Football Tips – June 2021

3rd Jun 2021

17:00 - Andorra v Republic of Ireland

Republic of Ireland to Win -2 Goals @ 4/6

Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland travel to the Johan Cruyff Stadium in Catalonia to face Eder Sarabia’s Andorra in an international friendly on Thursday evening. Neither of these sides will be heading to the Euros so after a long hard season for many in the Irish squad, motivation may be low. Kenny has had a tough time in the Irish dugout since taking over, but the Boys in Green will be looking for an easy win in Spain in midweek. As you would expect, Ireland are the overwhelming favourites and even if they are only mentally half there, they should still have far too much.

The Republic have not won a game since Mick McCarthy’s Ireland beat New Zealand 3-1 in a friendly at the Aviva Stadium way back in November 2019. The Andorrans have picked up just one victory since March 2018 though. Ireland have won all four of the previous meetings between the two nations, and they should be too strong in Spain on Thursday. Back the Irish to win -2 at the decent odds of 4/6.

3rd Jun 2021

19:00 - Ukraine v Northern Ireland

1-1 Draw @ 13/2

Ukraine welcome Northern Ireland to the Dnipro Arena this Thursday for an international friendly fixture. After the impressive victory over Malta last time out, can Ian Baraclough’s men upset the Ukrainians here? Unlike Norn Iron, Ukraine are gearing up for this summer’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, and Andriy Shevchenko’s men will be looking for a home win in this one.

Ukraine have struggled for wins of late though, winning just one of their last 11 across all competitions. Since an impressive 1-0 UEFA Nations League victory over Spain in October last year, the Yellow and Blue are winless in seven, though each of their last four have ended in 1-1 draws. The visitors’ win over Malta on Monday was their first triumph in nine and it will have given them a real boost. We fancy Baraclough’s boys to follow that up with a draw on Thursday. Yet another 1-1 stalemate for the hosts is nicely priced at big odds of 13/2.

3rd Jun 2021

19:45 - Belgium v Greece

Belgium HT/FT @ 4/5

Roberto Martinez’s Belgium entertain John van’t Schip’s Greece at the King Baudouin Stadium this Thursday for a friendly. The Belgians are one of the favourites to lift the UEFA Euro 2020 trophy this summer, and Martinez’s men will be hoping to warm up for the tournament with friendly wins over Greece and Croatia.

The Red Devils have been on an excellent run of results of late and have been atop the FIFA rankings for some time now. Since a UEFA Nations League defeat to England at Wembley Stadium in October 2020, Belgium have won six and drawn one of their following seven. Last time out, they thumped Belarus 8-0 in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Greece have been tough to beat in recent times, but we are backing the in-form Belgians and their amazing strength in depth in this one. You can get 4/5 for the hosts to be winning at half time and full time.

4th Jun 2021

18:30 - Spain v Portugal

Draw & BTTS @ 15/4

Amidst the many pointless friendly clashes and warm-up games we have an Iberian derby as Spain and Portugal meet in a mouth-watering match at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid this Friday night. This UEFA Euro 2020 warm-up match could go either way in the Spanish capital, but Luis Enrique’s men are the slight favourites to get the win on home turf. However, the Portuguese, who won UEFA Euro 2016, can beat anyone on their day and are many people’s tip to retain their title.

Spain have been in fine fettle over the past couple of years or so, losing just one game since a UEFA Nations League defeat to Croatia back in November 2018. As for Fernando Santos’ Portugal, they have won 14 of their previous 19. These two nations drew 0-0 in a friendly back in October and played out a memorable 3-3 stalemate at Euro 2016. Take a punt on the draw and both teams to score here at the really big odds of 15/4.

4th Jun 2021

19:45 - Italy v Czech Republic

Italy Win & BTTS @ 11/4

Roberto Mancini’s Italy and Jaroslav Silhavy’s Czech Republic lock horns at Renato Dall’Ara on Friday night. Both teams will participate in this summer’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament so the players will want to impress but also avoid injury. The Italians are the favourites on home soil, but the Czechs could be tough opponents. This promises to be an intriguing friendly fixture in Bologna and we fancy the hosts will edge an exciting affair.

Italy have been in tremendous form for the past couple of years, now unbeaten in 26 matches. Since a 1-0 UEFA Nations League defeat to Portugal way back in September ’18, Gli Azzurri have gone on to win 21 and draw five. Last time out, the Italians thumped San Marino 7-0 in a friendly in Cagliari. The Czechs are in patchy form, winning three, losing three and drawing one of their last seven but we fancy they have enough to at least get on the scoresheet here. Check out the solid odds of 11/4 for the home win and both teams to score.

6th Jun 2021

17:00 - Luxembourg v Scotland

Scotland Win & BTTS @ 13/5

Steve Clarke takes his Scotland troops to the Stade Josy Barthel this weekend to face Luxembourg in a friendly. This will be the Scots’ final warm-up game before the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, where they will face Czech Republic, England and Croatia and will feel they have a decent shout of escaping the group. After holding Netherlands to a draw in the Algarve last time out, even with a number of players missing from the squad, can Scotland leave Luxembourg with a win?

The Scots were very unlucky not to have beaten the Dutch in Portugal, with Memphis Depay equalising twice for Frank de Boer’s men. Nevertheless, it was a solid performance from Clarke’s men. Luxembourg recently scored a huge win by their standards as they beat Republic of Ireland in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier, and they could cause Scotland problems in this one. Still, we are backing Clarke’s boys to get the job done. Put some money on the away win and both teams to score at the very big odds of 13/5.

5th Jun 2021

17:00 - Wales v Albania

Wales to Win to Nil @ 7/4

Wales welcome Albania to the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday for a friendly fixture. This will be the Dragons’ final warm-up match ahead of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. Wales will be looking for a comfortable home win in front of their supporters before turning their attention to their opening Euro fixture against Switzerland a week later.

Robert Page will once again take charge of the team, and the caretaker boss has done an excellent job in Ryan Giggs’ absence so far. Before the midweek defeat to a very strong France, Wales had won four of their previous five. Albania are also on an excellent run, but the Welsh should get the job done on home soil. Wales are tough to breach at the Cardiff City Stadium, so back the hosts to win to nil at 7/4 and build some confidence ahead of their Euros opener against Switzerland on the 12th June.

5th Jun 2021

17:00 - Russia v Bulgaria

Russia HT/FT @ 5/4

Stanislav Cherchesov’s Russia and Yasen Petrov’s Bulgaria square off at the Lev Yashin Stadium in an international friendly on Saturday evening. This will be the Russians’ final match before their UEFA Euro 2020 tournament begins with a tough game against Roberto Martinez’s Belgium. Russia are the clear favourites to get the win on home turf this weekend.

Russia’s Euro 2020 preparations started with a decent 1-1 draw with Poland in Wroclaw in midweek. They went a goal down early on but were level after just 20 minutes. Cherchesov’s troops have struggled for wins of late, though, picking up just two victories from their past 10 fixtures in all competitions. Nonetheless, Bulgaria are in poor form and are a far cry from the strong Bulgaria outfits of the 90s. The hosts should secure an easy win here. Back Russia to be winning at half time and full time at 5/4.

6th Jun 2021

17:00 - England v Romania

England to Win -1 @ 10/11

England take on Romania at the Riverside Stadium for their final UEFA Euro 2020 warm-up match this Sunday. The Three Lions edged past Austria in Middlesbrough with a weakened side last time out, and Gareth Southgate’s men are the clear favourites to win this one. Can England sign off with a comfortable home victory as they welcome the City and Chelsea contingent into the fold?

England’s win over Austria on Wednesday was their fifth victory in a row. The Romanians, who were beaten by Georgia in midweek, head to the Riverside having lost three on the spin. This will be the first meeting between the pair since that famous UEFA Euro 2000 group game, which Romania won 3-2. We fancy England to seal an easy win in front of their home supporters on Saturday as Southgate is sure to want to build some confidence. Put some money on the hosts to win -1 at very nice odds of 10/11.

6th Jun 2021

17:00 - Netherlands v Georgia

Netherlands HT/FT @ 1/2

Frank de Boer’s Netherlands welcome Willy Sagnol’s Georgia to De Grolsch Veste in Twente for an international friendly fixture on Sunday evening. With the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament just around the corner, the Dutch will want to end their preparations with a routine win. The Georgians beat Romania last time out and will be looking for another upset here.

Holland were frustrated by Scotland in Portugal in midweek, with the Scots holding them to a 2-2 draw. Memphis Depay equalised twice, with his second coming in the 89th minute. Netherlands were really poor in that game against an understrength Scotland and will want to hit back here. The Dutch have won four of their last six and could be dark horses in this summer’s tournament. They should be too strong for Sagnol’s side in Twente, and there is good value in 1/2 for the home team to be winning at half time and full time.

6th Jun 2021

19:45 - Belgium v Croatia

Belgium Win @ 17/20

Belgium and Croatia meet in the King Baudouin Stadium in a mouth-watering UEFA Euro 2020 warm-up match this Sunday night. These two nations reached the last four of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, with the Belgians finishing third, and the Croatians losing in the final to France. Who will come out on top in Brussels at the weekend?

Roberto Martinez’s men are in stunning form at present. Since a narrow UEFA Nations League defeat to England back in October, the Red Devils have hardly put a foot wrong. Back in March, they walloped Belarus 8-0 in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. In contrast, Croatia have been in patchy form over the past year or so, and they were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Armenia in midweek. Back in-form Belgium to edge this one at 17/20, with Croatia’s aging stars possibly just a little past their best now.

6th Jun 2021

20:00 - Germany U21 v Portugal U21

Germany U21 to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Germany and Portugal meet in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final in Ljubljana on Sunday night. The Germans are the slight favourites to get the win and lift the trophy at Stozice Stadium. Both teams narrowly won their semi-final matches, and we could be in for a close final in the Slovenian capital. There is no question that these are two very strong teams and nations who continually seem able to produce top class youngsters.

18-year-old Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz was the hero for Germany in their semi-final win over Netherlands, scoring twice in the opening eight minutes to fire the Germans into the final. Portugal left it late to see off Iberian rivals Spain, with an own goal just 10 minutes from time putting Rui Jorge’s youngsters through. Like we said, this could be close, but we fancy Germany to nick a win in the 90. Back Stefan Kuntz’s side to win by exactly one goal at big odds of 3/1.

8th Jun 2021

19:00 - Hungary v Republic of Ireland

Hungary Win @ 13/10

Hungary and Republic of Ireland meet in an international friendly at the Ferenc Szusza Stadium on Tuesday night. Stephen Kenny picked up his first win as Ireland manager last time out – can the Boys in Green follow that with victory over the Hungarians in midweek? The Irish are priced at odds of 2/1 to prevail, while Hungary are the favourites at 13/10.

As Marco Rossi’s Hungary team gear up for their huge UEFA Euro 2020 opener against current European champions Portugal on Tuesday 15th June, they will certainly be looking for a win here. They are in terrific form, having won seven and drawn three of their 10 matches since a UEFA Nations League defeat to Russia in September last year. Unfortunately for Ireland, they are not in good form at all. Okay they beat lowly Andorra last Thursday, but in the last year they’ve lost to the likes of Wales, England, Finland and Serbia and even Luxembourg. As such we fancy Hungary to keep up their unbeaten run with a win in this one. The hosts look like decent value for the win at odds of 13/10.

8th Jun 2021

20:10 - France v Bulgaria

France to Win to Nil @ 8/15

At the Stade de France on Tuesday night, France end their UEFA Euro 2020 preparations with a friendly against Yasen Petrov’s Bulgaria. Didier Deschamps’ men, who beat Wales 3-0 last time out, are in fine fettle ahead of their tournament opener against Germany next Tuesday. Can Les Bleus make it four wins in a row with an easy victory over the Bulgarians?

France have won their last three games without conceding a single goal. Before cruising past Wales last Wednesday, the French beat Kazakhstan (2-0) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (1-0) in back-to-back 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Bulgaria have picked up just one win since November 2019. This should be a relative stroll in the park for the world champions and we like the look of the odds of 8/15 for France to win to nil again.

11th Jun 2021

20:00 - Turkey v Italy

Italy to Win to Nil @ 6/5

After a year’s delay, Euro 2020 finally gets underway this Friday night and fans around Europe and beyond cannot wait to watch how the tournament plays out. At the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Senol Gunes’s Turkey and Roberto Mancini’s Italy lock horns in what could be a very intriguing opening match of the tournament. Wales and Switzerland are also in Group A so will be watching on with interest. Both Turkey and Italy are in good form ahead of this crucial match, but the Italians are the odds-on favourites to get the win on home soil.

Since a 1-1 UEFA Nations League draw with Netherlands back in October last year, Gli Azzurri have gone on to win all of their following eight matches. In their typically tight fashion they have also managed to keep eight clean sheets along the way. In their last two, games Italy beat minnows San Marino 7-0 and Czech Republic 4-0. The Turks will be looking for an upset in the Italian capital, but we fancy Mancini’s men to start with a relatively comfortable victory. You can get odds of 6/5 for Italy to win to nil as they attempt to put themselves in a strong position in their group.

12th Jun 2021

14:00 - Wales v Switzerland

Switzerland to Win by One Goal @ 11/4

Rob Page’s Wales get their UEFA Euro 2020 tournament underway with a Group A game against Vladimir Petkovic’s Switzerland at the Olympic Stadium in Baku on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons are the underdogs in this one but can Page’s troops start with a positive result in Azerbaijan? This could go either way and victory for either would give them a great chance of progressing to the next round.

Wales’ form away from the Cardiff City Stadium has been patchy of late as they have lost three of their previous five games on the road. The Swiss are in stunning form ahead of the Euros and have won six matches in a row, including a 7-0 triumph over Liechtenstein last time out. Unfortunately for the Welsh, we can see Petkovic’s in-form Switzerland securing a narrow victory in Baku on Saturday. Check out the solid price of 11/4 for the Swiss to win by one goal in this one.

12th Jun 2021

17:00 - Denmark v Finland

Denmark to Win -1 Goal @ 7/5

Denmark and Finland lock horns at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen for their opening UEFA Euro 2020 fixture on Saturday. Belgium are the firm favourites to win Group B, but second place is well and truly up for grabs. The Danes are in superb form and Kasper Hjulmand’s men will be hoping to make home advantage count in this one.

Denmark have won nine of their last 11 games and have beaten the likes of England, Sweden, Iceland and Austria in the past six months or so. The Red and White could be dark horses in this summer’s tournament and some shrewd punters have already lumped on them. Finland are no mugs though. They beat France in a friendly back in November but the Finns are without a win in six games (four losses, two draws). We fancy Denmark to secure a reasonably comfortable victory in Copenhagen this weekend. Put some money on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 7/5.

12th Jun 2021

20:00 - Belgium v Russia

Belgium HT/FT @ 7/4

Roberto Martinez’s Belgium are among the favourites to win UEFA Euro 2020 and they will be eager to get off to a winning start. The Belgians kick off their campaign with a match against Russia on Saturday night. This Group B encounter may be taking place at the Krestovsky Stadium on Saint Petersburg soil but Belgium are the clear favourites to get the three points in this one.

The Belgians are unbeaten since losing to England at Wembley Stadium in a UEFA Nations League fixture back in October. The Red Devils have gone on to win seven and draw two of nine. The Russians have won three of their last five games but Belgium have top quality players all over the pitch and we are backing Martinez’s troops to claim an easy win in Saint Petersburg on Saturday. There is good value in the solid odds of 7/4 for Belgium to be winning at half time and full time and that is the bet for us here.

13th Jun 2021

14:00 - England v Croatia

England to Win by One Goal @ 12/5

Gareth Southgate’s England get their UEFA Euro 2020 campaign up and running this weekend. The Three Lions are among the favourites to win the tournament with many bookies pricing them as the 11/2 joint second favourites alongside Belgium (with France as the 9/2 favourites). That is probably a rather generous assessment of England’s chances, but when they welcome Croatia to Wembley Stadium on Sunday they will certainly be in with a good chance of getting off to a winning start. These two heavyweights met in the semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, with the Croatians coming out on top. Can the English get some revenge in this one?

England’s preparations for this summer’s tournament have been excellent, as Southgate’s boys have won each of their last six games since a UEFA Nations League defeat to Belgium back in November. Croatia were beaten 1-0 by the Belgians in Brussels last time out (with Romelu Lukaku grabbing the crucial goal). This Group D fixture could be tight, but our money is going on a narrow England victory at Wembley. Back the English to win by one goal at odds of 12/5.

13th Jun 2021

17:00 - Austria v North Macedonia

North Macedonia Win @ 5/1

Austria and North Macedonia get their UEFA Euro 2020 campaigns up and running with a Group C match at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest on Sunday. North Macedonia will be making their first ever European Championship appearance and they are vying with Slovakia as the 750/1 outsiders to win the tournament. This will be Austria’s third Euros and they are priced at odds of around 100/1 to go all the way. Though neither of these sides is likely to go too far in the tournament, they will certainly be hoping for a winning start. But who will come out on top in this intriguing fixture in Romania?

The Austrians recently won five games in a row but Franco Foda’s side have picked up just one victory from their last six matches. North Macedonia are in stunning form, winning three and drawing one of their past four games. Back in March, Igor Angelovski’s men beat Germany away from home in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier which shows they are no mugs. We fancy the in-form Lions to kick off their Euros with a crucial win in Bucharest. The North Macedonia victory is available at a very good-value price of 5/1.

13th Jun 2021

20:00 - Netherlands v Ukraine

Netherlands Win & BTTS @ 10/3

In UEFA Euro 2020 Group C on Sunday night, Netherlands and Ukraine do battle at the Johan Cruyff Arena. The Dutch will be hoping to kick off their tournament with three points in Amsterdam and though Andriy Shevchenko’s troops could be tricky opponents we can’t see past the Dutch victory here.

Frank de Boer’s men are the odds-on favourites on home soil and Holland are in fine fettle, having won five of their last seven fixtures. Last time out, goals from Memphis Depay, Wout Weghorst and Ryan Gravenberch gave them an easy 3-0 win over Georgia at De Grolsch Veste. Ukraine are unbeaten in six games, though four of those have been draws. We are backing the Dutch to get off to a winning start on home turf on Sunday. Check out the solid price of 10/3 for the Holland win and both teams to score in this one.

14th Jun 2021

14:00 - Scotland v Czech Republic

Scotland Win & BTTS @ 6/1

Scotland’s UEFA Euro 2020 campaign gets up and running with a Group D match with Czech Republic at Hampden Park on Monday afternoon. England and Croatia are also in the group so it is going to be tough for Scotland to progress unless they get the three points from this one. The Scots may be on home soil, but Jaroslav Silhavy’s Czechs head to Glasgow as the slight favourites. Before Friday’s crunch match against rivals England, can Scotland pick up a positive result?

The Scots are making their first European Championship appearance since UEFA Euro 1996 in England and only their third overall. Their results under Steve Clarke over the past year or so have been decent and they will be desperate to get off to a winning start on home soil this Monday. We think the home advantage and the occasional will push the Scots over the line and we’re willing to take a punt on the Scotland win and both teams to score, which is nicely priced at odds of 6/1.

14th Jun 2021

17:00 - Poland v Slovakia

Poland to Win -1 Goal @ 9/4

Paulo Sousa’s Poland and Stefan Tarkovic’s Slovakia lock horns at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg for their opening UEFA Euro 2020 Group E fixture on Monday evening. Spain are the strong favourites to win the group but the Poles will fancy their chances of joining La Roja in the Round of 16. Sousa’s side should start with a win in Russia on Monday but they will be wary of complacency against a Slovakia side who can occasionally trouble the bigger sides.

With the prolific Robert Lewandowski – who is widely regarded as the best striker in Europe right now – at the helm, Poland could be the dark horses this summer. Slovakia did well to reach the Euros, but Group E looks tough for the Falcons. We fancy Poland to pick up a comfortable victory in Saint Petersburg this Monday. Check out the solid price of 9/4 for the White and Reds to win with a -1 goal handicap.

14th Jun 2021

20:00 - Spain v Sweden

Spain HT/FT @ 5/4

Luis Enrique’s Spain get their UEFA Euro 2020 tournament up and running with a tasty match with Janne Andersson’s Sweden in Seville. With Poland and Slovakia also in Group E, La Roja are the big favourites to book their spot in the Round of 16 as group winners. Can the three-time European champions start with a win at La Cartuja on Monday?

Spain have been tough to beat in recent times, losing just one game since a UEFA Nations League defeat to Croatia way back in November 2018. Sweden have won five in a row ahead of this championship, but we can only see one winner here. Spain are among the favourites to lift the trophy this summer, and they should start with an easy win on Monday. Back Enrique’s boys to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 5/4.

15th Jun 2021

17:00 - Hungary v Portugal

Portugal to Win to Nil @ 5/4

Hungary and Portugal do battle at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Tuesday evening. The pair will go up against France and Germany in UEFA Euro 2020’s “Group of Death” so both will no doubt view this one as a mist-win game. The Portuguese caused an upset by going all the way in France five years ago, and Fernando Santos’s side will be hoping to get this summer’s Euros up and running with three points.

Marco Rossi’s Hungarians are without doubt the weak link in Group F, but two of their three fixtures will be taking place in front of their own fans in Budapest. Portugal have bigger fish to fry with mouth-watering games against Germany and France on the horizon, but they must see off Hungary first. Five of their last seven wins have come with clean sheets and Portugal are priced at odds of 5/4 to win to nil on Tuesday, which looks fair value to us.

15th Jun 2021

20:00 - France v Germany

Draw & BTTS @ 11/5

One of the standout group matches of UEFA Euro 2020 will take place on Tuesday night when Didier Deschamps’ France and Joachim Low’s Germany do battle at the Allianz Arena in Munich. With Portugal also in the group, Group F is without doubt the toughest in the championship. Can one of these European heavyweights get off to a flying start on Tuesday?

At the time of writing, France are the bookies’ favourites to win the Euros. Deschamps’ men went all the way at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, while they were runners-up on home soil at UEFA Euro 2016 five years ago. Germany are also among the favourites, and this could go either way in Munich. With that in mind, our money is going on the draw. Check out the draw and both teams to score at odds of 11/5.

16th Jun 2021

14:00 - Finland v Russia

Russia Win & BTTS @ 7/2

Markku Kanerva’s Finland and Stanislav Cherchesov’s Russia meet at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday afternoon for their second Group B game of UEFA Euro 2020. The Finns picked up a 1-0 win over Denmark in testing circumstances on Saturday, while the Russians were easily beaten by in-form Belgium. Who will prevail in this huge Group B matchup in midweek?

Overshadowed by the horrific Christian Eriksen incident, Finland managed to pick up a 1-0 win over the Danes in Copenhagen on matchday one once the match restarted later in the evening. As for the Russians, they were beaten 3-0 on home soil by Roberto Martinez’s impressive Belgium side. Despite the big opening round defeat, Russia are the clear favourites in this one. Check out the solid price of 7/2 for the Russian win and both teams to score in Saint Petersburg.

16th Jun 2021

17:00 - Turkey v Wales

Wales to Win by One Goal @ 7/2

Rob Page’s Wales take on Turkey this Wednesday in a vital UEFA Euro 2020 Group A matchup. After a hard-fought (and arguably undeserved) 1-1 draw with Switzerland in game one, a win for the Dragons would put them in a healthy position in the group. The Turks were poor in their opening fixture against an energetic Italy side, and Senol Gunes’ troops will be looking for all three points in the Olympic Stadium in Baku to get back on track in the tournament.

In the opening game of Euro 2020, Turkey were second best in all areas of the park against a rampant Italy team. Turkey lost 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and in all honesty it could have been worse for them as they looked tepid and devoid of ideas. Wales struggled for large parts in their match against the Swiss and did well to only concede one goal. Kieffer Moore stuck back for Wales with 15 minutes to go and the Welsh just about held on in the closing stages to earn what could turn out to be a huge point. We fancy Wales to follow that up with a narrow victory in Baku on Wednesday. Back the Welsh to win by one goal at a decent price of 7/2.

16th Jun 2021

20:00 - Italy v Switzerland

Italy to Win -1 Goal @ 13/8

Italy and Switzerland lock horns at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital on Wednesday night with the home side going in as favourites. Roberto Mancini’s men are in control of UEFA Euro 2020 Group A after a convincing win in the opening game of the tournament last Friday night. Victory for Gli Azzurri in Rome in midweek would see them safely through to the Round of 16 and we think they’ll manage to achieve that aim.

Italy were superb against Turkey last Friday, with an own goal and strikes from Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne giving them an easy 3-0 victory in the Olimpico. Vladimir Petkovic’s Switzerland were the better team against Wales but could only manage a 1-1 draw in Baku which would have left them very frustrated, not least because they had a goal ruled out (correctly) after a very narrow offside. Italy were very easy on the eye in their opener and they should ease past Switzerland here. As such, we’ll be putting some money on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 13/8.

17th Jun 2021

14:00 - Ukraine v North Macedonia

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

At the Arena Nationala in Bucharest on Thursday, Ukraine and North Macedonia square off in a UEFA Euro 2020 match that could prove crucial. Both teams were beaten in game one, so Thursday’s fixture in Romania is a huge one for the pair – defeat for either would make it extremely tricky to progress to the next round. Andriy Shevchenko’s troops are the clear favourites, but Igor Angelovski’s men will be no pushovers in Bucharest and will give as good as they get.

Ukraine came from two goals down to go level with Netherlands in Amsterdam on Sunday, but a late Denzel Dumfries goal gave the Dutch a 3-2 win on home turf. As for North Macedonia, their first ever Euros match ended in defeat, as they lost 3-1 to Austria in Bucharest. This is a tough fixture to call, so our money is going on the draw. You can get the solid price of 4/1 for the draw and both teams to score.

17th Jun 2021

17:00 - Denmark v Belgium

Belgium to Win to Nil @ 11/5

Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark and Roberto Martinez’s Belgium go head-to-head at the Parken Stadium this Thursday for their second Group B match of this summer’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. The Belgians, who are one of the favourites to lift the trophy, got off to a flying start with a convincing win over Russia. Three points in Copenhagen in midweek would take them into the Round of 16. Whether the horrendous situation with Christian Eriksen in Denmark’s match against Finland will have lingering effects remains to be seen. But the Danes will be keen to put in a good performance in honour of their player who collapsed after having a cardiac arrest.

Belgium eased past the Russians in Saint Petersburg in their first match, with Romelu Lukaku netting a brace in the 3-0 romp. Denmark opened up with a 1-0 home loss to Finland, though the Christian Eriksen incident overshadowed the match result which ended up being restarted after a few hours. Ultimately, we fancy the Belgians to make it six points out of six with another comfortable victory in this one. We’ll be backing Belgium to win to nil again at decent odds of 11/5.

17th Jun 2021

20:00 - Netherlands v Austria

Netherlands to Win by One Goal @ 13/5

Netherlands welcome Austria to the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Thursday for a crucial UEFA Euro 2020 Group C encounter. Both nations picked up wins on matchday one, and the winner of this one will safely book their spot in the last 16. Can the Dutch make home advantage count once again and make it six points out of six? Or will they prove leaky at the back once again, as they did against Ukraine?

Holland were involved in a five-goal thriller with Ukraine in their opening fixture, with a late Denzel Dumfries goal giving them a vital 3-2 win in Amsterdam. Austria battled hard to beat North Macedonia 3-1 in Bucharest, with Stefan Lainer, Michael Gregoritsch and Marko Arnautovic scoring the goals for the victors. This will be another tester for the Dutch but we fancy Frank de Boer’s men will do just about enough to secure a narrow win. Take a punt on Holland to win by one goal at odds of 13/5.

18th Jun 2021

14:00 - Sweden v Slovakia

Draw & BTTS @ 4/1

In UEFA Euro 2020 Group E on Friday afternoon, Janne Anderson’s Sweden and Stefan Tarkovic’s Slovakia lock horns at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg. Both nations picked up good results on matchday one, with the Swedes holding Spain to a draw in Seville, while the Slovaks beat Poland 2-1 in Russia. A victory for Slovakia would send them through to the Round of 16, while Sweden could all but book their place in the knockout stage if they muster the win.

Sweden were second best against the Spaniards at La Cartuja on Monday night, but Andersson’s boys held firm to pick up a handy 0-0 draw. Slovakia impressed against the Poles in Saint Petersburg, with Milan Skriniar netting the winner 20 minutes from time, and are in pole position in the group as things stand. These two look tough to split on paper and we can see the pair cancelling each other out in Russia. Check out the decent odds of 4/1 for the draw and both teams to score in this one.

18th Jun 2021

17:00 - Croatia v Czech Republic

Croatia Win @ 23/20

Croatia and Czech Republic meet at Hampden Park in a UEFA Euro 2020 Group D encounter on Friday. The Croatians are on zero points after their defeat at Wembley Stadium, so Zlatko Dalic’s troops will be desperate for a win in Glasgow. As for the Czechs, can they build on their impressive victory over Scotland? This certainly won’t be a walk in the park for the Croatian side, despite them being the strong favourites to get the victory.

In a tight fixture in London last Sunday, Croatia crashed to a narrow 1-0 defeat to England and looked a shadow of the side that made it to the final of the World Cup in Russia in 2018. Czech Republic got off to flying start at Hampden, with two excellent efforts from the superb Patrik Schick giving them a deserved 2-0 win over the Scots. Croatia desperately need the points and we fancy they should have enough about them to bounce back from defeat and edge this vital fixture in Glasgow on Friday. Take a punt on the 2018 FIFA World Cup runners-up to secure maximum points at the solid price of 23/20.

18th Jun 2021

20:00 - England v Scotland

England HT/FT @ Evens

Old rivals England and Scotland do battle at Wembley Stadium this Friday night in a huge UEFA Euro 2020 fixture. After an impressive win over Croatia in game one, Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions already have one foot in the last 16 and are the heavy favourites to win this one with room to spare. Steve Clarke’s Scotland prop up the Group D table after a disappointing defeat to Czech Republic on Monday and will be seeking a big improvement here. But it’s going to be a tough evening for the Scottish if England play half as well as they can.

England did enough to see off the Croatians in the English capital last Sunday, with Raheem Sterling scoring the only goal of the game. In phases of the game, England looked both assured and driven and if they turn up against Scotland the game could be over as a contest by half time. Scotland huffed and puffed in their fixture, but two moments of brilliance from Patrik Schick gave the Czechs a deserved 2-0 win at Hampden Park. The Scots will be up for this one, but we fancy England’s qualities to shine through. You can get odds of evens for the hosts to be winning at half time and full time, which looks good value to us.

19th Jun 2021

14:00 - Hungary v France

France to Win to Nil @ 21/20

Didier Deschamps’ France will be looking to make it six points out of six in UEFA Euro 2020 Group F when they take on Hungary at the Puskas Arena on Saturday. Backed by 60,000 fans, the Hungarians will be no pushovers in Budapest, but Les Bleus are the heavy favourites with the bookies. A win would see the tournament favourites go through to the last 16 with a game to spare.

Hungary held on for 84 minutes in their game with current European champions Portugal on Tuesday, but two late Cristiano Ronaldo goals helped the Portuguese to a 3-0 triumph. France were involved in a tight contest with Germany in Munich, with a Mats Hummels own goal giving Deschamps’ men a 1-0 win. France showed moment of flair but it was their defensive solidity that really stood out against a frustrated German side. As such we’re putting some money on the French to win to nil again at decent odds of 21/20.

19th Jun 2021

17:00 - Portugal v Germany

Draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Fernando Santos’s Portugal and Joachim Low’s Germany square off in a mouth-watering UEFA Euro 2020 Group F encounter at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday. The Germans could do with a win after kicking off their tournament with a narrow loss to France. A Portugal victory would take the UEFA Euro 2016 winners into the Round of 16.

The Portuguese had to work hard for their three points against Hungary in Budapest on Tuesday. The game was level at 0-0 with six minutes to go, but three late goals gave Portugal a 3-0 victory in front of nearly 60,000 fans. Germany were beaten 1-0 by France, with an own goal giving Les Bleus a vital three points. This could go either way in Munich, so put some money on the draw and both teams to score at odds of 10/3.

19th Jun 2021

20:00 - Spain v Poland

Spain to Win -1 Goal @ Evens

Spain and Poland clash in Seville on Saturday in a vital UEFA Euro 2020 Group E encounter. After being held to a disappointing 0-0 draw at La Cartuja by Sweden in game one, Luis Enrique’s men will be desperate for maximum points in this one. The Poles could also do with a positive result after defeat in their opener. La Roja at the clear favourites but Poland are not going to give them an easy ride of things.

Spain struggled to break Sweden down in their opening fixture of the tournament on Monday, being held to a goalless draw in Seville. There was a slight lack of invention in the final third that meant Spain were unable to find the breakthrough they desired. Paulo Sousa’s Poland, meanwhile, were beaten by Slovakia in their opener, falling to a 2-1 defeat at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg. Overall, we fancy the Spanish to strike back in style on Saturday. Check out the tempting price of evens for the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap.

20th Jun 2021

17:00 - Italy v Wales

Italy to Win -1 Goal @ 7/5

Italy and Wales lock horns at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome this Sunday for their final UEFA Euro 2020 Group A fixture. The Italians are safely through to the last 16 after two impressive wins so far. As for the Dragons, they are virtually through to the knockout stages after picking up four points from their two fixtures. This promises to be an intriguing encounter in Rome.

Roberto Mancini’s Italy have looked the real deal up until now, beating both Turkey and Switzerland 3-0. The Italians were the first team to book their spot in the next round of the Euros, and Gli Azzurri will want to make it nine points out of nine. Wales were excellent against the Turks, and if they are still in the game late on the sides might end up saving their energy for the knockout stages and settling for a draw. But overall we think the greater quality of the Italians will shine through and we are backing Italy to secure a comfortable victory on home soil. Put some money on the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap at odds of 7/5.

20th Jun 2021

17:00 - Switzerland v Turkey

Draw @ 3/1

Vladimir Petkovic’s Switzerland and Senol Gunes’ Turkey lock horns at the Olympic Stadium in Baku in a UEFA Euro 2020 Group A fixture on Sunday. Italy are through after taking six points out of six, while Wales look set to join them after a win and a draw. However, either the Swiss or Turks could still make it through to the Round of 16 as one of the best third-place teams if they muster a decent win here.

After drawing with the Welsh in game one, Switzerland were second best against Italy on Wednesday. They were never really in control of the game in Rome and were comprehensively outplayed, ultimately losing 3-0. Turkey also suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Italians, and they were beaten 2-0 by Wales in Baku on matchday two, which has left them pointless after two games. Both nations need maximum points, but we fancy this to end all square (3/1) in Azerbaijan, which would send both sides home.

21st Jun 2021

17:00 - North Macedonia v Netherlands

Netherlands to Win -1 Goal @ 5/6

Netherlands entertain North Macedonia at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Monday. Holland are through to the last 16 after two wins, while two defeats has seen Igor Angelovski’s Lions unable to qualify from Group C. The Dutch have already done what they set out to do, but Frank de Boer’s men will be looking for maximum points before kicking off the Round of 16. And few people will be betting against that happening.

It has been a tough first tournament for North Macedonia, who have been beaten by Austria and Ukraine. However, they certainly played their part in both games and can hold their heads up high for even having made it to the Euros. Holland kicked off with an enthralling 3-2 victory over the Ukrainians before securing a comfortable 2-0 win against the Austrians last time out. De Boer’s men should cruise to victory here, so put some money on Netherlands to win with a -1 goal handicap again at odds of 5/6.

21st Jun 2021

17:00 - Ukraine v Austria

Draw & BTTS @ 13/5

Ukraine and Austria go head-to-head in a crucial UEFA Euro 2020 Group C fixture on Monday night. A draw at the Arena Nationala could be enough to take both nations through to the last 16, but the pair will be gunning for all three points in Bucharest. A win for either side will guarantee their place in the knockout rounds so the stakes are high in this one.

Austria missed the chance to advance on Thursday when they lost 2-0 to Netherlands in Amsterdam. They had their chances in the game but were unable to punish the Dutch. Prior to that, they kicked off their tournament with a 3-1 victory over North Macedonia in Romania. Ukraine, meanwhile, battled hard but ultimately lost 3-2 to Holland in their opener. They bounced back with a 2-1 win against North Macedonia last time out to keep their last 16 dreams alive. All things considered, the stalemate is the fancied result here, which might well prove enough for both sides, and we like the look of the draw and both teams to score at odds of 13/5.

21st Jun 2021

20:00 - Finland v Belgium

Belgium to Win Both Halves @ 2/1

On Monday night, Finland and Belgium lock horns in Russia for a UEFA Euro 2020 encounter. The Belgians are safely through to the knockout stages after two wins out of two, while the Finns have taken three points from their opening two fixtures. A point for Markku Kanerva’s men should be enough to take them through to the last 16, but that will be a very tough ask against a particularly good Belgium side.

Belgium had to work hard for their points against Denmark in Copenhagen on Thursday. Roared on by a passionate crowd, the Danes led at half time. However, late goals from Thorgan Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne turned the game on its head to put Roberto Martinez’s men through. Even if the Belgium side has one or two changes to rest key players, we still think they will be far too strong for Finland. As such we fancy the in-form Red Devils to make it nine points out of nine with an easy victory in Saint Petersburg. Back Belgium to win both halves at odds of 2/1.

21st Jun 2021

20:00 - Russia v Denmark

Russia Win @ 9/2

Stanislav Cherchesov’s Russia and Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark clash at the Parken Stadium in the Danish capital for their final UEFA Euro 2020 Group B game this Monday. The Danes are not mathematically eliminated, but they need a miracle to book their spot in the Round of 16. After their win over Finland, three points for the Russians would take them through to the knockout stages.

Russia were easily beaten by Belgium in their opening game of the tournament, losing 3-0 on home turf. However, they bounced back with a crucial three points last time out, with Aleksei Miranchuk scoring the only goal of the game against Finland. Denmark have had a tough campaign thus far, not least because of the horrendous situation with Christian Eriksen. Unfortunately, we can see them crashing to a third defeat on Monday. Russia are priced at odds of 9/2 to get the win in Copenhagen and that looks decent value to us.

22nd Jun 2021

20:00 - Czech Republic v England

England to Win -1 Goal @ 13/8

Gareth Southgate’s England will be hoping to get back to winning ways after last week’s frustrating draw with rivals Scotland. On Tuesday night, the Three Lions take on Jaroslav Silhavy’s Czech Republic, who have also taken four points from two games. Three points for the English would see them go through to the UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 as Group D winners, though a draw would see both sides through to the knockout stage of the competition.

Raheem Sterling scored the only goal as England started with a win against Croatia. However, despite being the overwhelming favourites, English dropped two points in a 0-0 draw with the Scots last Friday. England showed a real lack of invention as they tried to break down a resolute Scotland side, and the Three Lions will need to show far more in this match to get the win. Patrik Schick has been Czech Republic’s hero so far, scoring three times to fire Silhavy’s side to four points. However, we fancy England to get the three points in this one and there is good value in the odds of 13/8 for the hosts to win with a -1 goal handicap.

22nd Jun 2021

20:00 - Croatia v Scotland

Croatia to Win by One Goal @ 3/1

Croatia and Scotland go head-to-head at Hampden Park on Tuesday night in a vital UEFA Euro 2020 Group D game. Both nations have taken just one point from their opening two matches, but one of these could still book their place in the Round of 16. The Scots are on home soil, but the Croatians, who made the final of the last World Cup, are the favourites in this one.

After opening up with a narrow 1-0 defeat to England at Wembley Stadium, Zlatko Dalic’s men came from behind to pick up a handy draw with Czech Republic last time out. They were still miles off the team they were in Russia in 2018 but they showed glimpses of finding their feet in this tournament. Scotland were excellent at Wembley last Friday night, holding the English to a 0-0 draw that frustrated the home side no end, much to the delight of the travelling Scots. The news that Scotland’s influential Billy Gilmour will miss this game will come as a big blow. And unfortunately for Steve Clarke and his men, we can see the Scots falling to a narrow defeat here. As such we’ll be taking a punt on Croatia to win by one goal at odds of 3/1.

23rd Jun 2021

17:00 - Slovakia v Spain

Spain Win & BTTS @ 9/4

Slovakia and Spain go head-to-head in a huge UEFA Euro 2020 Group E fixture at La Cartuja in Seville on Wednesday. Spain will be desperate for a win after taking just two points from their opening two games. Slovakia, who have three points to their name, could book their spot in the last 16 with a draw in Seville but they will be up against it.

Spain’s tournament has yet to take off, as Luis Enrique’s men have drawn with Sweden and Poland. They have dominated both games though in truth, recording over 75% possession and over two expected goals in both clashes. The Slovakians kicked off their competition with a 2-1 victory over the Poles in Saint Petersburg. However, Stefan Tarkovic’s side then lost 1-0 to the Swedes in Russia. La Roja are in danger of exiting the competition, but the three-time European champions should win this one on home soil. The Spain victory and both teams to score is available at 9/4 and is worth a punt given Spain know only a win will suffice.

23rd Jun 2021

17:00 - Sweden v Poland

Sweden Win @ 19/10

After taking four points from their opening two UEFA Euro 2020 fixtures, Janne Andersson’s Sweden are already safely through to the Round of 16. Victory over Poland at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday will take the Swedes through as Group E winners. Poland are on the cusp of elimination after taking one point from two matches but in a tight group they are still in with a chance.

Sweden opened up their Euros campaign with a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Spain in Seville in a match where they saw just 15% of the possession. Andersson’s troops followed that up with a vital victory over Slovakia in game two, with an Emil Forsberg penalty giving the Blue and Yellow a massive three points. Poland drew with Spain last time out, but Paulo Sousa’s side were beaten by Slovakia on matchday one. We like the look of the Sweden win in this one at the decent odds of 19/10.

23rd Jun 2021

20:00 - Portugal v France

Draw @ 19/10

Portugal and France lock horns in a mouth-watering UEFA Euro 2020 fixture at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Wednesday night, a repeat of the 2016 final. 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France are already through to the Round of 16 despite dropping two points last time out. A point will probably be enough for the Portuguese, but Fernando Santos’ men would love all three in Hungary.

Portugal left it late to pick up a 3-0 win over Hungary in game one, with all three goals coming after the 84th minute. Didier Deschamps’ France opened up with a 1-0 victory over Hungary. Portugal were then on the wrong end of a six-goal thriller in Munich, while Les Bleus were held to a 1-1 draw by the Hungarians in Budapest. This clash between two excellent teams could go either way, but we fancy the pair to cancel each other out. Back the draw at 19/10.

23rd Jun 2021

20:00 - Germany v Hungary

Germany to Win -1 Goal @ 8/15

The fascinating Group F at UEFA Euro 2020 comes to a conclusion on Wednesday night. France are already through, but who will join the world champions in the last 16? Both Germany and Portugal are on three points, while Hungary have one. This Wednesday, Joachim Low’s Germany welcome Marco Rossi’s Hungary to the Allianz Arena in Munich and they will expect to get the job done against opponents who will miss the raucous support their fans provided in the first two “home” games.

After a narrow loss to France in game one, Germany struck back in style against Portugal in their next one. Aided by two own goals, the Germans romped to a 4-2 victory over the current European champions in Munich. Hungary did superbly well to pick up a point against the French in front of 55,000 fans at the Puskas Arena last time out, though they rode their luck at times. Unfortunately for the Hungarians, our money is on Germany here. Die Mannschaft are priced at 8/15 to win -1 and with them benefitting from home support this time we fancy them to coast to the victory.

26th Jun 2021

17:00 - Wales v Denmark

Denmark to Win -1 Goal @ 12/5

Wales will feature in the first Round of 16 match at this summer’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. On Saturday evening, Rob Page’s Dragons travel to the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam to face Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark. The Welsh have looked solid in the competition so far, taking four points from their three group games, but they are the big underdogs in Holland. They have a number of individual stars in the forward areas and are solid at the back but Italy very much showed their limits when easily beating the Welsh, albeit the score was only 1-0.

Page’s troops opened up their campaign with a draw with Switzerland before beating Turkey 2-0 in Baku. They ended Group A with that narrow loss to Italy in Rome but went through to the last 16 as runners-up. The Danes lost their opening two in the shadow of what happened to Christian Eriksen before thumping Russia 4-1 in Copenhagen. This will be a tricky one for Wales, and we think that Denmark will be too strong in Amsterdam. Back the Danes to win -1 at big odds of 12/5.

26th Jun 2021

20:00 - Italy v Austria

Italy to Win Both Halves @ 3/1

Roberto Mancini’s Italy and Franco Foda’s Austria go head-to-head in a UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 tie at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. The Italians have set the tournament alight with some dazzling displays, though this will be their first game away from the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Nevertheless, Mancini’s men are the red-hot favourites to reach the last eight, with many tipping them to go all the way.

Gli Azzurri swept Turkey and Switzerland aside in their opening two, winning both matches 3-0. A changed side then edged past Wales in Rome on matchday three to make it nine points out of nine and three clean sheets. The Austrians picked up an impressive six points from their three group games, seeing off North Macedonia and Ukraine along the way. However, we are backing in-form Italy to ease to victory here. You can get 3/1 for the Italians to win both halves.

27th Jun 2021

17:00 - Netherlands v Czech Republic

Netherlands to Win by One Goal @ 5/2

Netherlands and Czech Republic lock horns at the Puskas Arena in Budapest in a UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 fixture on Sunday. Holland have looked impressive in the tournament thus far, winning all three of their group games and scoring eight times. The Czechs could be tough opponents for the Dutch, but Frank de Boer’s boys are the clear favourites in this one.

On their way to the last 16, Netherlands have beaten Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia. In the last one, they eased to a 3-0 victory over North Macedonia in Amsterdam, with Georginio Wijnaldum, who plays a more attacking role in his national side, netting a brace in a 3-0 win. Czech Republic were narrowly beaten by England last time out, and we can see a similar fate for the Czechs in Hungary. Put some money on the Dutch to win by exactly one goal here at the very nice price of 5/2.

27th Jun 2021

20:00 - Belgium v Portugal

Portugal Win @ 2/1

Belgium and Portugal meet in a mouth-watering UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 encounter at La Cartuja in Seville on Sunday night. This clash is probably the tie of the round if you aren’t English and could easily go either way. The Belgians are one of the tournament favourites, but the Portuguese will be tough opponents in Spain. Which one of these European heavyweights will book their spot in the last eight?

Without setting the world alight, Belgium cruised into the last 16 with three wins from three. Roberto Martinez’s men will be hoping to save their best for the knockouts and will at least be very happy with how sharp Romelu Lukaku is looking. Portugal were involved in a fascinating Group F alongside France, Germany and Hungary. The current European champions took four points and went through as one of the best third-place teams following a fascinating last round of games that seemed to to and fro constantly. This could go either way, but we are tipping the Portuguese to edge a tight and tense tussle in Seville. The Portugal win is available at 2/1.

28th Jun 2021

17:00 - Croatia v Spain

Spain Win & BTTS @ 3/1

Croatia and Spain lock horns at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on Monday in the fifth of the UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 ties. Both nations picked up vital victories in their previous matches to book their places in the last 16 and both will fancy their chance of progressing. La Roja have not been at their best up until now, but Luis Enrique’s men are the clear favourites to go through to the last eight.

After taking one point from their opening two Group D fixtures, the Croatians needed to beat Scotland in Glasgow last Tuesday. Zlatko Dalic’s men did just that, with Nikola Vlasic, Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic on the scoresheet in a 3-1 victory. For the first time in the tournament, Croatia looked like they really meant business, which could worry Spanish fans. Spain, meanwhile, saved their best for last, thumping Slovakia 5-0 in Seville in a match they controlled from start to finish. Enrique’s troops went through on five points after starting with two draws but they have hit good form at the right time. We can see Spain nicking the win here and there is good value in the Spanish victory and both teams to score at odds of 3/1.

28th Jun 2021

20:00 - France v Switzerland

France to Win -1 Goal @ 6/4

UEFA Euro 2020 favourites France are in Round of 16 action this Monday night in the sixth game of the round. Didier Deschamps’ men travel to the Arena Nationala in Bucharest to face Vladimir Petkovic’s Switzerland. As you would expect, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winners are fancied to go through to the quarter-finals, but can the solid and wily Swiss side cause an upset in Romania?

France went through as group winners despite drawing their last two fixtures (against Hungary and Portugal). There is no doubt that it was a tough group (with Germany the other side), and Deschamps’ troops were the only unbeaten side in Group F. Switzerland, meanwhile, finished third behind Italy and Wales in Group A, winning one, drawing one and losing one, but they didn’t show enough to suggest they could seriously trouble the star-studded French side. The world champions have yet to really hit their stride in the Euros but we can see Les Bleus picking up a comfortable victory in Bucharest. You can get odds of 6/4 for France to win with a -1 goal handicap and that looks good to us.

29th Jun 2021

17:00 - England v Germany

England Win @ 6/4

Old rivals England and Germany square off in a mouth-watering UEFA Euro 2020 fixture at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday evening in arguably the standout Round of 16 tie. If the Three Lions get the better of the Germans, it will be Joachim Low’s final game in charge of the national team. The bookies have the English as the slight favourites but when these sides meet anything can happen (and then Germany tend to win on penalties!).

England went through to the knockout stages of this tournament after topping their group on seven points thanks to Raheem Sterling’s goals and a solid defence. Germany’s road to the last 16 was far more complicated. They were minutes away from going out when they trailed Hungary in their final group match but a late Leon Goretzka goal earned them a 2-2 draw and a second place finish in Group F. Fixtures between these foes are always fascinating affairs, and this one at Wembley will be no different. It really could go either way, but this Germany side look there for the taking compared to teams of the past so stick your money on England to win in 90 minutes at decent betting odds of 6/4.

29th Jun 2021

20:00 - Sweden v Ukraine

Sweden HT/FT @ 3/1

The final Round of 16 match at UEFA Euro 2020 will see Sweden and Ukraine go head-to-head at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Tuesday night. Janne Andersson’s Swedes have been excellent so far having taken seven points to finish above Spain to top Group E. As for Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukrainians, they scraped through as the fourth best third-place team after not showing too much promise in their group games. Sweden should have enough to get the victory, but in the knockout stages of tournaments, things become harder to predict.

Sweden were superb in Group E, winning two and drawing one to go through on seven points. Despite defeats to Netherlands and Austria, Ukraine’s 2-1 win over North Macedonia on 17th June proved to be enough to take them through. Unfortunately for Shevchenko and his men, their Euros journey could well come to an end on Tuesday. We think the Swedes will have more than enough ammunition to get the job done and we like the look of Sweden to be winning at half time and full time at odds of 3/1.

2nd Jul 2021

17:00 - Switzerland v Spain

Spain Win & BTTS @ 11/4

The first quarter-final of UEFA Euro 2020 will see Switzerland and Spain go head-to-head at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg on Friday. The Swiss did superbly well to get past world champions France in Bucharest on Monday, but Luis Enrique’s men will provide another stiff test. La Roja are the bookies’ favourites in this one but after their performance and fightback against France, the underdogs will fear nobody.

Switzerland looked dead and buried at 3-1 down on Monday, but two goals in the last nine minutes took their tie with France to extra time and then penalties. Kylian Mbappe had his spot kick saved after nine successful strikes to put the Swiss through. Spain were also involved in an epic Round of 16 encounter, as they needed extra time to beat Croatia 5-3. Switzerland will still be buzzing after their famous win over the French, but the Spaniards could be too strong in Russia. You can get 11/4 for the Spain win and both teams to score and after what transpired in the last round that looks well worth a punt.

2nd Jul 2021

20:00 - Belgium v Italy

Draw @ 21/10

Two European heavyweights lock horns at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday night in a UEFA Euro 2020 quarter-final. These two nations are the form sides in Europe right now, but only one can progress to the last four of the tournament. The pair are tough to split in the betting, though the Italians are the slight favourites. This promises to be a cracking knockout tie on German soil.

Belgium have won all four games at the Euros so far, picking up nine points out of nine in Group B before beating Portugal 1-0 in the Round of 16. Italy won three group games on the spin but needed extra time to see off Austria in the last 16. This gigantic tussle could go either way in Munich, and we fancy it to go to extra time. Check out the solid price of 21/10 for the draw in the 90.
