Football Tips – February 2022

4th Feb 2022

19:45 - Birmingham v Sheffield United

Sheffield United to Win -1 Goal @ 3/1

The FA Cup takes centre stage this weekend, but we also have four EFL Championship fixtures to look forward to. The action in the second tier begins on Friday night, as Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham City entertain Paul Heckingbottom’s Sheffield United. The Blades are in good form and will be gunning for a third straight Championship victory.

Last time out, Birmingham squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Derby County at Pride Park. As for Sheffield United, they won 2-0 at Peterborough United. United have shown a big improvement of late, picking up six wins from their past eight Championship encounters. The last two have been 2-0 victories, and we fancy the Blades to win by a margin in Birmingham. Put some money on the away win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 3/1.

4th Feb 2022

20:00 - Manchester United v Middlesbrough

Manchester United to Win to Nil @ Evens

The FA Cup weekend gets up and running on Friday night when Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United welcome Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United to Old Trafford. The Red Devils have been solid under Rangnick, suffering just one defeat so far. Boro are fine fettle in the EFL Championship right now, but United are the red-hot favourites to get the victory in this one.

Since Rangnick took over, Man United have won six, drawn three and lost one of their 10 league and cup fixtures. Since suffering a 1-0 home league reverse to Wolverhampton Wanderers a month back, they have bounced back with three wins and a draw. The Red Devils have kept six clean sheets in their last nine wins in all competitions, and you can get the decent price of evens for United to win to nil again.

5th Feb 2022

12:30 - Chelsea v Plymouth

Chelsea to Win Both Halves @ 4/6

Premier League giants Chelsea welcome EFL League One promotion hopefuls Plymouth Argyle to Stamford Bridge for a fourth-round tie in the FA Cup this Saturday. The Blues reached the final of this competition last season and lost out to Leicester City – can they go one better this term? Thomas Tuchel’s troops should be far too strong for their League One guests at the weekend.

Although Chelsea have had a slump in form of late, the London side have been incredibly hard to beat at the Bridge this season, with just Manchester City winning on their patch. The Blues made light work of Chesterfield in the previous round, thumping the National League side 5-1. We fancy Chelsea to pick up another easy victory here, so take a punt on the hosts to win both halves at odds of 4/6.

5th Feb 2022

12:30 - Kidderminster v West Ham

West Ham United HT/FT @ 4/5

National League North side Kidderminster Harriers take on Premier League West Ham United in the fourth round of the FA Cup this Saturday. Kiddy are having a good season in the league and beat EFL Championship Reading in the previous round of the cup. However, David Moyes’ Hammers head to Aggborough Stadium as the clear favourites with the bookies.

Kidderminster stunned the Royals in round three, coming from behind with two late goals to secure a memorable 2-1 victory. Before that, Harriers had seen off Bedfont Sports, Grimsby Town and Halifax Town in the FA Cup. West Ham beat Leeds United 2-0 at the London Stadium in the third round, and the Irons should have too much quality for Kiddy to handle here. Take a punt on the visitors to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 4/5.

5th Feb 2022

15:00 - Manchester City v Fulham

Manchester City to Win -2 Goals @ 20/21

The Premier League and the EFL Championship leaders do battle in the FA Cup this Saturday, as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City welcome Marco Silva’s Fulham to the Etihad Stadium. Man City, who are the FA Cup holders, have been in devastating form over the past couple of months, and the Premier League champions will be looking for a comfortable cup win at the weekend.

City were held to a 1-1 draw at Southampton before the break, but the Manchester giants had won eight games in a row before that. Their last domestic defeat came against Crystal Palace in October. Fulham are going great guns in the Championship, but Man City will no doubt be too hot to handle at the Etihad. Check out the solid odds of 20/21 for the hosts to win with a -2 goal handicap as they brush their opponents aside.

5th Feb 2022

17:30 - Cambridge v Luton

Cambridge United to Win by One Goal @ 4/1

Rivals Cambridge United and Luton Town lock horns at the Abbey Stadium in the FA Cup this Saturday. The home side are currently 13th in EFL League One, while the Hatters are sitting pretty in ninth spot in the EFL Championship. In-form Luton make the trip to Cambridge as the favourites to book their place in round five.

Mark Bonner’s U’s, who were promoted from EFL League Two last term, are having a steady season in the third tier. A 2-0 loss at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday was their first league defeat since 18th December. In the previous round of the cup, Cambridge claimed a stunning 1-0 win at Premier League side Newcastle United. Luton are in excellent form, but we are backing the hosts to nick a narrow victory on home soil – Cambridge are priced at odds of 4/1 to win by one goal, which looks a decent option to us.

5th Feb 2022

17:30 - Swansea v Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers to Win 2-1 @ 10/1

In the EFL Championship on Saturday, Russell Martin’s struggling Swansea City welcome Tony Mowbray’s promotion-chasing Blackburn Rovers to the Swansea.com Stadium. After suffering a poor 1-0 home defeat to Luton Town in midweek, the Swans will be desperate to bounce back in this one. Despite being miles behind Rovers in the table, Swansea are the slight favourites.

The Welsh club have won just one of their previous eight games in the Championship, suffering five defeats along the way. In contrast, Blackburn have lost only one league match in over two months. Rovers edged the meeting at Ewood Park on the opening weekend of the season, with Sam Gallagher and Ben Brereton on target in the 2-1 success. A repeat 2-1 Blackburn win this Saturday is available at the generous odds of 10/1.

5th Feb 2022

18:00 - Burnley v Watford

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Burnley and Watford go head-to-head in a crucial Premier League fixture at Turf Moor on Saturday evening. Having taken over from the sacked Claudio Ranieri, this will be Roy Hodgson’s first game in charge of the Hornets. The Clarets are bottom of the Premier League table as things stand but they have games in hand, while Watford are just two points above in 19th position in the standings.

Burnley have had a poor season, to say the least, picking up just a solitary victory from 18 league fixtures. As for the Hornets, no club in England’s top tier has suffered more defeats than their 14 to date. Both sides will be desperate for all three points as they fight for survival, but Saturday’s showdown in Lancashire is a tough one to call. With that in mind, our money is going on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 7/2, a result that is unlikely to please either set of fans.

5th Feb 2022

20:00 - Tottenham v Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion meet in an all-Premier League FA Cup tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night. Conte has done a good job at Spurs so far, but the Lilywhites head into this one having lost three of their last five matches (all to Chelsea, incidentally). Can they get back to winning ways this weekend?

Tottenham and Brighton have yet to meet in the Premier League this season. Last term, Spurs won 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November 2020, while the Seagulls got revenge with a 1-0 victory at the Amex Stadium in January 2021. Albion have certainly given Tottenham problems in recent years, but we fancy Conte’s men to get the victory on home turf this Saturday. There is good value in the odds of 3/1 for the Spurs win and both teams to score in this one.

6th Feb 2022

12:00 - Liverpool v Cardiff

Liverpool HT/FT @ 8/13

Liverpool welcome Cardiff City to Anfield this Sunday in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The Reds are unbeaten at home since suffering a shock Premier League loss to Fulham way back in March 2021. The Bluebirds have had a tough season in the EFL Championship, though Steve Morison’s men have won their last two and they’ll at least give it a good go at Anfield.

Since losing to West Ham United in early November, Liverpool have gone on to win eight of their following 11 Premier League matches. In the previous round of the FA Cup, the Merseysiders cruised to a 4-1 win over Shrewsbury Town, with Fabinho helping himself to a brace. The Reds should be too strong for the Welsh side on Sunday, and we like the look of the odds of 8/13 for the hosts to be winning at half time and full time.

6th Feb 2022

16:00 - Nottingham Forest v Leicester

Leicester City to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City clash at the City Ground in a tasty FA Cup tie on Sunday afternoon. The FA Cup holders are the favourites to get the win at evens, though Forest have been a tough nut to crack since Cooper took over. This all-Midlands affair could go either way at the City Ground.

Forest lost at Cardiff City in the Championship in their last outing, but the Reds had won four league and cup games on the spin before that. In the previous round of the FA Cup, they stunned Premier League side Arsenal. The Foxes began the defence of their crown with an easy 4-1 win over Watford and they were good value for that victory. This could be a tight tie and one goal could be enough to nick it. Take a punt on Leicester to win by one goal at odds of 11/4.

6th Feb 2022

18:30 - Bournemouth v Boreham Wood

Bournemouth to Win to Nil @ 4/5

EFL Championship side Bournemouth entertain National League club Boreham Wood at the Vitality Stadium in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday evening. The Cherries are fighting for promotion to the Premier League this term, currently sitting in third spot in the EFL Championship on 52 points. As for the visitors, they are in the playoffs in the National League as things stand.

Luke Garrard and his Boreham Wood side will no doubt enjoy the occasion at the Vitality, but this will be a tough task for the non-league outfit. Bournemouth have been in patchy form of late, but they did secure a vital victory over Barnsley last time out. Scott Parker’s men have won without conceding on 12 occasions across all competitions this season, and you can get the decent price of 4/5 for the Cherries to win to nil again on Sunday.

8th Feb 2022

19:45 - Newcastle v Everton

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Newcastle United and Everton do battle in a huge Premier League game at St James’ Park on Tuesday night. The Magpies are in 19th place in the table with just 15 points to their name, with the Toffees four points above in 16th position. After guiding Everton to a big win over Brentford in the FA Cup at the weekend, can Frank Lampard get off to winning start in the Premier League?

Newcastle have picked up just two Premier League victories this season and have spent pretty much the entire campaign in the bottom three. Everton have been in dreadful form over the past few months, claiming just one Premier League win since September. Both teams would love maximum points here, but not losing is the most important thing. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 10/3.

8th Feb 2022

19:45 - West Ham v Watford

West Ham United to Win -1 Goal @ 11/10

West Ham United take on Watford at the London Stadium on Tuesday night in the Premier League. Roy Hodgson started life with the Hornets with an away draw at Burnley at the weekend. As for the Hammers, they snuck past National League North side Kidderminster Harriers in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Can West Ham get back to winning ways in the league after two straight defeats?

David Moyes’ United are having another exceptional season in the Premier League as they hunt down a UEFA Champions League place. The Irons are in fifth spot at present, a point behind fourth. In contrast, Watford are in 18th position on a mere 15 points. After league losses to Leeds United and Manchester United, we fancy West Ham to return to winning ways in midweek. Put some money on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 11/10.

8th Feb 2022

19:45 - Derby v Hull

Derby County Win @ 11/8

Derby County and Hull City meet at Pride Park on Tuesday in the EFL Championship. The Rams have given themselves a fighting chance in the fight for survival after a good run of form of late, and victory in midweek could close the gap on Reading to just four points. As for the Tigers, they have moved 12 points clear of 22nd position after recent results.

Derby have lost two of their last three games and have taken just one point from a possible nine, but the Rams had won four and drawn one of their last five games. Hull won three in a row to move well clear of the bottom three, but Shota Arveladze’s boys were beaten at home by Preston North End last time out. Derby have won four of their past six matches at home, and the hosts are priced at odds of 11/8 to prevail here.

8th Feb 2022

19:45 - Fulham v Millwall

Fulham HT/FT @ 20/21

London clubs Fulham and Millwall go head-to-head at Craven Cottage in EFL Championship action on Tuesday night. With their four-game winning streak coming to an end at the hands of Blackpool last Saturday, Marco Silva’s men will be gunning for all three points in front of their home supporters in midweek. The Cottagers are the clear favourites at a short price of 1/3.

Fulham are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table with 58 points to their name. After Blackburn Rovers’ loss at Swansea City last weekend, the Cottagers remain five points clear of second place. Silva’s troops have been in stunning form of late, and we fancy Fulham to pick up a routine home win in this one. Put some money on the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at the decent price of 20/21.

8th Feb 2022

19:45 - Stoke v Swansea

Draw & Under 2.5 Goals @ 11/4

Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City and Russell Martin’s Swansea City lock horns at the bet365 Stadium in the EFL Championship on Tuesday. The Potters have been on a poor run of form of late, losing four of their last six games in the Championship. The Swans secured a much-needed three points last time out – can the Welsh side follow that up with another vital victory in midweek?

Stoke have struggled in the league lately, but they did book their spot in round five of the FA Cup with a good home win over in-form Wigan Athletic last weekend. As for Swansea, they beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0 at the Swansea.com Stadium in the Championship. This is a tough one to call, so our money is going on the stalemate. The draw and under 2.5 goals is available at decent odds of 11/4.

8th Feb 2022

20:00 - Burnley v Manchester United

Manchester United to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Ralf Rangnick takes his Manchester United troops to Turf Moor this Tuesday to face Burnley in a Premier League encounter. After being knocked out of the FA Cup at home by EFL Championship side Middlesbrough last time out, Rangnick will be looking for a big reaction from his players in this one. United are the odds-on favourites with the bookies to get the victory.

Sean Dyche’s Clarets are having a tough season in the Premier League, to say the least, and have picked up just one league victory from their 19 matches. They have games in hand on their relegation rivals, but the Lancashire club are rooted to the foot of the table as things stand. Man United broke into the top four with a narrow win over West Ham United before the break and we can see something similar occurring in this match. As such we’ll be backing the Red Devils to win by one goal again at odds of 5/2.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Manchester City v Brentford

Manchester City to Win Both Halves @ 5/6

Runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City welcome struggling Brentford to the Etihad Stadium this Wednesday in a Premier League fixture. The Citizens are in stunning form, and Pep Guardiola’s boys will be looking for another comfortable home victory here. The bookies have City as the overwhelming 1/10 favourites to get the win from this one.

Man City have dropped just two points since suffering a shock home reverse to Crystal Palace back in October. Before the break, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton held them to a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s, so the champions will want to strike back here. Thomas Frank’s side have lost four in a row and could be in for a tough evening in Manchester. The hosts will be looking to dominate from start to finish, so check out the solid odds of 5/6 for Man City to win both halves of this one.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Tottenham v Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur entertain Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League in midweek. The Saints did remarkably well to hold champions and leaders Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s two weeks ago, but Spurs are the odds-on favourites in this one. Can Conte’s Tottenham get back to winning ways in the league after the Chelsea defeat?

The Lilywhites bounced back with a 3-1 home victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup last weekend. Conte has a good record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since taking over, guiding the London club to eight wins from 10 league and cup home games. Spurs should see off Southampton here, and there is good value in the odds of 6/4 for the home team to win with a -1 goal handicap.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Norwich v Crystal Palace

Norwich City Win @ 5/2

Norwich City will be hoping to continue their recent revival with three points against Crystal Palace at Carrow Road in midweek. Dean Smith’s Canaries have moved out of the Premier League’s bottom three after back-to-back wins over Everton and Watford. Palace will not be an easy nut to crack in Norfolk, but can Norwich secure another precious three points?

Smith has done a fine job at Carrow Road since taking over back in November. Norwich head into this vital Premier League fixture having won four of their past five league and cup matches. Last weekend, a Kenny McLean goal gave City a 1-0 FA Cup win at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Eagles cruised to victory in the reverse game, but we fancy in-form Norwich in this one – the home win is priced at odds of 5/2 which offers just enough value to tempt us.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Blackburn v Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest Win @ 11/5

The standout midweek fixture in the EFL Championship comes from Ewood Park on Wednesday, as Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers entertain Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest. Rovers are second right now, while Forest are two points behind sixth in eighth place. After their stunning FA Cup win over holders Leicester City last time out, can Cooper’s Forest claim another victory here?

Blackburn have been in incredible form over the past few months, but Mowbray’s men have lost two of their last four games in the league. Last Saturday, Rovers were narrowly beaten at Swansea City. Despite losing at Cardiff City in their last league game, Nottingham Forest have had a sensational 2022 so far, winning five of their six matches and knocking Arsenal and Leicester out of the FA Cup. The Forest win on Wednesday is available at a fair price of 11/5.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Bournemouth v Birmingham

Bournemouth HT/FT @ 7/5

After their shock FA Cup loss against non-league outfit Boreham Wood on Sunday, Scott Parker’s Bournemouth will be desperate to bounce back with a league win when they host Birmingham City in the EFL Championship on Wednesday night. The Cherries have lost three of their past four games in all competitions but are the clear favourites at the Vitality Stadium.

After back-to-back league losses to Luton Town and Hull City, Bournemouth secured a much-needed 1-0 victory at Barnsley in their last league encounter. The FA Cup defeat will have seriously hurt, but Bournemouth can now turn their full attention to winning promotion back to the Premier League. They should see off struggling Birmingham here, and we like the look of the odds of 7/5 for the hosts to be winning at half time and full time on Wednesday night.

9th Feb 2022

19:45 - Sheffield United v West Brom

Sheffield United to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

On Wednesday night in the EFL Championship, Paul Heckingbottom’s Sheffield United welcome Steve Bruce’s West Bromwich Albion to Bramall Lane. These two have been heading in opposite directions of late, and the in-form Blades are now just three points behind the out-of-sorts Baggies. Can United move level with the visitors with a midweek home win?

Sheffield United have really turned their fortunes around and have won seven of their last nine matches in the Championship to fire their way into the promotion picture. In contrast, West Brom have picked up just one victory from their last seven league games, and Valerien Ismael was sacked as a result. It could be a close one on Wednesday, but we are backing the hosts to nick it. Take a punt on Sheffield United to win by one goal at odds of 3/1.

9th Feb 2022

20:00 - Aston Villa v Leeds

Aston Villa to Win 1-0 @ 17/2

Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United to Villa Park in a big game in the Premier League on Wednesday night. After no wins in four games in all competitions, Gerrard’s boys picked up a priceless 1-0 away win at Everton in their last one. Can the Midlands outfit follow that up with another crucial three points in midweek?

Leeds have had a tough season up until now, but Bielsa’s troops did pick up an impressive 3-2 success at West Ham United in their last away game. However, they followed that up with a 1-0 home reverse to lowly Newcastle United last time out. Home advantage could be key here, and we are backing the Villans to nick a narrow victory. The 1-0 home win has caught the eye at attractive odds of 17/2.

10th Feb 2022

19:45 - Liverpool v Leicester

Liverpool Win & BTTS @ 11/8

At Anfield on Thursday night, Liverpool and Leicester City lock horns in Premier League action. The Reds are unbeaten at home in all competitions this season, though the Foxes ran out winners when they squared off in the reverse league fixture at the King Power Stadium in December. Liverpool are the red-hot favourites on home soil, but can Leicester spring a surprise?

Jurgen Klopp’s boys have been dominant at home this season. In fact, they have not lost at Anfield in any competition since being shocked by Fulham in the league last March. These two met in a thrilling Carabao Cup tie in Merseyside in December, with Liverpool winning on penalties after a 3-3 draw in normal time. The in-form Reds should prevail again, and we like the look of the home win and both teams to score at odds of 11/8.

10th Feb 2022

19:45 - Wolves v Arsenal

Draw & Under 2.5 Goals @ 11/4

Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the Premier League at Molineux this Thursday. Wolves are in excellent form right now, winning four and drawing one of their past five matches in the league. As for the Gunners, they have won four of their previous six Premier League games. This fascinating fixture could go either way at Molineux and it’s not an easy one to call.

Lage had a tough start in the West Midlands, but Wanderers have grown stronger and stronger under the Portuguese boss as the season has gone on. Wolves sit eighth on 34 points as things stand. Arsenal are also having a solid campaign, with the Gunners two points and two places above Wanderers in the current Premier League standings. The pair are hard to split, so our money is going on the stalemate. Check out the draw and under 2.5 goals at odds of 11/4.

12th Feb 2022

12:30 - Manchester United v Southampton

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United host Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton in Premier League action at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointing midweek draw with Burnley. As for the Saints, they beat Tottenham Hotspur in a thriller at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday. Can Southampton cause another upset on Saturday or will the home side prevail?

United have been tough to beat under Rangnick, losing just one Premier League game so far. Southampton have picked up a number of eye-catching results this season, drawing twice with Manchester City and holding Man United to a draw at St Mary’s in August. After the superb showing at Spurs, we fancy the Saints to pick up a point at Old Trafford this weekend. You can get odds of 4/1 for the draw and both teams to score.

12th Feb 2022

12:30 - Huddersfield v Sheffield United

Sheffield United to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Huddersfield Town and Sheffield United lock horns in a tasty all-Yorkshire EFL Championship affair at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers are in fifth position in the table right now, with the Blades just four points behind in tenth. Both teams are pushing for promotion to the Premier League, but will we see a winner here?

Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield are on a remarkable 11-game unbeaten run in the Championship, having won five and drawn six. Sheffield United are one of the form teams in the second tier, as the Blades have won eight of their past 10 games. This truly is a tough one to call, but we can see Paul Heckingbottom’s boys snatching all three points at the John Smith’s. The away win by one goal is nicely priced at odds of 11/4.

12th Feb 2022

15:00 - Everton v Leeds

Draw & Under 2.5 Goals @ 15/4

Everton and Leeds United meet in a massive Premier League fixture at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon. This will be Frank Lampard’s first home league game in charge of the Toffees. With Everton in currently residing in 16th spot in the table and Leeds occupying 15th position, both teams will be desperate for the points in this one. Being at home, the Merseysiders are the favourites with the bookies but it really could go either way.

Everton were beaten at Newcastle United on Tuesday in Lampard’s first league game in charge. As for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds, they were involved in a six-goal thriller against Aston Villa, leaving Villa Park with a point after a 3-3 draw. With both sides desperate not to lose, this could be a tight and tense game at Goodison. Check out the decent odds of 15/4 for the draw and under 2.5 goals.

12th Feb 2022

16:30 - Chelsea v Palmeiras

Chelsea HT/FT @ 7/4

Chelsea take on Brazilian side Palmeiras in the final of the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The Blues booked their place in the final with a narrow win over Al Hilal on Wednesday. Can Thomas Tuchel’s men get their hands on the Club World Cup trophy?

Romelu Lukaku netted the only goal of the game to give Chelsea a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal in the semi-finals in midweek. As for Palmeiras, they beat Egyptian side Al Ahly 2-0 in their semi. Chelsea are the red-hot favourites in this one, and Tuchel’s team should be too strong for Abel Ferreira’s men. We are backing a comfortable Chelsea win here, so take a punt on the Londoners to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 7/4.

12th Feb 2022

17:30 - Norwich v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win to Nil @ 4/5

Norwich City entertain Premier League champions Manchester City at Carrow Road on Saturday evening. The Canaries have improved lately and are unbeaten in three games in the league. However, getting anything from this weekend’s game against the runaway leaders will be a tall order for Dean Smith’s boys. Man City are the clear favourites at Carrow Road and there won’t be too many punters betting against them posting another victory.

After six straight league defeats, Norwich have taken seven points from their last three games. Having sealed wins over Everton and Watford, Smith’s side drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace in midweek. Man City are in devastating form and seem to be controlling games with relative ease. Since suffering a shock home reverse to Palace in October, Pep Guardiola’s men have won 13 of the following 14 matches in the league. The Citizens beat Brentford 2-0 in midweek, and we like the look of the odds of 4/5 for the leaders to win to nil again.

13th Feb 2022

13:00 - Swansea v Bristol City

1-1 Draw @ 11/2

The game in the EFL Championship on Sunday will take place in South Wales, as Swansea City entertain Bristol City at the Swansea.com Stadium. Russell Martin has had a tough first season in Wales, and the Swans head into this home match having lost seven of their last 11 in all competitions. Can the unpredictable Robins return to Bristol with all three points or will the hosts manage to finally show some form?

Bristol City have been solid at home of late, but their form on the road has been dreadful and that makes them hard to back here. Since winning at Peterborough United in early October, which was a fourth away win in five, the Robins have drawn two and lost seven of their following nine away league matches. Neither team are in form, so our money is going on the stalemate. The 1-1 draw at juicy odds of 11/2 has caught the eye.

13th Feb 2022

14:00 - Burnley v Liverpool

Liverpool to Win -1 Goal @ 5/6

Liverpool make the trip to Turf Moor this Sunday to face bottom club Burnley in the Premier League. Sean Dyche’s Clarets have endured a tough campaign up until now, though they did manage to hold Manchester United to a draw in their last one, coming from behind to do so. The test they face will be much sterner here though and Jurgen Klopp’s Reds head to Lancashire as the clear favourites with the bookies.

After 20 league games played, Burnley have picked up just one win. They still have games in hand on their relegation rivals, but the Clarets are rock bottom of the Premier League table with a mere 14 points to their name. Liverpool are nine points behind leaders Manchester City with a game in hand and will not give up on the title race yet. Klopp’s troops will be looking for a fourth straight league victory here, and we like the look of 5/6 for the visitors to win -1.

13th Feb 2022

14:00 - Newcastle v Aston Villa

Draw & Over 2.5 Goals @ 9/1

Newcastle United take on Aston Villa at St James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday. The Magpies are finally showing signs of fight, unbeaten in four and winning the last two, including a relegation six-pointer last time out against Everton. However, Steven Gerrard’s men are undefeated in three, and the Villans will fancy their chances at St James’. This one could go either way but in the end we fancy the two are two close to split.

Newcastle head into this one off the back of two much-needed victories. After a 1-0 win at Leeds United, the Magpies beat Frank Lampard’s Everton 3-1 at St James’ Park on Tuesday night. As for Villa, they were involved in a thrilling 3-3 home draw with Leeds on Wednesday, letting a 3-1 lead slip after they had come from a goal down. We can see the pair cancelling each other out in this one, and we are also expecting goals. Back the draw and over 2.5 goals at big odds of 9/1.

13th Feb 2022

14:00 - Tottenham v Wolves

Tottenham Hotspur to Win by One Goal @ 12/5

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur welcome Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in an intriguing game in the Premier League this Sunday. Both teams will be hoping to bounce back from midweek defeats. Spurs have already beaten Wolves twice this season, and the Lilywhites are the odds-on favourites in this one.

Conte made an excellent start to life at Tottenham, with Spurs winning five and drawing three of his first eight league matches in charge. However, the Londoners have lost to Chelsea and Southampton in their last two. In-form Wolves were narrowly beaten by Arsenal at Molineux in midweek, and we can see a similar fate for Lage’s men in this one. You can get the solid odds of 12/5 for Spurs to win by exactly one goal and maintain their push for the European places.

13th Feb 2022

16:30 - Leicester v West Ham

West Ham United Win & BTTS @ 10/3

The final Premier League fixture of the round will see Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City and David Moyes’ West Ham United do battle at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Hammers got back on track with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Watford in midweek, while the Foxes were beaten at Anfield. Can West Ham pick up a precious three points from this one and keep themselves very much in the battle for a top-four finish?

The Irons moved back into the UEFA Champions League places after the midweek results and know they have to keep churning out wins if they are to stay there. United are having another exceptional season under Moyes, winning 50% of their Premier League matches and playing lots of fine football. In contrast, Leicester are in poor form, losing three and drawing one of their previous four in all competitions. We fancy Moyes’ men to chalk up another three points here so back the Hammers to win and both teams to score at the very nice looking price of 10/3.

14th Feb 2022

20:00 - West Brom v Blackburn

West Bromwich Albion Win @ 4/5

We have an EFL Championship cracker to look forward to on Monday night, as Steve Bruce’s West Bromwich Albion take on Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers at The Hawthorns. Both teams are gunning for promotion to the Premier League, and this promises to be an entertaining affair. Both have let their standards drop a little recently and Bruce lost his first game in charge in midweek, but can the experienced manager guide the Baggies to a huge three points here?

West Brom slipped out of the top six after the midweek results, with the Baggies now in ninth spot, although they remain just a point behind sixth. Albion have lost four of their past five in the Championship and have won just one league game in eight. Blackburn are having a sensational season, though Mowbray’s boys have taken only one point from their past three. This could be close, but with home advantage our money is going on the West Brom win (4/5).

15th Feb 2022

19:45 - Cardiff v Coventry

Cardiff City Win @ 17/10

Steve Morison’s Cardiff City and Mark Robins’ Coventry City go head-to-head at the Cardiff City Stadium in EFL Championship action this Tuesday night. The Bluebirds have been poor at home this term, but the hosts head into this one having won two home matches on the spin. As for the Sky Blues, they edged a 3-2 thriller at Reading last time out.

Cardiff were beaten by Millwall at The Den on Saturday, but the Welsh side had secured three successive Championship victories before that, seeing off Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Peterborough United. Coventry are one of the league’s more unpredictable sides, and Robins’ team will be hoping to build on the win at Reading. However, we fancy Cardiff to snatch the points on home soil. The home victory is available at the solid price of 17/10.

15th Feb 2022

20:00 - PSG v Real Madrid

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

On Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League, heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid lock horns in a mouth-watering game at the Parc des Princes in the French capital. PSG are 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 right now, while Real sit pretty at the summit of La Liga. The first leg of this Round of 16 tie in Paris could go either way and whoever wins will feel they have a real chance to go all the way this year.

Paris have been sensational on their own patch, failing to win just two home league and cup games all season. Lionel Messi hasn’t been at his best domestically but in this competition has been as good as ever and he would surely love to score once again against old rivals Real. Madrid are in fine fettle domestically, and Los Blancos won four Champions League games in a row after that shock home defeat to Sheriff back in September. A draw would suit Real better, but it would not be a disaster for Paris. Check out the draw and both teams to score at big odds of 7/2 in what should be a thrilling clash.

15th Feb 2022

20:00 - Sporting Lisbon v Man City

Manchester City to Win -1 Goal @ 4/5

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City troops to the Portuguese capital on Tuesday to face Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. Man City were losing finalists last year, but can they go one better this time around and finally land the piece of silverware they most covet? Before a ball has been kicked in the knockout stages, the Premier League champions are the bookies’ favourites to lift the trophy and it is so, so easy to see why.

Man City are in red-hot form at present. Since losing their final Champions League group game to RB Leipzig back in early December, Pep’s boys have gone on to win 11 of 12 fixtures across all competitions. The Premier League leaders should make light work of Sporting over the two legs, starting with a comfortable away win on Tuesday. Put some money on Man City to win -1 at very solid odds of 4/5.

15th Feb 2022

20:15 - Manchester United v Brighton

Draw @ 3/1

We have one Premier League game to look forward to in midweek, as Manchester United entertain Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. Having lost to EFL Championship side Middlesbrough in the FA Cup before back-to-back league draws with Burnley and Southampton, the Red Devils will be looking for a first victory in four. They are missing a lot of chances at the moment and confidence is not where it needs to be.

Brighton have been tough to beat in the Premier League this season, suffering just four defeats. Only Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have lost fewer. Man United will be desperate for all three points, but this will be another tough game for Ralf Rangnick and his men. The Seagulls are the Premier League’s draw specialists, drawing 12 of 23, and we can see Graham Potter’s boys holding United to a frustrating stalemate (3/1) at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

16th Feb 2022

19:45 - Peterborough v Reading

Peterborough United to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Peterborough United and Reading lock horns in a huge EFL Championship fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium on Wednesday night. Posh are in 22nd place with 20 points to their name, while the Royals are only two points above in 21st. This midweek matchup is well and truly a relegation six-pointer and defeat would be a major blow for either team.

Peterborough have had a pretty dire season so far, picking up just five wins from 29 games. Since a 2-1 win over Millwall, which remains their only league success since October, United have taken a mere one point from a possible 21. Reading are doing even worse and the Royals are in freefall, losing seven Championship games on the bounce. Home advantage could be the key in this one, and we are backing Peterborough to nick a narrow victory. You can get the solid odds of 3/1 for the hosts to win by one goal.

16th Feb 2022

20:00 - RB v Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich to Win & BTTS @ 6/4

Matthias Jaissle’s Red Bull Salzburg entertain Julian Nagelsmann’s Bayern Munich at the Red Bull Arena this Wednesday in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The Bavarians are well clear at the top of the Bundesliga, but Bayern fell to a shock 4-2 defeat at Bochum last time out. Salzburg are sitting pretty at the summit in their domestic league and have won four in a row in all competitions, so they will certainly feel they have a decent chance on home soil.

As you would expect, the odds are stacked against Jaissle’s team, but Salzburg have a sensational home record this season. In the group stage of the Champions League, they beat Lille, Wolfsburg and Sevilla at home. However, Bayern are a big step up as one of the true giants of European football, and Nagelsmann’s side will take some stopping in this tie. Have a punt on the away win and both teams to score at 6/4.

16th Feb 2022

20:00 - Inter Milan v Liverpool

Liverpool Win @ 11/10

Jurgen Klopp takes his Liverpool side to Italy in midweek to face Inter Milan at the San Siro in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie. Inter gave up top spot in Serie A to fierce rivals AC Milan last weekend, while Liverpool sit second behind Manchester City in the Premier League. This is one of the standout Champions League ties of the round and will no doubt be a really stern test for the Reds.

Inter’s momentum has halted of late, as Simone Inzaghi’s boys have taken just four points from the last 12 on offer in Serie A. In contrast, Liverpool are in fine fettle in the Premier League, winning four on the spin. The Reds have already won at the San Siro in this season’s Champions League, beating Milan 2-1 in a group stage game back in December. We fancy the Merseysiders to win this one and odds of 11/10 seem more than fair with the visitors set to be close to full strength.

17th Feb 2022

17:45 - Borussia Dortmund v Rangers

Borussia Dortmund to Win -1 Goal @ 20/21

Rangers make the trip to Germany this Thursday to take on German giants Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. This will be an extremely tough tie for the Scottish Premiership champions, but can Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s troops pick up a positive result on the road on Thursday?

Marco Rose’s boys have been in patchy form of late, losing two and winning two of their last four games. After a shock 5-2 home reverse to Bayer Leverkusen, they did manage to bounce back with a 3-0 win at Union Berlin last time out. Rangers have won three in a row since losing to Celtic, meanwhile. Apart from that strange result against Leverkusen, Borussia have been strong at home all season. The hosts should prevail here, and there is good value in the odds of 20/21 for Dortmund to win with a -1 goal handicap.

17th Feb 2022

17:45 - Barcelona v Napoli

Barcelona to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

The Barcelona versus Napoli affair is, without doubt, the standout tie in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. Barca were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the group stage, while Partenopei qualified from their Europa League group. Things have been tough going for Barcelona this season, but they head into this tie as the favourites to go through.

Barcelona have not lost in La Liga since December, and Xavi’s side have taken seven points from the last nine on offer since a Copa del Rey defeat to Athletic Bilbao. Napoli are in good form in Serie A right now, winning four and drawing two of their last six games. This really is a tough one to call at the Camp Nou, but we can just see Barca edging it on home turf. You can get odds of 11/4 for the hosts to win by one goal.

17th Feb 2022

20:00 - Porto v Lazio

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Sergio Conceicao’s Porto and Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio go head-to-head at the Estadio do Dragao this Thursday in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. The Portuguese outfit are having an exceptional domestic season, but can they take their league form into Europe? Porto are the slight favourites to win this first leg on their own patch.

Porto have been sensational at the Estadio do Dragao this season. In fact, only Liverpool and Atletico Madrid have won on their patch. Sarri’s Eagles have blown hot and cold lately, though they did secure a comfortable 3-0 home victory over Bologna last time out. Both teams will be looking for the win in Lisbon on Thursday, but a draw would be a decent result for the pair. Check out the draw and both teams to score at the decent odds of 15/4.

17th Feb 2022

20:00 - Celtic v Bodo/Glimt

Celtic HT/FT @ 6/5

Celtic’s European journey continues when they welcome Bodo/Glimt to Celtic Park this Thursday in the UEFA Europa Conference League knockout round play-offs. The Hoops, who sit proudly at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, are the odds-on favourites with the bookies to see off the Norwegian side in Glasgow. Will the Bhoys take a lead to Bodo?

Ange Postecoglou’s men are on a stunning run of form at present. Since losing to Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League group stage back in November, the Glasgow giants have gone on to win 16 of their last 17 league and cup games. The loss to Leverkusen remains their only defeat in all competitions since losing to the same side in September. The Celts should be too strong for Bodo/Glimt on Thursday and we’ll be backing the home team to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 6/5.

17th Feb 2022

20:00 - Leicester v Randers

Leicester City to Win Both Halves @ 7/4

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City are in UEFA Europa Conference League action on Thursday night. The Foxes welcome Danish side Randers to the King Power Stadium in the first leg. Leicester may be having a difficult season, but they are currently the second-favourites behind Roma to win the Europa Conference League.

City have had a tough time of late, failing to win any of their last five league and cup games (three defeats, two draws). They shipped at the death last Sunday to draw 2-2 at home with West Ham United in the Premier League. Still, Thursday’s tie is an excellent chance to end this winless run, and it should be a comfortable evening for the Foxes. We like the look of the price of 7/4 for Leicester to win both halves of this one.

18th Feb 2022

19:45 - Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest go head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium in the EFL Championship on Friday night. With both teams pushing for promotion to the Premier League, this promises to be an intriguing night in Dorset. The Cherries sit second in the table behind leaders Fulham, while Forest are just outside the play-offs as things stand.

Scott Parker’s Bournemouth have bounced back from two defeats by winning their last three games in the Championship. Last time out, two goals in the last four minutes gave them a 2-1 away win at Blackpool. Steve Cooper’s Reds are in superb form, picking up six wins from their last eight matches in all competitions. This could go either way, so our money is going on the draw. Put some money on the draw and both teams to score at the solid odds of 15/4.

19th Feb 2022

12:30 - West Ham v Newcastle

West Ham United Win @ 7/10

Saturday’s early kick off in the Premier League comes from the London Stadium, as David Moyes’ West Ham United welcome Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United to the capital. The Hammers were knocked out of the top four after Manchester United’s midweek win, but West Ham sit pretty in fifth. As for the Magpies, three straight wins has lifted them into 17th. With both teams coming into this one in good form, we could be in for an entertaining clash.

West Ham head into the game having won three of their last four league and cup clashes at the London Stadium. In the last one, a Jarrod Bowen strike gave them all three points against Watford. Newcastle have finally got things right, sealing successive wins over Leeds United, Everton and Aston Villa. However, this will be a tough test for Howe’s side and the Hammers are a step up from those three teams. The Magpies have been good at home but still struggle on the road and so our money is going on the West Ham win at decent looking odds of 7/10.

19th Feb 2022

12:30 - Fulham v Huddersfield

Fulham Win & BTTS @ 11/5

Saturday’s early game in the EFL Championship promises to be an intriguing one, as leaders Fulham take on a Huddersfield Town team that are unbeaten in 14 league and cup matches. Despite Town’s excellent undefeated run, the Cottagers are the clear favourites in this one. Can Fulham take another small step towards promotion to the Premier League with three points this weekend?

Marco Silva’s men have been in stunning form in 2022, winning six and drawing one of seven Championship fixtures. Last weekend, an Aleksandar Mitrovic goal gave the Cottagers a precious 1-0 win at Hull City. The Terriers have been one of the Championship’s surprise packages this season, but we fancy Fulham in this one. Check out the tempting odds of 11/5 for the Fulham win and both teams to score.

19th Feb 2022

15:00 - Arsenal v Brentford

Arsenal to Win -1 Goal @ 6/5

London sides Arsenal and Brentford lock horns at the Emirates Stadium in Premier League action on Saturday. The Gunners are looking for a top-four finish this season, while the Bees will be hoping to avoid an instant return to the EFL Championship. These two are separated by 15 points, and Arsenal are the red-hot favourites to get the win on their own patch. Their fortunes have reversed since the opening weeks of the campaign when the Bees started Premier League life strongly and Arsenal struggled. Now the Gunners are looking up and Brentford are anxiously glancing down the table.

That said, all has not been great for Mikel Arteta’s men over the past three weeks. After five league and cup games without a win, the Gunners did, however, seal a much-needed three points in their last outing. Despite playing the last 20 minutes with 10 men, Gabriel’s goal was enough to give the north Londoners a 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Thomas Frank’s Brentford have found Premier League life tough going of late, losing five and drawing one of their last six. We fancy Arsenal to win -1 at 6/5.

19th Feb 2022

15:00 - Crystal Palace v Chelsea

Chelsea to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Chelsea return to Premier League action this Saturday to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Since their last Premier League game, the Blues have been to the other side of the world and won the FIFA Club World Cup. The world champions can now turn their attention to league matters before a UEFA Champions League knockout game and the 2022 Carabao Cup final. No rest for the wicked.

Chelsea’s form in the Premier League has been patchy recently. Before beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in their last one, Thomas Tuchel’s men had drawn three and lost one of four, to drop well off the pace being set by Man City at the top of the Premier League table. Patrick Vieira’s Eagles are not an easy nut to crack at Selhurst Park, but we fancy Chelsea to nick the points here. You can get the solid price of 5/2 for the away team to win by one goal.

19th Feb 2022

15:00 - Liverpool v Norwich

Liverpool to Win to Nil @ 4/6

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Dean Smith’s Norwich City go head-to-head at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday. The Reds have been strong on their own patch all season and have not lost at Anfield since last March. The Canaries have improved of late, but they could be in for a long afternoon on Saturday. Liverpool are the 1/10 favourites and even at those short odds they will have plenty of backers such is the gap between the teams.

Since letting a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the start of the year, Liverpool have taken maximum points from their following four Premier League matches. The Reds have seen off Brentford, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Burnley, keeping clean sheets in three in those. We fancy the Merseysiders to stop Norwich from scoring at Anfield this Saturday. You can get odds of 4/6 for Liverpool to win to nil and that’s a huge boost from 1/10!

19th Feb 2022

17:30 - Manchester City v Tottenham

Manchester City to Win Both Halves @ 13/8

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur meet at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening in the standout game of the Premier League weekend. The Citizens are in rampant form right now and will be looking for another comfortable home victory. Tottenham have lost their last three in the league and are the big 9/1 underdogs and even at those odds they will have few backers.

Man City are unbeaten in 13 league and cup matches since losing to RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League over two months ago. In midweek, the Citizens walloped Sporting Lisbon 5-0 away from home in Europe. Conte started life at Spurs in fine fettle, but the Lilywhites have suffered successive league defeats to Chelsea, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers. This could be another stroll in the park for the champions, and we like the look of 13/8 for City to win both halves.

20th Feb 2022

14:00 - Leeds v Manchester United

Manchester United Win & BTTS @ 12/5

Old rivals Leeds United and Manchester United go head-to-head at Elland Road in the Premier League this Sunday in what is always a rather feisty encounter. Leeds are currently hovering just six points above the drop zone after collecting a mere five league wins all season. After Man United’s important victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in midweek, the Red Devils will be looking for another triumph here as they attempt to cement their place in the top four.

Leeds’ second season back in the top flight has been tough going so far. The pressure was heaped back onto Marcelo Bielsa after their poor 3-0 defeat at Everton in their last match. Ralf Rangnick has lost just one Premier League match as Man United boss, and we fancy the Red Devils to secure a narrow victory at Elland Road on Sunday. Take a punt on the visitors to win and both teams to score at odds of 12/5.

20th Feb 2022

16:30 - Wolves v Leicester

Wolverhampton Wanderers Win @ 5/4

Midlands duo Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City do battle at Molineux in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. Bruno Lage’s Wolves have fired their way into UEFA Champions League contention after claiming five wins from their past seven games in the league. As for Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes, they make the short trip to Molineux having won just three of their previous 13 Premier League matches.

Lage took time to settle in at Wolves, but Wanderers have grown into the season and turned themselves into genuine top-four contenders. Wolves start the weekend in seventh position in the table, just six points away from Manchester United, who occupy the final Champions League spot as things stand. Wolves are 10 points clear of Leicester, and we can see that stretching to 13 this weekend. Put some money on the hosts to win at fair odds of 5/4.

23rd Feb 2022

19:30 - Burnley v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur Win & BTTS @ 10/3

After the stunning weekend win at Manchester City, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to follow it up with three points at Turf Moor on Wednesday night. However, the Clarets picked up an excellent away victory of their own last time out, winning 3-0 at Brighton and Hove Albion. This is a huge Premier League game for both clubs for different reasons.

Burnley’s success at the Amex Stadium was only their second league victory of the season. Sean Dyche’s boys moved off the bottom of the table, though they are still five points away from safety. Tottenham ended their three-game league losing streak with a superb 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday. Spurs should edge this one at Turf Moor and we like the look of the odds of 10/3 for the Tottenham victory and both teams to score.

23rd Feb 2022

19:30 - Watford v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Watford and Crystal Palace go head-to-head at Vicarage Road in Premier League action on Wednesday night. Can Roy Hodgson get one over on his former club and guide the Hornets to much-needed back-to-back wins? Patrick Vieira’s Eagles are the slight favourites with the bookies, but this crucial clash could go either way.

Watford secured a vital victory at Aston Villa last time out, with Emmanuel Dennis scoring the only goal of the game 12 minutes from time. Palace battled hard against Chelsea, but Hakim Ziyech netted in the 89th minute to win the points for the European champions. Watford will be in high spirits after the Villa victory, but we fancy the Eagles to nick a win at Vicarage Road. Put some money on the Londoners to win by one goal at a decent-enough price of 11/4.

23rd Feb 2022

19:45 - Liverpool v Leeds

Liverpool to Win -1 Goal @ 4/9

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United square off at Anfield in Premier League action on Wednesday night. The Reds will be looking for a comfortable home league win ahead of the weekend’s Carabao Cup final with Chelsea. The Whites will be desperate for a positive result as the pressure mounts on Bielsa, but the home team are understandably and predictably the red-hot favourites at Anfield.

Since a 0-0 EFL Cup draw with Arsenal, Liverpool have gone on to win their next eight league and cup fixtures. The Reds remain unbeaten at Anfield across all competitions since losing in the league to Fulham back in March 2021. Leeds fell to a 4-2 home loss to rivals Manchester United last time out, and we can only see one winner here. Take a punt on Klopp’s boys to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 4/9.

23rd Feb 2022

19:45 - Sheffield United v Blackburn

Sheffield United to Win to Nil @ 2/1

Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers meet in a mouth-watering EFL Championship fixture on Wednesday night. The Blades are in sixth spot in the table with 50 points to their name, with Rovers four points ahead in third place as things stand. Sheffield United have been in stunning form under Paul Heckingbottom, and United are the odds-on favourites in this one.

The Blades continued their rise up the table with an emphatic 4-0 home win over Swansea City last weekend. Since Heckingbottom took over, the Sheffield side have won eight of their 12 Championship fixtures. Blackburn have had a little wobble in form of late, winning just one of their previous six games in the league. United have kept four clean sheets in a row and you can get odds of 2/1 for the hosts to win to nil on Wednesday night, which looks a price worth grabbing.

23rd Feb 2022

19:45 - Fulham v Peterborough

Fulham to Win Both Halves @ 11/8

Leaders Fulham take on 23rd-placed Peterborough United at Craven Cottage in the Championship on Wednesday night. The Cottagers were beaten at home by in-form Huddersfield Town last time out, but Marco Silva’s men should strike back with an easy league victory on their own patch in midweek. The hosts are the 2/9 favourites with the bookies, which doesn’t seem an unreasonable price given the strength of the home side.

Before Saturday’s loss to the Terriers, Fulham had won six and drawn one of their seven league games in 2022. Peterborough have failed to win any of their past nine games in the Championship, taking a measly two points from the last 27 on offer. Silva’s troops will be hoping to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointment with a routine home success on Wednesday. The Cottagers should be far too strong for Posh, and Fulham to win both halves at odds of 11/8 is the standout bet for us.

23rd Feb 2022

20:00 - Atletico Madrid v Manchester United

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Ralf Rangnick takes his Manchester United troops to the Spanish capital in midweek to play Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. The first leg of this Round of 16 tie will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid this Wednesday night. Atleti are in patchy form, and United will back themselves to get a result at the Metropolitano, but the Spaniards are never an easy nut to crack, especially on home soil.

Simeone’s side have lost half of their last six home league and cup fixtures. In the last one, Levante left with all three points in La Liga. Man United have shown a big improvement since Rangnick took over and have suffered just two losses in 18 league and cup matches. United would no doubt take a draw in Madrid and there is good value in the odds of 7/2 for the draw and both teams to score in this one.

22nd Feb 2022

19:45 - Middlesbrough v West Brom

Middlesbrough Win @ 5/4

Chris Wilder’s Middlesbrough and Steve Bruce’s West Bromwich Albion lock horns at the Riverside Stadium this Tuesday in a crucial EFL Championship clash. The pair have been heading in opposite directions of late, with Boro now three points above the Baggies in the table. The home side are the favourites to add another three points to their tally in midweek.

Middlesbrough fell to a disappointing 2-1 reverse at Bristol City in their last match but that was only their third league defeat since Wilder took over in November. West Brom’s poor form continued, as they were beaten at Luton Town. Albion are in miserable form and have taken just one point from the last 15 on offer. We fancy Middlesbrough to get back to winning ways in midweek – the home win is available at the decent odds of 5/4, which looks good to us.

22nd Feb 2022

19:45 - Swansea v Bournemouth

Bournemouth to Win to Nil @ 11/4

Scott Parker takes Bournemouth to South Wales in midweek to face Swansea City at the Swansea.com Stadium. The Cherries will be fresh after last Friday’s game was called off, while the Swans were hammered by Sheffield United at the weekend. Can Bournemouth continue their push for automatic promotion with three points in Wales on Tuesday?

The Swans are having a tough season under Russell Martin and have won just 10 of their 31 league games. They find themselves languishing in 17th place in the table with 38 points to their name. In contrast, Bournemouth are flying high in second place right now, six points away from leaders Fulham but with a game in hand. Parker’s boys have won five of their previous seven Championship games, keeping clean sheets in three of those. You can get odds of 11/4 for the Cherries to win to nil in midweek which represents decent value in our eyes.

22nd Feb 2022

20:00 - Chelsea v Lille

Chelsea HT/FT @ 10/11

Chelsea continue the defence of their UEFA Champions League crown with a Round of 16 tie against French outfit Lille, with the first leg taking place at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. Thomas Tuchel’s men should certainly have enough to see off Lille over the two legs, and the Blues will be looking to take a handsome lead to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Since drawing 1-1 at Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League in mid-January, Chelsea have won five in a row in three different competitions. They recently beat Al-Hilal and Palmeiras to get their hands on the FIFA Club World Cup trophy. The Londoners look unlikely to win the Premier League given they are already 13 points behind leaders Man City (albeit with a game in hand), so the Champions League is a priority. They should ease past the French team on Tuesday, and we like the look of the odds of 10/11 for Tuchel’s team to be winning at half time and full time.

22nd Feb 2022

20:00 - Villarreal v Juventus

Juventus Win & BTTS @ 11/2

Villarreal and Juventus meet in a Round of 16 UEFA Champions League tie at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Tuesday night that should offer a good dose of entertainment for neutrals. This two-legged affair promises to be intriguing on many levels, though the Old Lady are the favourites to progress. Can the Yellow Submarine pick up a positive result on their own patch or will the Italian giants return to Turin with a positive result?

Unai Emery’s Villarreal are in sixth spot in La Liga right now, having taken 39 points from 25 games thus far. As for Juve, they are fourth in Serie A and have won 13 of their 26 games. Massimiliano Allegri’s boys will be a tough nut to crack for Villarreal, and the visitors will fancy their chances of leaving Spain with a victory. Check out the decent price of 11/2 for the Juventus win and both teams to score in this one.

24th Feb 2022

17:45 - Bodo/Glimt v Celtic

Celtic Win @ 23/20

Celtic have it all to do in their UEFA Europa Conference League knockout round play-off tie after a disappointing home defeat last week. Ange Postecoglou’s men travel to Aspmyra Stadion on Thursday to face Bodo/Glimt with a 3-1 deficit. The Bhoys have a mountain to climb, but an early Celtic goal in Norway could make things interesting. The Scottish side are the favourites to get the win on the night.

Celtic have been in stunning form domestically of late, but the Glasgow giants were poor in the first leg of this Europa League game. Bodo took the Hoops by surprise and fully warranted their impressive victory at Celtic Park. A 3-1 lead in the tie should be enough for the Norwegians, but we do fancy Celtic to get the win at Aspmyra Stadion. The away victory is nicely priced at odds of 23/20.

17:45 - Randers v Leicester

Leicester City to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

Brendan Rodgers takes his Leicester City troops to Randers Stadium in Denmark this Thursday night to face Soren Pedersen’s Randers in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The Foxes hold a 4-1 advantage in this knockout round play-off tie after an impressive victory on their own patch last week. The Premier League side should see the job through on Danish soil this Thursday.

Leicester were far too strong for Randers at the King Power Stadium, with goals from Wilfred Ndidi, Harvey Barnes, Patson Daka and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall sealing a comfortable 4-1 home victory. The job is all but done, but Rodgers will want a win at Randers Stadium this Thursday. We are backing the Foxes to prevail by a decent margin again, so put some money on Leicester to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 6/4.

19:45 - Arsenal v Wolves

Arsenal to Win by One Goal @ 12/5

Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers do battle at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday night. With both teams pushing for a UEFA Champions League place, this could be a tight and tense affair in the capital. The Gunners are two points and a place above Wolves with a game in hand as things stand but this one could go either way.

When the teams clashed at Molineux a few weeks ago, Mikel Arteta’s men left the West Midlands with a narrow 1-0 win. Despite playing the last 20 minutes with 10 men, Gabriel’s goal proved to be enough to bag the three points. This is likely to be another close encounter between the two evenly matched teams, but we fancy Arsenal to nick the points once again. Check out the solid odds of 12/5 for the hosts to win by one goal.

24th Feb 2022

20:00 - Napoli v Barcelona

Barcelona Win & BTTS @ 4/1

Napoli and Barcelona meet again on Thursday in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League knockout round play-off. Gli Azzurri held Barca to a draw in the Camp Nou last week, but the Spanish giants are the slight favourites to go through. This promises to be an intriguing European tie at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.

A Piotr Zielinski goal gave Napoli the lead in Catalonia, though Barca were level before the hour mark thanks to Ferran Torres’ penalty. Things were tight in Spain, and the pair could be tough to split in Italy. Blaugrana have been nowhere near their best this season, but Xavi’s men have been tough to beat of late. We fancy the Spanish side to get the victory in Naples on Thursday night, and there is good value in the odds of 4/1 for the Barca win and both teams to score.

24th Feb 2022

20:00 - Rangers v Borussia Dortmund

Draw & Under 3.5 Goals @ 5/1

Rangers hold a handy lead in their UEFA Europa League knockout round play-off tie against German giants Borussia Dortmund. Can the Scottish side see the job through at Ibrox on Thursday and book their spot in the last 16 of this season’s Europa League? Rangers were excellent at the Westfalenstadion last week, but the tie is not done and dusted just yet.

Rangers pulled off a shock victory in Dortmund last week, as efforts from James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos and John Lundstram and an own goal earned Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s troops a surprise but deserved 4-2 away win. Dortmund have nothing to lose and everything to gain in Glasgow, but we can see Rangers holding the Germans to a draw on Thursday night. As such we’ll be backing the draw and under 3.5 goals at odds of 5/1.

25th Feb 2022

20:00 - Southampton v Norwich

Southampton to Win to Nil @ 6/4

Southampton and Norwich City go head-to-head at St Mary’s in Premier League action this Friday night as the football weekend starts early in the top flight. The Saints are on a good five-game unbeaten run in all competitions, and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men will be looking for all three points from this one. After recent results, Dean Smith’s Canaries have dropped back to the foot of the Premier League table and few will now be backing them for survival.

Southampton have been tough to beat lately, losing just one of their past 11 league and cup games. During that run, they have beaten the likes of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur and drawn with Manchester City and Manchester United. Norwich have shown signs of life of late, but they are five points adrift of safety at the bottom. Southampton beat Everton 2-0 in their last one, a game in which they didn’t even concede a shot on target, and you can get 6/4 for the Saints to win to nil again.

26th Feb 2022

12:30 - Leeds v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur Win @ 10/11

Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur meet at Elland Road this Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. The pressure continues to mount on Marcelo Bielsa, as the Whites were hammered 6-0 by Liverpool in midweek. Antonio Conte’s Spurs have had a topsy-turvy week, winning at Manchester City before losing at Burnley. The Lilywhites are the favourites here but Leeds are getting desperate for points and will be giving everything to get something from the game.

Leeds are having a tough second season in the Premier League, hovering just three points above the drop zone in 15th position in the table. Since winning at West Ham United, the West Yorkshire side have picked up just one point from a possible 15. After the stunning victory at the Etihad Stadium, Tottenham were poor at Turf Moor in midweek. However, we fancy the Londoners to bounce back with three points at Elland Road on Saturday. The Spurs victory is priced at odds of 10/11, which looks like reasonable value to us.

26th Feb 2022

15:00 - Manchester United v Watford

Manchester United to Win -2 Goals @ 11/5

At Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United take on Roy Hodgson’s Watford in the Premier League. The Red Devils have suffered just one league loss since that embarrassing reverse at Vicarage Road back in November. United are in good form, and Rangnick’s boys will be looking for all three points from this one.

Man United are unbeaten in seven league fixtures, winning four and drawing three. In contrast, the Hornets have picked up just one Premier League win since thumping United 4-1 a few months back. Watford won their last away game but were beaten 4-1 at home by Crystal Palace in midweek. This will be another stern test for the strugglers, and we are backing an easy Man United win. Put some money on the hosts to win with a -2 goal handicap at odds of 11/5.

26th Feb 2022

17:30 - Everton v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win -1 Goal @ 8/11

The late kick off in the Premier League this Saturday comes from Goodison Park, as Frank Lampard’s Everton entertain Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The champions will want to respond after last weekend’s shock home defeat with three points in Merseyside. As expected, Man City are the overwhelming favourites to get the win at Goodison.

Lampard has had a mixed start to life at Everton. In the league, the Toffees have won one and lost two under their new boss, but they did thump Brentford in the FA Cup. Man City’s long unbeaten run came to an end last weekend, as Pep’s boys were on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller with Tottenham Hotspur. Still, City should bounce back with a comfortable victory at Goodison and we’ll be backing the visitors to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 8/11.

27th Feb 2022

14:00 - West Ham v Wolves

West Ham United to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

David Moyes’ West Ham United and Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers lock horns at the London Stadium in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. Wolves will still be kicking themselves after letting a lead slip to lose 2-1 at Arsenal on Thursday. Can Wanderers bounce back by claiming a positive result at West Ham at the weekend?

On paper, the Hammers and Wolves seem well matched. West Ham are currently in sixth position, two points and a place above Wanderers, who have a game in hand. Both teams are looking to gate-crash the top-four party this season. Sunday’s showdown in the capital could go either way, but we fancy the hosts to edge the victory. Have a punt on West Ham to win by one goal at the decent odds of 13/5.

27th Feb 2022

16:30 - Chelsea v Liverpool

Draw & BTTS @ 7/2

Chelsea and Liverpool will contest the 2022 Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Both teams head to the capital in fine form, and we should be in for an entertaining final. The Blues have already won two major trophies this season, though the Reds are the slight favourites in this one. Both will clearly be going all out for victory, but who will lift the trophy in the national stadium on Sunday?

Thomas Tuchel’s men have won six games in a row in all competitions. As for Liverpool, they have won every league and cup game since drawing 0-0 with Arsenal in the semi-final of the EFL Cup back in mid-January. With the pair in fine fettle, this final is a tough one to call. It could go the distance at Wembley, so our money is going on match to be level after 90 minutes. There is good value in the odds of 7/2 for the draw and both teams to score.

28th Feb 2022

20:00 - West Brom v Swansea

West Bromwich Albion Win @ 3/4

West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City meet at The Hawthorns in the EFL Championship on Monday night. The Baggies have slipped down to 11th in the table after a poor run of results of late, but three points on home soil on Monday could get their promotion bid back on track. The Swans are down in 17th spot as things stand and are the underdogs in this one.

The Steve Bruce era has got off to a slow start as West Brom have taken just one point from a possible 12 under their new boss. Since beating Peterborough United a month back, Albion have drawn one and lost five of their following six matches. Swansea are having a tough season and the Welsh club have won just two away games since August. We are backing West Brom to secure a much-needed three points here at odds of 3/4.

1st Mar 2022

19:15 - Peterborough v Manchester City

Manchester City to Win Both Halves @ 5/6

Grant McCann’s Peterborough United welcome Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to the Weston Homes Stadium this Tuesday for an FA Cup tie. The Premier League leaders are the red-hot favourites to see off the EFL Championship strugglers, but can Posh cause an almighty upset on their own patch? The bookies have the home win priced at massive odds of 20/1. It’s a price that might tempt the brave. But surely Man City are too good to slip up here?

After the disappointing home reverse to Tottenham Hotspur, the champions responded with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Everton last time out. As for Peterborough, they crashed to another damaging defeat in the Championship, losing 3-0 at home to Hull City. In truth, this should be a walk in the park for Man City, and we fancy Pep’s boys to secure a comfortable victory. You can get odds of 5/6 for the Citizens to win both halves, which looks like good value to us.

1st Mar 2022

19:30 - Crystal Palace v Stoke City

Crystal Palace Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Crystal Palace and Stoke City meet at Selhurst Park in an intriguing FA Cup tie on Tuesday night. Patrick Vieira’s Eagles are the favourites on home soil, but Michael O’Neill’s men are more than capable of upsetting the Premier League outfit. When the pair last met in this competition back in 2016, a Wilfried Zaha goal gave Palace a 1-0 home win.

Palace are in steady form, losing just two matches since a New Year’s Day league loss to West Ham United. In the past week, the London side have beaten Watford 4-1 on the road and drawn 1-1 at home with Burnley. Stoke head to Selhurst winless in four, drawing two and losing two. The Potters have done well in cup competitions under O’Neill, but Palace should make home advantage count here. Put some money on the home win and both teams to score at odds of 11/4.

1st Mar 2022

19:45 - Burnley v Leicester

Burnley Win @ 19/10

Burnley and Leicester City go head-to-head at Turf Moor in the midweek Premier League fixture. The Clarets will be desperate to keep their run going, and three points on Tuesday would lift Sean Dyche’s troops out of the bottom three. However, Brendan Rodgers’ unpredictable Foxes head to Lancashire as the bookies’ favourites to get the three points.

Burnley have boosted their survival chances by taking seven points from the last nine on offer. Before last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, the Clarets had seen off Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur. Leicester have struggled this season, picking up just seven league wins. City are winless in five in the Premier League, losing three times along the way, and we are backing Burnley in this one. The home victory is available at the decent price of 19/10.

1st Mar 2022

19:45 - Cardiff v Derby

Cardiff City to Win -1 Goal @ 11/4

There is a huge game taking place in the EFL Championship on Tuesday, as Steve Morison’s Cardiff City welcome Wayne Rooney’s Derby County to the Cardiff City Stadium. Time is running out for the Rams, who head to Wales having lost five of their past nine in the Championship. As for the Bluebirds, they have suffered narrow defeats to Huddersfield Town and Fulham in their last two.

Cardiff have improved massively since Morison took over, and the Welsh side have moved well clear of the bottom three. Saturday’s loss to the leaders ended a run of three wins and a draw from four at home. Derby desperately need the points, but we can see Cardiff making home advantage count on Tuesday. There is good value in the price of 11/4 for the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap.

1st Mar 2022

19:55 - Middlesbrough v Tottenham

Draw & BTTS

Middlesbrough welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Riverside Stadium in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday. Boro will want to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing league loss to Barnsley. However, Spurs, who won 4-0 at Leeds United last time out, are the odds-on favourites to get the victory in this one.

Chris Wilder’s Middlesbrough shocked Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United in the previous round. They battled to a 1-1 draw in normal time and went on to win 8-7 on penalties at Old Trafford. Despite losing two of the last three, Wilder has done an excellent job at the Riverside. Tottenham are in patchy form, and this will be another tough test for Antonio Conte’s men. We fancy Middlesbrough to hold the Premier League side to a draw in the 90 minutes and we’ll be taking a punt on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 15/4.

2nd Mar 2022

19:15 - Luton v Chelsea

Chelsea Win & Under 2.5 Goals @ 13/5

Thomas Tuchel takes his Chelsea troops to Kenilworth Road on Wednesday to face Nathan Jones’ Luton Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The Blues will be looking to bounce back after Sunday’s gut-wrenching penalty shootout defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final. As you would expect, the Blues are the strong favourites to get the job done in this one.

Luton are having a fine season in the EFL Championship, breaking into the top six after recent results. Jones’ side could be a dark horse in the race for promotion to the Premier League. Despite last weekend’s cup final defeat, Chelsea have been in fine form. The Hatters will give the Premier League giants a good game, but Chelsea should secure their spot in the last eight. Back the Chelsea win and under 2.5 goals at odds of 13/5.

2nd Mar 2022

19:30 - Southampton v West Ham

Southampton to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Southampton and West Ham United meet in an all-Premier League FA Cup tie on Wednesday night. Both teams are in good form, and we should be in for an entertaining tie at St Mary’s. The Saints have suffered just one loss in their last 12 league and cup fixtures, and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men are the slight favourites to get the win in this one.

Southampton have been excellent of late, winning three of their past four games in the Premier League. On Boxing Day, the Saints secured a superb 3-2 win against David Moyes’ West Ham at the London Stadium. This could be another close encounter between the pair, but we can see Hasenhuttl’s side shading it on their own patch. Check out the tempting odds of 3/1 for Southampton to win by one goal.

2nd Mar 2022

20:15 - Liverpool v Norwich

Liverpool to Win to Nil @ Evens

Fresh from their Carabao Cup victory, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool turn their attention to Norwich City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Wednesday. The Reds have already recorded three wins against the Canaries this season, scoring three times in each. Will the Merseysiders secure another comfortable victory over Norwich in midweek?

Liverpool are in stunning form right now, winning every league and cup match since drawing 0-0 with Arsenal in a Carabao Cup semi-final in mid-January. Just over a week ago, goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz earned a 3-1 league win over the Canaries at Anfield. Norwich have improved under Dean Smith, but Liverpool should cruise into the sixth round. The Reds have beaten City without conceding twice this season, and you can get a price of evens for the hosts to win to nil on Wednesday.

3rd Mar 2022

19:45 - Everton v Boreham Wood

Everton HT/FT @ 8/15

Frank Lampard’s Everton welcome Luke Garrard’s Boreham Wood to Goodison Park for a magical FA Cup fifth-round tie on Wednesday night. The Toffees ply their trade in the Premier League, while Boreham Wood are currently in the National League, and this looks like a complete mismatch on paper. Still, can the away team cause one of the biggest FA Cup shocks of all time?

Lampard has had a mixed time at Goodison since arriving, but his tenure started with a big 4-1 home win over Brentford in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Boreham Wood have had a stunning FA Cup journey so far, seeing off Wimbledon and Bournemouth in the last two rounds. Unfortunately for the National League outfit, Everton should be too strong in this one. As such, we’ll be backing the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 8/15.
