (rather blandly named) Select Car Leasing Stadium on Tuesday night. The Royals are having off-field problems, but Veljko Paunovic’s men have taken four points from their last two EFL Championship games. Slavisa Jokanovic has struggled at Sheffield United so far, but can the Blades return to South Yorkshire with a massive three points in the bag?

After four successive league defeats, Reading bounced back with a much-needed win at Birmingham City before the international break. They then returned with a decent 1-1 home draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend. Sheffield United have also struggled for wins of late, picking up just two from their past nine league matches. We can see these two cancelling each other out in Berkshire. The draw and under 2.5 goals is available at a fair price of 10/3, which looks good to us.

24th Nov 2021

19:45 - Bristol City v Stoke

Stoke City to Win to Nil @ 11/4

Bristol City and Stoke City go head-to-head in the EFL Championship at Ashton Gate on Wednesday night. The Robins recently ended their long wait for a home win, but they were held by Blackburn Rovers at Ashton Gate at the weekend. As for the Potters, three straight victories has lifted them into fourth spot.

Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City have been in poor form of late, losing five of their last seven in the Championship. Stoke recently lost four in a row and took one point from a possible 15. However, they are right back on track after successive victories over Blackpool, Luton Town and Peterborough United. The Potters have kept clean sheets in each of those wins, and you can get odds of 11/4 for Michael O’Neill’s boys to win to nil again on Wednesday.

24th Nov 2021

19:45 - Fulham v Derby

Fulham to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

EFL Championship leaders Fulham welcome bottom club Derby County to Craven Cottage on Wednesday night. The Cottagers are flying high at present and have won seven games in a row to fire themselves to the summit. The Rams picked up a sensational win over Bournemouth last time out, but Fulham should be too strong at the Cottage.

Since a 4-1 defeat at Coventry City, Fulham have bounced back by taking 21 points from 21 on offer. Last Saturday, Marco Silva’s men eased past Barnsley at Craven Cottage. Derby have not had a lot to shout about this season, but Sunday’s home win over Bournemouth – who were top at the start of the weekend – was certainly the highlight. Unfortunately for Wayne Rooney and his men, we can see Fulham cruising to victory at the Cottage. Back the home team to win both halves at odds of 7/4.

24th Nov 2021

19:45 - Millwall v Bournemouth

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

On Wednesday night, Gary Rowett’s Millwall welcome Scott Parker’s Bournemouth to The Den for an EFL Championship game. After Sunday’s shock loss at Derby County, the Cherries will be hoping to get back to winning ways in this one. However, the Lions are a tough nut to crack, especially on their own patch. Who will come out on top in this tasty Championship clash at The Den?

Millwall have lost just four Championship games this season but have drawn eight times, with only bottom side Derby County drawing more. Bournemouth have had a little wobble in form in recent weeks having lost two of their past three matches. The Cherries will be desperate to return to winning ways, but we can see the duo playing out a score draw in the capital. The draw and both teams to score is priced at odds of 7/2.

24th Nov 2021

20:00 - Manchester City v PSG

Manchester City Win @ 7/10

Heavyweights Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain do battle in a mouth-watering UEFA Champions League match at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night. Man City are currently sitting pretty at the top of Group A on nine points, with PSG just a point behind in second. Paris won the reverse match in France but the Citizens are the favourites to seize revenge in this one.

Goals from Idrissa Gueye and Lionel Messi gave PSG a 2-0 win at the Parc des Princes back in September. Mauricio Pochettino’s men are the only unbeaten side in the group, though they have dropped points against Club Brugge and RB Leipzig. City have thumped Brugge home and away in their last two CL games, scoring nine and conceding two. With this one taking place at the Etihad, our money is going on the Man City win at odds of 7/10.

24th Nov 2021

20:00 - Liverpool v Porto

Liverpool to Win -2 Goals @ 11/2

Liverpool and Porto meet at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night. The Reds wiped the floor with the Portuguese side when they met in Portugal a couple of months back, and the Premier League outfit will be looking for another easy victory in this one. As you would expect, Liverpool are the red-hot favourites to get the three points.

Jurgen Klopp’s men bounced back from their first defeat of the season with an emphatic 4-0 win over Arsenal at the weekend. They also won by four against Porto earlier in the campaign, with Mohamed Salah (2), Roberto Firmino (2) and Sadio Mane on target in a 5-1 victory at the Estadio do Dragao. Liverpool are safely through, but we fancy the Merseysiders to pick up another big victory in midweek. As such, we’ll be putting some money on the hosts to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 11/2.

25th Nov 2021

17:45 - Bayer Leverkusen v Celtic

Bayer Leverkusen to Win -1 Goal @ 6/5

Ange Postecoglou takes his Celtic side to the BayArena in Germany this Thursday to face Gerardo Seoane’s Bayer Leverkusen in a vital UEFA Europa League Group G game. After back-to-back wins over Ferencvarosi, the Hoops are still in with a chance of finishing in the top two of the group. Can the Glasgow club pick up a positive result in Leverkusen in midweek?

Bayer taught Celtic a footballing lesson when these two teams clashed at Celtic Park a couple of months back. Leverkusen ran riot in front of 55,000 fans in Glasgow, with Piero Hincapie, Florian Wirtz, Lucas Alario and Amine Adli scoring in a 4-0 rout. Unfortunately for Celtic, we can see the Bundesliga outfit sealing another easy victory here. Putting some money on Leverkusen to win with a -1 goal handicap could be a smart move at odds of 6/5.

25th Nov 2021

17:45 - Rapid Vienna v West Ham

West Ham United HT/FT @ 7/5

David Moyes’ West Ham United are in Austria this Thursday, taking on Rapid Vienna in UEFA Europa League action. The Hammers have been superb in Group H so far, taking 10 points from a possible 12. Can West Ham see the job through and book their place in the last 16 with three points in the Allianz Stadion on Thursday?

West Ham eased past Rapid Vienna when the two locked horns at the London Stadium in late September, with Declan Rice and Said Benrahma on target in a 2-0 success. The Irons have been very easy on the eye this season, and we fancy Moyes’ men to secure a fourth Europa League win in style on Thursday. Take a punt on United to be winning at half time and full time at a fair price of 7/5.

25th Nov 2021

17:45 - Mura v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -2 Goals @ 7/5

Tottenham Hotspur are in UEFA Europa Conference League action this Thursday when they travel to Maribor in Slovenia to play Mura. Antonio Conte’s men are in second spot in Group G, three points behind Rennes. After the match with Mura, Spurs end the group with a home fixture against Rennes in December. The Lilywhites will be hoping to finish with two wins from two.

Mura have struggled in Group G, suffering four losses and already being eliminated from the competition. Tottenham picked up an easy 5-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the reverse fixture back in September, with England captain Harry Kane helping himself to a hat-trick. We fancy the Premier League team to secure another big victory over the Slovenian side. Back Tottenham to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 7/5.

25th Nov 2021

20:00 - Leicester v Legia Warsaw

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Leicester City welcome Legia Warsaw to the King Power Stadium this Thursday in a vital UEFA Europa League group game. Group C is wide open with two matchdays to go, with just three points separating Napoli at the top to Spartak Moscow at the bottom. The Foxes would leapfrog the Polish side with three points on home soil and that’s exactly what the English side will be aiming for here.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have had an indifferent European campaign so far, winning one, losing one and drawing two. They were beaten out in Warsaw in September, with Mahir Emreli scoring the only goal of the game. This could be another tight and tense European night at the King Power, but we fancy the Premier League side to get the job done on home turf. As such we’ll be backing Leicester to win by one goal at odds of 3/1.

25th Nov 2021

20:00 - Rangers v Sparta Prague

Rangers Win @ 17/20

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is the new man in charge at Ibrox after the departure of Steven Gerrard, who left to take over at Aston Villa. The Dutchman will be hoping to get off to a winning start in the UEFA Europa League when Sparta Prague make the trip to Glasgow on Thursday. The Gers would move into second spot in the table with a home win.

After starting with two defeats, Rangers’ Europa League campaign has come alive in the last two games, as they have taken four points from a possible six. After a 2-0 home win over Brondby, the Scottish champions drew 1-1 with the Danish club last time out. Three points would put Rangers in a great position in the group ahead of their final game with Lyon. We are backing the Gers to get the victory on their own patch at odds of 17/20.

26th Nov 2021

20:00 - West Brom v Nottingham Forest

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

West Bromwich Albion and Nottingham Forest lock horns at The Hawthorns in the EFL Championship this Friday night. The Baggies are without a win in three games, while Forest have drawn four of their previous five. Both teams will be looking for maximum points from this tasty Friday night clash, though the hosts are the clear favourites with the bookies.

Valerien Ismael’s West Brom have been in patchy form of late, winning three, drawing two and losing four of their last nine league games. Nottingham Forest have been a tough nut to crack under Steve Cooper, with only Fulham finding a way to beat them. They may have drawn four of five, but the Reds would certainly take a point at The Hawthorns. Check out the solid price of 4/1 for the draw and both teams to score in what should be an entertaining game.

27th Nov 2021

12:30 - Preston North End v Fulham

Fulham to Win to Nil @ 9/4

Frankie McAvoy’s Preston North End and Marco Silva’s Fulham go head-to-head at Deepdale in the EFL Championship on Saturday afternoon. After coming from behind to beat Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium in midweek, the Lilywhites will fancy their chances in this one. However, leaders Fulham head to Lancashire as the bookies’ favourites.

The Cottagers finally dropped points last time out, drawing 0-0 at home with Wayne Rooney’s Derby County, who prop up the Championship table. Prior to that, Silva’s side had won seven in a row to fire themselves to the top of the tree. Fulham had an off day on Wednesday, but we are backing the leaders to strike back in style at the weekend. The Londoners’ last three away victories have come with clean sheets and we’ll be backing Fulham to win to nil here at odds of 9/4.

28th Nov 2021

12:30 - Sheffield United v Bristol City

Draw & BTTS @ 9/2

Sunday’s game in the EFL Championship comes from Bramall Lane, as Slavisa Jokanovic Sheffield United and Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City go head-to-head. The pair have had poor seasons up until now, but both picked up vital 1-0 victories in midweek. Can one of these kick on and secure back-to-back wins? The Blades are the odds-on favourites with the bookies.

After collecting just one point from a possible nine, Wednesday’s 1-0 home win over Stoke City was just what the doctor ordered for Pearson and his Robins. As for Sheffield United, their 1-0 success at Reading stopped a run of four games without victory. Both teams will be desperate for the points, but we fancy the pair to cancel each other out in Sheffield. Check out the draw and both teams to score at a fair price of 9/2.

27th Nov 2021

12:30 - Arsenal v Newcastle United

Arsenal HT/FT @ 5/4

Arsenal and Newcastle United do battle at the Emirates Stadium in the first Premier League game of the weekend. The Gunners will be hoping to bounce back from their sobering loss at Anfield last week. As for the Magpies, they started life under Eddie Howe with a 3-3 home draw with Brentford. Arsenal are the clear favourites in this one as they attempt to break into the top four in the table.

Before last Saturday’s trip to Liverpool, Arsenal had won eight and drawn two of their last 10 league and cup games. However, they were poor at Anfield, crashing to a heavy 4-0 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s men. Newcastle drew but fell to the foot of the table after Norwich City’s win. Arsenal should get back to winning ways here and there is good value in the odds of 5/4 for Mikel Arteta’s boys to be winning at half time full time.

15:00 - Liverpool v Southampton

Liverpool to Win Both Halves @ 13/8

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton go head-to-head at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. After suffering their first loss of the season before the international break, the Reds struck back with a thumping 4-0 home win over Arsenal last weekend. Will the Merseysiders rack up another three points on Saturday?

Liverpool were in red-hot form against the Gunners last Saturday, with Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino netting in the 4-0 rout. They followed that up with a comfortable 2-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Porto in midweek. Liverpool should have no problems against the Saints, who lost 2-1 against Norwich City at Carrow Road last time out. We like the look of the price of 13/8 for the home team to win both halves of this one.

27th Nov 2021

17:30 - Brighton v Leeds United

Draw @ 12/5

On Saturday evening in the Premier League, Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United. After making a stunning start, the Seagulls have struggled for wins of late, while Leeds have picked up just two Premier League victories thus far. Who will come out on top in this vital fixture at the Amex Stadium?

Brighton have been tough to beat this season, losing only three of their opening 12 league fixtures. Just Everton, Manchester City and Aston Villa have beaten Potter’s men in Premier League action. Leeds’ season hasn't really taken off just yet, as United hover just two points above the drop zone after taking a mere 11 points from a possible 36. This is a tough one to call and could feasibly go either way but we fancy the sides to cancel one another out, so put your money on the draw at odds of 12/5.

28th Nov 2021

14:00 - Brentford v Everton

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Brentford and Everton meet at the Brentford Community Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon in a game both will be more than eager to win. With both teams in very poor form of late, this is a massive game for the pair. The Bees picked up a point last weekend after four straight league defeats. As for the Toffees, they head to London having drawn two and lost four of their last six league games.

Brentford made an excellent start to life in the Premier League, losing just one of their opening seven matches. However, they then suffered four successive defeats to drop down the table at an alarming rate of knots. They did manage to draw 3-3 at Newcastle United last weekend. Rafa Benitez is having a tough time at Goodison Park, with Everton failing to win in six games. This could go either way, but we are backing the draw and both teams to score here at odds of 10/3.

28th Nov 2021

14:00 - Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur Win @ 21/20

Antonio Conte takes his Tottenham Hotspur troops to Turf Moor this Sunday to face Sean Dyche’s Burnley in the Premier League. Conte has taken four points from two league games so far. The Clarets have struggled to get going this season and Spurs will be targeting all three points from the weekend’s trip to Lancashire.

Burnley are in the bottom three right now having taken only nine points from their opening 12 matches. The Clarets have picked up just one league win but Dyche’s troops have lost only one of their past seven in the Premier League and there are at least signs of a turnaround in fortunes. After a draw with Everton and a narrow win over Leeds United, Conte will be hoping his Spurs side make it seven points from nine on Sunday. We think they’ll get the job done so we’ll be putting some money on the Tottenham win at the decent price of 21/20.

28th Nov 2021

14:00 - Manchester City v West Ham United

Manchester City to Win -2 @ 15/8

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City welcome David Moyes’ West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this Sunday. The Citizens have responded expertly well from that shock defeat to Crystal Palace, beating Club Brugge, Manchester United, Everton and Paris Saint-Germain in their following four games. Can Guardiola’s boys make it five wins on the spin this weekend?

West Ham are having another exceptional season under Moyes and they are currently in amongst the Champions League places towards the top of the table. However, the Hammers were beaten at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, which was just their third Premier League loss of the campaign. Unfortunately for the Londoners, we can see them losing again this Sunday. The Citizens have looked much more like their usual selves lately, and the champions should claim an easy home victory here. Back Man City to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 15/8.

28th Nov 2021

16:30 - Chelsea v Manchester United

Chelsea to Win to Nil @ 7/4

Chelsea and Manchester United meet in a heavyweight Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge this Sunday. Thomas Tuchel’s men have been dazzling of late, sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table after nine wins from their opening 12 games. The Blues also thumped Italian giants Juventus in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Chelsea will take some stopping in this one.

Interim manager Michael Carrick got off to a winning start in midweek, guiding Man United to a Champions League victory at Villarreal. However, Sunday’s showdown at the Bridge will be a far greater task for the Red Devils. Chelsea have been superb so far this season, winning without conceding on a staggering 12 occasions across all competitions. You can get the top price of 7/4 for the home side to win to nil on Sunday.

29th Nov 2021

19:45 - Derby v QPR

Draw @ 12/5

The final fixture of matchday 20 in the EFL Championship takes place on Monday night when Wayne Rooney’s Derby County welcome Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers to Pride Park. Derby are having their problems off the pitch but have just taken four points from games against Bournemouth and Fulham in their last two. Can the Rams pick up another positive result on Monday as they attempt to claw their way out of the relegation zone?

Last weekend, County stunned Bournemouth at Pride Park, coming from 2-1 down to secure an excellent 3-2 home win. Rooney’s men followed that up with a superb 0-0 draw with high-flying Fulham at Craven Cottage in midweek. QPR have had a great season so far, winning nine of 19, but we are backing Derby to hold them to a draw at Pride Park. You can get decent odds of 12/5 for the Rams to draw for the 11th time in this season’s Championship.

30th Nov 2021

19:30 - Newcastle United v Norwich City

Newcastle United to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Newcastle United and Norwich City go head-to-head at St James’ Park this Tuesday in a huge game in the context of the Premier League relegation battle. The Magpies are still searching for their first victory of the season after six draws and seven defeats from their opening 13 matches. The Canaries, meanwhile, are unbeaten in three having won two and drawn one. Which way will this basement battle go?

Eddie Howe has started life at Newcastle with a draw and a defeat. As for Dean Smith, he has taken four points from his opening two matches as Norwich boss. This relegation six-pointer could go either way, but we are backing Howe’s troops to make home advantage count on Tuesday. It could be close on the scoreline, so take a punt on the Magpies to win by one goal at odds of 11/4.

30th Nov 2021

20:15 - Leeds United v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Win & BTTS @ 9/2

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United take on Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Tuesday in the Premier League. Leeds could do with a victory having won only two of their opening 13 league matches, a run of results that has left them teetering dangerously above the relegation zone. However, Palace have been tough to beat since Vieira arrived, and the Eagles will fancy their chances in Yorkshire.

Leeds hover just three points above 18th-placed Burnley after collecting a mere 12 points so far. Crystal Palace were beaten at home by Aston Villa last time out, but the Eagles have not been an easy nut to crack under their new boss and they have lost just three times in the league. We fancy the London side to return to the capital with a big three points in the bag. As such, we’ll be taking a punt on the away win and both teams to score at odds of 9/2.

1st Dec 2021

19:30 - Southampton v Leicester City

Leicester City Win @ 9/5

Southampton and Leicester City meet at St Mary’s in Premier League action on Wednesday night. After their 4-2 win over Watford at the weekend, the Foxes will be gunning for back-to-back victories. As for the Saints, they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat. The home team are the slight favourites in this one but it will not be an easy evening for either side.

Southampton have just had a week to forget – after suffering a poor 2-1 loss at Norwich City, the Saints crashed to a sobering 4-0 loss at Anfield last time out. In contrast, things are starting to look more positive for Leicester, who beat Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Europa League before seeing off Watford in the league. We are backing Brendan Rodgers’ troops to make it three in a row on Tuesday, and the away win is priced at odds of 9/5.

1st Dec 2021

19:30 - Watford v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win Both Halves @ 2/1

Premier League leaders Chelsea make the trip to Vicarage Road this Wednesday to face Watford. After dropping points at home at the weekend, Thomas Tuchel’s Blues will be hoping to get back to winning ways here. As you would expect, the European champions are the odds-on favourites with the bookies.

Since taking over at Vicarage Road, Claudio Ranieri has won two and lost four of their last six matches. Last time out, the Hornets were beaten 4-2 at Leicester City. Chelsea were held to a 1-1 home draw by Manchester United in their last game, but Tuchel’s men head to Vicarage Road in stunning form. The Premier League leaders should bounce back with an easy away win on Wednesday. Put some money on the Blues to win both halves of this one at the top odds of 2/1.

1st Dec 2021

19:30 - West Ham United v Brighton & Hove Albion

West Ham United to Win -1 @ 9/4

David Moyes’ West Ham United welcome Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion to the London Stadium for a Premier League fixture on Wednesday night. The Hammers are enjoying another fine season, but they will be hoping to hit back after defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City in their last two. The hosts are the clear favourites here and we can’t see any other outcome.

Despite the recent losses, West Ham are still sitting pretty in fourth place in the table and they are clearly punching above their weight. Brighton started their season like a house on fire, but Potter’s side have not won a game in the Premier League since seeing off Leicester City at home on 19th September. The Irons will be targeting all three points from this one, and there is good value in the odds of 9/4 for the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap.

1st Dec 2021

19:30 - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Burnley

Wolverhampton Wanderers to Win to Nil @ 15/8

Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sean Dyche’s Burnley square off at Molineux this Wednesday in the Premier League. Wolves head into this home match on an impressive run having won five of their last eight games. The Clarets are in the drop zone right now, and Wolves are the clear favourites in this one. Can Lage’s men secure a fourth straight home win in midweek?

Wanderers kicked off their league campaign with three consecutive home losses, crashing to defeats to Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Brentford. However, they have secured successive home victories over Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United in their last three at Molineux. Wolves kept a clean sheet against the Hammers in the last one, winning 1-0. You can get a nice price of 15/8 for the hosts to win to nil on Wednesday.

1st Dec 2021

20:15 - Aston Villa v Manchester City

Manchester City HT/FT @ 20/21

Steven Gerrard has made a stunning start to life at Aston Villa, guiding the Villans to two wins from his first two matches in charge. On Wednesday, however, Villa welcome in-form Manchester City to Villa Park in the Premier League. Can Gerrard’s boys stop Pep Guardiola’s champions in their tracks in midweek?

After starting life at Villa Park with a 2-0 home win over Brighton and Hove Albion, which stopped a run on five straight defeats, Gerrard guided the Midlands club to a 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace last Saturday. Man City have won five league and cup matches in a row since that shock home reverse to Palace in October. Villa will have a go, but City should be too strong at Villa Park. Check out the decent price of 20/21 for the Citizens to be winning at half time and full time.

1st Dec 2021

20:15 - Everton v Liverpool

Liverpool to Win to Nil @ 6/4

Everton and Liverpool lock horns at Goodison Park on Wednesday night for the first Premier League Merseyside derby of the season. The pressure is mounting on former Reds boss Rafa Benitez, as the Toffees lost again at the weekend. Everton won the last meeting between the two, but Jurgen Klopp’s boys are the clear favourites in this one.

After making a promising start to life at Everton, things have gone downhill rapidly for Rafa. The Toffees have lost five and drawn two of their last seven matches in the Premier League, dropping down to 14th place in the table as a result. Liverpool have bounced back from the West Ham United defeat with back-to-back 4-0 home league wins over Arsenal and Southampton. The Reds have won without conceding on 12 occasions across all competitions this term and we’ll be backing the visitors to win to nil here at odds of 6/4.

2nd Dec 2021

19:30 - Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Frank’s Brentford meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Thursday night in the Premier League. New Spurs boss Conte has taken four points from his two Premier League games, but Tottenham suffered a shock UEFA Europa Conference League defeat to Mura in their last match. The Lilywhites will be desperate to bounce back with three league points from this one.

Tottenham beat Leeds United in their last Premier League fixture, coming from behind to win 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. After taking just one point from a possible 15, Brentford secured a much-needed win over Everton last time out. Unfortunately for the Bees, we fancy Tottenham in this one. Check out the decent odds of 11/4 for the home win and both teams to score in what we think will be a high-scoring encounter.

2nd Dec 2021

20:15 - Manchester United v Arsenal

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Old rivals Manchester United and Arsenal do battle at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Thursday night. New Man United boss Ralf Rangnick would love to get off to a winning start, but Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have been tough to beat in recent months. This fascinating Premier League fixture could go either way at the Theatre of Dreams, although United are the favourites with the bookies.

The Red Devils are in desperate need of an upswing in fortunes, as they have failed to win any of their previous four league games at Old Trafford. However, they did hold Premier League leaders Chelsea to a draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Meanwhile, Arsenal bounced back from the Liverpool defeat with a 2-0 home victory over Newcastle United last weekend. We can see these two sides cancelling one another out and we fancy the draw and both teams to score which is priced at odds of 7/2.

3rd Dec 2021

19:45 - Fulham v Bournemouth

Draw @ 13/5

Marco Silva’s Fulham and Scott Parker’s Bournemouth meet in an EFL Championship cracker at Craven Cottage on Friday night. The pair are the current top two in the division, with the Cottagers a point above the Cherries at the summit. These two are potential title rivals this season, but who will come out on top in this huge matchup at the Cottage?

After seven straight Championship wins, Fulham have drawn their last two games. Bournemouth have also drawn two in a row, letting a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 at home with Coventry City last time out. The Cherries have picked up just one win from their last five league fixtures, and Friday’s game in the capital is arguably their toughest challenge of the season yet. However, we fancy the visitors to battle to a draw which is available to back at odds of 13/5.

3rd Dec 2021

19:45 - Gateshead v Charlton Athletic

Charlton Athletic to Win to Nil @ 15/8

In the FA Cup on Friday night, National League North side Gateshead welcome EFL League One outfit Charlton Athletic to the Gateshead International Stadium. The Addicks thumped Havant and Waterlooville 4-0 in the previous round, but this has the potential to be a tougher test for the London club. Still, Athletic are the odds-on favourites with the bookies.

Gateshead have needed replays to win the two previous FA Cup ties. They beat Marske United before seeing off Altrincham in the first round proper. As we touched on, Charlton eased past Havant and Waterlooville in round one, with Jayden Stockley (2), Josh Davison and Mason Burstow getting the goals. The margin of victory may not be quite as handsome, but we are backing the Addicts to do the business in Gateshead on Friday night and we’ll be putting some money on the away team to win to nil at a price of 15/8.
